seungcheol: he knows when you're anxious when you start being a bit more quiet than usual and he slowly approaches you on the topic. he'd sit down next to you and ask you what was wrong as he gently brushes your cheek with the back of his hand. you didn't have to tell him immediately, but he just would want you to know that he's here for you and that you don't have to bottle up your feelings.

jeonghan: he'd notice after a while that you'd get rather quiet and closed off if you got anxious. he'd try his best to make you feel safe and comfortable and you'd slowly learn to open up to him about your anxiousness and feelings.

joshua: similar to seungcheol, he'd be the type to notice the change in you immediately and try to figure out what might be triggering your anxiousness. would cuddle you and distract you by watching a movie or reading out a book to you, until you slowly open up to him.

junhui: a little cluless tbh. he'd think you were just tired whenever you'd become closed off and quiet. it was later that he learned it was because you were anxious and not tired.

hoshi: he's not really sure what to do. he thinks that maybe you're upset, that's why you're suddenly so quiet and not talking to him as much. "are you mad at me?", he asks you softly with a pout. "hoshi..no im not mad at you. shit im sorry im just...i don't know..anxious.." you explain to him. later he would make sure to be alert of when you might be anxious and would gently squeeze your hand to let you know that he was here for you.

wonwoo: i think wonwoo would understand how you kinda shut off and become quiet when you get anixous and he'd leave you alone, giving you your space. but he'd also make sure to be there for you and tell gently ask you what was wrong if he was really worried and you seemed a bit too anxious. he'd gently talk to you and try to understand what was making you feel anxious.

woozi: he'd understand and would give you space and time if you needed it. but if he saw you were getting a bit too worked up and anxious, he'd help you calm down, telling you to breathe and that he was here and was not going anywhere. you could tell him anything, at anytime and he'd be here for you.

minghao: whenever you got anxious and found yourself curled up under the blankets, minghao made you tea. he'd make you a warm cup of tea and sit beside you as you slowly sipped the tea, grateful to minghao for being by you. you'd slowly open up to him about how you were feeling and he'd hug you afterwards, telling you how proud he was of you.

mingyu: he's very worried. he would not understand it at first and he'd just think you were maybe mad or upset at him because of the sudden quietness from you. but he later understands that it's because of your anxiety he feels a bit :\ he'd then try his best to notice when you'd kinda space out and close off and try to get you to speak to him. again, he won't force you, just would cuddle you and tell you that he was here and you could tell him anything, no matter how serious or silly it was.

dokyeom: the moment he sees you a bit more closed off and quieter than usual, whether it be replying to his texts later than usual or leaving him on seen, he's running over to you. he'd bring a few of your favorite foods, snacks, or your favorite ice cream and sit down with you, engulfing you in a big warm hug and telling you that he was always on your side and you didn't have to worry. he'd gently reassure you and once you open up to him about your feelings, he'd hug you again and give you a sweet kiss on the cheek.

seungkwan: he'd understand and he'd kind of get it and understand how you were feeling and not prod at you to tell him. he'd give you your space but also make sure he was there for you and he'd cook for you or take you out and maybe even buy you flowers because he wanted to make you smile and help you feel better. he would check up on your throughout the day and make sure you were okay.

vernon: he'd be a little clueless but once he learns and understands, he'd be with you and try his best to comfort and talk to you about how you were feeling.

dino: he would be a little confused too as you why you had suddenly gotten so quiet or weren't talking to him like you usually would. qhen you finally pluck the courage to speak to him, you tell him he'd hug you and tell you how great you were doing. he'd make it a point to notice when you got anxious and shower you with extra love and affection as well, hoping to distract you until you were ready to speak or voice it out to him.

you slowly wake up, the pleasant smell of coffee in the air. you hummed, turning around just to check if hyunjin is here – and he’s not. you rubbed your eyes and grabbed your phone to check the time… 10:22am?!

while slowly waddling towards the kitchen, slowly pulled over your boyfriend’a hoodie.

peeking inside you notice he’s here, checking something on his phone and a cup of steaming coffee in his other hand.

suddenly he raised his head up, the short hairs falling on his forehead. a smile formed on his lips instantly the second he sees you and he’s putting the mug down as you approach him.

“hi dumpling” you giggled, falling into his arms.

“hello my dear” hyunjin hummed, squeezing your waist gently. you slightly pull away to admire him. the freshly dyed pink hair suit him so much, especially pulled back like that. his face is gently decorated with makeup, almost as if he was too lazy to finish it.

“how was yesterday? i woke up for a moment when you came home, wasn’t it something around 3am?” he asked, leaning over to grab your cup.

you sit down on the chair next to him, nodding tiredly.

“yeah. the photographer wasn’t happy with the results, we were all tired and i had to fix the makeup every single time because we worked with water” you sighed and took the cup from him, nodding as a quiet thank you.

“my poor thing. but i hope you slept well, hm?” hyunjin asked, tilting his head.

his pinkish hair framed his face so prettily, sometimes you wondered how is he even real.

“i did. are you leaving now?” you asked, fighting a yawn.

“i was supposed to but i still need to finish my makeup. i figured you’d want some coffee when you wake up” your boyfriend grinned upon seeing you take a big sip.

you put the cup down and waddled to the bathroom, still not fully awake.

“let me do it for you!” you announced. and hyunjin smirked because that was what he was hoping for.

“sure, whatever!” he answered you, dramatically rolling his eyes when you came back.

you put your makeup supplies on the countertop, grabbing his chin gently. he wrapped his arms around your waist, looking at you with doe eyes.

you worked quickly since you knew he was on schedule. besides, it was just a light makeup and he already did half of the job for you.

you grabbed the lip tint and hyunjin pulled you even closer.

“open your mouth” you commanded. he listened and you put a bit of the tint on your fingertip, applying it on his lips. when it dried, you applied another layer on the middle part of his lips. you blended it and pulled away to take a look of the outcome but hyunjin pulled you back in. as you could predict, he placed a tender kiss on your lips. he smiled softly into the kiss before pulling away.

“damn, i think i smudged it. can you apply it again?” hyunjin sent you a sweet smile, his eyes, however, were sparkling with mischief. you both knew how it’s going to end.

he arrived to the meeting late and with slightly puffy lips. (“yeah, uh, i think i’m allergic to one of y/n’s tints or something…”)

there was nothing he liked more than being cuddled after a long day at work. he loved coming home to your forehead kisses and loved it even more when the two of you got cosy on the couch. sometimes he felt like he could melt from your touch, and he hated every second you were away from him. your soft body pressed against his was so comforting and the warmth was something he wished to bask forever in. cooking sessions were never complete without the two of you bantering while giving playful kisses to each other. he never missed an opportunity to kiss you and you made sure he knew he was loved even if it was just by pinching his cheeks lovingly.

"I'm home bub" a loud thud of the front door finally pulls you out from the dark void, as you quickly get off the couch to greet your boyfriend.

Taking his coat from his hands and plunging it onto the peg, you slowly make your way to the kitchen, reminding yourself that you need to feed three hungry tummies.

"What do you wanna have cheol?" asking him 'bout his preferred meal of the night, without even bothering to look at him, you try to keep yourself occupied with the utensils on the countertop.

"Let's eat out today" seungcheol cooes, as he slowly creeps up on you from behind, snaking his thick firm arms around your waist,with head plopped onto the crook of your neck.

"Not today pls. I don't feel like it" a stiff response parts your lips, while you remain completely indifferent to his wet hair perms brushing againt your nape.

"Pwease bub? Pretty pweasee?" a set of doe sparkly balls along with the cutest plumpy pout stare at you with utmost plea and solicit.

You were about to say no to those heart wrenching puppy eyes, when your feet are brushed with a sudden flooffy coldness. Looking down to see what has swayed by, only to end up finding your daughter kkuma rubbing herself against you, with the same puppy eyes as her dad, as if convincing you to accept cheol's pleas.

"See even our princess wants to go out with you today. So pls y/n???? If not for me, then for kkuma, pls?"

Not even the strongest soldiers on this planet can resist those absolutely lovely entreating beads for more than twice and you? you literally had the softest soft for your two babies ; so it's not a surprise that you'll instantly give in to your boyfriend's sulk.

"Okay okay bubbies, let's go" you give an affirmative nod to both, earning the most aggressive yet happiest tail wag from your babygirl and excited kiddo waddles from her daddy.

The dinner was delectable. There's definitely ain't no lying about the fact that no matter how gloomy or down you're, good food will always bring the brightest smile to your face, after cheol.

"Let's walk kkuma a bit, okay? She hasn't been out for night straddles for quite long" seungcheol lauded, while bending down on his knees to fix his babygirl's hair clip.

You hmm in response while you join the two on their walk, as you slowly stride by their side, enjoying the moonlit still night.

"The moon is beautiful, isn't it?" a soft whisper leaves cheol's lips, trying not to wake up his daughter, who is now sleeping contently on her mother's lap, tired out from the 10 mins walk.

"Thank you for existing cherry" a name that only you're allowed to call him, makes its way out from your crests as your rest your head on his shoulder, with one arm wrapped tightly around his torso and the other tucked as a pillow under your princess's head.

Letting your eyes fall back in peace, you thank the universe for the family that it has sent your way. You may have bad days when the past haunts you, or just normal gloomy days but not a single one goes unnoticed by your boyfriend. You find it a blessing that even without spending a single word about how you feel, seungcheol always manages to read your eyes and make you smile by the end of the day. Can there be anything more beautiful than this?

Wonwoo had a soft spot for the nights where you fell asleep in his lap while he was gaming.

Most of the time, it was because you hated going to bed alone unless you had to. You’d always been the more openly affectionate one in your relationship, and you’d told him outright one day (long after moving in together) that it felt weird to not fall asleep snuggled up close to him. So you’d come into the living room to where he was playing online with his friends on a game system rather than his PC, and you’d lay your head in his lap and watch... until you inevitably fell asleep every single time. He’d asked about it once, and you did have to confess that you didn’t intend to fall asleep. You just wanted to stay close with him until he was done, but the sound of his breathing was calming (even if the occasional things he said weren’t), and usually you ended up dozing off by accident.

Tonight was no different. He had his headset on, controller in hand, and your head using his lap as a pillow. Seungcheol was saying something about his plans to get in and play later this week when Wonwoo starting keeping an eye on the time. The clock ticked over to midnight, and he let out a quiet sigh as he waited for Seungcheol to finish speaking. The moment he did, he spoke up and said he was going to get off for the night.

“I‘ll see you tomorrow,” he said as he started to disconnect.

Only to hear Seungcheol’s quiet ‘tch.’ “We all know you took off today for her. You don’t have to hide it.”

Wonwoo smiled to himself. “That’s why I said I’d see you tomorrow.” Before he bid his farewell and disconnected from the game.

It was only light teasing, and it left him with a lovestruck smile on his face as he looked down at you. He reached out, fingers grazing the side of your face for a moment before he turned off the console. He’d plug in his controller in a few minutes. For now, he was going to admire you for a little longer...

Only for you to stir, finally looking up at him after glancing back at the TV. “You’re done?” Then you sat up, stifling a small yawn. “You didn’t play long...”

“That’s okay,” he said, reaching for the remote. He clicked the TV off, before turning to you. “I’m all yours for the next twenty-four hours.”

The way your brows had drawn together in slight confusion only made him smile. Being able to vex your brain and surprise you like this always made him happy, and maybe he had taken advantage of your sleepy state to be able to do it. He nodded toward the clock, and watched as you put the puzzle pieces together mentally before realization struck.

“Wonwoo--”

He had already slid a little closer to you, pulling you in for a soft kiss. “Happy birthday, my love,” he said as he leaned back, casually dropping the term of endearment just to see you smile. “Whatever you want to do today, I’ll do it.”

You didn’t have plans. Wonwoo knew you didn’t have plans, too. But the fact that he had cleared everything today in order to give you his full attention was sweet, considering he knew that you were used to people being too busy (or on vacation--the pains of a summer birthday) around your birthday. And of course it would be Wonwoo who knew that and found a way to say, without saying it, that he was there for you. That he’d always find time for you.

Maybe the sentiment would make you cry later... but for now you just leaned in to kiss him one more time before going to bed. The two of you could figure out plans when you woke up later. For now, you just wanted to cuddle with him and think vaguely about how you would spend the day with your beloved.
