Apparently since I've stepped away from the objectum community there has been some weird exclusion towards Plushum people.

I just wanna state this blog is a safe space for all plush lovers with any form of attraction (sexual, romantic, platonic, ect.)

We have plushum alters, infact our objectum awakening started with a plushie.

Honestly, sometimes the story beats you with the fact things are wrong. I've shown that in stuff regarding Hawks's murder of Jin and that was STILL more subtle than whatever the fuck this is. None of this is good or helped and fuck if it's not heartbreaking to see what Spinner turned himself into.

Yeah, what HE turned himself into. Because ultimately he did let AFO do this to him. You think Spinner couldn't have walked away? I think he could have. You think Spinner couldn't have asked Dabi and Toga what to do? I think he could have, because those two are just not even engaging with what's happening to Tomura and maybe seeing them like that could have really spelt it out for Spinner that somewhere all of this had gone deeply wrong.

There's no positivity here. This is a tragedy. It's meant to be read like one. Spinner adores his friend for the traits and wishes of his that are a direct result of his trauma and grooming. Spinner finds inspiration in actions that only served to rob Tomura of free will. Spinner contributed to that. Spinner let someone turn him into the thing he kept begging people to understand he wasn't - a monster because it stopped mattering as much to him as Tomura. This isn't good.

Seriously. This is why I was holding my tongue for months about all of this and not engaging with people obsessed with Spinner's relationship with Tomura. I don't understand why people can't clearly see how fucked up this all is and it makes me really frightened of how many of you live your lives for other people to the point of self-destruction and think that's healthy or normal.

Besides the effects of his trauma, do you think touya has a personality disorder that was never addressed?

I agree that he was mentally not ok from a very early age. I do think that in several places he goes way beyond a "normal trauma reaction" (if such a thing even exists... What I mean is that his reactions are not average or expected in such a situation). Overall, the Todoroki family is not your common abusive family, they are extremely out of the normal and usual, messed up to the core

If we talking about Touya as a child then I doubt you can diagnose someone so young with a personality disorder. Though I was today years old when I found out about a thing called Personality development disorder. It's a new term and is not recognized in DSM and ICD (yet?) I skimmed through the Wikipedia page for it and it seems interesting. It is also considered a predecessor to adult personality disorder if left untreated

If we are talking about adult Touya then definitely personality disorder is very possible. I am sure it would be Cluster B (dramatic, emotional or erratic disorders); he certainly lacks empathy and enjoys being overdramatic. I feel like histrionic or narcissistic personality disorders would suit him the most but that would require a deeper analysis

I took some interest in personality disorders previously. Actually, if you want, I can go deeper into that and compare Dabi-Touya's behaviour to diagnostic criteria (send me another ask if you want that, I will try to look more into it once I have more time). Though you should remember I am not a psychologist and I do this for fun

EDIT: Just to be clear, a personality disorder can be the effect of his trauma so not necessarily an addition to his issues but a result of them

i’ll put it on fuyumi’s page once i get it up but i feel like this needs 2 be here as i get more followers:  fuyumi as i write her incorporates the majority of the backstory given to the todorokis in the hellish todoroki family chapters - specifically the presented information that touya suffered from violent and often cruel mood swings & was not oppose to taking out those feelings on his younger siblings.  i can be pretty flexible regarding wether or not it was intentional and even wether or not he and fuyumi had a positive relationship outside of these outbursts, but since these incidences are integral to the way i write fuyumi & her relationship with her family & her relationship with life in general, i cannot and will not budge on them. 

intentional or not: touya was fuyumi’s primary abuser & is the reason she harbors the majority of the trauma that she does.  yes, they were both children but children can and frequently do abuse and traumatize their siblings.  yes, both their mother and father hold a huge amount of responsibility for this being the case, but that does not invalidate fuyumi’s feelings nor negate the fact that it happened.  

fuyumi does not support a single thing dabi is doing.  she doesn’t particularly want to welcome him back into the family unless he’s ready to change paths completely and better himself as a person.  in fact, for the most part, fuyumi has said in threads before that she preferred touya when he was dead.  IF he came to her and legitimately wanted to seek psychological help and atone for the crimes he’s committed, she’d be just as willing to support him as she is to support the rest of her family.  but as it stands he’s not doing anything to prove he’s deserving of or wants forgiveness.  her little brothers are what matter to her first and foremost and he’s admitted to having natuso kidnapped and tried to kill shouto on national television.  she isn’t on his side.  if that’s a plot you’re expecting to see here, you’re in the wrong place and i will not take it personally if u soft block me.
