Chiaki Nanami propaganda:

She's an AI made for this weird VR therapy world, based on a real person I guess, but this is specifically about game-Chiaki and not anime-Chaki so she is 100% virtual. She's also the Ultimate Gamer, #dies but like since she's a program she's still in there somewhere and is able to influence the protagonist still. i love her

She's a virtual peer to peer therapy observer, she's a Big Reveal, she's got narcolepsy (in as much as a virtual guy can have narcolepsy), she's a Gamer who forgets to breathe when she's in the zone, she has terrible handwriting, she illustrates her therapy progress report in crayon, she's blunt to a fault, she'll defend people she cares about even when she doesn't understand them, she dies for your sins, and she's even autistic. I'd do anything for her.

She holds the title of "Ultimate Gamer" and is also soooo autistic coded. Normally I'm not a big fan of that in characters that are secretly AI because of the unfortunate implications, but the plot goes out of its way to say that just because she's an AI doesn't make her any less real, and she's never denied of her personhood, which balances it out in my opinion. Also, she has THE most heartbreaking moment in her home game, which says a lot for a piece of media about teenagers who are forced to kill each other.

Chiaki, one of the judges is Nagisa Shingetsu’s Dad. The Lil Ultimate Social Studies. They subject their elementary school aged son to extreme abuse and force him to stay awake so he won’t stop studying. His four other friends Kotoko Utsugi, Masaru Daimon, Jataro Kemuri and Monaka Towa were all Lil Ultimates suffering abuse from their parents in cruel ways. They were almost driven to suicide until Junko came along and gave them terrible influence by killing all of the adults.

Akane Owari: 

She’d never really been online before, not until Chiaki had requested it. 

They had a group chat for some of the people Chiaki was friends with, and she wanted them to meet her real life friends. 

Probably not the smartest idea, but Akane had jumped on it nonetheless. 

There, she’d met S/O. 

They quickly became friends, sharing jokes and memes. 

Before she’d known it, she had a crush on them. 

And everyone could tell. 

She’d constantly check her phone, eyes lighting up when she saw S/O had texted her. 

And of course, she knew that they were depressed and had thoughts of suicide. 

She did everything in her power to stop them, successfully talking them down twice. 

But three times was the charm. 

And the charm wasn’t in her favor. 

S/O had logged off after she had thought that she’d talked them down. 

She’d been a little concerned, because they didn’t normally do that. 

A month passed, with zero word from S/O. 

Akane had assumed she’d said something wrong and that they weren’t going to talk to her. 

Until, of course, she got a text. 

“Hey.” 

Her breath hitched then, and she stopped in the middle of what she was doing. 

“S/O?!? Where have you been? I’ve been worried, ya know!” 

It took a moment for S/O to respond, but she found the phone slipping from her hands as she read the message. 

“I….Akane…I tried to kill myself. I took a gun from my dad’s safe and tried to…end it. Luckily, my mom caught me just as I was about to, and now I’m going through more intensive therapy with their support.” 

A moment passed without a message, and another appeared onscreen. 

“I’m sorry.” 

Akane started crying, and with no hesitation, dialed their number. 

They picked up on the first ring, only to hear Akane’s sobs. 

“Akane…I…” 

“Don’t ever do that again! Never!” 

“….” 

“S/O….I-I don’t….I don’t know what I’d do without you….so please….don’t….don’t do that again.” 

She could hear S/O sniffle on the other end of the line after a very long moment. “I won’t. I’m sorry…” 

“It’s okay.” She responded, calming down from her hysteria at last. “I missed you, you know.”

S/O’s response makes her break into a smile. 

“I missed you, too.” 

Chiaki Nanami: 

She meets S/O over the internet, of course. 

They get along swell, and S/O’s as passionate as she is about games. 

But, they do concede that she’s way better. 

They laugh and joke around, but sometimes it’s more serious. 

After a while, they start going out. 

Chiaki had her own struggles with being depressed, but had never really seriously considered ending her life. 

S/O had struggles, too, but unlike her, they considered it. 

And she’d had to talk them down more than once. 

She didn’t really think anything of it - stuff like that happened. 

But the most recent time, they hadn’t gotten back on the next day. 

She’d clutched her phone with increasingly white knuckles, waiting for them to get on. 

But, she wouldn’t have to wait for that. 

She’d find out what happened. 

They were watching the news in class - and a breaking news announcement came on. 

“High School Student Jumps From Roof.” 

That’s what it read. 

Her blood ran cold suddenly, and the footage from another student’s camera zoomed in on the student. 

Bile rose in her throat as the face was revealed to be S/O’s. 

They were smiling with an eerie peace, and with one step, they were off the roof. 

And they were falling, and falling, and falling, until they’d hit the grass with a sickening crunch. 

It took everything Chiaki had not to scream or throw up. 

But - she was sobbing into her arms. 

Hajime stood and gently guided her out of the room and to the nurse. 

The nurse understood the situation after a shaky explaination from Chiaki, and let them both go home. 

Hajime stuck by her side, as she dialed S/O’s number again and again in between fits of hysteric sobbing. 

After the 20th time, someone picked up. 

“Hello?” 

“Who…..Who is this?” 

“This S/O’s mother.” 

“Are….are they okay?” 

“Can I ask who’s asking?” 

“Chiaki Nanami. S/O’s girlfriend.” 

“Ah…S/O spoke of you often.” 

The use of the past tense made her mouth dry and a tremble overtake her. 

“Does that mean that they’re…?” 

“No. They’re going to be just fine.” 

“Oh thank god…I thought….I thought-” 

S/O’s mother’s voice turned soft all of the sudden. “It’s alright, dear. They’re going to be just fine. Deep breaths.” 

She did as told, stopping her shaking. 

“When…can I talk to them?” She asked at last. 

“I don’t know. Whenever they contact you next would be the best time.” 

She nodded. “Alright. Thank you.” 

S/O’s mom hung up. 

For the following month, she kept waiting, and waiting. 

And then she got a call. 

S/O’s caller ID flashed on her screen, and she picked up instantly. 

“S/O? Are you doing okay?” 

“I - I’m doing fine Chiaki. Everything’s going good.” 

She burst into happy tears. “Oh, thank god.” 

“Listen…I wanted to say that I’m sorry and that I understand if you don’t want to be with me-” 

“S/O, I’ll always want to be with you. If something happened to you, or if….we broke up, I’d be missing apart of myself. So please…just don’t try that again, okay? I can’t…lose you.” 

S/O sighed tiredly. 

“I won’t.” 

The gamer smiled. 

“Good.”

Chiaki only responded with a shake of her head, curling up a bit more. She was really starting to feel the effects of staying up so late the other night. But, she couldn't help it! She just HAD to finish that playthrough! Her online fans were counting on her! And, while she was glad she managed to get it done, she was kicking herself for not skipping breakfast and just sleeping in... So, after breakfast, the digestive sleepies had really kicked in... She wasn't willing to move. She wanted to cuddle up right there. She had seen just how sweet Sonia had been to Kazuichi. And, she wanted a piece of that warmth and comfort to help her sleep~

"No bed?" Sonia mused, running her fingers through Chiaki's hair. "You want to stay here hm?" To which Chiaki responded with a nod. "Are you sure? i would imagine your bed would be much more comfortable than my lap."

"Nooooo..." Chiaki whined sleepily as she curled up tighter. "Here..."

"Well...alright then. If you are certain," Sonia soothed. "You may stay here to nap. Would you like me to rub your back?"

"....scratchies..."

"Scratchies? Oh! You'd like me to scratch your back? I can do that~" Sonia smiled, gently scratching the sleepy girls back. "There we go, isn't that nice?" she asked.

"Mmmm..." Chiaki nodded. With Sonia scratching, and eventually humming, it didn't take too long for the baby girl to fall asleep right in Sonia's warm lap~

💜Kyoko Kirigiri💜

💜We all know that Kyoko is quiet and closed off, rarely showing emotion. She appears to not show much interest in your talent, however her thoughts differ.

💜Kyoko loves hearing you voice act and mimic the rest of the students. Your impression of Byakuya has to be her favorite. Sometimes she'll bring along Makoto, Aoi, Sakura, Kiyotaka or others to listen to your voice acting.

💜Your voice will help soothe Kyoko getting anxious and it'll calm her down as well. Kyoko will ask you to act as any character that'll make her laugh (at least in her head) or make her focus.

💜Whenever you act as Byakuya, it's usually, "Oh, I'm so rich and perfect! I'm Byakuya Togami, Ultimate Better-than-you-and-always-will-be!", which always brings a small smile to Kyoko's face.

💜Kyoko really enjoys your talent and likes to study it. She'll ask you how you learned to voice act, when you started voice acting. Kyoko will also ask you your favorite and least favorite characters to play.

💜Kyoko will sometimes bring what she's learned about your voice acting to her father. Surprisingly her father isn't as mean as you imagined and was actually into studying into your Ultimate.

💜If there's a crowd of people who like your voice acting, Kyoko will ask Aoi and Sakura to help you get through the crowd. Otherwise Kyoko will just glare at them and scare them off.

💜Sometimes hang outs between you involve just watching anime, movies and/or cartoons and trying to relax while Yasuhiro and Aoi hog the donuts.

💜Kyoko and you became friends because of yoru Ultimate. You were trying out Sakura's voice and Kyoko thought it was actually Sakura. Kyoko saw that Sakura wasn't there, and asked you about it. You ended up telling her that you were voice acting.

💜Needless to say, Kyoko was impressed. She felt thankful to have you in her life, as a friend/partner/however you want to word it.

(p.s. this one is only 7 headcanons because I couldn't really think of anything else)

🤎Makoto really just thinks of himself as basic. That should be obvious, so when he found out you had an Ultimate talent, let alone of voice acting, let's just say he pulled a Hajime.

🤎He was pretty into anime, movies and shows so he had spent a lot of his free time researching voice actors of things he liked. It was pretty cool to Makoto how you could voice act as any character, and a bit of the class too.

🤎You and Makoto will spend a bunch of time researching new voices and how to do them, looking at voice actors who have acted for a lot of the same things, stuff like that.

🤎Makoto will listen to you imitate voices. Makoto likes to listen to you try to do everyone's voices and you'll also do voices from shows, movies and animes you like.

🤎Makoto and you love to just goof off with random voices. You'll come out with a competely random voice that you don't know existed.

🤎You and Makoto met at a con, actually. Makoto and you had accidentally walked into each other and then friendship happened.

🤎Overall, Makoto loves you very much and is a great friend/partner/however you want to word it.

💖In all seriousness, Chiaki was REALLY into your Ultimate. She spends a lot of her free time looking up her favorite video game voice actors. The smile on her face when she found out that you were Ultimate SHSL Voice Actor is one you will never forget.

💖Sometimes Chiaki falls asleep just by listening to you act as [insert favorite video game character].

It was early morning, the sun was just starting to show through you curtains. Darting your eyes from the light to the clock you realized that you where all alone in the bed.

After getting up you wrapped a towel around you, not feeling like getting dressed just yet.

It was only after you left you bed that you saw Mikan scurry into your cabin with a small tray of food.

The poor girl almost droped the tray in surprise when she saw you awake.

"(Y-Y/n)!" she said loudly before quickly holding out the tray "I-Im sorry I left without letting you k-know!! I-Its just that w-we both did alot of.." She studdered, not being able to continue the thought as her face got more red. "...H-here! This is for you! I'm sorry if its not the best! im not that good of a-a cook!"

After taking the tray from mikan you looked, there where heart shapped eggs, some toast and two strips of bacon, along with a fruit smothie.

"Mikan did you make this all by youself...?" You asked only to get a quick head nod while she looked down.

"I-Im sorry its not the bes-" You cut here off when you put the tray down and wrap your arms around her. "Thank you mikan! I love it!"

Stunned for a moment, She gives a timid smile and hugs you back "Y-Youre welcome!"

That morning was spent with Mikan trying to feed you the breakfast herself while showering you in affection, constantly apologizing when you try to express that you can do it yourself.

You wake up to Chiaki hugging youre side as she slept, She looks so peaceful.

Turning, carefuly, to look at the clock you see that it was already pretty late in the morning.

'people will be wondering where we are' you thought with a slight frown.

You turned back to chaki "hun~ its time to get up~" you say softly playing with her surprisingly soft hair.

She dosent wake up, but rather groand softly and burrie her head beeper into your side, falling back asleep.

Signing, you sit up, placeinng a kiss on her forehead "I'll go get you some coffee" you whisper, getting up and reaching for your clothes on the ground.

Before you could get up, she reached out and grabbed your arm ever so gently.

"Five more minutes...?" she asked, lifting her head and looking at you sleepily.

After a small paused, you give her a small smile on go back into bed, wrapping your arms around her and closeing your eyes, "Okay you win this time...five more minutes."

When the two of you eventually get out of bed, it was already noon and she still eventually fell sleep leaning against you while she played some game on her hand held device.
