Day 31: Family

Welcome, Brother.

Through living through his ancestors in search for pieces of Eden, I love that Desmond learned and was inspired by their lives and lessons in turn.

Desmond learned of Altaïr’s redemption and reshaping his own philosophy through love of others, Ezio’s undying love for family (blood and found) and how to find closure, and Ratonhnhaké:ton’s perseverance and kindness through the darkest of times.

And he wishes he would have had them in his own life

Day 1: SYNC

"His name is Desmond Miles, and he has brought us to the end."

My intention was to portray how in the saga, Desmon takes a back seat. He is important, yes, but only because of his DNA with his ancestors.

We live the story of Altair, Ezio and Connor but little of Desmond (his eyes closed as if his perspective is not important).

Enkidu 💙 a male Eastern imperial eagle. Former companion of the Alamut Hidden One Basim Ibn Ishaq during the events of AC Mirage.

"I had this colleague. He was our boss's son. I didn't much care for him at the start. Everyone treated him like he was so bloody special. To me, he just wasn't invested in anything that didn't affect him personally. But, I was wrong about him. He became my friend. Put himself through hell. And he saved us all in the end. So I reckon… Well, I can't apologize to him, but I can, I don't know. I can try and live up to his example."

Summary: Shay and you are challenged to a race

“Come on lass, I know you can keep up with me!”

Damn these long robes sometimes! You had trained countless hours in them yet when Shay had a crazy idea

Running along the roofs and rafters of the city, you tried to keep up pace with Shay. Normally you could but something was just driving this man crazy, at least more than usual.

“Some of us aren’t tall as you Shay! Hold up!”

Just as you reached the chimneys of one house, Shay popped out from a hiding spot.

“Too slow!, why don’t I just carry ya, hmm? Wouldn’t that be faster?”

You barely had time to register what he was implying before Shay scoped you into his arms and took a leap of faith from one of the higher roofs to below.

He laughed quietly under his breath as you tried to catch yours.

“Never do that again….”
