Perception and Self-Worth

Perception From a Positive Outlook

Happy people don't require motivation.  Their perception of the world comes through bright, crisp lenses. Sure, they have bad days too, like any living being.  Unexpected things happen that bring disappointment.  But they work it out and return to their natural state: Being Happy.  They are optimists.  They see possibility.  Often, even they, are blinded by Limiting Beliefs, but they have fewer of those than most. Even if they are Reactive (as opposed to Pro-Active) creatures of circumstance, their mind naturally focuses on the good things around them, which helps them gravitate back into their natural state.  Happy people spread the happiness.  They lend a helping hand when they can, often without expecting immediate retribution.  When they have to do something, they do it now, and not leave it for another day.  They seem to always be prepared for things. They share common traits. They have high-levels of energy.  They don't seem to hold grudges for long.  They share selflessly.  They love art and music.  They like people (which coincidentally, makes people like them back).  They are more prone to take calculated risks because in their mind, positive outcomes with good benefits are more likely. They are compassionate.  They tend to try to lift those around them, even at their expense. They naturally take actions that bring them pleasure, and find pleasure in taking action.  

Perception From a Negative Outlook

The same happens with unhappy people.  Except their perception of the world is through darkened, stained dirty lenses (the result of negative programming deep within the lizard brain). Unhappy people are caught in negative states.  Guilt, Shame, Sorrow, Anxiety or Anger, unhappy people easily enter these states and are unable to work past them.  The negative feelings drain their energy levels, and make them focus on scarcity.  They envy those who are in a better state, resent therm even, Actions and reactions are almost always triggered by the fear only.  Even when good things happen to them, they cannot fully enjoy the experience because they are expecting "the other foot to drop". They also share a common set of traits. Unhappy people have low levels of energy: they are always tired without there really being a reason. That is because their subconscious is constantly in a state of flight, and they literally become mentally exhausted. They procrastinate. They don't follow through with their intents, and worse, with their word.  They miss deadlines..They shirk off responsibility.  They try to get others to do things for them and never reciprocate.  They avoid, and at times, outright dislike people for no apparent reason.  They snap.  They feel entitled.  Unhappy people feel the need to drive others down, to feel elevated and superior.  They get really good at coming up with excuses.
