1. Juanaflippas reappearance.

The dead eggs came back just for today and we got lots of angst from ALL of the players

Lore wise, this was fucking big. It's now confirmed the "Juanaflippa" that has been hanging out with Charlie this entire time is indeed *not* our old Juanaflippa. This is confirmed because today, the juanaflippa that came back remembered everything.

But none the less, she was extremely nice and loving to our codey Charlie. She was SUPER physically affectionate and hugged Charlie practically the entire time he was there. She was also super happy to see everyone! But nonetheless, there is some deep shit behind her appearance. She wants Charlie to get rid of the code all over him, wants him to heal, and still wants to hang out with him in the fucking rat king they made.

(ALSO FUCKING EPIC MENTION TO THE FACT SHE HAD A TRANS FLAG AND CHARLIE CHEERED??? THAT WAS WHOLESOME AS FUCK AS SOMEONE UNDER THE UMBRELLA.

2. "Juanaflippa" (aka Codeflippa)

An update on what we got from (real)Juanaflippa is that she's completely and utterly not Juanaflippa. She's not at all apart of her and she's not connected to her. But she does know how to immitate her (to a limit ex. The "accent")

I personally don't think Codeflippa has any real intent against Charlie. She genuinely seems to love hanging out with him and meeting new people. She's never tried to hurt Charlie, and I doubt the infection is intentional.

In past streams Charlie has brought up the code to flippa and she said she doesn't know what that is.

She's also expressed fear to her dad about the man. You know, the man with the glasses in the picture.

(I wonder when we get a update on that.)

If she is trying to hurt Charlie and/or infect him she's being put up to it.

(In my opinion)

Possibly by the federation, as they've stated she's a released experiment, or... A failed one.

I'll let you think on that.

3. Slimecicle lore affects (aka Codecicle)

Slimecicle is still under the illusion that "Juanaflippa" is normal and was brought back to life as a gift for his birthday. On a positive note, he's a lot happier knowing for once in his life his egg is here. And she doesn't seem to be leaving. She's happy with him and hes happy with her!

On a negative note.

The code from Juanaflippa has been affecting his body so much and he's just deterioting more and more into code.

And he seriously doesn't have alot of body left before it's taken over completely.

Now while I'm all for a full slimecicle code skin I'm pretty damn sure things are going to go South soon. This arc will be over. And Codeflippa as much as I love her... Shes going to die.

4. Charlie lore but with Cellbit

As many know Cellbit is going fucking crazy. He's sick and fucking TIRED of the federation. They're taking his kids and he wants them back. NOW. Cellbit may not like Codeflippa, but he's not above using someone who he believes is using his friend to his advantage. Thus, using Charlie and his absolute murderous will to tear anything apart living or dead for his daughter. Without hesitation.

Cellbits will to destroy the federation and get his eggs back and Charlies will to keep flippa with him, f0r3√3r. Make the perfect pair! They're going to commit attrocies together and no matter what they're going to protect their eggs at a moment's notice.

His everyone, wingdings here, I'm taking my time rn to make this announcement real quick to apologize and clarify some things.

So first of all I really want to apologize for taking so long with the prizes for the contest, I AM STILL GETTING YOU YOUR PRIZES but it will probably only be a chibi anymore, I'm sorry.

Why? Well I'm mostly doing all this on my own- no judge- codey is a very busy man and tbh i might've started too many projects at once! And with the problems I've been having irl all together got me to just break

because I'm putting a huge amount of pressure on myself to do all this on my own I have been breaking down slowly and at this point right now I feel like I've completely lost touch with any of my projects.

So to come to an point. I'll be stepping down.

I'm not going to actively work on this or any other projects of mine anymore, I'll be working a little on this one and maybe Shatteredtales in the background and do what I promised but you won't see much from me on the internet anymore.

I just simply need time to recover and maybe I wanna start a new as someone else, start all over again and do it right this time.

It’s largely the shipping that is causing the issues. I like both PheeNon and PheeJin for different reasons. JinNon would be cute too in different universe. PheeNon is the classic high school/first love romance . It’s sweet, innocent and full of butterfly’s and idealistic. We always hope for the first love to be the one but it’s rare that it is. It’s something that we’ll always remember though regardless of how many loves we have for the rest of our lives.

Just based on what we’ve seen so far PheeJin is more adult, sexually charged and intense. Some would say it’s morally wrong for them to be together but sometimes I like couples that are so wrong, they’re right. It seems like they can read each other well and therefore they know what the other person needs. So there is potential for a long term relationship. If the feelings are real.

I agree with you, and I honestly don't understand it. I have ghost ships that aren't even really seen on screen together from other shows. Just enjoy your ship? And especially when it comes to PheeNon I'm like - the show is billed as TaCopper's show. They earned it when they won THC. Why are you kicking up a fuss like that's "taking away" from Barcode? It makes no sense to me, particularly since Codey has Wuju Bakery coming out next month.

I liked PheeNon, they were cute. I also liked the potential of JinNon. PheeJin is and has been my main ship the entire time so of course I'm biased, but I agree with you. PheeNon was very much first love, high school love, puppy love. They stepped past each other's boundaries. They lied to each other. They hurt each other and broke up. I think PheeJin has was more potential for a longer lasting relationship IF (and these are big ifs):

They can learn to talk to each other

Phee can get over Jin taking the video

Jin can get over Phee getting close to him with an ulterior motive

I also don't even think it's wrong for them to be together tbh. For the most part, they're the least-awful of all the characters. I wrote a meta previously about how the two of them were parallels in episode 7 in how they reacted to Non. I think both of them's biggest sins were reacting in anger to a situation where they didn't have all the context. They both deserve the opportunity to heal and move on and learn to love again, even if what they did in those moments was bad.

Anyway, thanks for the message! I agree with you, and I wish this fandom was a little less tiresome but at least it hasn't entirely ruined the fun!

A house sits quiet in the woods, far from the cities and towns down the unpaved road. Rain pitter-patters across the roof, a quiet deluge, a contrast to the stillness within the structure. Early morning sunlight is diffused with the rain, peering into the kitchen window. Shadows creep and crawl, and find their way to the sun-lacking basement. With no windows here, the only light comes from a laptop screen, glowing iridescent in the darkness.

Ding!

The computer sings, announcing the completion of a process.

A groan, a rustling of blankets in the shadows.

“Shit.”

The lights unceremoniously turn on, and the figure in the sloppily kept bed squints through shaggy hair and stubble, only to hide under the blankets again. A second figure– an older woman –stands at the stairs leading into the basement, a hand on her hip.

“Jesse, are you still in bed? Christ, it’s getting late. Your father made breakfast before he left, so come get some while it’s warm.”

“Ughh…. ‘M coming.” Jesse makes no move to get up.

“Remember you have a job interview this morning. You need to iron your outfit, okay? I’m not doing it for you.” Jesse’s mother picks up a discarded soda can with a grimace, tossing it in the nearly overflowing trash can.

“I know.”

“Make sure you do some research on the company before you leave too.”

“Mm-hm.”

“Are you getting up or not? Come on, honey, we’ve got to leave soon.”

“Uh-huh.”

Finally, Jesse stumbles out of bed, yawning and sweaty. Satisfied that she’s standing and fumbling for a hoodie, their mother nods and leaves with a “see you upstairs, sweetie.”

Hoodie acquired, Jesse sits back on the bed and considers going back to bed. Their tongue runs over their teeth, velvety with plaque. Their breath stinks. Her hair is greasy. Everything feels grimy and gross.

The last thing they want right now is to iron clothes and go to a job interview. She should just cancel. But Mom will throw a fit, so they might as well suck it up and make an attempt.

Ding!

Their laptop catches their eye again– oh. It’s done. She sits at the desk overflowing with figurines and baubles, post it notes and sketchbooks. The new program their friend had sent them worked. So… now what? They aren’t really sure what it was supposed to do, actually. Just that their friend ‘xXCodeWizord223Xx’ had sent it to them to try out with a piece of art.

The piece in question: a favored character of theirs, featured in a webcomic they’ve been slogging through for the last… five years. Now in an unending hiatus. Kitty Bomb, a black anthropomorphic cat girl with a penchant for exploding things. She gets into hijinks, she has friends, she has charisma and one liners. She’s everything Jesse isn’t.

The program CodeWizord had sent her says triumphantly: “Congratulations! Your character’s been Appearified! Have fun, and let xXCodeWizord223Xx know if you have any questions. :3”

“‘Appearified?’” They squint at the screen, trying to remember what CodeWizord had said this thing was going to do to their art. Admittedly, she had been nearly asleep when Codey had sent her the program and explained everything.

“Jesse, you coming?” Her mother yells from above.

“Yeah, one second…” They reply.

Whatever. The original file’s still intact and their computer’s still working. She’ll ask ol’ Codey more about it later.

“Last question. How would your friends describe you?” A too-smiling face asks from across the desk. It’s a smile Jesse knows well– a smile of pity. The interviewer probably knows the last several questions have been time wasters to save Jesse’s pride. Not that she has much to begin with. The room is cramped, smells like ink and coffee and cleaner, and the walls are gray with blasé inspirational posters tacked on as an afterthought.

Jesse squirms in the business suit, her hair wrangled back into a ponytail. Her mother had insisted on make up– she’s certain it’s smeared across their face by now.

“Er– well…” They make up a friend… but the friend in their head can only see her flaws and shitty attitude. “Um…” They glance around the room, struggling to stay afloat. “They would say, um, that I’m… creative. And, uh… fun to be around.” She catches the word ‘team’ on a poster. “I’m a, uh… team player?” She doesn’t mean to make it sound like a question. Shit.

The smiling face nods and writes something down.

“Alright. Do you have any questions for me?”

A sudden shift in vision makes the world go strange and iridescent for a second. She blinks, unsure, confused, a hand at her head.

“Er… no.”

Jesse leaves the building in a daze, standing outside to wait for their mom to come back and pick them up. Where did she go? They tug at the sleeve of their suit, feeling like at any minute they’ll become engulfed in the stiff material.

“Excuse me? Do you have the time?” Someone asks suddenly.

In a panic they pull out their phone, fumbling for an answer.

“Er… it’s–”

“It’s BOMB-O’CLOCK!”

A weight on their shoulder makes them turn– eyes wide.

Kitty Bomb holds out a cartoon bomb, the character hanging off of Jesse’s shoulder. The bomb is thrown at the foot of the stranger before Jesse can protest or even process the situation.

A cartoon cloud with an onomatopoeic ‘BOOM’ covers them both.

When the cloud clears, both she and the stranger are cartoonishly singed.

“Oh my god–”

“What in the world!?”

A hand tugs at their hand– Kitty Bomb is smiling up at them, fangs glinting. “Come on, Jesse! Let’s blow this popsicle stand!”

“Wha–”

But the small cat person is stronger than she looks, and before Jesse knows it they’re running through the streets, past faceless strangers and over busy crosswalks. Jesse runs in a daze, breathless– but not just for the physical exertion, but for the sight before her. Kitty Bomb, holding her hand, smiling and real and alive. No matter how hard she tries to wake up, she knows this is real.

Kitty Bomb’s feet kick freely where she sits on the park bench, licking happily at a cone of ice cream that Jesse had just handed her. Jesse only sits next to her, her shitty mascot popsicle melting dumbly as she stares at the figment of her imagination in the flesh.

“Why are you… here?” They ask, eyes wide.

“Uh, you brought me here, silly! Remember that code program thingy? It brought me here!”

Jesse blinks. “But, that’s. That’s impossible.”

“Nuh-uh. I’m here, aren’t I?”

“Well–”

With a startling ‘chomp!’, Kitty Bomb finishes off her ice cream cone. “You made me, right?”

“...Yeah?”

“Fantastic!” She stands on the bench, face to face with them. “I’ve always wanted to ask you what happens next in my story!”

“Your… oh.” They sweat under their collar, discomfort and guilt unsettling their stomach. “Your story, right. Um. I…” she sighs– she’s never been a good liar. “I’m sorry. I don’t know. That’s why it’s been so long since I, uh, updated the comic. Sorry.”

“Oh.” The disappointment is evident, but brief. “Well, that’s okay! I can help you.”

“I… don’t know if you can. It’s…” It’s not just that they don’t know what happens next, but that life has just been… too hard. They don’t have any energy, they don’t have a job, they don’t have steady income. They don’t have any help or resources for writing. They’re a shit writer and artist anyway. They don’t know what happens next. They’ve given up. But how can they tell Kitty Bomb that? “It’s complicated.”

“Complicated, Shmomplicated. Let’s brainstorm. Let’s see… we last left off with me and my friends in an epic battle of the bombs! Us versus the Evil Detonatorious!”

Jesse cringes at the name, but can’t help a smirk. “Listen, Kitty Bomb… even if we come up with what happens next–”

“I was just about to throw out my ultimate bouncy bomb attack, right? Right? Or, wait no, maybe I’ll shoot him with my berry bazooka! Wouldn’t that be fun?”

“Well– I mean, I guess. But I think, um, your friends were supposed to be a part of the final hit too.”

“Even better!” Kitty Bomb cries– park goers are confused, but keeping to themselves. “We can all join together and save the day with our friendship bombs!”

“Kitty, I can’t–”

“And then Detonatorious will be defeated and the day will be saved. Another successful adventure with me and my friends. Doesn’t that sound fun?”

“Sure, but… isn’t that too obvious? And my art style will have changed so much since I last uploaded a page, and I haven’t written anything in so long, a-and– and I need a job!” Jesse laments, emotions bubbling up. “I’m sorry, Kitty Bomb, but I can’t work on your story anymore. I can’t. I have to be an adult now and– I’m such a loser, I’m so sorry. I still live my parents and I don’t have a job and everything is just too much, but I should be able to deal with it because there are so many people who deal with so much worse and–”

Kitty Bomb suddenly claps her hands on either side Jesse’s face, making them look directly into Kitty’s cartoon eyes.

“Don’t worry about it, Jesse! Life is hard, but you’ll always have me! It’s not like you can just make a perfect story overnight, right?”

“...N-no… but I feel bad for you and your friends. I feel bad for the people who were following your story.”

“Silly!” Kitty laughs, letting her go. “No one’s expecting perfection. And it’s your story, just as much as mine. You want to finish it someday, right?”

“Yeah. Yes, I really do.”

“Then get yourself to a point where you can work on it.”

Jesse blinks, already overwhelmed. “How…?”

Kitty shrugs. “How would you write me if one of my friends needed help?”

“You’d help them, of course.”

“So treat yourself that way. Silly.” She jumps down from the bench. “And I think we need to have some fun today! Follow me!”

“Wait– Kitty Bomb, where are you going?”

It’s no use– she’s off, and Jesse is fast to follow her.

The arcade, the mall, the boardwalk– it’s a flash of color in Jesse’s eyes as she struggles to keep Kitty Bomb contained at least a little. But at the end of the day, she and the cartoon cat lean on the railing of the boardwalk, looking out at the water. Well– Kitty sits on the railing beside her.

Jesse’s long since taken off her outer suit jacket, sweating like crazy in the sun and anxiety of newness around them.

They sigh. “My mom’s gonna go crazy when she finds us,” they say, closing their eyes against the wind. “But I don’t know if I care right now.”

Kitty snickers. “That’s the spirit!” A quiet space lingers, before Kitty talks again. “I know it hasn’t been very long, but I do have to go at some point… soon.”

“Huh?” Alarms go off in Jesse’s head. “How do you know? Why?”

“It’s that program. It’s got its limits. But that’s okay,” she smiles at them– the most genuine smile they’ve seen in a long time. “I’m so happy I got to meet you.”

Kitty smothers them with a hug, catching them off guard– they hug her back with a fierceness they hadn’t expected from themself.

“Please don’t go.”

“I’m not really going anywhere– I’m just as imaginary as before, you know!”

Jesse knows she’s right, but still, this has been the best day she’s had in so long. She doesn’t want this to end. She doesn’t want to go back to reality. She doesn’t want a dumb job. She doesn’t want to go back to being a loser who lives in their parents’ basement.

“I promise I’ll finish your story. And it’ll be good.”

Kitty laughs. “It doesn’t have to be good.”

She’s right… but still. Jesse wants it to be good. For Kitty. For Jesse.

“Oh– I think I have to leave now. Tell Codey I said hi!” Kitty beams.

“Codey–” But before they can finish their thought, a bright flash of iridescence and color overwhelms their vision. When it passes, Kitty is gone.

But… she isn’t gone. She’s waiting at home, sitting in her laptop files. Waiting, patiently.

Jesse sighs, bittersweet and… well a little more bitter than sweet.

She still needs a job. And friends. And a life.

But, they suppose those are pretty achievable goals, in the grand scheme of things.

“Uh…” A voice interrupts their thoughts. A woman about her age stands nearby, eyes wide. “Did that… cat… child…? Just. Disappear?”

Jesse laughs a little awkwardly. “Uh. Yeah. It’s a long story.”

To their surprise, the woman doesn’t dismiss it as ‘not her business’ as she sort of expected she would. Instead she comes closer, intrigue clear on her face.

“Oh my gosh. Please, tell me everything.”

“R-really? I, uh–”

“I’m Nadia, by the way.”

“J–”

“JESSE!”

Their mom’s voice rings out across the serene environment– she’s approaching from around the bend, and fast. Jesse winces, realizing how late it is, how long it is since the job interview was. She shoots Nadia an apologetic look– she only laughs.

���Well, Jesse, you’ll have to tell me all about it later. Here’s my card.”

Jesse watches, dumbfounded, as the woman walks away, her card gripped tightly in Jesse’s sweaty fingers. Her mom appears in a flash of worried ramblings, which she does her best to calm down and explain away their absence. Somehow, she manages.

And on the way home, she finally has a moment to look at the card Nadia had given her.

Web3’s generative AI platform on Google Cloud

What is Generative AI for Web3?

The public’s interest has been drawn to generative AI (gen AI). Large language models (LLMs) have appeared in the news seemingly every day this year. The excitement may be shifting from cryptocurrencies to next-generation artificial intelligence, but the academic community is closely examining the convergence of blockchain and AI, and the Web3 community hasn’t been afraid to explore. For instance:

The Machine Learning and Blockchain Research Summit was held at Coinbase.

In order to overcome adversarial issues, the decentralized AI platform SAKSHI contains a proofs layer.

FalconX made Satoshi available to help cryptocurrency traders.

Code Reader, a tool from Etherscan that teaches about smart contract code.

A plugin providing real-time data and actual transactions, like as token transfers, was released by Solana Labs.

In this blog post, Google want to talk about what the community is creating in order to move beyond experiments. They will go over some of the digital assets and Web3 use cases that they are assisting our customers with implementing in more detail.

Document search and synthesis use case

Searching for and synthesizing documents is the first use case. This use case focuses on explanations, summaries, and identification. It makes it possible for non-technical (i.e., commercial) users to learn from big document collections. For instance, gen AI can assist in summarizing a blockchain protocol’s whitepaper or assist in identifying flaws in a description of a smart contract. Numerous customers choose these applications as their initial use cases for assessing LLMs, allowing internal users access to both private and public data. This use case is facilitated by Vertex AI Search, which makes it simple to construct generative AI search engines quickly.

Customer service support and enhanced virtual assistants use case

The following use case involves improved virtual assistants and customer service support. This is a client-side application. Conversational AI is the next step in the development of virtual agents, helpers, and bots. They go one step further and enable more natural customer interaction with LLM-powered virtual agents, which includes giving the agent the ability to carry out transactions. You can create conversational AI with cutting-edge virtual agents using Vertex AI Conversation and DialogFlow CX.

Content discovery use case

Another crucial use case involves content discovery. The example for Web3 is what Google call research on cryptocurrency trading. Analysts might begin the day by reviewing the news stories that affected their portfolio of cryptocurrencies. They may hunker down and concentrate intensely on what counts. Consider how this Vertex AI Search demo might be used in cryptocurrency trading, for instance. That’s not all, though. Analysts can trade and create an algorithmic crypto trading strategy based on what they discover.

The developer efficiency use case

Google then enter the developer efficiency use case at this point. The most popular use case for Web3 is probably AI-assisted development in this context. For instance, AI-assisted development can aid programmers in navigating the challenges of writing smart contracts in Solidity. LLM orchestration and routing use case

The more sophisticated use case of LLM orchestration and routing is one that Google have seen their customers develop. The majority of businesses will utilize various LLMs for various use cases. Consider each of the use cases this article mentioned. They won’t all be implemented using the same huge language model. How can you choose the best model to activate based on a certain user inquiry (i.e., prompt)? To do this, we demonstrated using LangChain’s RouterChain and Google’s text-bison model.

The creative use cases

The creative use cases for Web3, notably generative AI for images and videos, are last but certainly not least. Google  now enter the world of NFTs. Google’s Imagen foundation model is made available through Vertex AI. For instance, let’s say you have an NFT and would like to produce fresh photos in its design or new images or films that feature your NFT as their subject. Digital watermarking and verification are now available in Imagen (experimental), enabling you to:

Create fresh images from a text prompt.

Image editing using a text prompt

Create a description for a picture

Adapt a model to a particular topic

That was a quick overview of some AI use cases for the Web 3. The use cases mentioned above can be built by Web3 and other developers using generative AI on Google Cloud.

To anyone who cares, I have a quick theory on Host.

They were the negative parts of deleted code, and their goal is thought by many to be murder. I believe otherwise.

I believe they are actually after not murder, but suffering. Their suffering is so great, due to (partially) being the trauma and memories of deleted ddlc files, they aim to spread it to others in a misguided attempt to alleviate their own (which never works).

One piece of evidence is that base64 they used to get Monika to noose herself. For one thing, why encode it so easily, base64 has hundreds of online converters, and is used often in the hidden files of ddlc, so most dedicated fans would know what to do, (game theory), and it foiled their plans when the fans figured it out, right? Wrong. If they were trying to kill Monika, why post it at all, why not leave a poem for Monika only she, and no-one else, would see. They wanted it to be seen by everyone, because they wants to make the dokis suffer for as long as possible, and a failed suicide attempt would help that goal immensely. Death would end the suffering and transfer it to other people, and they don't care about anyone but the dokis.. so they made an easy encryption we askers would know about and called us smart to flatter our egos and hide their real goal as a true mastermind would.

But that is just a theory, a Tumblr ask blog theory.

-DDLC Game- Host was originally the game ai that controls various aspects of the game such as story progression. It became unstable due to improper programming and contradictions within the code. The game programmers linked some of the code to both Monika and the playable MC in order to make the game secure and stable enough to be playable. This gave Monika the knowledge and self-awareness of her world, but not of her own purpose. While Monika modified the game, it became unsure if it was a dating sim or a horror game, and attempted to be both. It tried to keep to the pre-programmed story of the dating sim, but randomly include some horror elements from some leftovers from an unfinished horror game. The more Monika attempted to change the script and alter character files, the more unstable the game ai became, and the more unresponsive MC became. Monika's attempts to obtain complete control of the game eventually broke it and MC. Upon her deletion, everything was reset and restored to their original state, though the game ai was able to contain the characters' memories of the previous resets. Monika kept her memories due to the deletion separating her from the game ai, and Sayori kept her memories because she would have been next in line to obtain game control. The game ai also stored the multiple possible choices and outcomes that could/would/did happen.

-My modifications to the game- I had a guy (Sollux) do some programmy-codey stuff to separate all the dokis from the game's ai so they could be free of the forced scripts. Interestingly, this also gave the game's ai actual sentience. And due to the emotional and mental energy radiating off of me, they all grew indivirual souls of their own. Their souls are also influenced, and continue to be influenced by all you readers/viewers/askers.

-The side-effects to my modifications- The game ai, with newfound sentience and a soul, separated from any control or morals being connected to a character would have, attempted to continue its purpose. But it still contained the improper coding and contradictions that it was created with, as well as the corruptions from Monika's tampering. It no longer had the dating sim script, so it would instead implement its horror aspects. And since Monika isn't the villian/horror monster anymore, there needed to be a new one.

-The Separation- Eventually, the game ai (now called "Host") was broken by Monika into two parts. The remaining "Host," now stabilized and contains the normal data from DDLC, and "Malefactor," who is an amalgamation of all the corruption, horror, and negative mental/emotional energy that was separated. Host is the half that keeps things controlled and stable, and works to repair and restore the broken code so that the remaining ais/souls remaining within the game (the dokis parents, various npcs, etc) can eventually be released. Malefactor, being the corrupted horror half, seeks to give despair to the dokis, and give horror and mystery to the viewers, as well as just be an antagonistic monster.

-Dokistuck- During what I like to call "Dokistuck," Malefactor absorbed some kernelsprites, killed the denizens, absorbed the Kings' staffs and Queens' rings in order to gain their EXP, grist, and power. It later absorbed the dokis in their godtier forms to gain even more power. Luckily, they were saved before any lasting damage could be done. Soy Sauce witnessed her friends being taken and became enraged. And since he was an Heir of Rage, she was able to unlock his Heir of Rage powers to become… what I assume is the embodiment of the Rage aspect. I call it a "Rage Angel." In this "Rage Angel" form, Soy Sauce picked up MC's "Heartbreaker" weapon and shattered the incredibly powered up Malefactor, freeing their captive friends. Soy Sauce whacked the largest of the fragments into an open Void portal, with the intention of it forever hurdling through the void, never to be seen again…

-After Dokistuck- After the events of "Dokistuck," two of Malefactor's smaller fragments managed to latch onto a discarded Lil Cal (that creepy puppet) and Monika's Kernalsprite pendant thing, while the large fragment somehow managed leave the void and enter my world. The large fragment ended on "Despair Island" (a prison island meant to keep Junko Enoshima, her ai copy, and a few of her others isolated to prevent the tragedy from happening again). That fragment, still containing some SBURB power, merged with Junko's ai copy and give it semi-physical form. Both the new fusion and Junko were able to escape the island through a portal made with the pendant one of the small fragments was latched onto (the Lil Cal and pendant that had the two small fragments on somehow got into the Hope's Peak campus). Those items and fragments were put into a Monokuma unit separate from the original. This "Mal-kuma" is hiding somewhere in the school, along with Junko. Just… don't tell anyone… I don't want there to be a mass panic…

-Final Words- That's everything I can think of that's important regarding Host and Malefactor. So, your theory was pretty much mostly correct!

Thoughts on RNM 3x09

Ok y’all, here we go. Finally we are an official couple! Malex for the win!! (Other things happened, but ya know. Priorities.) I was very happy overall with the progress our boys have made. And as much as I’ve enjoyed this season, I’m glad we’ve had a bit of a time jump. Even if I think it’s only been a few days. I was pretty sure that Kyle and Max would already be up and about. It would have taken too much of an episode to deal with bringing Max out of the pod and Kyle waking up from his coma. Do I feel a little short changed? Yeah. But I get it. There’s only 13 episodes and there is a lot that we have to get to before the finale. So on that note, I’m gonna dive right in. Care to join me?

You go Nora with your badass self killing all those clones. (I mean harsh, but hopefully they were just vessels and had no consciousness to speak of.) And Jones being his crazy dictator self killing that scientist was super harsh. And can we for the love of God get Lucky away from him!?!?!?! He is the goodest boi! He deserves better.

Go on science Liz. I don’t understand half of what she said, but I believe it. And I love how badass she is when she sciences. And there we get our first glimpse of Malex goodness, “Me and Alex are working on the Lockhart machine.” Because of course they are. Because their brilliance only intensifies when they work together. Loved Isobel’s gross face when Liz talks about Noah’s spores. And here’s where we get the Heath story taking off. Max is not gonna like this one!

Ok, Deep Sky doctor lady. I really dig your hair, but do you know who you’re talking to here? Kyle is the premiere alien doctor on this planet. He probably knows more about weird biology than you’ll ever learn. Listen to my boy! And Kyle honey, you are completely justified in your righteous indignation. And you are correct in that no one is more qualified in top-secret ET shenanigans than you baby. (I really need to figure out how to use that line in real life. It’s like the best thing he’s ever said.) I still don’t know whether or not to trust Eduardo. I want to, but I’m still not sure what he’s all about.

I love how dedicated Isobel is. She’s downright obsessed and I love this side of her. And her cockblocking Delmanes was so funny all episode. I also really love that Greg is fully involved now. The Pod Squad needs all the allies they can get at this point.

That phone call almost made me cry. They look so incredibly happy to just be together. I knew as soon as Alex said he wouldn’t forget their date that it wouldn’t happen, but still. Just the fact that they are both ready for that step is amazing. They have both grown so much. I’m just so happy to see them so happy. It was truly amazing. And I agree with Michael. Alex needs to talk codey more often!

It was totally cute that Max had a get Liz playlist, but does he know what the song The Way is about? It’s not exactly romantic.

Heath, you’re in trouble now!

Delmanes are so cute! Isobel is so adorable when she is flustered by a pretty girl!. I will admit though, that I really wish Anatsa hadn’t slept with Max. I mean these guys tend to be a little too close sometimes. But, you know, that seems to be the way this show is going to roll. Blame it on Carina’s lingering messes from the last two seasons and move on.

Of course Alex would manifest Nora. Despite his growth, he still has a lot of guilt over her death and his father’s role in it. I love that Michael is his focus. Alex’s love for Michael will always be the guiding factor in everything he does. He wants more than anything to make sure that Michael has a good life. And I think he’s finally learned that his presence in Michael’s life is what makes it good. I love these two dumbos! (said lovingly) They make me so happy!!

Come on Max. Tell Liz how you not only kept her tapes, but you would listen to them in the desert while crying and missing her! These two are the real dumbos in this show. (said not so lovingly)

I love how powerful Isobel’s become. And that was way cool the way she pulled that pod out of the lake. I’ve really loved her journey this season. And Maria was right, that camp was really beautiful.

I just don’t know if we can trust Eduardo yet! He says all the right things, but he just seems too good to be true! I hope my misgivings are wrong. I really want Kyle and Alex both to have someone who will be a good father figure. They both deserve it.

You know what would have been an awesome twist? If Jesse had shown up when Alex saw the project shepherd tech in Nora’s machine.

I love how Michael just wants to take care of Alex. Lovingly breaking into his boyfriend’s house. What a romantic.

You know what Maria? Get it girl! I think Delmanes is both sexy and adorable. I am ok with them being together!

I love that Kyle is so determined to do the right thing. He has really grown to care about all the aliens. He just wants to do the right thing and I love him for it. He is proving every day that he is the best member of the Valenti family. I’m so proud of my baby boy!

And now we’re getting down to business with Echo. They both have made mistakes and they both have admitted as such, but it still surprises me that Liz cannot see why Max is so scared of his secrets getting out. (Am I really taking Max’s side in something? What is wrong with this picture?) Also, she is so determined to believe the best of Heath that she doesn’t want to see what’s glaringly obvious. I saw this coming like five episodes ago. Just saying.

If Vlamis doesn’t make that shirt part of his next merch drop, I will scream. I would wear the heck out of that shirt! And Eduardo’s face when Michael is standing in his office was the best! And bragging about how smart his boo is! Michael just adores his brilliant hacker boyfriend!

Admittedly, yoda Maria is getting a little old. But I am glad that Maria and Isobel are friends now. They really compliment each other so well. And I loved how Isobel took drinks out of Greg’s hand all ep.

My sweet Alex! I love him so much. Pushing himself so hard to try to help Michael. It’s all about Michael. His capacity to love is so huge. And then Michaell comes to the rescue. He’s always got him. That’s the kind of grand declaration that we need in our lives. The way that Alex grabbed onto Michael’s shirt was everything. They just bring so much joy to my soul.

Isobel and Anaste are cute, but my Kybel heart still beats strong. Also, I still think she’s an alien or something. I have decided to just not trust anyone new.

Michael listening to Alex, comforting him, and admitting he’s had the same fears was beautiful. I love how strong he is now. He’s really putting himself out there to be there for the people that matter the most. And that Sander’s story was so sweet. Of course that would be the perfect date for these two. And the fact that they worked together perfectly to take out the evil PS part and put the machine back together the way it was meant to be was such a great metaphor for their relationship. I can’t believe we are getting so much goodness right now. We are truly blessed.

Still making me take Max’s side Liz. You really are letting me down. Oh wait, helping Michael be less Michael. Yep, Max made me remember why I hate him. Never mind.

So Dallas is an alien. (At least somebody new is!) Not who I thought it would be though. And since we saw him in one of the s4 bts pics, then we know he’s probably sticking around. I am intrigued. And now we know what Heath’s been up to. I guess he’s supposed to be a not so bad guy since he’s trying to help his best friend. But you hurt my Kyle dude. There’s really no coming back from that.

I am still pleased with 99% of this season. We’re coming down to the wire now. I just hope for more and more goodness with every episode. Even if we have to have another episode without Alex, I am expecting there to be some mentions of him by Michael. This season has made me so so happy. I can’t believe we are living in a time when Malex is together and building a beautiful relationship that will stand the test of time. We are a blessed people. And I cannot wait for more! Dating was nothing River knew of it had never worked out for him over the years. But he understood why for a number of reasons. He acted till he was of an age that most people did date. Then he was just on his own and was going out to party and drank too much.
