There’s no one who irritates you more than the Weasley Twins. 

They’re loud, immature, unreliable, clumsy, arrogant, touchy, careless, childish, stubborn, just genuinely stupid. It’s as if everything you hated had been mixed together and formed into two tall, redheaded, teenage boys. 

Ever since you started your first year with them, it’s felt as if they’re the most agitating people in the world. Now you're all in your fifth year, and they’ve only gotten worse since then. 

It’s bad enough that you got put in the same house as them, you also somehow got multiple classes with them every year, and that your parents were friends with their parents. But, what added fuel to the fire was that they knew you didn’t like them, that you found them annoying and unfunny, and that only made them pester you more.

Yet it was surprising you were able to make friends with their younger brother, Ron. He didn’t care about your hatred for the twins, he agreed sometimes on how they would take their “pranks” too far, especially with him. He spilled to you about the plenty of times they used his phobias against him, when Fred turned his teddy bear into a spider when he was younger, they practically fueled his fear of spiders, or when both of the twins tried to get him to make an unbreakable vow when he was only five.

Ron also told you about how they tormented his other siblings as well.

George once admitted (proudly) that he and Fred attempted to shove Percy into a tomb while on a trip to Egypt, however, their mum caught them in the act, and they put beetles in his soup. They let off a dungbomb under their elderly aunt's chair on Christmas day. Even though you heard about their elderly aunt being unpleasant and unsympathetic, it’s risky to scare a 107-year-old with something explosive.

They would mess with their older brother Charlie, who studies and takes care of dragons now, by hiding his books about dragons or pretending that they accidentally destroyed them.

The twins seemed the most lax with Ginny, you didn’t hear about too many mean pranks being pulled on her. They would scare her by jumping up behind her with creepy masks on or steal all her food off her plate when she wasn’t looking. She was probably the favorite sibling to them.

There were so many more events that gave you more reasons to hate them.

In their first year, they set off a dungbomb in one of the corridors, the smell wouldn’t go away for days, it lingered through the air and anyone even remotely close would unwillingly get the strong, foul, disgusting smell of it in their nostrils, also if you walked through the gas, the smell would stick to you. 

They fed a firework to a salamander, they wanted to ‘see what would happen’. You accidentally and unwillingly witnessed it, making the mistake of choosing to study at the lake that day.

They’ve hidden and messed up Percy’s Head Boy badge, they nearly made their poor brother cry because of it.

At the end of Second year, they set off the last of their Filibuster Fireworks on the train ride home.

They constantly stole items from other classmates, including you. There have been multiple times your textbooks and/or notes have gone missing for several days. When your stuff would magically appear on your bed in the dorms, there’d be a note attached to it saying “Thanks for letting us borrow this!” or something along the lines of that. Also, little doodles and drawings on the sides of your notes and sometimes your textbook.

Sometimes they wouldn’t even put your textbooks or your notes on your bed, they’d hide them. Putting them in your nightstand drawers, under your bed, behind the curtains, inside your closet, on top of the closet, and even inside of your pillowcase. You remember the first time they hid it there.

You had stayed up far too late studying in the common room, there was a test in Snape’s class in the morning that you definitely weren't ready for. You decided maybe you should go to bed after your head nearly hit the table you were sitting at for a third time due to you falling asleep.

You closed your notebook and gathered your supplies, heading up to the girl's dormitory. Too tired to put your things away properly, you put them on the floor next to your bed. You turned off your lamp and flopped down onto your pillow. Instead of feeling a cool, soft, and comfortable cushion touch your head, you hit your head on a large, solid, and heavy textbook.

You hissed out loud in pain, causing a few girls to groan and stir in their sleep. You sat up and held the side of your head which was now stinging, you wouldn’t be surprised if you got a lump the next day due to how hard your head smacked into it.

You turned back on the light next to your bed, you looked at your pillow, noticing the large rectangular shape inside it, you could see the cover of your textbook with a small piece of paper stuck on it through the sheer fabric. Angrily, you took your textbook out of the pillowcase, taking the folded piece of the paper that was on the front and opening it.

You would’ve screamed and stormed your way over to the boy's dorm to beat both of the twins with the book if it wasn’t past midnight and if you weren’t in a room of sleeping girls. All you could do was put the textbook with the rest of your things and go to sleep angry, or at least try to sleep, now that you were wide awake and your head was throbbing.

Anyways, they also cheated all the time, they’d constantly bug you for answers in the middle of tests when they didn’t even need them. You hate to say this, but they were insanely good at potions. It makes sense how they created all those sweets. They would be able to fly through the tests in less than ten minutes at least, but they didn’t, they were lazy, so they’d mooch off you. When they’d get caught, they’d both blame you, which nearly got you in trouble with Snape several times.

Speaking of professors. They would mess with them. They threw snowballs at the back of Professor Quirrell's head. But, after learning the truth about what was going on with Quirrell under the head scarf. Maybe that could be the only thing they’ve ever done that was somewhat valid. It was still bad for Quirrell, he was already taking enough sneering from students the entire time he was working at the school, he was just being used as a vessel.

But that's not the point we’re talking about here. 

There are way too many reasons for why you hate those redheaded twins. You didn’t understand how people put up with them, how they found them entertaining and funny. They were embarrassing. You hated how they excused themselves from responsibility. How they claimed everything they did was a “joke” or “prank” to get out of trouble.

It was like your brain was programmed to put you in a bad mood anytime you thought of them or were around them. Your eyes would roll annoyedly at the sight of them. You would get snippy and aggressive if they even tried talking to you. You did everything in your power to keep yourself away from them for the sake of your mood.

Their entire existence made your blood boil. Fred especially. He’s the worst out of the two of them. But there’s a difference between him and George. Fred is the instigator, George smooths things out, but that doesn’t mean he’s not trouble though. George is less annoying, only a bit less annoying. He’s nearly as annoying as Fred, but it seems as if Fred is more determined to get on your nerves.

And he is. You can tell.

He becomes louder when near you, constantly taps on your shoulder, asking for something when he already knows you won’t give him whatever it is or pretends like he didn’t, he also throws things at you and pretends that he doesn’t, lies or says things wrong on purpose just for you to scoff and correct him, calls you nicknames that you hate, teases you for whatever he can find, it’s as if he nitpicks anything you do so he can use it against you to annoy you, he does every little thing that peeves you only because he wants to get some type of reaction out of you, and the only reason on why he does it? He thinks it’s funny. 

Fred isn’t completely fond of you either.

He knows what bothers you, what gets on your nerves, what makes your blood boil, then he uses it against you, to piss you off. You’re not sure how exactly he knows so much, but just somehow he does. Either it could be because he knows legilimency (which is very unlikely) or it’s that he’s just been listening in on your conversations with friends.

Whatever, what you are sure of is that you can’t stand the Weasley twins. You hate the Weasley twins. You hate Fred and George Weasley. You hate Fred Weasley. You hate him with every bone and muscle in your body.

the two of you stared at the doctor as he concluded his statements. the brunettes face was unaffected. he has expected this, after all. although, you held your breath and took shallow breaths as the doctor excused himself, leaving the room and closing the door quietly. the room went silent, only the beating of the wind against the window was heard.

“it’s alright ~”

a voice cheerfully said. you turned your body to meet dazais soft expression, face still unchanging and eyes wide in shock.

“what do you mean ‘it’s al -“

“being confined to a wheelchair and stuff doesn’t sound so bad. kunikida might lessen the work for me, ya’know ?”

your eyes darted around, looking at his broken body. eyebrows furrowed and your face changed into one of many emotions. you couldn’t tell what you were feeling, but it was surely all anger. and maybe a little bit of sorrow.

maybe more than a little.

“‘samu …”

dazai looked at you with a calm expression, wincing slightly in pain every now and then when he breathed. the sight of your lover in such condition made your heart cry.

“falling down an elevator isn’t that bad. especially if you’re me.” he gave a small chuckle at his joke, and lightly coughed, although seemed unaffected afterwards. dazai watched you, who was unresponsive, and his eyes darkened.

“take this as a punishment for my crimes.”

you thinned your lips. what does one even say in a situation like this ..?

wiping your on coming tears, you took a breath and relaxed your face.

“is there … anything i can help you with ?”

dazai hummed, his face unchanging from the grin he had on, nodding slowly.

“there sure is, love ! you could do my paperwork, feed me, bathe me, tuck me into bed, ahh, the list can go on.”

you forced out a chuckle quietly, wanting to lighten up the mood, the same as to what dazai was doing.

“sure. i’ll do that. once you get home, what do you wanna eat ..?”

“hmm … crab, maybe ? they aren’t that expensive, now are they ? oh what am i saying, you’re paying and preparing, after all !”

dazais small and cheering tone made you smile softly. you knew this was far from what he was really feeling, but it was best to follow along, as his eyes begged you to do so, the endless black void being all there was, little bits of light being visible.

Hi! Awesome theories, I had a question and I wanted to ask if you have anything to add to it! In chapter 106 or 107 I think, Hanako burst into tears after Tsukasa kissed Nene and took her with him. Why do you think he had that reaction and not something like rage? When I first read the chap I would've thought that would be his reaction.

Also why did Tsukasa even kiss Nene in the first place? I guess to just mock him for his powerlessness to stop him or maybe just to get him riled up? Maybe thats why he asked if Hanako was angry and why Hanako told him he's not? What do you think?

This scene made me think of many possibilities, but from the beginning I already had the idea that Hanako wouldn't do anything against Tsukasa, I had even made a fun post about how Hanako would act when he met Tsukasa.

It's interesting that we notice something subtle in their reunion, when Tsukasa asks Amane if he's going to kiss Nene too, he asks as if it were something so common and simple.

You kissed Nene once, I'm going to kiss her too, oh! were you angry because I kissed her Amane?

No.

So, are you going to kiss her too?

In other words, it's okay for Tsukasa to share the girl between them, and Tsukasa seemed to WANT Amane to see that it's okay for him. He purposely kissed Nene in front of him.

Shall we share girlfriend Amane?

Hanako doesn't like sharing, and that includes Nene, but look at his reaction. When Hanako thought about the possibility of Tsuchigomori becoming a cat and doing "erotic" things with Nene, he was ready to threaten him with death, albeit in a comical way.

When he thinks about the possibility of Nene going out with Kou at the festival, he fights with all his will to get in their way and in the end he actually finds a way to prevent the two of them from being together.

When it comes to Tsukasa he simply says he's not angry, even though he clearly is, he cried like the world was ending, but he didn't do ANYTHING about it, he didn't even scold Tsukasa.

"Mommy! Tsukasa got my girl!" cry Cry

"But, we can share Amane!"

Initially I thought that Tsukasa did this to force Amane to do what he wants, but we saw that this is not the case.

So, Tsukasa wanted Amane to know that it's okay for him to share a girlfriend? What can we interpret from this?

Hi! Do you have any headcanons about the Howling Commandos?

Okay well sorry in advance 'nonny but it's been that kinda day so this answer might be a bit depressing

(to offset that here's an old ask with Howlie headcanons)

14 Headcanons about the Howling Commandos:

.

1 - all of the guys in the 107 who were captured by Hydra and put to work in the Krausberg POW-camp/factory later died of radiation-related cancers because of being exposed to Tesseract energy. (This was reported upon in the scientific press, post-war, and is part of the reason why people like Bruce Banner were duped into believing that the Bio-Tech Force Enhancement Project would be interested in a gamma-radiation sickness treatment.)

2 - Because Steve made the 107 famous, post-war there was a controversy of unscrupulous members of the 107 who hadn't been captured (ie. the guys who threw rotten food and homophobic jeers at Steve) claiming to have been in Krausberg. But the fact that those guys didn't develop the same health problems as real 107 rescue-ees unmasked them as valour thieves. (Especially galling for the Howlies, since Dum-Dum had had to fight for the government to officially recognise Gabe and Morita's valour in medals, as they deserved.)

3 - one of the Howlies' acquaintance Steve never got to meet was Izzy Cohen, a kid Bucky took under his wing from basic training onwards, who had lied about being underage in order to get into the Army. The same guns which Bucky and the guys were later forced to make for the Nazis turned him into a blue mist at Azzano.

4 - Gabe and Morita came from all-POC squads who were killed off completely because the Nazi guards at Krausberg were hardest on them and because they were the first Zola picked off to experiment on. (This presaged later torture by Zola of Isaiah's men, and of Asian civilians by Werner Reinhardt; both men hired by Peggy's SHIELDra).

5 - During the war Gabe once sat next to Bucky at a campfire, watching Steve perform some feat of extraordinary strength across the way, and -- thinking of his friends he had lost -- asked Bucky what Zola did to them all in the lab. Bucky couldn't talk about it...

6 - over Christmas 1943, before being deployed back to the continent, the Howlies were sent on intense specialised training in the coastal village of Aberdyfi in North Wales, under the auspices of a secretly all Jewish troop of Continental-European Commandos, called X Troop.

7 - because Monty was in with all the right chaps in the Old Boys network, he was able to give Steve et al insight into a lot of the political goings on behind the scenes in the British forces, give him a hint on which of the English intelligence-officers to dismiss due to incompetence, nepotism hiring, etc. Monty once took Steve and Bucky to the London Ritz, where the basement bar was a gay club. 👀

8 - during missions in France the Howlies met Virginia Hall, Noor Inayat Khan (Morita proposed to her while drunk), Logan Howlett (an old war buddy of Dum-Dum's), and Ernest Hemingway (whom they did not think much of: despite being just a journalist, he was waving a handgun around trying to 'liberate' the Paris Ritz... which had been long abandoned by the Nazis by the time he got there.)

9 - while filming movies as part of his USO tour, Steve was biletted at a place called Fort Roach, California, where the US Army Air Force's First Motion Picture Unit was making animated war-propaganda short movies for cinemas. While there, he got Bucky a signed animation-cell of 'Trigger Joe' and met (and punched) some actor guy called Donald Reagan??

10 - During the Allied Invasion of Sicily, the Howlies met three Brits who were introduced to Steve later on, in London. In the modern-day, Steve was delighted to discover that two of them had gone on to become famous actors after the war: one of them starred in Star Wars and another -- still alive -- in Lord of the Rings. He and Christopher Lee kept in touch (Bucky and CL agree that it's great they got the stabbing-noises right in the movies). It blew Tony's mind when he found Steve listening to an advance copy of a heavy metal album, that his 'buddy Chris' had sent him from England. Bucky kind of had a crush on him back in the day... (The third Brit the Howlies met in Sicily was 'Mad Jack' Churchill, of broadsword, longbow and bagpipe fame; Bucky wrote his Scottish dad a delighted letter about it).

11 - Steve and the guys once had to physically restrain Bucky from punching General Patton, during one of their morale-boosting visits to a Field Hospital. (One of the guys at this particular hospital had just had his leg blown off. And Bucky made sure Steve visited in his dirtied combat gear, and not looking immaculate, because he remembered how demoralising it was for bedridden pre-serum Steve if Bucky waltzed in looking all dapper, while Steve was feeling his worst.) The punishment for this incident was the Howlies having to let news crews follow them around for a week, filming propaganda newsreels.

12 - they also repeatedly got in trouble for damaging historic churches in Germany ('accidentally' blowing off the antisemitic Judensau carvings) and loitering in Nazi-occupied areas to put up anti-Nazi graffiti on public buildings (Steve loved exercising the old artistic muscles again.)

13 - after the war, Gabe became a leading light of the Civil Rights Movement in the South. He was once present for one of the Winter Soldier's assassinations in Manhattan, but didn't see who was responsible. (In another universe, where Isaiah Bradley escaped a lot sooner and managed to get to Macon, GA, he and Gabe teamed up to become a sort of Holmes-and-Watson vigilante duo.)

14 - Steve's tactical innovation for the D-Day Landings was to imitate the testudo or shield-wall formation of Roman legions. By standing at the front of one of the LCVPs as it hit the beach, holding a massive piece of steel as a shield, he was able to lead Bucky and the boys (plus 30 others, carrying a second giant shield) safely up the beach, plant the steel-shield, and then retreat to repeat this with each incoming landing craft. This was bastardised in a famous war movie, where Steve McQueen's Captain America simply did an Evel Knievel motorcycle jump over the fortifications to land on the German guns. Everyone is disappointed when Steve has to tell them he never did this. (Bucky keeps telling everyone he did... 🤦‍♀️🙄)

Okay, so someone pointed something really interesting and here's a new theory

Since they tuned off the answer option and answered to my post with hashtags I couldn't answer to them and I don't know if they wanted to... But I need to talk about it. (If you see this and want me to mention you just say so in the replies 😸)

(I put the link on my first theory for those who see this post first and don't understand why I'm so sure crime and punishment are two personalities)

And here is the answer I got to the theory :

It's exactly as explained here, sigma has a unique chance of getting something from fyodor, and fyodor knows it. He also knows that his alter gave sigma new pieces of intel about himself and the knife. And fyodor's blabbering and proposition/intimidation to take the info by touching him (i didn't mention it but he says at last "if you have the courage to do it, that is...") has obviously for goal to perturb and scare sigma as I said before, but i don't think he will waver this easily.

Sigma was told by dazai what information to take before, and it is fyodor's plan for the airport, and he let it slip while talking to fyodor in chap 107. But now he has two more choices...

That's while thinking about this that I told myself : wouldn't it be in fyodor's interest to keep sigma's focus on something else than the airport..?

That would lead to a possible 'faking of a dissciative personality disorder' and a 'it's really a guard's knife' theory but the thing with 僕 and ぼくis something we can notice because it's written, orally, it's unnoticable, so it's probably a hint asagiri left us and I won't go this way.

However, Sigma DID find the memo on the floor. The new fyodor didn't know when (in term of timeline) he had appeared, so he didn't do it. Which means fyodor dropped the memo. Do you really think he'd drop something as important as a trigger to his second personality? Well, I don't. And even if it's in this chapter that sigma told him that his goal is the airport intel, fyodor could have just expected it, or at least expected dazai would be able to make sigma join the agency's side and make him get an intel with his ability. So the whole interraction can very well be intentional from fyodor to get sigma's focus on his alter and the knife.

It goes the same way for the knife. I wrote in my precedent post that he tried to get sigma to think of something else than the knife and blabbered and lied... but what if he didn't panic? What if he told a obvious lie to actually get sigma to focus on the knife instead of the airport?

I think sigma is capable of doubting the "it's a guard's knife" and I think fyodor does too. So what if that was deliberate? That makes much more sense. Cause these two pieces of intel are very important as they both can end fyodor in some way, but honestly? Even if the knife is real and sigma confirmes it with his ability, he still need to take it, and stab fyodor with it. As for the airport, fyodor couldn't do a thing to stop the info of getting to the agency... Well, he could kill sigma (and I hope not) but that's way harder to keep in hand somehow.

So yeah, fyodor IS manipulating sigma, but not by faking a DID... He doesn't need to fake since he just has to make sigma show him a trigger to see the real thing and accomplishing his goal anyway?

So what will it be? What will sigma chose to know?

I deleted some unfinished fics that kept haunting me. it's sad, but I felt bad whenever I opened AO3

What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic? untranslatable things like suffixes are okay imo, and sometimes when two characters speak in a language that's foreign to the one from whose POV it's written for example, then it makes sense - otherwise I think it's not good for the reader's flow.

What’s a fandom/ship you haven’t written for yet but want to? there are quite a few, I want to write something about the snow boys (as I call them XD) from My journey to you, Luo Mingxi/Linlang (Legend of Anle), mmmmmaybe Ning Yuanzhou/Yu Shisan (A journey to love), and I still haven't written Yuan Lang/Lize Palace Leader (Love and Redemption) even though they are very dear to me!!! they are so complicated and one of them doesn't have a name ffs :(

Hi, I really like reading your meta so I wanted to know your thoughts on sth I've read recently on a social platform :) Some people come up with stupid ideas to shit on a character when it's in their favor. For example, I was reading an analysis of Levi's character where the poster was dissecting his goals, personality traits, etc panel by panel. The dude came to chapter 107 where Kyomi tells Historia she has to bear children for the sake of the island and was like "notice how Levi isn't even present in such an important gathering. He's the captain and is also supposed to be Hanji's right-hand man just like how he was always present when Erwin was around as the commander but now through this whole flashback, it's showing us how his role is getting paler as if he doesn't care to be present at such important events which are necessary for the island's future" or "when Hanji and Levi went to negotiate with Hizuro, he was so easily convinced/prepared to sacrifice Historia when Eren asked him if they have no other choice but to do that, again as if he doesn't care that much about Historia which we following the later chaps we see more proof of this in 112 where he says they should feed Zeke to Historia so that he can kill the monkey"

May I ask you to share your own analysis on these two matters this dude mentioned? To me, they all sound like a very narrow-minded opinions of Levi's deep character but I would like to read your thoughts too. Thank you!

Hello. There is not much meta about this imo. It's pretty simple if you have been following Levi's character and understood his role in the corps. He Respects the chain of command and follows orders.

When Erwin was talking to Pixis about overthrowing the government, he was elsewhere, doing something else. I believe same was during the meeting. He simply had other duties to attend to.

As for him not caring, he is simply following orders. He Did care about Historia's own opinion, because if you remember, he said "If Historia agrees, we will feed Zeke to her if she is ready". He wouldn't *force her*. But SHE was the one who agreed to do that and Levi, as a mature person accepts this.

I do not see this as Levi "being sidelined" more than before the TS as he was Never the one to make Major strategic decisions, except when he was authorized to do so.
