Brama Opatowska, Sandomierz

Jest gotycką bramą wjazdową z 2 poł. XIV w. Została zbudowana z fundacji Kazimierza Wielkiego, jako element murów obronnych miasta. Z tego okresu pochodzi również rozplanowanie starówki. Miasta strzegły wówczas cztery bramy. Oprócz Bramy Opatowskiej, do centrum można było dostać się przez Bramę Zawichojską, Lubelską, zwaną też Rybacką oraz Krakowską.

Obecnie Brama Opatowska ma ok. 30 m wysokości, choć pierwotnie była nieco niższa. Szczodrość portfela sandomierskiego lekarza Stanisława Bartolona w XVI wieku, pozwoliła wzbogacić bramę o attykę. Warto pamiętać, że z całego sandomierskiego systemu obronnego miasta, do dziś zachowała się jedynie Brama Opatowska wraz z przyległymi fragmentami murów i dolną częścią baszty.

It is a Gothic entrance gate from the 2nd half of the 14th century. It was built by Casimir the Great as part of the city's defensive walls. The planning of the old town also dates from this period. At that time, the city was guarded by four gates. In addition to the Opatowska Gate, you could get to the center through the Zawichojska Gate, the Lublin Gate, also known as the Fisherman's Gate, and the Krakow Gate.

Currently, the Opatowska Gate is approximately 30 m high, although originally it was slightly lower. The generosity of the wallet of the Sandomierz doctor Stanisław Bartolon in the 16th century allowed the gate to be enriched with an attic. It is worth remembering that of the entire Sandomierz city defense system, only the Opatowska Gate together with adjacent fragments of the walls and the lower part of the tower have survived to this day.

西格纳吉被称为爱之城，和格鲁吉亚画家尼克.皮罗斯马尼分不开。因为西格纳吉是他的家乡。而百万玫瑰花的故事也发生在那里。他为了仰慕的法国女芭蕾舞演员，卖掉房子，买了百万玫瑰花献给她，最后自己贫困交加而死。导游说，那个女人看上去也不太美，我不会为了这么个女人这样做。
