Deku's gaze skitters down to his collarbones, then lower, then back to his face, cringing like the guilty nerd he is. "It's- well, it's a meme, Kacchan."

Bakugou shakes his head irritably. "I don't fucking get the point of that shit."

"It's-- the point is about your, um-- your pectoralis major. Majors. You know. Just, they're-- major. Sizable," Deku says, trailing off.

"Idiots. It's called a targeted workout." Bakugou shoves the wide collar of his tank down so he can grip one of his pecs in his hand demonstratively, sinking his fingers into it. "The best kind've muscle's powerful and pliable," he finishes with a smirk.

"Pliable," Deku echoes faintly, before he blinks and comes back to himself. "Right. So it's a meme about how your, um, your chest is really… pliable. Sizable and, and... pliable."

Hi so I know we’re all getting ready for leaks bUt! I have to ask do you have any good fantasy au fic recs? I’ve been really wanting to read some lately and can’t find any that interest me all that much

Hm. Yes. Hm. Interesting. Fascinating. I see your plight.

I will preface that my fanfic recs are not given as a stamp of "100% Grade A+ 10/10 approval everything about this fic is diamonds" because I don't think such a thing exists and also that kind of defeats the purpose of fanfic. I think often there are fanfics worth reading that are sort of...diamonds in the rough. So, that said, the recs I give will always vary in quality and themes, and I give them because I think there is at least some element of each fic that is special and worthy of reading whether or not there are other flaws. That's probably good in your case since you're in search of an interesting premise--I can guarantee all of these at least have different premises, so hopefully one will work for you. If a fic's premise doesn't grab you, move along to the next recommendation.

R: Are there any writers (fanfic or otherwise) you consider an influence?

This is an interesting question, because I don't think I've got a whole lot of deliberate "I want to write like so-and-so" going, and when I read, it's not usually with intention to take elements away to apply to my own writing. But, naturally, my writing style, character interpretations, various setting-related headcanons, etc. all come from somewhere, whether it's the Star Wars novels I devoured as a child, the slightly mind-boggling amounts of fic I've read (closing in on 10,000 works visited on AO3 since 2013), my experiences in MMORPG roleplaying, the general milieu of BNHA Twitter circa 2021-2022, or the meta discussions I've had with folks while (re)watching the series. I know I've been influenced; it's just difficult for me to pick all those things apart in a conscious way. It all ends up in the soup, you know?

However, there is one specific example that comes to mind: when I was writing "Morning (calls for pain relief)," I did consciously refer to chalk's work — particularly Complicated Problems and the People Who Solve Them. In that fic, gy wrote Kirishima's POV using this wonderfully clear and unadorned way of speaking, which is what I knew I wanted for his narrative voice. The problem that I had run into was that I had no "mind's ear" for what that could sound like in non-dialogue prose. My default style of speaking and writing tends to be a little, uh... convoluted? I tend to use compound-complex sentences (because that's how the ideas are linked together in my brain); I often lean heavily on metaphorical language; sometimes my vocabulary gets away from me. In short, my writing can be very abstract. While this can work alright for Izuku's branching, analytical rambles (lol), it doesn't fit Kiri's straightforward way of speaking and his grounded, down-to-earth thought processes. So I studied up. :) (I also have to give due credit to my beta for that story, my friend Mae, who was very patient with picking out when I had slipped into academic-ese again.)

Now that I think about it... I'd say that there are definitely a number of BNHA fic authors whose works have supported my overall fic-writing approach in some way — though emboldened might be a better word. While I couldn't point to specific examples for how their influence has shown up in my writing, their works have made me feel like it's not only permissible, but positive to write outside the usual thoroughfares — to bring in themes, styles, concepts, and ways of relating that are essential to me, even if trying to describe them using the existing fic taxonomy feels like it results in total mistranslation.

Lečenje malignih bolesti je mnogo napredovalo poslednjih godina. Pored klasičnih modaliteta lečenja (operativnog, hemoterapije, radioterapije) već uveliko primenjujemo i imunoterapiju i biološku/ciljanu terapiju. Od nedavno, za sada samo u hematoonkologiji imamo i CAR-T terapiju.

Šta je CAR-T terapija? Ukratko, uzmemo T limfocite od pacijenta, modifikujemo ih da dobiju CAR (chymeric antigen receptor) koji će se vezivati za tumorske ćelije, umnožimo ih i vratimo ih pacijentu kako bi radile svoj posao - uništavanje stranih, neželjenih, tumorskih ćelija.

Ova terapija je dosta efikasna kod hematoloških maligniteta iz prostog razloga što se T limfociti prenose u krvi. Za solitarne tumore još uvek traju ispitivanja i tu se očekuje manji učinak jer je dostavljanje T limfocita do ciljanog tumorskog tkiva otežano iz više razloga.

Na žalost u medicini nemamo, niti ćemo imati, nešto što je 100% efikasno u svim slučajevima ali svaki napredak, poput ovoga, je veoma važan pogotovo u onkologiji. Mnoge pacijente ne možemo izlečiti ali ovakvom i sličnim terapijama im možemo produžiti život i očuvati mu kvalitet.

Hi, I love your analyses and your fics! 💕Especially that Eureka Seven AU man ngl it lives in my head and starts playing in my local theaters every other night at 2 AM, but *clears throat* I'm getting off topic lol :D do you have a bakudeku fic/authors rec list?

Good Bakudeku authors... the truth is, there are SO MANY. Just in general, and so many that are really, truly excellent. I have begun consuming more and more fic lately as I feel the itch of the subtext of what's happening in the manga rapidly becoming text and just plain consuming me, but many of the individual stories I've read can be GREAT as a story but perhaps not so great as a canon-faithful representation of Bakudeku - so I'm not entirely sure what kind of Bakudeku you're asking for ("fun and good story" versus "horny vignette" versus "that's totally Katsuki and Izuku.")

Also, like, for several of these authors, their Bakudeku portrayals evolved as the series progressed and we all learned more about these characters and the varnish of what BNHA pretends to be (superhero stock shonen!) peeled off to show what it actually is (The newest generation of something that should never have been domesticated now outgrowing the limits of the modern genre.) This is always good to keep in mind when looking at the dates of each work published.

Um, it's hard to pick just a few, and even harder when there's no specific direction about what TYPE. So here's a scattershot off the top of my head:

Me. My work. Read Mundane Crimes, Public Displays of Affection and I Want What I Don't Deserve. Those actually have some substance to them. The rest are kind of whatever, but you may still find them fun.

Kickass AUs and All-Rounders

chymerical is my favorite author on this list. They can do anything. I care about sports now because of chymerical. There's your fuckin' fadeaway.

young_crone - some are truly Bakudeku and some are just great stories that are using familiar names. Read all of 'em.

SmartiMart - Variant Edition is a sweeping epic and fascinating enough that the Bakudeku isn't actually its primary draw for me. Please also read Where in the World is Marigold? It's not Bakudeku, but I love it. SmartiMart is clever, inventive, and sometimes so much of a romantic that it makes me go, "woah, now! That's a bit much!" but in the best way.

iphido - this author has only one work for bakudeku, and it is worth it.

nicc - bite-sized sweet scenes, though many are very NSFW. Consistently excellent.

pikahlua - Dragonheart. this is your kick in the pants to finish those scenes, Pika.

Romantic Comedies

qodqodqod - Cringe comedy where love always, always, always prevails and bakudeku can't out-stupid their way out of it. Great job of not making the miscommunication, or lack of communication, a bore or overdone past what it needs to be.

heartsinhay - the cringe comedies are named that for a reason.

Darker Stuff

rironomind - apparently published something new earlier this year and I missed it??? DAMN! Existential, experimental, melancholic, high concept, fantastic. Rom's work is mostly in this category because it tends to throw curveballs at the reader. This is the category that just felt the most right by its vibes.

bkdkink - Lemonhead specifically.

Roadtripwithlucifer (read their new stuff too) - horny, but focused and full, full, full of ennui and anger and love and grief. It's the confidence of handling the last four that makes these works shine.

Surveycorpsjean - hit or miss for me personally, but always well done.

majjale - always great work; sometimes hit-or-miss for me personally on the bakudeku.

Whatever response, if they did give one infact, couldn’t be heard over the steady sloshing of his artificial stomach, which was little more than an idle bag of gelatinous material designed for short, yet sensual sessions if his partner so desired.. albeit, a bit more cramped than what they’d expected at first.

The apprehension he first felt upon feeling them stir within soon faded away once his sensors had started converting thier movements into a gradual incline of sexual arousal. For a moment, LLex worried about the impending consequences of letting his awareness slip, but little by little, as he soon caught ear of the muffled moaning coming from his bulging gut, he found himself starting to loose to his mounting sexual desires as he began to rock and hump against his user’s tucked away form...

For a while, they both basked to the rhythms of each other’s opposing motions, effectively serving to both get themselves AND the other off at the same time..

Until a light humming of something internal activating slowly caught his attention, his partner’s once lustful movements, now descending into frantic, studderjng spasms as the once moldible interior started to clamp and tighten around them...

“Ooooh noo....” The bot mumbled as he quickly realized what was about to happen, “... I knew this was gonna happen... you accidentally activated my sanitization mode....” LLex informing little too late as his abdomen began to rhythmically compact and contract, not like it wasn’t certainly dooming his now trapped “snack” as a  corrosive, yet sterilizing fluid starting flowing into the cramped area...

Surprisingly, the sensation of, what was essentially his own form of digestion, seemed to grant the same results as when he’d been humping the now shrinking mass mere moments ago, a sudden and deep groan from the mechanical organ making him let out an elongated moan of pleasure as his belly shook like jelly. The cushioning helps proved no match against the desperate flailing of a panicked user, leaving the tucked up person to quake the masticating middle in a flurry of morphing protrusions...

LLex couldn’t help but grind against the jerky movements of his suffocating client as his systems quickly started to melt them into little more than a meaty broth, the stew sizzling and popping as what was left was broken down by bio engineered enzymes that effectively turned that person shaped bulge into nothing but a chymeral creamy sludge that could be processed into a considerable amount of biofuel for later....

All the while they screamed from inside, as more and more of them became unrecognizable by the minute, aided by the persistent and steady rocking of thier pred’s hips as, to thier disbelief, he continued to get off to thier hopeless situation...

“Fuuuck.... I never thought.... this could feel.....~” he never trully finished his sentence really, a small belch slipping out, the taste of his partner’s fermenting flesh scattering his mind to the wind as he picked up the pace of his thrusts....

“AH~! LIKE THAT~!! YOU’LL MAKE ME-?!” LLex’s euphoric moan erupting out without warning then as he began to loose control of his faculties before finally tipping over the edge as his prey gave one last hardy kick in an attempt to turn this situation to thier favor...

Of course this only served to allow the android to finally orgasm after all this time, but it also created a hush of hot, thick, and ransid air to force itself up and out to taint the air outside, cutting off the moan, but adding to the already intense pleasure as the bot simply moaned, as best as he could, into the belch as it thundered through his already overstimulated body...

The lingering spasms of his hips and muscles made noticeable cracking sound from the bones finally starting to give way as the user had no doubt expired by now, the lack of air accompanied by the hostile conditions finally catching up with them...

the feeling of satisfaction amazing, as LLex found himself nodding off soon after manually and thoroughly compacting the bubbling protein into a meaty ball that could easily be worked down quicker than it would’ve prior....

LLex lazily smiled to himself, the thought of how he’d just ultimately dominated his lover making him even more aroused as sleepy as he was, no doubt leaving him to dream about the next time he’d planned to experience this outstanding feeling...

But this time, on purpose....~
