Mixels Frenzy: The End

And we’ve officially come to the end of the art project; closing my own tribute to this underrated little gem of a franchise that has left a huge impact on my life. All 81 Mixels, drawn, colored, and presented! Overall it has been a swell time revisiting this series, and drawing out all these fun, wacky, and imaginative looking creatures. Getting to talk about all my personal favorite characters, while also finding some new appreciation for some others.

I feel very accomplished working on this project, it allowed me to sharpen up my drawing skills, create my own release schedule, as well as experimenting around with the color pencils set that I got for Christmas. I’ll probably do something like this again for a different series/franchise in the future, but for now, I’m going to move on to some new smaller projects. I’ve been drawing Mixel characters for nearly 3 months and I kinda want to take a break for now. But I’ll certainly get back to it at some point, I might even consider drawing out all the Maxes.

Anyways, Thank you to everyone who has stuck around for this 2+ month long project. I hope you enjoyed this little series as much I did, and that you’ll stay tuned to more of my upcoming art pieces.

Happy 10th anniversary to Mixels!

These funky little guys mean so much to me, so I decided to draw something special to celebrate the 10th anniversary

Day 17: Frosticons! I drew Chilbo with scenecore hair and clothes while Snoof said that he doesn't care at this point. Also Krog is there as well but he's offscreen. 🩵💙

It’s taking so quickly to put Dribbal and Chilbo into a mix of them while I’m really very zealous about Know-It-All Duo due to they’re my most favorites of Main Mixels! Before I draw the art before revealing it. As somebody made them into a Mix or Murp, so I made them my own version of them…

Dribbal and Chilbo Mix/Know-It-All Mix (Voiced by Sean Chiplock, when combined mind in the mix)- Known as Dr. Knovin I. Allert , the mixed of Two Mixels who have the same personalities, but different ways, have a power of slime and frost with chemistry, ability to combine in balance of mind and heart as it is made by Dribbal’s sympathy and Chilbo’s empathy with memory intelligence as combined of Know-It-All Duo’s memories. Before balance control minds to mix of Know-It-All Duo at first time, they’re fighting over the control of mix by their voices until they got electrocuted by tripped and into their projects to unconscious, but later to regain their conscious, their minds into one of the mix as side by side; Dribbal on left side and Chilbo on right side, their voice is completely different. He’s know-it-all, genuine as sound of genius, overconfident, nonchalant, mischievous, and sense of humor around Mixels to make irritated, uncomfort, or blankly mind as doesn’t understand, but they worried to Mixels whoever has hard problems as made by themselves as they show their emotional side to them about problem as same to Know-It-All Duo’s as soon it become a balance of logical and emotional, he’s the Master of Disguise to seek the information, mostly dresses of a ringmaster/entertainer. The Mix is controlled by Dribbal and Chilbo, his/their voice is two, but when combined of minds, he/they got Dribbal’s voice tone and Chilbo’s sound tone.

Some inspired to the Mix is The Amazing Digital Circus; For Caine to their emotional traits and For Kinger to their combined voice but little higher.

Chilbo: (agrees with Mineta) Good idea. (realizes) Heeeey…

Mineta: Come on, Chilbo, you two have to create a diversion.

Chilbo: What do what me to do, huh? Dress in drag and do the hula?!

Not so long time ago i found an old lego journal, and when i started looking through it, i found pages about new Mixels sets

and for some reason, it just says "Chill", instead of "Chilbo" 😭 i didn’t know he was chill like that

MF Day #41: Chilbo

If I had to make a pick for the most underrated Mixel in the whole lineup, it would hands down be Chilbo. I don’t know why, but this is the one Mixel that stuck with me the most throughout all the years I’ve been a fan of the series.

Once again he has a design that perfectly captures his know-it-all personality, it’s simpler compared to most of the other mixels, but all of the details within work together to create this perfect design. He has a bluetiful use of the Frosticon color scheme, a cute sloth-like appearance, that defining icy brain, a cool pair of clawed hands, and of course those wonderful eyebrows! Some of his features even inspired my earliest creation of my sona, it was that impactful to me.

And out of all the Mixels characters with missed potential, Chilbo’s felt the most tragic. Despite having a fair amount of screentime in the QFTLM special, he barely had any lines of dialogue, which feels bizarre given how he’s said to be a very talkative character. That’s not to mention the fun three-way dynamic of all three Frosticon Cousins we could’ve had, with Chilbo being the intelligent straight man having to deal with the incompetence of his fellow frosty brothermen. But from what we got, the focus was mainly put on Snoof and Krog, while Chilbo felt left out.

A greatly wasted opportunity in my opinion…oh well, at least there’s the unlimited power of fan-made content that could deliver on what could’ve been.
