Chiller AC: Cooling Large Spaces Like a Pro.
While your trusty window AC might keep your apartment comfortable, it wouldn't stand a chance against cooling a giant office building or a sprawling hospital. That's where chiller AC systems come in. These industrial workhorses are the secret sauce behind large-scale air conditioning.
So, how do chiller ACs work?
Think of them as giant refrigerators for buildings. Instead of blowing cool air directly, they chill water. This ice-cold water then gets pumped throughout a building, where it cools the air through heat exchangers. There are two main types of chiller ACs:
Air-cooled: These operate similarly to your home AC, using outdoor fans to expel heat.
Water-cooled: These transfer heat to a separate cooling tower that uses water (often from a cooling pond or municipal source) to expel heat.
Where are chiller ACs used?
Chiller ACs are the go-to solution for large spaces that need precise temperature control. Here are some common applications:
Commercial buildings: Offices, hotels, and shopping malls all rely on chiller ACs for year-round comfort.
Industrial facilities: Factories and warehouses often use chillers to cool down machinery and processes that generate a lot of heat.
Healthcare facilities: Hospitals and clinics need to maintain cool temperatures for patient comfort and critical medical equipment.
Benefits of chiller ACs:
Efficient cooling: Chiller ACs can cool large areas very effectively, making them ideal for big spaces.
Zonal control: Different zones within a building can have their temperatures independently regulated.
Quiet operation: Chiller units are often located outdoors, keeping noise pollution down inside the building.
Chiller ACs vs. Regular ACs:
The key difference is scale. Regular ACs cool air directly, making them suitable for individual rooms or small buildings. Chiller ACs cool water that gets distributed throughout a building, making them perfect for large-scale applications.
So, next time you're enjoying the cool comfort of a large building, remember the hidden hero – the chiller AC system, quietly working away to keep things pleasant.
For any chiller AC needs, don't hesitate to contact Burak HVAC! Our team of experts is happy to answer your questions and help you find the perfect solution for your large-scale cooling requirements. Why Air Balancing & Water Balancing Matters in HVAC Systems
Your HVAC system tirelessly toils away to keep your home or building comfortable. But what if its efforts weren't evenly distributed? Uneven airflow and water flow can lead to a host of issues, compromising both comfort and efficiency. This is where air balancing and water balancing in HVAC systems come into play. These crucial processes ensure optimal performance, maximizing comfort, saving energy, and extending the lifespan of your HVAC system.
Understanding Air Balancing
Air balancing involves meticulously adjusting the airflow within the ductwork of your HVAC system. This ensures that each room receives the intended amount of conditioned air, eliminating hot or cold spots. Think of it as fine-tuning the air distribution network of your building. Here's why air balancing matters:
Enhanced Comfort: Balanced airflow means consistent temperatures throughout your space. No more battling hot bedrooms or drafty living rooms – just consistent comfort for everyone.
Improved Air Quality: Proper air circulation helps prevent stagnant air and promotes better indoor air quality.
Reduced Energy Consumption: An unbalanced system can overwork, leading to higher energy bills. Balancing ensures optimal efficiency, saving you money on your utility costs.
Extended Equipment Life: Balanced airflow reduces strain on your HVAC equipment, promoting its longevity and minimizing the need for repairs.
The Importance of Water Balancing
Water balancing focuses on regulating the flow of hot or chilled water throughout the hydronic piping system of your HVAC. Similar to air balancing, it ensures even distribution of conditioned water to heating and cooling coils. Here's how water balancing benefits your HVAC system:
Precise Temperature Control: Balanced water flow allows for more precise control over room temperature, eliminating hot and cold zones.
Optimized System Performance: Balanced water flow ensures your HVAC equipment operates at peak efficiency, maximizing its effectiveness.
Reduced Noise Levels: Unbalanced water flow can lead to gurgling or knocking sounds in pipes. Balancing minimizes these noises, creating a quieter environment.
Lower Maintenance Costs: Balanced water flow reduces stress on pumps and valves, minimizing the need for maintenance and repairs.
Investing in HVAC Air Balancing & Water Balancing Services
Regularly scheduled air balancing and water balancing services, offered by companies like Aerosys [HVAC air balancing & water balancing services, Aerosys], are crucial for maintaining the optimal performance of your HVAC system. These services typically involve:
Comprehensive Inspection: A thorough evaluation of your ductwork and piping system to identify any airflow or water flow imbalances.

Chilling plant system can be air-cooled or water-cooled, depending on the usage and climatic conditions. If a building has a small number of rooms and does not require cooling power, an air-cooled chiller system will work best. An air cooled chiller is more economical than a water-cooled system at the same capacity because it uses less energy to operate and produces less noise. The main advantage of using an air-cooled system is that it does not require any additional equipment like pumps or fans in order to operate. The only requirement for this type of chiller is that there should be enough space inside your building so that all parts can fit together well enough without hindering traffic flow or causing obstruction issues outside your premises.

Saw an idea from @frogchiro and decided to write some feral content. Send her some love ❤
TW: yandere, monster fucking, werewolves, some crack/funny thoughts, talks about pregnancy/having pups (still gender-neutral), and knotting stuff.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Imagine TF-141 being yandere werewolf hybrids, falling for you all at once, each sharing their own yandere traits; which, causes all of them to be wherever you are. The need to scent you. Need you to be beside them at all times. And soon bring you home as theirs.
And now, you're their mate, sharing is needed — pack mates practically share everything, no?
Out of the four, Soap and Gaz are the absolute worst — they're feral, energized through the roof, and has to follow you around constantly; nudging into your crotch as they need to smell you. Smell your addictive scent that makes them all types of crazy, causing them to start nipping at your poor skin, growling at each other as the need for breeding comes along.
They both love to yap and bark at you, gently grasping your hand to guide you back to your bed (aka nest) so they can cuddle you (or stuff you full of their knot, their fluffy fur likely suffocating you.)
Though, you are often saved by Simon, and Price, whom are the biggest. They growl at them to watch it and gently bite their ears on scolding, snarling at them of needing to be more careful, and to not hurt you. You're their perfect mate!
Of course, Soap and Gaz make it up with sloppy kisses. And how can you not forgive them? Their obvious doggy eyes working perfectly.
Simon and Price are more so on the chiller side. Watching from afar, and demand cuddles that end up with their heads laying on your lap, the thumping of their tails on the chewed-up couch shows their appreciation when you finally decide to pay them attention.
But don't think they don't get possessive – because they do. More often or not, the hickeys and knots come from them. Though, they're regularly the nicest, rarely one to hurt you, and more aware of their size.
But, their breeding cycles are the fucking worse. Soap and Gaz are naturally horny, biting at your form as their tongue hangs out, but Simon and Price are a menace when in heat. Being more vocal, possessive, and often nipping at your ankles to not stray too far.
Regularly dragging you by the scruff of your clothes where the two of you can mate, spending their heat in peace. Making sure that you can see Price flexing his burly muscles, wanting you to admire their wagging fluffy tails, and showing off how thick, glossy Simon's fur is, and how both of them. All of them, really, can provide you with pleasant things, including a healthy litter of pups.
Despite them being pack mates, all of them are fighting on a regular basis — they all want to be the first one to breed, knot, and have you carry their pups.
When in their full werewolf forms, soap is more prone to chasing butterflies, and bringing you back half-alive birds, barking at you for his proud hunt – his mouth and chest covered in deepening blood.
Though, Gaz, and Price, actually bring actual gifts that are thoughtful — plopping full landscape roses in front of you, the roots still connected to the plant as their tail wag violently as they wait for your praise.
Simon, on the other hand, brings actual food. Like… steals a whole ass barbecued-chicken from someone's backyard, and nudges it closer to you as it's still warm.
Stares at you to eat it, his hazel eyes demanding for you to take it, but immediately snaps at Johnny, who only cackles back. He tries so hard to steal the items every time Simon gifts you something (he just wants a bite out of your food — sharing means caring!).
Everywhere on your body is marked by them, the harsh-but-yet healed maw-marked implanted into your skin. Their marks are typically licked, and kissed on by them.
Bring me some more ideas, please!! I fucking love these men who are feral for you — especially as werewolves 🤭
Here's my mw2 masterlist for more things <3

Super stoked for the Roger DLC and WILL be playing it on release, but something that’s been bugging me ever since the first few teasers was Peter, his personality feels quite different to me and my Peter obsessed friend, is there a reason for his personality change or was it completely unintentional?
He feels a lot more hot headed now, not completely the same as but similar to Steven, which feels like a complete 180 for Peter, I always remember enjoying him more in DSaF 2 because he was the more relaxed Phoney who when he had geniunely serious moments, it was incredibly impactful and gut wrenching when Peter would yell at me. 😔
Also, will Steven ever be real in dialtown please sir I miss my wif-
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The comparison just always bothered me slightly.
Different universes. I should note that while Peter IS chiller in DSaF 2, if the restaurant goes under, the main consequence is that the company will get mortally wounded and he might die. The other employees will (for the most part) be fine. Peter cares. He cares if you hurt employees, he cares if you fuck up but is also willing to look the other way a few times if the fuckup isn't bad enough (without letting it slide, because he still cares what you do at work too.) I'd say his attitude at work namely stems from that, rather than the other way around. Steven does NOT care. He is literally willing to throw you under the bus to save himself and his sole goal is keeping the place open specifically so he can save his own hide, and his hot-headedness comes from that.
In DT, Peter is at the end of his rope and has had to deal with a LOT up until this point, arguably even more than his DSaF counterpart in terms of his day to day job, as shocking as that may sound. There's also WAY more on the line this time. He isn't the one that's going to face the worst of what'll happen if things continue at their current trajectory (unlike Peter or Steven in their original games.) He explains this pretty early into the DLC, which may explain why he's testier than you remember him, namely what's on the line. He's trying his damndest to fix it but is failing. He's stuck between a rock and a hard place with Roger, recognizing his bad leadership is sinking the plant but caring too much about the guy to effectively deal with it until this point.
His guard is up because it has to be, but he does have a few nice moments where it's clear how much he cares and if you listen to Roger's dialogue carefully, you'll see just how much Peter has put up with that would've made any sane person walk away. He's also noticeably nicer to Gingi if you don't waste his time and seem to actually care about Roger, and he acts closer to how he does in the DSaF 2 screenshot you showed off, though perhaps with slightly less energy (since he is, like I said, at the end of his rope.) There's even a scene in the evil route where you can identify this and use it against him in a pretty sinister way.
To mention another thing that even Gingi sees as far back as his original scene in DT: He's a natural manager who's playing second-fiddle to someone who clearly doesn't know what he's doing.
I didn't just wanna do more of the same, so I played with the dynamics a lil. Peter is in a very different role here, one that he's not exactly suited to. He's out of his element. He's inundated with work and in this scene, is thinking about the lives of the employees who are going to be laid-off in a week or so time if things don't change FAST, and while this is happening, his boss is bantering with a weird cryptid on the street and talking about random garbage.
There are times in DSaF 2, like you said, where you do see him get like this. It's not as much that his character is different in my eyes, but that the context is. This is a version of Peter who is one bad day away from having to make a difficult decision. Literally. I'll gladly talk more about it when the DLC's out (namely I could compare + contrast certain decisions he makes!) For now, I don't wanna spoil anything that isn't explicitly stated in the first major scene he has.

I share an allotment with a group of like-minded, similarly afflicted mythics and metaphoricals.
They’re mostly a nice bunch - escapees from legend, myth and folklore, mainly.
There’s a couple of nice ancient warrior men who help me carry bags of compost (when they’re not too busy making eyes at each other).
Then there’s the werewolf who scares a lot of the pests away and grows lovely blood oranges in the greenhouse.
I don’t always get on with the sirens, who keep trying to add salt water to the fish ponds, but I do have to admit they harmonise beautifully. Mainly they sing about sustainable farming and permaculture - but that could just be what I hear…
We get a few brownies and hobs, too - and we’ve agreed a fair percentage of each harvest to be set aside for them, in exchange for their labour and the little magics that they offer to make mundane tasks go a bit quicker.
The main problem I have (other than rare Editor turning up - and we’ve managed to repulse all their incursions so far) is with the seer with whom I share the herb garden.
Oh, don’t get me wrong, we get along okay. I’m what those in the know would call ‘a blindspot in the weave’, which means I don’t show up in prophecies - so she doesn’t need to worry about giving me dire warnings for me to ignore. It saves on foreboding wailings and I Told You So’s and largely makes for a chiller relationship.
But I am nearly certain that she’s been stealing my herbs.
Not the dangerous or esoteric ones, mind. Usually it’s just perfectly ‘literal’ cooking herbs that go missing. And I’m fairly sure it’s her, because the leaves are always plucked right on the morning they’re ready.
I’ll be heading over to the allotment, excited for the day’s gardening, and sorting through my list of the various plants who’ve whispered through their roots (and into my dreams) that they’re ready to be harvested (along with the latest plant gossip).
And then I arrive and the stalk of my herbs are bare and when I sing and croon to them and ask who did this, they keep stubbornly silent.
I mean … it’s not a big deal. It’s a small price to pay for an otherwise very equitable arrangement. It just grates sometimes; sticks in the craw, y’know?
But I guess it’s true what they say:
Prognostication is the thief of thyme.
