Lying there, tangled in the sheets Cassidy gazed up at the ceiling recollecting over each moment of bliss the two shared.  A sadness fell upon him with knowledge he would have to get up and go back to reality.  He stretched the moment between them as long as he could, not ready to face the world.  But, like all good things it had to come to an end.  Cassidy rolled to his side and cupped the side of Jesse’s face as he gazed down at the spent man.  He softly brushed his lips against the other, “I have to go.”  Cassidy murmured between their lips before kissing him gently.  “I’ll text you.”

With those words, he gathered his belongings and made himself presentable to the world outside of Jesse’s room.  For the first two days, while at work Cassidy would get overly excited anytime he received a text to only be disappointed the name Asshole didn’t pop up on his screen.  Of course, he was the one who offered to text.  But, the general rule is you wait three days before reaching out and he went by it.

Day three approached, Cassidy fiddled back and forth between different greetings. Eventually, he settled on one word.  Hard to misinterpret one word.  And what could go wrong?

[TEXT]: Hey

Hours passed, nothing.

Days passed, nothing.

Maybe he didn’t receive it?  The thought occurred to Cassidy, but it showed it was delivered.  In his mind, it would be mortifying to send another to only be ignored a second time.  Last thing he wanted was to appear desperate.

So like any sane person, he headed out to Deadman Acres to check in on the other man.  Maybe Jesse was hurt?  Perhaps something happened to the other during all the craziness of the movie night event.  These were the things he kept telling himself, making excuses for another person not to reply to a simple text.

As he approached the trailer, there was a dawning realization.  A second text or even a fucking phone call would have been simpler.  But as someone who spent most of his time in his head, he often made things far more complicated than they needed to be.

And there it was, a sale sign and the truck hitched ready to leave town.

An array of emotions swirled inside him, there was a reason why twelve step programs frown down on sexual relations during the first year.  All those times of numbing himself, he now suddenly felt an intensity of emotions that he could hardly sort through.  And, he knew he needed to call his sponsor.  But that also meant admitting things he wanted to bury now.

Just as he was trying to get a grip of being ghosted, the fucker had the audacity to step outside.  What kind of bullshit was this?

“Fuck me,” he mumbled under his breath as he took in a ragged breath deciding it was best just to turn around and walk away.  Maybe Jesse hadn’t seen him yet.  Perhaps he could salvage what was left of his dignity.

ive been thinking abt teo and brainrotted like what if callboy/callgirl/callperson (?) reader person thing and teo is havin a moment and calls them up 🙏 does it make sense probably not but in my heart

✦゜ANSWERED: Realistically, I don't think Teo would need to resort to a callperson because he's already got an extensive list of people willing to "help him out". If he needs some company, he'll simply call up one of his regular hookups and go down the list until someone responds lmao

And if Teo already knew Angel was a callperson, I actually think he'd find it more fun to annoy them rather than book their services ^^; Things like htting up their line to see if anyone else has called, talking about the most random topics to waste their time, asking how much their services are before telling them they should pay him for his time, etc.

And while Teo would 100% pay a callperson for their services, he'd prefer if they did "it" out of their own volition instead (and not because it's their job or they need clients). He only has hookups/one night stands with people who are genuinely attracted to him and want to sleep with him, so if he knew Angel only showed interest in him as a way to make money, he might not see fully the appeal. But if they approached Teo with a genuine request to sleep with him — with no strings attached — then he'd happily agree.

|| 🍍• Earthspark has done it again. I’m crying. I love them all. A few very important points that elucidate the continuing strength of its narrative.

Incorporating Grimlock’s mind control as a metaphor for PTSD, and showcasing triggers.

Showcasing triggers in other characters.

Having the Maltos continually analyse all sides of issues they face (ethical/moral choices), for example when debating how to deal with Shockwave.

Having Hashtag acknowledge that Megatron (now an Autobot) once treated Starscream horrifically, and letting him know that he can talk about how hurt he’s been and be heard.

Combating the difficult topics of loss and anxiety (especially through the eyes of a child).

Discussing issues of self-esteem from a believable perspective by incorporating the use of feminism, sexism, and unity.

I’ve probably missed loads of important points from the new episode release and the conclusion of Season 1, but this show continues to not shy away from real-world topics. It’s real. It’s believable. And it’s not ashamed to be what it is.

It still baffles me endlessly how this series became under scrutiny in the media several months ago for being real. For having a character be real and authentic for themselves - a character with such an endearing outlook on life and exuberantly layered personality come under fire and scorned solely upon how they wish to be perceived. I hope this new instalment helps eradicate these issues, moving forth to educate and strengthen hope for many more great episodes for transformers fans and children everywhere.
