Omg thank you so much, I'm so so glad you liked it!! Honestly I'm obsessed with the idea of Elijah having somebody he can love and trust and lean on for that long. Like, he's very much Klaus' support for those thousand years, but that doesn't usually go both ways for them in their relationship, so it's fun to think about the bond between Elijah and somebody he could lean on as much as they lean on him. Odds that it shows up again in a future Elijah fic of mine are high 😂
