slovenian broadcaster rtvslo is purportedly trying to negotiate the removal of israel

1000 artists from host country sweden are preparing to send an open letter to the ebu to ban israel; the swedish left wing has also called for israel to be removed immediately

iceland is officially threatening to boycott eurovision pending the removal of israel

word on the street is that if iceland does compete, it will send palestinian artist bashar murad who is openly anti-israel and has collabed with previous icelandic reps hatari, aka the guys who did this back in 2019

while we're on the subject of collections, here's all of mine! featuring ponies, the last unicorn, pokemon, and etc

these are my G4s and G3 favorites, all this stuff is crammed onto my one desk so it's not the most ideal for now lol. There are many more brushables but they just don't fit

right above those is my etc tier, mostly dragons and a couple Scar related things, adventure time, and LPS (more pending once I can find the rest)

the top tier featuring all my godzillas minus the 3 foot long giant one! in front with the chicken feather is 2014 goji, in the back with pinkie pie is 2019. you can also see Deet from dark crystal: age of resistance (highly recommend, it's on netflix but only has one season since it got cancelled in true netflix fashion), as well as my buddies Amelia and Rom from bloodborne, and the pyramid is a beetle my grandfather encased in resin back in the 80s for unknown reasons. on the wall to the left is a newspaper clipping of an ad for godzilla vs mothra from the 50s!

more ponies incoming, these are all my G1s, my changeling collection (still growing, I want an entire swarm), my mostly finished customs, and my Tabitha St. Germain corner to the right with Minty and Ditzy! In the back is the D&D/mlp collab figures. The sign on the wall I found at a thrift store and it says "horses gather here" lol

my last unicorn collection! this is the collection I'm most proud of, the displayed one to the right is a first edition I snagged for $70. The only editions I have left to collect are the super expensive deluxe/limited version (which just got harder thanks to Suntup releasing three VERY expensive special editions this year), but some of you will remember I did get super lucky earlier this year and unknowingly got a limited print, signed edition of the lost version for $3! so altogether I think the collection is worth around $1300

my pin collection! <3 some are in a display box and some are on my go bag so this isn't everything. the keychains are from my personal shop, a couple con badges I got in a merch trade (which I'm always open for if anyone's interested! I trade merch or art).

last one for now, this is the first page of my card collection! I'm not gonna show images of them all but these are the cool guys, I got these guys in a full 1996(? whenever the first printing was) japanese display box back when I was 15 for about $25, so that was quite the massive steal. These are technically leftovers, I've got all 3 starter evos and mewtwo in acrylic cases to display, and these guys are all double sleeved haha. I've got a lot of MTG cards as well but they're all in deck being used (if anyone else is into magic the gathering, do talk with me about it, I freaking love magic hahaha)

ⅰ. 𝐂𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐚, starring reo mikage.

ⅱ. 𝐓𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐞𝐝, starring bachira meguru.

“I know not who you are, or how I came to find you, but may I just say … hi. How ya doin’? The name’s Meguru Bachira. How’s your day goin’, huh?”

Being an outlaw has its perks. Not that running away from guards and other crooks is anything fun, but the feeling of being free to go and do as he pleases it's too exciting. And lonely as well. Believe him, Bachira was all fine by himself, but the moment he ventured inside that tall tower and found you there — caught by you, to be more precise —, something changed inside him. He never had so much fun with someone as he has with you, the feisty, clueless, and dreamy girl who wanted to see the lanterns up close. The gold of your tiara doesn't fill his eyes with glint anymore; it is you, and only you who's now capable of doing it so easily.

"You're beautiful." He cannot help but profess, watching your features turning brighter with the lanterns around you. The most perfect sight in this whole world, he wanted to keep it engraved in his memory; keep you engraved in his heart as if this wasn't natural by now. Brushing a strand behind your ear, he stares at you in adoration, gently taking his time to trace every inch of your face. And in silence, you both enjoy the dream that came true.

ⅲ. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐝, starring hyoma chigiri.

"Where would we walk? Where would we run? If we could stay all day in the sun? Just you and me. And I could be, part of your world."

That's what he longed for. Ever since he was little, Chigiri yearns to know more of the surface. To feel the sand kissing his skin, to gaze at the blue day sky, to feel the warmth of the sun guiding his steps as he runs down the beach towards the unknown; to have legs. He just wanted to be part of this world, and maybe, just maybe, he could also stay by your side. The feeling of you fills his mind ever since he saved your life from that storm. And to know that you also wish for him, oh, how much he wants to just kiss his girl. And he's ready to do anything for that.

"Wait for me." He pleads lowly, watching as you wander around with your friends through the beach, unaware of the mermaid that admires you from afar, hidden in a heap of stones. His legs will soon be granted for him, as the sea witch promised in exchange for his voice. A careless decision, it might have been; but whatever happens, his dream will come true. He'll do whatever it takes for that. "I'm coming to you, my love."

ⅵ. 𝐌𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐧, starring itoshi rin.

"The flower that blooms in adversity is the most rare and beautiful of all. You don't meet a girl like that every dynasty."

Never, in his five years as a captain in the Chinese army, has Rin had to face such a bewildering challenge: having a girl among his men. WIP WHENEVER! (Wednesday?!)

Hi, today is a bit of a write off day because it's spooky season and NY weather is telling me it's mid-July somehow.

I did manage a little writing :> And I'll be happy to share about ~300 words from two WIPS! But first, tags!

1) Spooky Collab pending a title with @thequeenofthewinter and @thana-topsy! Uldwin is his OC, and this is the downfall timeline. (: Writing is mine.

The ramp that led up to the mushroom tower was itself rotting through, stringy, toxic orange webs of slime mold eating away at the fungus. Lydia balanced precariously on the wooden support beams, cursing the weight of the daedric armor Uldwin had gifted her. Its enchantment sang to her, too—a whisper of some Bosmeri prayer. Like his voice, scratchy from use of the Thu’um. She swallowed hard against another wave of grief. This, perhaps, had been the last of his efforts to spare her whatever fate he’d willingly walked into.

The door to the tower swung open of its own accord, iron hinges rusted and knob caked with mud and grime. Then… Whatever it was had become aware of her presence. This did not bode well at all. She stepped through into the darkness, unable even to cast Candlelight to guide her way forward.

Lydia’s senses were assaulted by the stench of death—mildew and rot, must, pine, the uncomfortable sweetness of fermentation—not at all unlike the smell of Nordic tombs, long undisturbed. She brushed cobwebs away as she crept through the shadows. Dawnbreaker glowed, though its light seemed stifled in this place. Dread settled over her shoulders like a mantle. One step after another. It was all she could do, despite the fear. Despite how very much she wanted to turn and run. She knew she couldn’t. Uldwin didn’t. And now it fell to her to end this nightmare…and to bring him home.As Lydia took another step, something crunched audibly under her boot. A bone. No. She held back a scream as something screeched above her, the noise traveling through her skull like a jolt of Shock magic.

2) Light the Way which is pre-World. Backstory for Neloth and Teldryn, the Nerevarine (: And how they both ended up in the Twin Lamps.

“If I have your attention,” Im-Kilaya said after a particularly grating and reptilian-sounding throat-clearing, “we’ll need you both to help an injured once-shackled individual. His name is Tul, a fellow Saxhleel. Our Eyes have noted his injuries are beyond the help of what potions we have available.” He paused and turned to Sero, handing him a letter. “This, and he will need to be defended until you reach Sterdecan.”

“Do you expect trouble?” Sero asked, scanning the letter. Neloth glanced over his shoulder. It was written in some kind of cipher—it had to have been. Otherwise, it was an egregious misuse of parchment, describing in detail a few fictitious landmarks of Azura’s Coast. He watched as Sero folded up the letter again and tucked it behind the dark chitin plate of his armor.

“Yes, unfortunately. The farmhouse is becoming more visible than we’d like. It’s why this falls to you, Nerevarine. Protect Tul. I don’t know what waits out there in the dark, but the news brings me great discomfort.”

“Orvas has wind of us, doesn’t he?” Teldryn said after a moment. 

Im-Kilaya said nothing, and opted instead to grimace, hands tucked once again into the sleeves of his robes. Teldryn nodded; whatever silent conversation had just occurred between them seemed satisfactory enough.

Neloth knew that name. Duke Vedam’s younger brother, and, at least at one point, the more powerful of the two. There had been rumors about nefarious dealings, and a more recent loss of his position within House Hlaalu. Something Fyr had rattled on about, as he was wont to do, but Neloth hadn’t bothered to listen. He cursed himself for his lack of foresight. Not that Neloth was afraid per se, but what should have been a fairly simple task now seemed infinitely more complex than what he’d at first believed.

OKAY SOME OF YOU SEEMED INTERESTED IN TEMPORAL KO SO!!! EHEHE this is a shared/collab AU with @here-to-cause-suffering, we both made the AU together and are working on it together, it's both of our AU and doesn't belong to one of us more than the other!!!

ANYWAY IN SHORT THE AU IS LIKE... you know the song Time Machine by Miracle Musical, yeah? Alex and I's interpretation of the song is that the time machine breaks down while being used, between time and space. And the person is stuck in the space between time and space for eternity. And I fixated on this song so hard I noclipped through multiple walls to make this AU with Alex /j

OKAY SO IN VERY SIMPLE EXPLAINATIONS... KO is in a time machine. Dendy made it— reasons why are still pending! But the whole thing is that, yk, the time machine breaks down between time and space, and KO freaks out and brute forces his way out of the time machine and into the space between space and time and he gets Fucked Up Badly. And they can time travel! :)

He doesn't have a specific look to him— he's merged, yeah— BUT he looks like he does in the reference of him most of the time, because he has some degree of control over how he looks/what he looks like. There isn't a "true look" or "true form" to them, though— they can be KO, TKO, PKO, MKO, he can be ANYTHING and EVERYTHING, something and nothing— every age and no age simultaneously (will talk abt this!) he just simply is. He is as he was, and he was as he is.

When traveling between space and time/when they're in between space and time, he's all over the place in very many senses of the word, because it doesn't rlly have control over/can't rlly consciously choose to look like how it wants. So! Fun!

Ehehee, they also don't have a specific age technically— he can appear as any age and be any age BUT BUT when talking about it casually he's 13-14 bc that's how old it was when this all happened + that's how old it is when just looking like how it defaults to, yk!

ALSO CANDY GORE. and rainbow vomit. ALSO ALSO its breath is almost constantly foggy... and its body is slowly slowly deteriorating and he's kinda slowly becoming something that CAN handle being between space and time.

Extra details... they're almost always in some form of pain 😭 Esp when their body decides to just glitch and turn into, idk, a chair or a loading symbol or its head becomes a PC blue screen... whatever you can even think of! It's all canon (within reason/this extends as far as we say it does /hj)

Also the half of his face with the hair covering his eye is his skull— and it's not visible underneath, y'know, his sweater n' stuff, but some of his ribs are exposed/visible too and a lot of his spine, as well! I have some silly concept whiteboard doodles to share sometime that I need to make good use of 😭 /hj

hey there girlies and gays and all who are in between! i will be posting the collab fic with @inoreuct later tonight ! since it's the longest fic in the entire challenge, i will be taking a break for christmas day (as i really should have done in the first place but zosan brainrot is strong)

as such, the three pending fics i still have will be posted instead at a later date! could still be before the year ends or early next year. who knows! but the challenge ends with the collab fic for now 💛💚 ino and i have lost sleep over our collab and it's our baby so we hope you love it as much as we do (despite what our dms crying and screaming and misspelling words conveys)
