I’m going in chronological order and am only up to Dec 2010, so I haven’t started on MLAnderson, Whispered Faith, and so on yet. I still need to see if Just Another Fool is on the Wayback Machine, and I need to track down the tweets and blog posts of The Big Ones.

My fave obscure entries are Dreams In Darkness and Beyond the Neon. I think my main bias to Neon is that the main character reminds me of one of my OCs terribly, and so I could watch him do anything ever. Idrk if it’s Good by normal definitions, I’m just like. Haha this is what Blorbo from My Brain would also do.

My least favorites are Seeking Truth, and I really hope compileTRUTH picks up soon, cuz I like the character Cairo but the formatting of the show is difficult for me to engage with.

You got any advice on where to start on slenderverse stuff? I tried to ask another friend and they just broke down completely when i asked

best place to start for me is definitely marble hornets. after that, watch everymanhybrid and tribetwelve* because they are the other two biggest sv series (t12 is optional, considering its creator has done awful things, and id comepletely understand if you didn’t want to watch it because of that)

after watching these three, definitely watch mlandersen0, darkharvest00, whisperedfaith, and stan frederick. these aren’t as big as the others but they’re still very popular within the slenderverse fandom.

after that — go n have fun! watch some smaller series :3

Doctor!! I’m so happy to have found you!! I’m a huge fan, of the modern strain. I’m not deeply into the Slenderverse as a whole as of yet, I’ve yet to finish Marble Hornets or EverymanHYBRID, but I am working on it. I am, however, deeply fond of the Blogverse and the series that spawned around 2009-2012, yours included.

I haven’t finished CompileTRUTH yet either, as I am making the unwise decision to go about this in chronological order, and the rabbit hole goes deep, but I would love to ask you some questions, and potentially invite you to a Blogverse server (where I also post fanart of the older series.) It’s alright if you’re not interested in the latter, I would be grateful and flattered to have any of your time.

Well hello! It's always nice to hear when people are doing a deep dove on the older Slenderverse. I might take you up on the discord offer in the future, but I've got a lot going on at the moment and haven't really kept up with stuff in the intervening years, outside Alex Hera's docuseries.

And the art looks great! Was always a fan of people blending the slenderverse with an animated esthetic. Definitely let me see the final version! 😁 I'm in touch with Zeke Strahm's writer still, so I'll make sure it makes its way to him!

I'm really not sure what you people want from me. Do you know how many hours I've put into my series?  How many days filming?  How many hours upon hours editing not only my videos, but videos promoting other series as well?  How about the hours spent on those music videos people loved?  Or on this fan-site to try and keep the mythos standing and growing into the future? So... let's talk about the week I've been having.

About a week ago, I posted "Numbers", a video I've had planned for about two months.  It's intent was not so much a reveal as a confirmation, since those following the story and giving it a little bit of thought already figured out that Cairo was a traitor from the last video in December and blog and twitter activity since then.  So the purpose was to confirm that fact, establish some aspects of Cairo's character that had been hidden up until now, and to introduce a major plot point for the remainder of compileTRUTH, the countdown. I was expecting to get some hate.  I knew a lot of it would be in-game character reactions (which I expected to include a death threat or two, but not as many as I got) and some would be OOG-people disapproving of the plot development.  And these would have been reasonable comments I could accept as constructive criticism.  That's OK. But you know what isn't OK? Telling me to kill myself Wishing Me to Die of Diabetes Calling me a faggot Dubbing over and re-uploading my videos for the sole purpose of mocking me The shear amount of hate spewed at me this week is astonishing.  I know it's the internet and that's just what people do, but after what I've seen over the past few years in following Slender Man series, I expect THIS COMMUNITY to behave better. If this continues, comments on compileTRUTH videos will end.  I'm not putting up with this shit. Compilations WERE going to be starting back up after this video, but after what's happened, I doubt it. I am going to finish my story, and there's not a damn thing any of you can do to stop me.  The question is, do you want to be able to participate or not?
