Something I think a lot of people who didn't watch the OFMD C2E2 panel with Con and Nathan really didn't get to experience was that Con would say the most devastating things about Izzy like that he wouldn't recognize what love felt like because he's not emotionally cognizant enough to or in himself, or that he wants to be better but doesn't know how, or that Izzy's song he'd attribute to him was who wants to live forever and then in the very next breath growl Daddy into the mic and try joke to take his shirt off and talk about how good of a lay Izzy is. Okay so I know we’re all freaking out about Ed and Stede, but I want to talk about Izzy and Stede

Look at this right here

This is Izzy in the beginning of the trailer and likely in the beginning of the show. He’s got on the same kind of war paint that Ed is making everyone wear and, as usual, he doesn’t look happy.

Now look at these ones that are shown later on

These are when he’s with Stede the makeup is off and neither of them really look like they’re about to fight, so here’s what I’m thinkin

For whatever insane reason, I think Izzy decided to leave Ed and side with Stede. I don’t know where they are or what they might be talking about, but why else would Stede and Izzy look so calm and comfortable with each other?

I think it’s because both of them are realizing that Ed is not in a good place and they need to team up to try and help him
