I love Shuro and Laios's argument. Shuro is like 'I hate you because you're awkward and annoying and tou can't read social cues/situations !' and Laios is like 'then why the hell didn't you tell me you couldn't stand me ???' and Shuro answers with something like 'well I tried to send you signals !'. Buddy. Pal. Think for two seconds.

IDEA BASED ON ARCHON QUEST A G A I N
For the case of Lyney, reader who’s from fontaine attended the trial.(ig it implies fem reader bit fuck canon gn reader supremacy)
After getting out however; there was an attempt at making them victim of serial disappearances just like how Navia was targeted and almost turned to water; someone spiked reader’s drink with primordial sea water.
Childe(as human form while in fontaine city)was the one who realized that the drink looked a but watered down and simply wrong before he heard light of the disappearances in fontaine and it made his blood boil when he realized that someone was planning to make his precious beloved dissolve into water. He became extremely cautious and careful; checking every drink or every piece of liquid that would even come close to reader. Sometimes even having to hold himself back from transforming into FL like he does when he’s more overprotective
So when he got accused as the person behind serial disappearances; he was ready to beat the shit out of someone. he’s mad, he is PISSED. when the machine of justice of whatever places him guilty however? that was it, the extremely overprotective FL could not be held back.
YEAHHHH MORE ARCHON QUEST BRAINROT LET'S GOOOO
as soon as Childe hears about the disappearances and the primordial sea, he wants to get you out of Fontaine and to somewhere safer- or at least somewhere you couldn't dissolve into water. but Fontaine is your home, and he couldn't just uproot your entire life, so he has to settle for keeping an eye on your drinks and food at all times. Foul Legacy hisses just below the surface, barely restrained, and Childe makes do with holding you tightly at night, burying his face in the crook of your neck and mumbling that you'll be okay, you have to be okay
sometimes Foul Legacy comes out while he's asleep to hold you close, but he always makes sure to be back in his human form before you're awake
his trial comes out of nowhere, seemingly just because he's a Harbinger, and Childe has to keep himself from snapping in irritation the whole time. even when he thinks he's free, that old judge calls him back to have his verdict decided- and he's guilty. this must be a mistake, it has to be. how dare they accuse him of being behind the disappearances, when you, his partner, was almost killed the same way?! he can't- and doesn't want to- hold Foul Legacy back anymore, and his Abyssal half lets out an enraged roar. but he doesn't turn to attack, no, instead he zeroes in on you, the only audience member not screaming, and leaps over. with a hiss he curls around you, his fury only subsiding as you reach out to stroke his face, acutely aware of the eyes watching your every move. you hush Foul Legacy, a small smile on your face as he begins to purr before you catch the sound of approaching footsteps. Childe growls warningly, and you turn to stare firmly into the eyes of Chief Justice Neuvillette as he contemplates what to do next

Greetings once again, Nori.
I have arrived safely at Akala Island and have decided to pursue the Guardian of this place in order to aid my companion, but there is a bit of an oversight.
In order to gain entry to the Ruins of Life, I must get approval from a human who is of Alolan descent as it is very sacred and hallowed ground. As I am currently aware, you work in collaboration with humans and wish to ask of their assistance, though I know not if they would be of much help given that they are scientists and not those whose primary focus is on culture.
If there is any way for us to get in contact, let me know as soon as possible. Thank you.
The Guardian of Akala Island? I sincerely hope you know what you are doing, the Tapus are not creatures to be taken lightly. The stories of their destruction travel farther than the stories of their forgiveness and I would hate for you to get hurt. Still, I believe I may know a few people who could help. Tod, for instance, has completed the “Island Challenge” an ancient tradition in Alola where the upcoming generation travels the region to prove themselves in battle. As such I am fairly certain he has permission from the Tapus to travel upon sacred ground. Otherwise he might be able to contact the Akala Kahuna (a position of power earned through leadership and the Tapu’s blessing) who could take you there.
Just… be careful.

modern oscar and morris have never paid for the metro in their lives. does not even occur to them to pay. oscar climbs over the turnstiles, boots scuffing hard against the metal, and then turns around and reaches a hand out to help keep morris steady as he pulls himself gracefully over too, the way he climbs over the fire escape rails in uksies.

Idk why but it just hit me that Serizawa and Dimple never interact, as far as I'm aware (feel free to correct me)
As such, I can say whatever I want about their possible dynamic, so the new hill I'll die on is that Dimple helps Serizawa with his math homework
