Hi guys, just another little heads up: I'm gone for the day. I've been talking with a few people, and I'm gonna go to Alola for the day. If you know what's happening, i know it's irresponsible and dangerous. My mind is made up. Also, yes, i know this is kinda insane, but Cheese is fucking strong. She'll be flying me over. (Yes we've practiced) I doubt she'll make the trip back TODAY, but I'll be back tomorrow.

In the meantime, Olivia and Cream will be tending to the café as usual. (and please keep your fucked up orders to a minimum, thanks.)

So I uh, got an emulator for my iPad. And I’m playing Herat Gold. 14 years after falling in love with Soul Silver.

Am I just recreating the same team from college? Yes. Am I treating them like fun little alternate universe variants of my beloved ss team? Also yes.

Important Two Nickels moment though: back in X I had a Marill for 5 minutes bc I was struggling to evolve it from an azurill and by the time I got the marill it then went straight into azumaril. Well just now in hg I preemptively gave zubat a soothe bell and well…5 minute golbat lmfao.

Pelipper mail: A pair of pumpkin cupcakes, with cream cheese frosting.

Also, a treat for your crobat! Sitrus and clauncher pate, with a sort of thickened fruit pulp for the icing. It's falling apart slightly, but tastes of pecha berries and something else. There's a sort of squished piece of berry on top, half sunken into the icing.

what is the silliest thing each of your pokemon did

Houndoom - Chased around a block of cheese in my office for over an hour. He only stopped because my Honchkrow flew off with it.

Honchkrow - I left the office to give a speech to the rest of Team Galactic. Upon my return I found him 1/3 of the way into a drawer in my desk. I do not know how or why he tried to fit into there, but he attempted it. It took me five minutes to help him out. It did not help that he kept trying afterward. I had to bird-proof all the doors in that room.

Crobat - Enjoys sitting inside boxes much like a cat Pokémon. Whenever I receive I package he will immediately fly toward it and attempt to pay inside of it. He likes it better when I carry him around in them.

Gyarados - Shuffles through my documents and pretends to be doing my work for me. He enjoys mimicking myself in general...

Weavile - Ran around the entirety of Galactic Headquarters with Jupiter's wallet in his mouth, for some reason. We had to have everyone chase after him.

Chimecho - Hangs beside my office's door and rings whenever somebody enters.

Hatenna - Attacks rulers. Absolutely despises them. Any ruler-shaped object, for that matter.

✈ - an eye-opening memory

You walk over to the table where the grownups are playing. There's an open spot next to your mom, so you put your mac and cheese down in front of it and sit down to eat. You get a wave from Miss Lovrina across the table, but other than that everyone seems to be concentrated on the game.

"You're not getting away with this!" Mister Gorigan slams his fist on the table, making your spoon rattle in the bowl as he glares at Mister Ein behind his screen. "Once we get back to Solrock Valley, everyone's going to know about your plans!"

Mister Ein tilts his head, smirking.

"Are they, little Rhyhorn? Or maybe I should ask..."

He breaks eye contact, and there's the sound of him picking up and rolling a few dice, followed by a small chuckle as he returns his gaze.

"Are you?"

There's a pause, then your dad speaks.

"I take a few steps closer to him. Hey, hey? What's that supposed to mean? We're going home and telling everyone you're not who you say you are!"

Mom grimaces. "I think that means we're not going home, puff..."

"That's correct, little Jigglypuff."

Mister Ein reaches around the screen, placing eleven small Zubat figures around the ones that represent your parents' and their friends' characters.

"Oh, fff..." Mister Dakim stops, looking at you for a moment. "Fudge!"

Miss Lovrina scowls. "Your minions are just Zubat? C'mon, Crobat! That's not even gonna be a challenge for adventurers like us!"

Mister Snattle frowns. "Are you sure you should be tempting fate like that, Luvdisc?"

"Tempting fate? C'mon, Bagon, what's the worst thing that could happen?"

Mister Ein chuckles again, adding three Haunter figures behind the party...

I can never just choose my favorite Pokemon because there's so many of them and I love so many of them (not sandyghast, though) so I'll just go over my favorite of each type:

Electric: Pichu, because I am a sucker for cute stuff and because Pichu in melee was the reason I got into Pokemon in the first place (I never really cared for 'monsters' and my ten-year-old brain couldn't tell the difference between pokémon, Digimon, Yu-Gi-Oh or whatever, so I probably wouldn't have ever picked up pokemon x if I had seen how frickin adorable pokémon could be)

Ice: Alolan Ninetales; electric and ice are actually my two favorite types, and Vulpix is adorable. But I think I like it's evolution just a bit more because it's one of the most fun pokémon to use in battle - it's kinda my go-to support pokemon in showdown

Grass: WEED CAT WEED CAT WEED CAT- also it has a freaking yo-yo?! 10/10 design, the yo-yo more than justifies it standing up.

Water: Mudkip. Need I say more?

Fire: Litten. What can I say, I saw the sun and moon trailer and my first thought was 'i want the fire cat'. And then incinaroar took over vgc.

Normal: I freaking love Furret.

Flying: togekiss, it's cute and fun, so long as it isn't stuck with my single least favorite ability in the franchise, hustle. Serene grace is more than good enough to make up for that, though

Bug: Ninjask, definitely one that grew on me, it tends to be overshadowed by it's more gimmicky counterpart, but man, sometimes you just want to GO FAST. Honestly, I originally only had it on my emerald team so I could get a Shedinja to potentially cheese something later, but I never took it off my team because I was having so much fun with it.

Poison: Bulbasaur, largely because of how busted it is in gen one. It's not that special anywhere else, and on another day I might say crobat or Galarian Slowbro, but the best part of going back to the gen one games is breaking them, and oh boy does Bulbasaur do that.

Fighting: Lucario, definitely. There are a bunch of contenders for second place, but Lucario is really cool, has a cute lil baby form, and the one fighting type I can give a special set and not call a joke (sorry special Machamp, you tried your best).

Ground: Quagsire, because it's really fun to use, and Wooper is awesome.

Psychic: Wobbuffet -There are so many great psychic type Pokemon, in no small part because they keep making psychic type legendary Pokemon, but like. Team Rocket make my brain happy.

Rock: Omanyte, because if I don't I will be charged with heresy.

Dragon: Zekrom- I don't use sudo-legandaries often, so that honestly might be skewing my judgement, but dang it Zekrom is so freaking cool - helps the black and white are so good that they actually make the cover legendaries cool through the story. (And it's an electric type, so again, bias). Kyrum might have taken the spot for a lot of the same reasons, but I honestly just don't like it's design as much.

Dark: Absol- fun to use, a great design, and one of the best Dex lores in the series. Also mystery dungeon, my only criticism is that they don't use absol enough.

Steel: Tinkaton- this might be recency bias, but I don't care. You have no idea how much I wanted a good hammer pokemon. And Tinkaton isn't just a GREAT hammer pokemon, it's POPULAR SHADOW THE HEDGEHOG CHARACTER AMY ROSE. And a really cool signature move to boot.

Fairy: Azumarill. I've said it before and I will say it again. Azumarill should be the basis for all pokémon balancing.

Onix type: AHHHNIX!

castelia sewers encounter: zubat with a 27 (!!!!) IV in speed, very excited - i Hate zubat and golbats designs with a passion but crobat is a Friend. his name is fig and hes a lil ugly now but once we become besties its all cool. also zubat is like a billion times better than either grimer or rattata lmao so a W for sure. very likely going to carry burghs gym since the level cap is 24 there

castelia city grassy plaza encounter: did the repel strat in the dark grass and successfully caught my eevee as planned!!! altho my umbreon spdef heavy toxic stall wall dreams were lowkey crushed bc. while he has a boosting nature (sassy boy). the IV is like 0-1 😭😭 rip. well he has a 29 in hp at least. but i think rio the eevee is staying in the box until i have a particular need for a specific eeveelution

i could go into the relic passage already but since the only Really good option there imho is drilbur from the dust clouds w 80% chances and i kinda ran out of repels looking for rio i think ill leave it for now. like as broken as excadrill is i also could get a sandile from route 4 in which case id have a ground type so. will wait for now

roxie was honestly just shamelessly cheesed w fridge the magnemite and sonic boom like. she just has 0 moves to hit a steel type with for anything but tiny baby sized chip dmg so it was pretty free lmao

castelia city obviously means picking up some other essentials like leftovers and mystic water for pat the dewott so thats also neat. leftovers went to fridge (ha ha get it) for now.

think thats all major there o7 so far there havent been any like. true close calls that much but if ik anything abt nuzlockes is that when u start taking it Too easy thats when they get u so 💀 remaining very vigilant even if its probably highly overkill in just a vanilla game. its not even challenge mode lol starting it easy . maybe ill get blaze black in the future if this run goes well for a bigger challenge

I want to get my Crobat and Scolipede some special food treats because we'll be stuck indoors soon, now that the weather is getting colder.

I have standard treats on hand but I REALLY want to treat them. If my normal treats are equivalent to meat and cheese sticks I want this special treat to be a steak dinner with cheesecake!

Well for Scolipede I'd recommend "Mariposa's", it's a brand of gourmet Pokemon treats made specifically for Bug Types. They're small, crunchy balls that come in bright pink boxes, with a Beautifly on the front.

As for Crobat, "Bonemeal Biscuits" are a very popular brand for carnivores! They come individually wrapped in clear packaging, with a big red logo

[ a short video. It's very shaky and the person holding the camera is apparently ducking and scrambling through the café. There are two guests seeking cover under the tables and another one can be seen leaving in a hurry.

The commotion is caused by Cheese, who has snatched the murkrow doll and is fleeing from Cracker, who is angrily screeching at her friend. Caramel is also flying at insane speeds through the frame at some moments, increasing the noise by a deafening humming. The lamps are shaking from all the air movement and shards of broken cups can be seen on the floor. Other Pokémon like Rhubarb and Muffin have taken cover with the Cameraperson. Cream is the only one who is still in the open and tries to calm the chaos down.

After a good minute of this chaos, Bienenstich is entering the room and is letting out a loud scream that seemingly makes time itself stop, until Cheese drops the doll. Bienenstich is walking up to it, picking it up while seemingly berating the flying types. The camera follows her leaving with the doll until it cuts to black after she's out of the frame]

Holy fucking shit. Like, don't get me wrong, i love the gift but that was something. Uh, I'm not quite sure how we're gonna resolve that. Like, if Cheese can keep the doll, or if Bienenstich will or what's gonna happen. I'm gonna clean up now.

Hello Mike! Well, I want to ask you: fav character of pokeani, fav rival, fav travelling companion, fav Pokemon from all generations, fav series, fav tumblr blog, fav tumblr blog for pokeani stuff, and your fav dish!

hi!! thank you for these questions, i didn’t expect this at all haha! let’s see...

fave pokeani character: ash! to no surprise, he’s my favorite! i actually originally made this blog to be specifically an ash fan-blog, but i realized it would’ve really have much content, so i made it a full on pokemon-only blog instead (while also being an ash fan-blog lol). i really love ash’s relationship with pikachu, the way he interacts with pokemon - whether they’re his own or just wild - and i really love his current personality! the way he acts in XY(Z)/SM is so much more mature while still retaining his kid-like goofiness in the latter series

fave rival: i have 2 actually! paul & sawyer. i like paul for the same reasons as everyone else; he had a conflicting personality and training method to ash which was an interesting contrast. it made for some nice interactions and really pushed ash to his limits! i also like sawyer but it was really cool to see a rival of ash look up to him, since XY/Z tended to focus on ash’s friends/rivals being inspired by him, i really enjoyed their interactions and their league battle is one of my all-time favorite battles in the series!

fave traveling companion: my faves are misty, brock, & serena! im an OG person w/ the original trio. can’t say i’ve watched every series, including the first, all the way through like i did w/ XY/Z and am doing with SM but i loved their dynamic and im also kind of a pokeshipper lol. i also like amourshipping though, and serena’s development as a character was amazing! also seeing her design change mid-season was such a nice touch

[a video, taken in Tix' garden, the sun is still out but it is already evening and the sky has taken a slightly yellowish hue. It shows Flit the Beedrill, Cheese the Crobat, and Marbles the Alolan Exeggutor playing some funny version of Volleyball or Tennis. Coffee the Koffing acts as the Ball, being gently tackled by the other Pokémon to change the direction in which he floats. After a minute, the camera pans towards the ground, showing a group of Pokémon sitting near the garden. Basil the Toxtricity can be heard playing a calming melody, Muffint the Budew is sitting in her lap, seemingly asleep. Bienenstich the Scolipede is laying on the ground, the two ultra-domesticated Trubbish also sleeping at her feet. The only Pokémon not visible is Ampersand the Sliggoo, even the ultra-domesticated petilil is peaking from behind a few plants]

I am! I will! As soon as I'm back home i will spend every minute of the day hugging them all!!!

I am so proud of them! Basil and Bienenstich and Poppy were so great yesterday at the raid! They helped calm down so many of the ultra-domesticated Pokémon, and they helped carry them out and I'm so so proud!

And Cheese and Cracker were so incredible, flying me all the way to Alola! I'm so impressed by their strength! (I'll be taking a plane home though, i think Cheese is still a bit tired, which is fair.)

They will be getting hugs and treats and cupcakes and poffins and everything they want!

1, Do they sleep with a stuffed animal? If they have multiple, who’s the favorite? (Asking both)

Tix just run upstairs, so i'll type my answer until they are back. I usually do not sleep with a stuffed animal, but i have a few decorating my room. Sometimes i will take one to bed with me after i had a stressful day. Today might be a candidate for that, after that 17 Alarm smoothie disaster.

My favourites are proably my very cliché stuffed Teddiursa that i've had since i was a child and my Blåchomp that my boyfriend gifted me. I think i'll go with the Origin-Forme Giratina Plush that were sent to Tix and me during that Inbox-Askgame-Event thing tonight though. I might have to channel the distortion world upon that individual. Oh dear, i took off on a tanget, did i not? - Olivia

I don't sleep WITH a suffed Pokémon, i sleep ON a stuffed Pokémon! He is called Leonard, and i love him very much. Rhubarb does too. If it gets to hectic in the café he loves coming up here and just laying on Leonard. I sometimes cuddle with one of the others as well, but most of the time there are actual Pokémon with me. Muffin, sometimes Cream, and Cheese and Cracker also like putting themself on me while i sleep.

woke up a bit early today, so i went outside with Cheese, Cracker and Bienenstich to have a little sparring battle in the woods.

and holy shit, Cheese has some POWERFUL moves. She just needs a little help with hitting sometimes because of her sight issues, but if Cracker is there to help, they make a wonderful team. I guess it was sort of a 2 on 1, but BIenenstich had no chance whatsoever. I feel a little bad for her, not gonna lie.

Before i answer the actual question, a quick clarification: because my new home (the café, i live upstairs) is not as big as I'd like, I don't have all my Pokémon living with me. And because of that, I didn't introduce them yet, which is also true for Loaf. That's also the reason for the construction so I'll have enough space for everyone to live here. (It's gotten pretty cramped, actually, originally i only wanted to bring 4 Pokémon here before i got more space, now it's 8 of them...)

But now to the question:

Coffee (the Koffin): he lives in a basic pokeball. I was thinking about getting him a new one, but he never really cared for it, so i didn't.

Muffin: also a basic one. I, uh, didn't get to go shopping with him yet. He probably would want a different one.

Cream: she lives in a repeat ball. I don't quite remember how that came to be, actually, but it's the one i caught her with.

Basil: quick ball

Poppy: also a quick ball. Both were originally caught in great balls, but for some reason Basil really didn't like it, and Poppy just went along with it.

Bienenstich: a Luxury Ball. It was a gift from dad. At the time, i could never have afforded one.

Cheese (the new Crobat): a basic pokeball. It's what i had around, but I'll definitely go shopping with her soon, so she can decide if she wants a different one. And take Muffin, of course.

Cracker (the new Murkrow): also a basic pokeball, same thing as with Cheese.

And since you asked, I'll share the Pokémon who don't live with me as well:

Loaf (my Trubbish): a heal ball

Carrot Cake (my Clodsire): a primier ball.

Pumpkin (my Bellsprout): a park ball. I bought that ball from a quite shady guy some time back. I don't think they're for sale regularly, but Pumpkin loves it.

Chocco (my salandit): a dusk ball. He's an edgy boy.
