I did up an illustration like Bloom's for Aisha in her Enchantix form. For some reason, I misremembered her having water powers?? It was a slight shock when I rewatched some OG episodes and remembered her powers were Morphix. They're still water based powers, so I think the pose I chose to go with kinda still works for her 😅

Second part of my Winx redesign project. Here's the rest of the team! As said in the previous post, these are style and costuming exploration more than final designs, I plan on making all of them look more cohesive with each other and more fairy like.
Musa: I wanted her to have a playful energy, to look like the kind of girl who can't stay still and is a little mischeavous, so i made her the shortest since i'm a sucker for little gremlins. Her styling is what real Y2K style was, shape focused, cut-outs in random places, pleather and shiny fabrics with a little 60's influence. Basically: a late 90's popstar/dancer.
Tecna: She's got a squarish built to reflect her more rigid and logical nature. I always found her original fit to be extremely unique, so i really wanted to emphasize more the idea of a futuristic suit. My main inspiration were sci-fi movies and videogames, retro spaceman suits and modern superheroes.
Aisha: Hourglass figure for a beatiful siren! She's solid and strong but not in an hard and severe way, more like a gentle big sister type. Since she's the fairy of waves, i did go in the obvious "mermaid" direction (i can't help it, i'm a fan of mermaids) with pearls, shells, beads and scales etc... Also: drapy and soft fabrics! No rigidness in this house!

Aisha/Layla
I was so in love with her hair and outfit as a child. I even had a doll
Carter and Sadie Kane
I've read other Riordan's books (PJO and HoO basically) but TKC is my favorite series by him. Its lead characters are mixed kids Carter and Sadie Kane. Sadie passes for white but Carter does not. He's the big brother and the more mature of the two. After infortunate events they find themselves alone to deal with a terrifying world and powers they're learning to master. The story heavily relies on Egyptian myths and is quite fun despite some dark undertones. Carter's sensible, doesn't know how to talk to his quite hostile crush and loves his sister dearly even if he finds her annoying at time. One of the best depiction of siblings' relationship I've ever seen
