[Book Review] 🖋Agatha Cristie [Little People, Big Dreams]🖋

■ Emphasising the values of determination and creativity, this book provides a simplified version of the life of the Queen of Mystery; Agatha Christie. My personal favourite of her many books is “Peril at The End House”.

It is not only a biography but also an inspirational read. It encourages children to persevere and follow their dreams and believe in their abilities, inshaAllah, anyone can achieve greatness. An empowering quality to nurture.

■ The illustrations are whimsical and colourful, adding a visual dimension that complements the storytelling. Starting with Agatha’s childhood and early influences, weaving through her passion for writing and her contributions to the world of literature. The narrative is presented simply and engagingly to children without sacrificing the essence.

■ The inclusion of real photographs of Agatha Christie at different stages of her life allows us to relate to the real person behind the legendary author.

■ Overall, this is a captivating educational book that introduces young readers to the life of a literary icon. Perhaps, it serves as a fantastic starting point for nurturing an early interest in literature as well as knowing more about the remarkable life of Agatha Christie.

WIP 2:

The Unknowns

Genre: slice of life, drama

After their band the unknowns breaks up due to covid, Baz Jones lives her days stuck in their room. Wheb Baz finds out their best friend who used to live and die the rock and roll spirit, is getting married, Baz has only one goal in mind: stop the wedding any mean neccesary.

Story handles found family, shattered dreams and how to stop grieving the past that never comes back.

Main characters:

Baz Jones - they/them, 22 year old singer of the Unknowns. Baz has always idolized David Bowie, Prince and all the other performers of the 70s and 80s. They want to be a rockstar, fair and simple. World just keeps moving too fast for them.

Caroline "Caro" Edwards - she/her, 23-year old. The old bassist of the Unknowns. Baz's girlfriend of 7 years. When the pandemic started,Caro shifted her focus from music to sociam justice, going to marches and organizing to charities with her brother Aiden. Used to be a pastel goth while in a band.

Noelle "Noel" Adams - she/her, 23-year old. Old guitarist of the Unknowns. Noel used to be a wild child. She spent her weekend partying and hooking up with anyone she could. After the pandemic hit, she was forced to get a job and calm down. While working, she met her future husband who she got engased with "suprisingly quick" for a former non-monogamist.

Ivy Vance - 21 year old drummer of the Unknowns. Ivy is a shy and reserved girl who found a place to loose in stage while drumming her heart out. After she lost her coping mecanism, Ivy started to spend her time online, falling deeper and deeper with online conspirasies.

Aiden Edwards - 25 year old. Caro's brother. He used to be the manager of the Unknowns, but now works with his sister with chrity programs. Doesn't k iw anything about rock and roll but wants to support Caro.

Elena Thompson - Aiden's girlfriend. Human embodiment of a sunshine which disgusts Caro. Likes popular music and people.

I loved Nemesis by Agatha Chritie

totally recommended. It is a story of suspense and mystery that is connected to the book "a Caribbean mystery". In it Miss Marple must solve a crime committed years ago at the request of a friend.

Kenneth Branagh encuentra la fórmula y hace algo aceptable: por primera vez la espectacularidad tiene sentido. Con sus reboots de los clásicos de películas basadas en la obra de Agatha Chritie, Branagh había seguido una extraña idea de apostar por la espectacularidad versus la sobriedad ingeniosa de sus predecesoras.  Justamente el tono relajado es lo que hacía de las clásicas un happy place…

CHRISTY Y SHERMAN BARNETT TODA UNA TRADICIÓN DENTRO DEL AUTOMOVILISMO

El Paso, Texas., viernes 20 de octubre de 2023.-La destacadisima piloto peseña Christy Georges Barnett, y su esposo Sherman Barnett, se reportan listos para participar este fin de semana en la competencia denominada 23 Annual Rancho Milagro USRA Fall Nationals que se llevará a cabo en el Vado Speedway los días viernes 20, sábado 21 y domingo 22 de octubre.

Estuvimos en el taller donde los mecánicos se encuentran afinando todos los detalles en los automóviles que utilizarán Christy y su esposo Sherman Barnett este fin de semana en Vado, Nuevo México.

"Este carro es uno de los modificadas en clase B hay 2 clases, uno que está abierto y otro que está limitado, ese es limitado, este carburador de 2 gargantas, y Ilimitado al motor de 360, vamos a correr ese mañana, el sábado y el domingo en Vado, también voy a correr el modificado abierto que es de cuatro, y motor de cualquiera también esta semana", señaló Christy Georges

También pudimos observar el vehículo que utilizará en la categoría Modificado Abierto, al tiempo de explicarnos cuales son las características del motor.

"Puedes correr cualquiera las cabezas pueden ser de aluminio con carburador de cuatro gargantas", al tiempo de señalar que puede alcanzar una velocidad de 180 millas por hora.

También pudimos observar los vehículos que utilizará este fin de semana su esposo Sherman Barnett en las categorías de Trocas y Super Calle.

En el taller también se encuentran una gran cantidad de trofeos de los cerca de mil que ha ganado Christy a los largo de su brillante carrera como piloto de carreras, tanto en Juárez, como en Vado y diferentes lugares de Estados Unidos.

Tras cuestionarla sobre cuántos años tiene dentro del automovilismo dijo:

"Yo empecé corriendo los carros en el 84, yo tenía como 24 años,  pero empecé corriendo trimotos en 81, tengo 43", 

Christy, además ha servido de inspiración para muchas mujeres que al verla participar en las competencias han decidido iniciarse dentro del automovilismo, ya que durante muchos años ella era la única mujer que participaba en este tipo de competencias, corriendo contra puros hombres a los cuales regularmente les ganaba.

"Antes no había nadie, ninguna mujer, nunca, ya pasando los años ya si hay unas corriendo pero ellas corren porque yo estaba corriendo"

Pero qué consejo le da Christy a las mujeres que tengan interés en convertirse en pilotos de carreras?

"Agarra uno y corre, haz lo que quieras hacer, nunca oigas a una persona que dice no lo puedes hacer porque es mujer"

También nos explicó cuál es la diferencia de correr en una pista de tierra y en otra de pavimento y  comentó que también en una ocasión participó en Arizona en una competencia de NASCAR  en pista de pavimento, donde después de ir en el último lugar finalizó en la cuarta posición, además de haber alcanzado  una velocidad de 208 millas por hora en una pista mojada con sal.

"El NASCAR que yo corrí era en Arizona una, vez, era late model, y en la pista me dieron el carro para correr, empecé en último y saque lugar cuatro, es la única vez que yo corrí en pavimento, la otra de NASCAR corrí derecho en sal mojada para sacar las más millas por hora en el mundo y saqué 208", concluyó.

**Cannon Guns' eye turn blue, not reddish, when they get angered, and get the blue aura.

And apparently Dream Eaters have 5 colours of eye textures, even though their renders only use red-yellow, except Majik Lapin, and Chrities.

I can't say what green, or purple eyes correspond to, but it seems Master of Master's Eyes' blue colouring is representative of advanced control of darkness. So if Xehanort level grinded a bit better, his, and his troupe's eyes would be ghostly blue, like Berserk Saix.

**Contrary to popular belief, Anti-Form Sora can use darkness energy beams, and spikes in addition to its predominantly physical moveset. And he create dark goop like Neoshadows, though he can't hide in them. So yeah, he is far more sophisticated with darkness than most fanon depictions.

**Shadow Roxas has red eye glows, and I guess Sniper Nobodies would have red eyes, given their red bullet-arrows (other Nobodies besides Specter do not have an eye, or eyes). I guess this is since Nobodies do not true have true hearts, their darkness manifest more purely.
