Happy birthday! I just wanted to stand in solidarity with you wrt losing yourself to sickness. I came off of my SSRIs in January and have been in withdrawal ever since, so I can really relate to your dissociation/feeling like nothing is right/suffering due to not being able to live your life. Thank you for sharing how you feel bc it makes people like myself feel less alone in this. Awesome gay dogs btw

I'm really sorry to hear you've been struggling with SSRI withdrawal symptoms, that sounds awful. And for several months too? I've been on multiple antidepressants over the years but never SSRIs so I have no experience with those, but that seems like a torturously long time. I'm wishing you all the best, and I hope you'll start to feel better soon!

I love your art style so much! I was wondering if you ever draw fat butches or other fat masculine wlw? I love your thin butch/fat femme drawings and thought it would be awesome to see some fat butch/thin or fat femme couples too!

i do sometimes! i found this one pretty easily but there should be some others in my archive too i think. 

in general i’m just not super interested in drawing menswear (and similar) unless we’re talking about, like, doublets and jerkins or traditional indian fashion so i feel like even the characters i try to draw less femme still come out looking pretty femme because that’s just inherently who i am.

I absolutely love your seal girl - could you tell us more about her, please?

yes!! i don’t have a name for her yet but i can tell you that she works as a fishmonger, her family lives up in a northern climate, in iceland maybe, and they run a fish shop. but she doesn’t actually go out fishing, she works behind the counter serving the customers. she looks scary but she has a remarkably gentle voice. when i drew her i put a lot of moon phase imagery all over her because i was toying with the idea of her actually being a selkie and i still kind of like that idea haha so she’s not a traditional anthro character in an anthro world, she lives among humans and does have a human form (she probably looks exactly how you would expect her to look; big, broad, etc.)

and she has a girlfriend!! who is an orca and i did draw her but i don’t think i saved it ghkjd
