An AU where Touya realizes since he was little that he does not feel like a woman, that's why at a dinner when he takes the courage to tell his family about his feelings and how he wants them to refer to him only to be belittled by his father.

High school was torture for him since he could never feel comfortable with himself, until at university he met a shy black-haired boy, who was studying to be a surgeon. After a beautiful friendship of two years they decided to be a couple, everything was happiness, but inside Touya was afraid, he was afraid of telling his partner what he really felt and that he would reject him, and say the same horrible things that his father had told him saying.

When he can no longer keep this secret, he breaks down and tells her how he feels and how he would like to be referred to now. He cried when he heard his partner's words, how he accepted him and how he promised him that when he got his degree and doctorate he would operate on Touya to make his transition from girl to boy.

That night they slept more in each other's arms than ever and with a peace that made Touya smile all night. Finally his birthday wish that he made every year had come true, he finally had someone who understood him and loved him no matter what.

Idea: Transmasc Dabi who doesn't know what periods are. He never got the talk from his parents, and he went into his coma before his started.

By the time he first notices it, weeks after he woke up, he's already had a litany of random pain & bleeding so he doesn't notice anything too unusual about it. And he never realizes that it comes on a schedule because who would bother to keep track of stuff like that? Not him.

He only realizes what it is after he joins the league and Toga talks about her cycle.

I really hope this doesn't sound offensive, but I headcannon dabi as a person with dissociative identity disorder. I know he's just a traumatized and insane person, but I can't help but think that it would be so freaking cool It is and would also give another layer of depth to the character

Again, that's just my opinion, I'm sorry if it sounded offensive and I'm open to debating this headcannon
