laios is a single-issue voter, and that issue is "more funding for biology research." since both biden and trump handled the novel SARS coronavirus poorly, he would not trust either candidate to do what he wants. therefore he would write in the name of a prominent dragon expert. (if dragons don't exist in this hypothetical, substitute some real-world megafauna, like elephants or moose.)

falin can't vote until she sorts out the fact that she's legally dead.

marcille is definitely the "really into ruth bader ginsburg" brand of turbolib. that being said, at fifty years of age, she's just old enough to remember her parents complaining about his anti-busing efforts, and more than old enough to remember the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act. even more importantly, however: she would be really put off by his tendency to make gaffes and ramble about weird shit. she thinks Optics and Being Presidential are very important. she would therefore start a short-lived and ultimately unsuccessful movement to try and get Harris nominated instead.

chilchuck is a union man at heart, so he would call a vote to determine whether the union as a whole endorses biden or condemns both candidates. if they vote to condemn, he just stays home and gets day-drunk instead

Senshi has the biggest shot of the Touden Party imo but he still loses due to not being that popular

Scratch that Izutsumi has everything LMAO she can fight and mostly fend for herself and I could see her being popular (though maybe Panem wouldn't like that she's a beastman? Not sure tbh)

Falin I could see winning maybe? Healing magic could be quite useful, and she has shown the capability to fight other people, and she's nice enough to win the audience

Toshiro can't survive on his own (though his combat skills are good)

Namari is imo the second or third most likely winner. Weapons expert + could reasonably survive on her own (she is quite poor and ostracized in-canon so I imagine she's faced a lot of hardships in finding food) + could reasonably have a lot of fans

Mithrun loses automatically for Plot Reasons

Thistle is the President Snow of the scenario (also without his book I'm not sure if he's that good tbh)

Kabru is perfect for this. He's thriving. Fucking frolicking down the hills not even needing to forage or hunt because he has so many sponsorships and is also dominating the cornucopia

A faint hum reverberates from behind her lips, likely imperceptible to most in the room. That sound, accompanied with her soft and pleasant smile, was the only acknowledgment she gave to his words, waiting for him to answer her question.

The male seems anxious, and Zelda does her best to make her smile a bit more saccharine, hoping to soothe any nerves as he at last begins to explain the reasoning behind his visit. Though she had heard the mention of thievery in Castle Town — whispers amongst her court and the palace staff — she herself had not presided over any part of the sentence. The task had been left for her court to handle, but if a race was being wrongly accused and a member of that group was locked behind bars despite no wrongdoing….

He was brave to speak so boldly and make such a request. A part of the Hylian royal wondered how her father might have reacted in the face of such a situation, and another part of her shuddered at the thought of how poorly it might have gone during her father’s rule. She, however, was not her father.

Still, the to-be-queen remains silent, perched in her throne as the leader of the Half-foots laid our his two requests. The first seemed easy enough, and certainly fair given the circumstances. The second was a trickier request, one that could only be approved by herself, though risky given he wished to participate in the searching of Sakon’s property. 

“Roland,” she addressed the Captain of the Guard, the man stepping forward to stand at her side before Chilchuck. “Have two guards go and retrieve Dandan and bring him here to give his account,” she ordered, setting the first request into motion. While the guards set about their work, her gaze never left the Half-foot that stood before her.

“I wish to hear from Dandan myself, which is why I have requested the guards bring him here. Let us all hear what it is he has to say,” she explained, cerulean stare finally shifting to the large doors that lead into the throne room, knowing the sentries would eventually return with Dandan through those very doors. “As for your second request….it will depend on how this first goes.”

" I'm honored I could have this time." Chilchuck clasps his hands together, just nervous motions of his thumb on a knuckle.Any who approach royalty must avert their eyes on approach. Humble folk were not often accused or thrown out for small offenses of the polite class, as long as they stood on their words confidently. "We've been running into problems in castle town. Recently, a few of my members have been accused of stealing jewels, some items from a local bazaar ; Dandan is in jail, and the other two have been hiding in the outskirts. " The halfling rises to stand from kneeling, finally casting a glance upward at the princess. She was quite naturally, beautiful. The finest garments for their royalty, no doubt. He was putting on his best face then, to assure he wouldn't lose this opportunity. " I believe the real culprit is Sakon, a known thief. But, as I'm not a citizen and... there's already some bias against my own, I haven't been able to gather proof. I'm sure, your Royal Highness must understand my... urgency, earlier with insisting to the guards that I had to meet you today. " More accurately described it was a spit-fire exchange, boiling close to a small outbreak of chaos at the palace gates, had not the leader of the half-foots urged his companions to calm themselves.

" First, I want to see Dandan- to give an accurate story to those under me that he hasn't been punished... yet."

"More importantly, I need permissions to have Sakon's house and property searched by myself, and whoever you'd send. He has two pieces- one in Castletown, and a tent in the direction of the valley."
