I was playing tes iv oblivion and i randomly had the idea to make a dremora churl oc (he is one of those dremora churl that have the black robes)

His name is Atok (bit of fun fact: his name is that cuz "átok" in hungarian means "curse")

He got stuck in Tamriel after Mehrunes Dagon was defeated and he is hiding from everyone and everything and no one knows about him... yet

He's a bit of an asshole, and thinks he can defeat anyone (since he was with Mehrunes Dagon), but now that he's the only dremora stuck in Tamriel and the Prince of Destruction is gone and can't offer him protection, his real personality is starting to show and unfold

You know how people are often like “I have no filter!!” to justify general jerkiness? Or, my favorite, I also know some sweet middle aged small town Wisconsin types who say they have no filter any time they make even the mildest snarky comment.

But, I feel like my filter is genuinely malfunctioning lately and it’s embarrassing and weird! My stepdad got me two books for my birthday, one I’d never heard of (Cutting for Stone) and so I’m interested but not like super excited about it (but I trust him it will be good!), and then I Have Some Questions for You, which I’m excited for because I liked The Great Believers although I think I’ve heard mixed reviews of this one? Anyway, I said “Now THIS one I’m pumped about!” And then was immediately like “What?! Why would I say that!!” I did something similar at work, where some random trash talking just slipped out, that I definitely didn’t want to have said and didn’t even totally believe! Bleh. I will try to remember to tell this to my therapist.
