[A video, from the quality, angles and cutting it’s probably a recording of the livestream that was broadcasted on TV

Tix is walking out onto the stage, their outfit is an elaborate mixture between typical flashy contest costumes and the relaxed styled outfits often worn by punks. They wear a flowing top made from some shiny silvery fabric that scatters the light as well as a purposefully torn black and purple skirt and heavy boots. The laces seem to be made from metal and also reflect the light. Their semi-long hair is coloured in black at the front and white at the back. The black part is loose and flows around their face, the white part is tied into a high ponytail. Curiously, they are carrying an electric guitar which has a drapion design. Behind Tix are walking a Toxicroak and a Toxtricity. Both are dressed similarly in a punk outfit. The Toxtricity isn’t wearing much that could be considered a costume, except pants that fit loosely around it’s legs. It is coloured in black but has been adorned with golden lightningbolts made from a similar material to Tix’ top. The Toxicroak is wearing a denim vest with glittering and shining applications and it’s Horn is pierced with 2 metal rings. It is also wearing black training pants like they are common with people who train fighting types. When the Toxicroak turns around to give the Toxtricity a fist bump, a Koffing-Motif on the back of the vest becomes visible. They head towards their designated spots. The Toxtricity is standing to the left part of the stage while the Toxicroak is heading to the middle. Tix is standing to the right of Toxicroak at a microphone.

Tix grabs the microphone, takes a deep breath and practically screams into it “GOOOOD DAY TO YOU ALL SOOTOPOLIS! I AM TIX, THOSE TWO ARE BASIL AND POPPY, AND TOGETHER WE ARE! COLORLESS TOXIN! I KNOW WHAT YOU WANT, AND I KNOW WHAT WE WANT! YOU WANT TO SEE A SPECTECULAR SHOW! AND WE WANT TO HAVE FUN! SO WE WILL JUST DOOOO BOTH!!!”

Tix takes a deep breath, pausing. The crowd is baffled for a second, then erupts into cheering, though there have been more exited audiences yet.

“AS YOU GUESSED, WE ARE HERE TO MAKE SOME MUSIC!!! WE’RE GONNA PLAY YOU GUYS AN ORIGINAL SONG CALLED “THALLOUS SULFATE”! AND ROXIE, IF YOU’RE WATCHING FROM YOUR STINKING DARK BASEMENT! YOU WERE RIGHT! I DID COME BACK TO THE MUSIC!”

Tix is taking a few steps back and strum the guitar, which results in a loud chord and a change in the lighting. Tix voice can still be heard in the video, they are apparently wearing a small microphone as well. Their voice has become shrill. They shriek “BASIL! OOOOVERDRIIIIVE! POP! CORROSIVE GAAAS!”

Poppy leans towards the microphone, inflating his throat pouch, tapping it with his claws which result in an unexpected sound that reminds of a bass drum. He is playing a fast rhythm, carefully inflating and deflating his throat pouch to create different pitches and sounds. He then opens his mouth to releases a cloud of gas that pours over the stage. This is the moment Basil strums her chest strings, releasing a large wave of electric energy that surges through the gas, lighting it up from inside. The camera moves purposefully to show the stage from below. The Band now looks like giants, standing in a wild thunderstorm, their flashy clothes reflecting the light into the crowd.

The trio is playing a very fast and heavy tune for another minute with Tix singing before they give new commands to their Pokémon. The music is slowly evolving into a wild solo on Tix guitar before they scream an unexpectedly high pitched finale to the verse and gesture towards Poppy and Basil.

Now, the electric type moves a bit to stand directly behind the Toxicroak, this time plucking at her electrically charged hair. A slow moving light wave emits from her head, almost shining through Poppy. The Fighting type blows his throat pouch up, larger and larger until he grabs the microphone and lets out a deep guttural croak that fits very well to the music that is played. Tix is now playing more of a supportive melody and is headbanging on their side of the stage. Basil is playing an equally supporting bass tune, still sending out electric waves in a rhythmic pattern to Poppys growling. The camera is slowly flying around the band, capturing different angles of the lightshow. The crowd has started dancing and cheering at this time.

After the solo, the band resumes the song with the chorus. At the end of it Tix gives new gestured commands to their Pokémon.

Still in Rhythm, the fighting type gives the drumming a break to concentrate on the next move. Basil also stops for a moment and only Tix’ guitar music is filling the arena. Then, suddenly, Poppy punches heavily into the ground and with a loud crack, synched with the music, a stone edge bursts forth from the ground directly below Basil who casually balances on the tip, now, starting to play again. It is a heavy and fast bass solo. Tix has now stopped playing and is dancing over the stage with Poppy who is drumming a slow supporting rhythm now, both are heavily headbanging.

At the end of Basils solo, Tix gives another command while they now resume their guitar play and also starting to sing a last chorus.

While they are performing, the Pokémon on stage move into a new position. While the Toxicroak climbs up the boulder, Basil jumps down from it while simultaneously throwing a load of purple shining needles into the air. Before they can land on the ground, Poppy jumps up into the air, a flurry of blows reaching all over the stage, shattering every single needle and covering the stage in purple glittering dust. Meanwhile Tix and Basil have moved right next to each other, Tix has started playing on Basil while the Toxicroak has reached over to use the Guitar in a spectacular finale.]

I think it went pretty well! Whoa, I am BREATHLESS, that was exhausting. But I made the qualifiers, let’s FUCKING GOOOOO! Also biiiig thanks to @appeallove who… helped me secure this footage from the organisers to post here! With a bit of luck, I’ll get the recording of the next performance as well!

Edit ooc: i was listening mostly to GRAVITATIØNAL SINGULARITY and Blut aus Nord while writing this, so this is kinda the style i imagined, maybe with a tiny bit more punk influences

Look, i found a stand that sells ice cream that doesn't just look like vanillite, they have all sorts of ice types! i felt a bit bad to buy a froslass shaped one, so we got snorunt instead! I'm supposed to tell you that everything will be alright from Momma Basil!

Intro post!

Hi all! I’m C (he/him). I’m a pianist from Galar. I mainly compose and do gigs but I do keep Pokémon and battle casually as well.

I have three Pokémon: a Rookidee, Kawdyr; a Chatot, Rameau; and a Toxtricity, Basil.

Tix here, i have good news: i have cleared scheduke for the 30th and 31st! (Which isn't actually that hard if you're self employed and don't have any workers, but the construction company needed a bit of a heads up). This means I'll be able to attend your birthday party! Hurray!

I've got an important question though: would you be able to house my Pokémon for a night? And if so, which ones? I would love to bring Coffee and Muffin, and maybe even Basil and Poppy. It wouldn't be any trouble if you can't, but it would make it easier to choose a Hotel.

oh my gosh, i am so glad you are able to make it!!!! i would be happy to keep your pokémon and also you in my guest room for the night, but i think basil might be a little tricky... buckwheat, my galarian ponyta, absolutely cannot be around pokémon with sharp teeth and toxtricity have those little fangs... :( if you are staying with us too i think we could make it work by rearranging pokémon between the guest room and the plant nursery, that is how we have to do it with amy's nidorino and how we did it with tom's bats and it worked just fine, but i would need you here too to have the extra set of hands. i'm sorry!!!

I have a new Bulba friend whose gonna be joining me and my team on my journey! If you’re curious, I’ve gone with my usual main team of Cinderace, Corviknight, Sandaconda, Hatterene and Frosmoth, but I decided to let my Toxtricity, Jerry, rest for Basil here to accompagny us!

[A picture taken at the nimbasa pride parade, there are easily hundreds of people there:

Olivia is in the center of the shot, they wear a genderfluid flag as a cape and hold a sign. Next to them is a man that can best be described as a twink with an enormous beard. Said beard is dyed in the colors of the pride flag. He is topless, but has a progress pride flag painted on his chest. He holds the other part of the sign, which says "love is love" behind them is Marbles the Alolan Exeggutor, who has a gigantic rainbow pride flag attached to his neck as well.

Next to olivia is a tall person wearing a black mask with a lot of accessories and applications that obscures their entire face. They also don't wear a top, but instead dungarees that kinda resemble the voidpunk pride flag. There is a very distinct tattoo on their arm that looks like an arbok. They are handing out something to people around them.

Behind them are also Poppy and Basil, arm in arm flying a straight ally flag and a progress pride flag.]

Good day everyone and happy pride! I am very sorry about the recent radio silence, but we had so so much to do! Tix was very busy in preparations for the parade so i was almost alone in running the café, and with Yoghurt keeping us on our toes, there was really not that much time to post anything!

\\GUYS I am allowed to go in the big oven! Tix gave me strict instructions, but let's be honest they are going to be way too busy to check on that with the party going on! SO LETS JUST HAVE FUN! I should probably try not to burn anything though, they might notice that.//

Alright everybody! The first batch of Muffins is baked, we have Cupcakes with Koffing-Icing and obviously a lot of Poffins. The party can begin!

I've put my speakers outside, so there is music going on. When i have to be in the kitchen, Basil has the last word about the music. Because Cream definitly is going to have her hands full today lol.

Also, i fucking couldn't find any balloon gas, so Coffee helped me blow up them up! So, if they pop, you are hereby warned that you probably shouldn't breathe the gas that was inside. I'm not worried that you're gonna die and it should disperse quickly, but it's probably not healthy to have your lungs filled with his gas. It's gonna smell amazing though. Also big thanks to @pkmn-aide-mel for helping me with the mustaches hehe.

And look at how goofy they are! I'll keep my promise, if you come by, you get too keep one of them. i'm pretty sure i bought enough for eveyone.

Just a quick update, because i am really tired and done for today. I'll make a complete update tomorrow. Just this:

The visit at the vet was... A lot. I think I'll need some time to process everything. We also brought the yveltal egg, not just the rescued ultra-domesticated Pokémon. At least that one seems healthy, if a bit quiet for the moment.

I've decided on the names "Bun" for the female UD Trubbish, "Roll" for the smaller, male UD Trubbish and "Appleslice" for the UD Mareanie. Idk why "Apple" wasn't sufficient, my brain said so.

Also, the Barn is actually finished. Basil and Poppy have already claimed their spots, it's going great.

Loaf, Chocco, Carrot Cake and Pumpkin were planned to arrive today via PC, but they haven't...

Second update: I've told it before, i want to expand my little café a bit and... Construction is officially starting next week!

I've found a construction company, we made plans, everything got approved and they'll start bringing their stuff here tomorrow, but the actual construction only starts on Monday. We expect to be busy for around a month, mostly because we need to clear a bit of the woods. I'm also pretty involved, so i might be a bit busy with that as well as the café.

The company is called "Pokéresort Planning and Construction Nimbasa City" btw. I can't say how good they are right now, but they've been super super helpful so far, and they have an extensive catalogue of habitats for all kinds of Pokémon. They have like, semi-modular "rooms" I'll call them, that you can just kinda put together into a building like I'm doing for the barn, but you can also remodel an existing room in your house that way to accommodate a new Pokémon or something. It's really really interesting.

But to let you in on the plans, there are 4 main projects.

First, a barn. Well, I'm gonna call it a barn because it's shorter, but it's actually quite a complex building made to accommodate quite different Pokémon. I've said it before, but i kind of want all my friends around, but I don't have the space. I know Basil and Poppy are not complaining, but they would very much like their own space, Bienenstich will also live there once it's finished. And well, everyone else who will join us once it's finished will have a dedicated spot that fulfills their needs and everything.

Second, a pond. You know a lot of poison types need a lot of water, (like Toxicroak and Toxtricity and a bunch of others), so it will be an upgrade for Poppy and Basil, and it's also a must have if i ever want Carrot Cake to live here. And if a guest wants their fish Pokémon or something to take a bath, a pond is also a great thing to have.

Third, a battle arena. It'll not be much, but part of the current garden will be converted into a certified battlefield. Obviously nothing like you'd find in a gym, just a small dirt field, but I think it's just a nice thing to have, right? (The arena will probably be finish within the next week btw)

And last, the garden is gonna be expanded. And it's gonna be a proper garden, with berry bushes, veggies, herbs and all, maybe even some flowers. I'm so excited.

It shows Flit the Beedrill, Cheese the Crobat, and Marbles the Alolan Exeggutor playing some funny version of Volleyball or Tennis. Coffee the Koffing acts as the Ball, being gently tackled by the other Pokémon to change the direction in which he floats. After a minute, the camera pans towards the ground, showing a group of Pokémon sitting near the garden. Basil the Toxtricity can be heard playing a calming melody, Muffint the Budew is sitting in her lap, seemingly asleep. Bienenstich the Scolipede is laying on the ground, the two ultra-domesticated Trubbish also sleeping at her feet. The only Pokémon not visible is Ampersand the Sliggoo, even the ultra-domesticated petilil is peaking from behind a few plants]

I'm so happy right now.

I am! I will! As soon as I'm back home i will spend every minute of the day hugging them all!!!

I am so proud of them! Basil and Bienenstich and Poppy were so great yesterday at the raid! They helped calm down so many of the ultra-domesticated Pokémon, and they helped carry them out and I'm so so proud!

And Cheese and Cracker were so incredible, flying me all the way to Alola! I'm so impressed by their strength! (I'll be taking a plane home though, i think Cheese is still a bit tired, which is fair.)

They will be getting hugs and treats and cupcakes and poffins and everything they want!

Hello hello trainers, coffee enjoyers and everyone else! We're back from Castelia City!

I had such a grand time there. Gym leader @artyburgh and all the harlequins made sure i got to see the ins and outs of the gym, though i obviously can't tell the solution to any puzzles. I can only say they are puzzling indeed. (Also i had to solve the riddle myself first) They are just such nice people. And i think they now understand that coffee is more than just "bitter bean water", am i right Jack? You seemed to quite enjoy my mocaccino if i remember correctly?

On that note, I'm very sorry for anyone who had to battle Anders and his caffeinated Swadloon. I had no idea they could get so fast.

Also, I would like to thank gym leader Burgh for our amazing battle. I realised just how rusty i was, i got completely decimated. Well, actually not, i successfully took out Accelgor, but that was it. Bienenstich did an incredible job there. Actually, Basil and Poppy did too, i just made the wrong decisions and lost because of it. But well, that's life. It gives me a reason to visit again sometime. (Also, i think one of the harlequins made a video of rhe fight, maybe they can post it? I'm not sure though)

But i also made some photos!

I have to say, i was very impressed that Ivani was dancing with Poppy. She's very talented!

Again, i have to express my thanks to Burgh and all the harlequins, i had such an amazing time!

Before i answer the actual question, a quick clarification: because my new home (the café, i live upstairs) is not as big as I'd like, I don't have all my Pokémon living with me. And because of that, I didn't introduce them yet, which is also true for Loaf. That's also the reason for the construction so I'll have enough space for everyone to live here. (It's gotten pretty cramped, actually, originally i only wanted to bring 4 Pokémon here before i got more space, now it's 8 of them...)

But now to the question:

Coffee (the Koffin): he lives in a basic pokeball. I was thinking about getting him a new one, but he never really cared for it, so i didn't.

Muffin: also a basic one. I, uh, didn't get to go shopping with him yet. He probably would want a different one.

Cream: she lives in a repeat ball. I don't quite remember how that came to be, actually, but it's the one i caught her with.

Basil: quick ball

Poppy: also a quick ball. Both were originally caught in great balls, but for some reason Basil really didn't like it, and Poppy just went along with it.

Bienenstich: a Luxury Ball. It was a gift from dad. At the time, i could never have afforded one.

Cheese (the new Crobat): a basic pokeball. It's what i had around, but I'll definitely go shopping with her soon, so she can decide if she wants a different one. And take Muffin, of course.

Cracker (the new Murkrow): also a basic pokeball, same thing as with Cheese.

And since you asked, I'll share the Pokémon who don't live with me as well:

Loaf (my Trubbish): a heal ball

Carrot Cake (my Clodsire): a primier ball.

Pumpkin (my Bellsprout): a park ball. I bought that ball from a quite shady guy some time back. I don't think they're for sale regularly, but Pumpkin loves it.

Chocco (my salandit): a dusk ball. He's an edgy boy.

Yeah, i'm doing all right, just a little stressed at the moment. Olivia has a lot to do at the Gym so i'm basically alone with the café rn, and she's also stressing a lot because of a ghost that's maybe probably haunting her apartment. Ngl it's kinda weird when your employee is at your place only off the clock lol.

But how about you guys? Is the new guy settling in all right? You know, the UD Absol?

and really, i have to make a trip to Kalos sometime. Idk when Cael has time for that, but i really wanna visit you guys at some point. Basil really wants to see Galadbain again, and i do too.
