still one of my favorite bits i ever got to commit was pretending not to know who jesus is when a street preacher was evangelizing to me. he was like "do you know who jesus is?" and i had so much time before my next bus and i wanted to know what would happen so i said no. and you know what. he had clearly never been told no to that question before because if i hadn't actually known who jesus was, his baffled and fumbling attempt sure wouldn't have told me. literally reversed the roles. now you get to stand here feeling very uncomfortable and wishing you could be somewhere else because guess what buddy, this is my bus stop, im early (and can catch like five other buses from this exact stop), and im now thoroughly invested in hearing about this mysterious jesus figure. you're locked in here with me. im eating the key as we speak. i will kill us both before i let you out of here.
very highly recommend this bit if you can pull it off and if you have time to kill

oooh. if folks are interested in Chinese dance from traditional to modern, you might be interested in 《舞千年》 Dancing Millennium, which is a 2021 Chinese variety show produced by bilibili + 河南卫视 Henan Satellite TV (YouTube link here, bilibili link here).
there's a flimsy gesture at an unifying plot (collecting twelve dances across Chinese history to be included in an imaginary macguffin), but the show is really about throwing budget at a selection of dances and operatic excerpts with enthusiastic cinematography. my personal favorites are 《越女凌风》 performed by 陈奕宁 Chen Yining of the 北京舞蹈学院 Beijing Dance Academy (sword! dancing! SWORD! DANCING!!) and 《盛世双姝》 performed by 华宵一 Hua Xiaoyi and 王家鑫 Wang Jiaxin (just... trust me on this one. it's less than three minutes long and utterly mesmerizing). there are also a selection of folk dances and excerpts from dance operas, and everyone is, naturally, ludicrously talented
I'll be honest, I skipped most of the plot and just watched a 纯享 playlist of the dances, but the dances themselves are really cool!

I seek knowledge, I must know, what show is your white whale?
Fame L.A. It ran for 22 episodes back in 1997/98, was never released for home viewing and now is practically lost media bar a few clips online. I have spent many an hour searching the depths of the internet for it, nada. There are traces of where it once was hosted, but all those links are now completely defunct.
My only hope now is that someone recorded it on vhs back when it was broadcast and will eventually rip it and put it in the VHS vault on the internet archive or something (or, I work out how to get a hold of stuff from the Broadcast Archive in the National Library of Sweden in Stockholm because they have the full run of it, but it's not publicly available, you have to have a research reason as to why you want to view it, and then you can only view it on their equipment in the library to boot!)

I’ve decided to halt my CC Sort and Deep Clean for a little bit to start another project that I hopefully won't quit halfway through
So, Introducing Lot 1 in the Saffron Bay Renovation Project...Holloway Legacy Park and Community Garden!
It’s just a Big Park, but I want it to change with the seasons like a festival lot. This is the summer theme: Summer Movie Nights! They show one free kid’s movie every Sunday and Wednesday at 5:30pm, and one family-friendly action movie every Friday and Saturday at 7:30pm. One free Cotton candy or small Popcorn with every ticket!

My creativity wants a maximalist house, but my brain and germaphobia wants everything elevated off the floor and walls, very little stuff, no trinkets that gather dust.
