I love your idea of a darling who cleans his enclosure and forms a friendship with him over time!! Prolonged exposure to darling will undoubtedly soften octomouche. <3 and it may also cause him to form an unhealthy attachment, but that's besides the point!! And bonding over the loneliness!!! I love the trope where two lonely characters meet and grow closer and suddenly they aren't so lonely anymore because they have each other. orz it works so well for Scara aaaaa!!!

IT IS!!!! I LOVE JOHN WICK SO MUCH UWAHHHHHH

I already had the fic's plot done before I watched it, and after watching it I tweaked a ton of things. Originally, the hotel they went to wasn't supposed to be Snezhnaya but Monstadt and the owner isn't Arlecchino but Kaeya! I scrapped that after watching chapter 4 because I want Kaeya to be Caine.

Kaeya as (yan!)Caine would be great imo. Instead of a protecting a daughter though, it'd be his crush. Imagine that in this au, Diluc died. Lost in his grief and failure to save his brother from syndicates, he heard a violin street performer. Diluc used to play the violin too, and for once, Kaeya felt at peace. He felt like all his sins– his transgressions were forgiven.

Thus, he had grown to wanting to save violinist!reader from harm. Especially now that the Abyss Order is using them against him.

... Tl;dr Winston was supposed to be Kaeya but thankfully Arlecchino fits better with her whole "can't be trusted" agenda lol

P.s: oh and also Arataki is supposed to be the Bowery King with onikabutos instead of pigeons but unfortunately he is irrelevant to the plot lmao

That’s a great inquiry! At first when I got this I was confused on what exactly the controversy was around the creator of yandere simulator and through some quick digging I came to the conclusion of tweaking the tags!

So All the previous old posts with the original yandere simulator tag won’t be changed!

However, in future posts there won’t be any yandere simulator tags! Since I’ll tweak it and generally use tags focusing on CYOA/Otome/dating sim/ect and any other tags that’ll eventually come to mind from here on out! (^◇^;)

Yandere octopus! Scaramouche

In celebration for mermay I did this withthe inspiration from @merakiui 's headcannon on Octomouche

Yan Scara is still one of my favs and add that Octopus shit and it just clicks

Like Lil Octopus with the most beautiful tentacles growing attached to one of the workers that work on the facility containing him. Maybe he was captured after already growing some resentment towards humans. Here comes Lil cleaner darling that makes sure he is comfy whenever no one is looking out of pity.

Cleaner darling who is a bit scared of the sheer size of their new companion during her lonely shifts.

Darling that sneaks bittersweet treats into his tank whenever he isnt looking cuz they know they are her favourite.

Lil lamb that doesnt notice how the Octomer stares at them confused.

Little pathetic darling that jumps the first time he speaks to them.

They start having some idle talk while darling cleans up. Everytime, the conversations become longer and longer until they stay overtime just to chat.

"Kunikuzushi"

"Huh?"

"Are you deaf as you are thick? I just told you my name"

"..."

"....why aren't you saying anything?"

"Thats.. a really pretty name... I like it ^^"

He gave out a nasty glare and a pout, trying to disguise his ever more present blush.

"Can I call you Kuni?" They asked meekly.

"Don't push it human" he spat.

In the end he ended up letting them use that name in return for letting him call them shrimpy.
