It's fun to remember that Sung Hyunje is canonically taller than Song Taewon. Taewon is just broader and bulkier. Also the height difference isn't that major (it's just five cm), but I think people get the impression that since Taewon is bigger than just about everyone and tanky, he is also bigger than Hyunje. No, he is in fact not lol At least not in terms of height (since Hyunje is a little less muscular than at least Taewon, specifically).

Sung Hyunje = 197 centimeters tall (from his character profile in Volume 14 of the Korean ebook release)

Song Taewon = 193 centimeters tall (from his character profile in Volume 8 of the Korean ebook release)

I think people might also be confused because more people have read the manhwa adaptation than the novel, and the first time they're standing next to each other on-page in the manhwa, Taewon is seemingly shown to be taller. However, like in a lot of shots, the viewing angle is kind of exaggerated for narrative reasons, so Taewon seems to be taller/is angled in a way in shots where he appears taller, but it's not a 1:1 height comparison (though sometimes Hyunje is shown similarly, but not in a way that's a fair height comparison, either). Like shots like this are often the closest we get (or shots where they're standing but not near each other):

It would probably be less visually interesting if these shots weren't angled the way they are, so we don't get a more accurate look of them facing each other on a flat surface.

Otherwise they're just not close enough for comparison or one of them is standing and the other one is sitting down. But the heights listed for them in the manhwa adaptation are the same as what's in the novel. Again, it's just five cm, but Hyunje is in fact taller than Taewon.

Mumbo has still been plaguing my head like 24/7, but I just want to share these because honestly I’m really proud on how these random doodles turned out especially that mace one ! He is actually so fun to draw it’s great !!

the charm of the first two class of 09 games were the balance of satire and realism (which are enhanced by the voice acting) that redeem the 'anti-visual novel' intention too well. class of 09 was fun because we get moments that feel real. there's nicole's arguements with her mom and the conversations between any of the teenagers are time-period accurate despite the cartoonishness

the comedy works because the dialogue flows well. the dark humor and shock value are carefully executed. the edginess works because of the writing knowing its limits

it knows when to be funny (mr lorre meeting up with nicole) and when to take itself seriously (nicole talking about her experience as a myspace escort)

i really think that nicole being a bad person without bigotry (most of the time) is what makes its comedy work.

flipside fails miserably and feels like a disconnection from the other two games. when jecka suffers it's just for the sake of suffering. it isnt like in the other two games where nicole suffers as consequence. honestly, flipside just looks like what class of 09 would be without the proper care it was given. it focused too much on trying to be edgy and funny that it doesnt execute the realism. nicole's mom was written in a way that feels real. her multiple divorces are comedically cartoonish but when she's on screen and voice acted she actually behaves like a real life mother. jecka's dad has none of that. he just says things and yells when he wants to.

good lird. last night something came over me and i sought out my theatre class recordings. my line delivery was pretty good, i spoke pretty clearly and loudly when I feel like Normally i slur my speech/mumble, and honestly i think i did a good job of not talking too fast bc That’s Also A Problem for me when i get nervous, but i truly did not know how to stand and look natural. i probably still don’t regardless of acting
