Hey Wire! Question about April,is there a cannon reason she got kicked out? Like is there family drama?
She was kicked out because she and her family have always had major disagreements with each other. It was a very "18 and out" kind of situation for her, but the final straw for her parents kicking her out was her slapping her mother during a very heated argument.
She stayed with Tanner for a short period of time after that, before they both moved down to Lystrike together with Leon.

You might think being in a tiny fandom with no content is as bad as it gets but there is a worse alternative and it's being in a tiny fandom with one really prolific and beloved artist whose content you can't fucking stand

in my mind palace im taking all of my favorite protagonists to get burgers. harry du bois is predictably crying over the happy meal. harrow is sitting in corner booth with her nastiest glare while fiddlling with a bone. skitter is having an awkward but heartfelt conversation with a blind paul atreides over their respective atrocities while feeling horrified over how many bugs she could detect that are crawling under harry's clothes. alia is scowling over harry's body odor but is glad to see her brother back. victoria tries to get everyone to therapy but gets distracted over harry's fashion sense. ben, rex, and gideon are having a friendly swordfight in the parking lot. gideon wins. kim kitsuragi is protecting his car with his life. josuke and yasuho are ordering fried chicken in a burger restaurant.

i drove home a slightly different way yesterday and it took me through flag country (houses with flagpoles is Not common here except for this one street and idk what they have going on) and one house had this utter monstrosity of a pride union jack and it brought me so much happiness. I’ve seen exactly One instance of a pride flag Not being rainbow capitalism here before. How much of a repellent eyesore it was was worth it, actually.

the entire first asgard segment in Cod of War 2 made me scream. odin is sooooooo. a tyrant, a god slash ceo that's on some level tired of all that and wanting more, a fucked up patriarch of a fucked up family. to be clear that's not the qualities that endear me, only make him more interesting, but he's just sooo fun to listen to. (i will probably reevaluate my opinion on him once his motivation is cleared up - they still have time to say it was all a trick~ and a performance and flatten his character to shit.) can't not mention heimdall being a bitch and thor being an even bigger bitch. chefskiss

it's been said many times before but it is interesting that patriarchy means the rule of fathers, not just men, but in so many discussions it's treated as if it's entirely about gender, and not at all about. you know. ageism.
