Hi, i would love to read about adult lestappen having another inchident

I got three prompts, all of them are Lestappen and two of them are about the inchident. Lestappen days ahead I guess. 😃

l don't think you were thinking about this kind of inchident but I wanted to deep dive in the mpreg world again (I had been writing mpreg stories for years when I was writing in Hungarian and now I miss it a bit but I didn't know how to start writing about it in this fandom. And then came this idea.) so I wrote this little angsty inchident story. I know I said in the post that I don't do sad end but that means I don't write death or anything like that. So angsty sad ends still can happen, like this. If you want a second, happier chapter, please tell me. 😊

Max didn't notice the small tear on the condom when he took it off to throw it out after the amazing sex they'd just had. Charles was spread out on the bed and all Max could think about was giving him the best ever aftercare as the cherry on the top. Charles deserved it.

Charles needed one race victory to seal the championship when he sensed the disaster coming. He wasn't feeling very well all day but he was well enough to race. Until the second half of the race because that was when the first sign of stomach problems came. He was sweating even more than usual, he felt like he needed to puke. 

“Track limits on turn 1,” came the message from Xavi on the team radio. “Keep it between the white lines, please. Last warning before black and white flag.”

“Copy,” he said, fighting with the awful feelings in his body. It was really difficult for him to control the car, he could feel Max closing the gap. Charles couldn't let him overtake. He needed to win the race, there was no other option. Not now when it mattered the most. 

“Charles, is everything all right?” Xavi asked when he noticed the negative change in Charles' lap time. Charles pressed the radio button but at the beginning, his engineer could only hear his fast and shallow breathing. 

“I... I need to... I...” Charles wanted to say but he couldn't because he had to fight with the severe nausea. He couldn't control the car, he got the black and white flag and Max was dangerously close to overtaking him. His worst nightmare came alive when he couldn't hold the puking back anymore. Luckily he was able to stop the car on the grass next to the track so he wouldn't cause any accidents. 

“Charles, are you all right?” came the message again but he couldn't answer. He needed to take his helmet off now because it made him disgusting and claustrophobic. “Charles, please push any button on the steering wheel if you can hear me.” Charles did what Xavi asked and then got out of the car and took his helmet off. As soon as he stepped away from the car, the nausea overcame him and he puked on the grass. He needed to rest his hands on his knees as he tried to control his breathing. He wanted to cry. It couldn't be real. Fucking not.

After the podium ceremony and the post-race interviews, Max's first thing to do was to check Charles on at the medical center. He was worried about him because he didn't know what happened exactly as GP only told him Charles was out of the race but there wasn't any accident. It wasn't until the interviews that he got to know that Charles wasn't feeling well enough to be able to finish the race. It made Max worry even more because Charles didn't tell him about not feeling well enough to race. 

When he arrived at the medical center, a Ferrari lady stopped him to go to Charles. She was shielding him like something very very serious happened. 

“Please, I need to see him,” Max tried to stay calm and hoped they would let him in, but the lady didn't move. “I am his b—,” Max almost said but stopped when he realized they were keeping their relationship secret. But there was also the fact that they haven't talked about what to do when something like this happens and they want to see each other. 

“We're going to tell him you're here but you need to wait because the doctor is still examining him.”

“Still?” Max asked, eyes widening because it's been an hour since Charles got taken there, “Is it something serious?

“I'm sorry but I can't tell you anything about it.”

“Fuck, I—,” he wanted to argue but he also knew it wouldn't lead anywhere so he just sighed and waited, hoping it wasn't anything serious, they just wanted to be sure.

“He's asking for Verstappen,” said another Ferrari team member to the lady standing in front of the door. Max looked up. 

“You can now go in but everything you see and he tells you is a secret. Do you understand?” 

Max nodded. “I do.”

Then they let him go in. Max ran to Charles when he saw him lying on the examining bed, half-dried tears on his face, eyes red from crying. 

“Hey, Charlie,” he said, calmly, and took Charles' hand and kissed his forehead. “How are you feeling? Nothing serious, right?”

Charles shook his head and started crying again. “I puked in my helmet and I had to stop and now I can't race and it's all your fucking fault, Max!” Charles said angrily as took his hand away from Max's. “Don't fucking touch me!”

“What the fuck Charles?!” Max asked, surprised about Charles' reaction. 

“I'm fucking pregnant, Max,” Charles blurted out, “and I just lost the championship because of your shit-ass quality condom. It's all because of you!”

Max couldn't believe what he just heard. “Wait—Are you—Are you really pregnant?” Max asked, reaching to put his hand on Charles' stomach but his boyfriend stopped him. 

“Don't fucking touch me!” he shouted, making the Ferrari lady poke her head into the room to check on them. “It's okay,” Charles said to her, “he'll be gone soon.”

“What the fuck man?!”

“I hate you, Max,” Charles turned to him again. “You took everything away from me. Everything. If I keep the b—”

“You are of course going to keep it.”

“That's not your fucking decision, Max. My body, my decision. And I want this championship. I fought for it, I gave everything for it. You have like six titles, I have zero, Max.”

Max shook his head. He couldn't believe this. “You cannot be this selfish.”

“I can't be?” Charles asked, “Mate, you're the selfish one here. Go the fuck away. I don't need you after this.”

It was like a stab in the heart for Max. He took a step back and just stood there, looking at Charles, especially his stomach. He's pregnant. Fuck, he's pregnant. Pregnant with Max's baby. And now Max fucked everything up. 

“Please do not take them away from me, Charles. Please. You cannot kill—”

“Go the fuck away, now!” Charles shouted at him, tears washing his face. 

Max tried to swallow the knot in his throat as tears filled his eyes. He nodded and turned to the door but before leaving the room, he looked back at Charles. “I love you and I'm sorry. It is of course your body and your decision. If you ever want to talk to me again, please call or text and then we can meet somewhere. Take care of yourself and the baby too,” Max said, heart breaking into pieces, as he wiped the tears off before leaving the room. 

Getting the lead in the championship has never been more heartbreaking.

omg merc charles au… love it. i think lewis would be happy to have his seat replaced by charles if he retired because he has said he respects charles a lot for actually earning his seat which was rare these days (he’s shady for that 💀) and that he sees a lot of himself in charles. i feel like if george saw this he’d be really catty and jealous about it which adds to the dynamic you have going on here

there's a bunch of things i'm not entirely sure about regarding how lewis would interact with the story, but he would be happy for charles, yeah! he respects charles a lot, would support him at one point (can't go into that without spoiling it, im afraid), and definitely roots for him to do well! george is... well, i like bullying him a little (or a lot), so all i'll say is that he won't have the greatest time with charles being his teammate :)

y/n_russell to clear some things up: obviously george isn't always happy with how lando and i present our relationship (online or not) but that doesn't mean he hates lando?! i'm his little sister, it's natural he doesn't always enjoy what lando and i do. nonetheless, lando and george have been friends for ages! this was literally them on our shared holiday in '23! carmen and i were third-wheeling the whole time lol. george can sometimes be a little cold but that's just how he processes things, it doesn't mean he's not supportive of my relationship with lando. please respect that.

This prompt fits really well to Broken Hearts and Broken Dreams in my charles wdc au tag so I kinda wrote it in a way it can be a third chapter to it but it can also be a single-chapter story. I hope you'll like it! 😊 (Also, please forgive me my one sentence of Google Translate Italian...)

“Il Predestinato, sei il campione del mondo!” Xavi screamed on the radio after Charles crossed the line on the last race of the season, “Charles Leclerc, you're the world champion! What a race, what a season, what a driver!”

“Oh my Goooood!” Charles screamed, tears filling his eyes, not waiting long until running down his cheeks. “We're back on the top, guys, we're back! Oh my God! I can't believe it! Thank you so much to everyone on the team, I couldn't have done this without you, guys. This is for everyone, team! I'm proud of you all. Thank you so much!” Charles said, his heart filled with emotions, struggling to put his thoughts together as he drove the car back to the pits after the cool-down lap. He couldn't believe he's finally reached his goal, his dream. World Champion with Ferrari. The Predestined put it all together and brought Ferrari back where they belong. The stars aligned and he was there.

“Did you see the fireworks?” Xavi asked before Charles got out of the car. “They're for you, Charles. Enjoy!”

“Unbelievable,” Charles said, smiling under the helmet as he prepared to get out, “Thank you so much!

As he got out of the car and stood on it to celebrate, pointing to the Ferrari logo on his suit over his heart, the cheer of the fans and the team became even louder than it was on the cool-down lap. They filled his heart with pride.

“Il Predestinato!” Daniel exclaimed when he went to Charles after getting out of his Red Bull at the third place spot, “Congratulations, mate!”, he said, pulling Charles into a bone-crushing hug, “Incredible season, incredible driver. Well deserved, Charles. Be proud of yourself, this one's for you.”

“Thank you, mate,” Charles smiled as he hugged back, “Oh my God, this is incredible, I can't believe it.”

When they let go of the hug, Max congratulated him too, first without words, only with a hug because he wasn't sure what to say. It hurt that he couldn't win but he was also incredibly proud of Charles because he raced clean, with almost zero mistakes all season and their battles were really enjoyable, they made Max fall in love with this sport again. It's not the same without having strong competitors to race with. And now he had one, again, after years of domination. It hurt him to lose but things change, the focus changes, and the better one wins. And this time it was Charles.

“Are you okay?” Charles asked when Max still hadn't said anything but kept hugging him.

“Yeah, sorry,” Max said almost too quietly for Charles to hear, “Congratulations, Charles. I always knew you would of course be a world champion one day. This is the day. You were amazing, it was very lovely to race with you,” Max said, squeezing Charles' shoulder, “I can't wait for you to step on the top of the podium and shine, I promise it will be an amazing feeling.”

Charles smiled and when Max let him go, he ran to the team to celebrate with them before heading to the interviewer to do the post-race interview and then to the cool-down room to wait there until they could go to the podium.

All the hugs, shoulder pats, touch, congratulations, and everything made him feel so loved and appreciated he couldn't even believe it. It was almost like he was waiting to wake up from this dream, but it wasn't a dream, it was the long awaited reality, the result of all the hard work, blood, sweat, and tears. He put everything in this season. Everything. And it was worth it.

A few minutes later they were standing on the podium, the Monegasque anthem just started and that was when Charles couldn't hold the tears back anymore. With his hand over his heart, he looked up to the sky, thinking about his father and Jules. He did this for them, too, because without them he couldn't be there today. He didn't care about the tears anymore, he didn't wipe them off. This moment was for the emotions.

After they've got the trophies, Max and Daniel gave an incredible champagne shower to Charles, it looked like he was bathing in holy water. When Max and Daniel stopped for a moment to drink, it was Charles' time to get revenge on them. First on Daniel because he was closer, and then he moved on to his boyfriend.

“I heard you like the champagne shower, Max!” Charles laughed when Max turned his back to him, not wanting the shower in his face.

“He likes it,” Daniel agreed, joining Charles, “But you know what he likes more? This,” Daniel said while getting his shoes off, to fill it with the rest of his champagne.

“Charles needs to drink the first one,” Max stated, looking at Charles as he sprayed the fans and the team under the podium.

Max didn't care about his second place anymore. Seeing Charles this happy meant everything to him.

“The shoey is here for the world champion,” Daniel said, showing it to Charles.

“Oh my God,” Charles exclaimed, laughing, “I can't escape it anymore.”

“Yeah,” Daniel nodded, “It's time to try it. Max has the other one,” Daniel gave his other shoe to Max, “Make this one an epic moment.”

Daniel didn't need to say more, Charles looked at Max, Max nodded, and then both of them drank the champagne from Daniel's shoes while Daniel stood behind them like a wedding officiant. The champagne tasted awful but it still was a big thing for them.

“Now you have to drink one, too,” Charles told Daniel when he gave back the shoe. “You need to suffer with us.”

“It's not even that bad,” Daniel laughed before drinking out the last few drops of champagne from his shoe. At that moment he knew Charles was right, because yes, it indeed was suffering. Stinky and sweaty champagne. Delicious. But they all laughed and that was the point of it. Enjoying the moment.

And Charles enjoyed the whole night that day, celebrating with the team, partying, and then going home to his family with Max for a few calmer days. He needed it after all the celebrations.

One night, at Charles' apartment, Charles and Max celebrated together, in the most beautiful way possible, by making love. It wasn't fucking like what they usually do. No, it was making love. There's a difference and Max wanted to show this to Charles because special occasions require special treatment.

And even though they didn't know back then, they put the cherry on the top of their journey, because a few weeks later Charles started experiencing symptoms he has already experienced once back in the season. But this time it was happy news for them.

Before the winter testing, both Charles and Max shocked the world by announcing their retirement, revealing their relationship and, at the same time, also announcing that they're going to have a baby.

They both achieved what they wanted in this sport, it was now time to start a family.

Canada made me so sad but I am hopeful and whatever happens, I will follow Logan to whatever sport he moves to.

I can absolutely expand on that.

When Oscar and Logan first started karting, some of the drivers would come out to support them. They were disguised as to not take attention away from the kids but Logan and Oscar knew who they were. Max was one of the ones who would go out consistently to cheer them on and provide that positive validation he never got as a kid.

He gets more involved when Alex and George have to fly back to England but Logan has school, practices, and a race to attend. Oscar, Lando, and Carlos are sick so Max jumps in and offers to watch Logan for them. His flat is just him, Charles, and their pets and Logan is quite comfortable with animals.

So Logan stays with Max for 2 weeks as Charles has media duties in Maranello. Logan is surprisingly good with the pets and they seem to like him enough to sleep on him- they are not allowed in at night out fear they will suffocate him and Max cannot have that on his soul.

Is Logan old enough to shove them off?

Yes. Does Max have anxiety? Yeah.

Max drives him to school and then to the track for practice sessions. He’s instructing him where to brake, what he did wrong on a turn, why he spun out and what to look out for. Max is free to maxplain and Logan soaks it up like a sponge.

Before the race, he’s checking the helmet, the kart, making sure Logan remember his lessons and then send him off. He’s cheering on the sidelines, anxious when a kid in a similar white helmet spins out, angry and calling for a black flag on another kid’s reckless maneuver.

“You got everything? Your helmet is in tight?” Max checked just in case. “Do you remember everything I taught you?”

Logan nodded. “Go wide on turn 1 and brake later on turn 3. Be careful of exiting turn 5.”

“Good job! You’ll do great!” Max gave a high-five.

Max’s heart sinks when he sees a blue kart and a white helmet spin off the track and his the wall. He watches as a red flag is called and breathes a sigh of relief when he seen a white helmet and blue kart come into pit.

Max was going to march down there and yell at an organizer as some kid tried to run Logan off the track. There should’ve been a black flag two laps ago.

“That’s a black flag. Are you blind? He’s shoved two kids into the gravel already!”

When they’re driving back home, Max says, “Logan, next time someone does that. You run him off the track you hear me. It might ruin your race but it’ll teach him a lesson.”

Logan places 1st and Max is ecstatic and sending photos to the official GPDA group chat.

After those two weeks and Logan placing 1st in both races, Max, unofficially, has taken him under his wing. Charles comes back, competitive and unhappy that Max has become a favorite, take Oscar under his tutelage.

Alex finds Logan’s admiration of Max adorable but is a little jealous. George is very jealous since he’s also won a WDC but Logan doesn’t listen to him.

Lewis is a bit concerned that Max and Charles mentoring Logan and Oscar might lead to some unhealthy competition like from when they were children.

Max is your typical gamer nerd with loser humour who would've never been popular if he were a normal kid in highschool, let alone be on the radar of Popular Hot Guy Charles Leclerc, but because he's a famous F1 driver, he has Charles laughing at his jokes and falling at his feet, and realizing how attractive Max actually is.

i do agree with that. if max wasn't an f1 driver, he'd probably just be a sim racing streamer with a very normal civil day job.

HOWEVER, there's this very funny scenario which i've seen in some au's where charles still is charles leclerc, the scuderia ferrari f1 driver, and max is not. BUT charles still remains "down bad loser by association". just for max. max who has no rizz. no wdc titles. no formula 1 backstory. he's just a guy.
