After the closure of Fredbear's Family Diner the animatronics were likely no longer being used as part of the main band, just as walk around characters, so it'd make the most sense if the springlock suits had the endoskeleton removed. To. Yknow. Prevent horrifying and unnecessary injury

[leaked storyboard spoilers from last year]
bro i havent seen any leaks other than the ghostf*ckers millie and the sinsmas octavia tantrum one. iirc nothing has been leaked for blitzfizz although fizz and robo fizz are both confirmed to return for season three. we know alex brightman recording at least twice for season 3 (one of them being a session with james iglehart so we’re prob getting more fizzarozzie) and the only audio released was in his solo session using his fizz voice to loud yell “fuck.”
honestly based on the way brandon and viv talk it sounds like the remainder of fizz’s story (at least in helluva) is going to be him and ozzie facing the aftermath of mammon (but it’s unclear what that entails), and something involving the robo fizzes that may or may not be tied into that (evil robo fizzes fnaf style? or some clone wars individuality arc?). there hasnt been anything said on how/if blitz fits into this, but my guess is he’d be less directly interacting with fizz and more watching him (the problem that comes with blitz being the stephen universe protag who needs to be the main in every episode even if he dors nothing for its plot)
this sounds bleak but considering how brandon said blitz is done reconciling with fizz and they’re amicably parting ways while still supporting each other, i honestly dont think there’s much left for blitzfizz. other than those eps where fizz is a guest star i think the remainder of helluva will be the Stolas Show with fizz being segregated to the Fozzie show.
Are you sure Octavias sing isn’t mastermind? That’s make more sense. And anon it’s hardly a tantrum but a mental breakdown….
That is all really sad and tragic news. I’ll never recover. Lol. Honestly…ships aside, I haven’t seen anything that’s making me want to keep watching. IMP aren’t a thing anymore. My favourite characters get hurt (Via, Blitz, Millie) over and over for angst bait, there’s zero over arching plot left. Any development is just angst and very bad depictions of mental health. Or some amatonormative nonsense…IMP has abandoned their premise for good. Honestly? If something isn’t changing soon.
Shows dead.
Is that what Brandon said? Because that doesn’t seem to be the case with all the plot setup in Oops. Who separated them, was Fizz setup to be with Mammon and even Ozzie? Does fizz have parents? They haven’t unpacked really…anything? And fizz doesn’t forgive him, yet, he just said he’ll tolerate him. Blitz played an important part to the continuity of the episode but he wasn’t allowed to do anything but parrot Asmodeus, and I feel like Oz was just kindve shoved in at the end as a romantic saviour.
Viv threw away such a great character, with so much in depth story, who could have connections and dynamics with pretty much all the main cast…just for stolas to cry some more. And we all know he’ll get what he wants. At the cost of the premise, and a good story.
I don’t know how blitz and fizz could possibly be finished. It seems cruel to pull him away from Fizz and force him with stolas instead because of someone else’s machinations. Idk where Barbie is. I’m almost more interested in Barb talking to Fizz than I am Blitz. I also have no idea what’s left for the stolas show, his contributions are mute, and his dynamics with the characters are mute.
Fizz just angrily screams a curse word. ok.
What do we think the robot fizz is about?
Also anon I disagree really hard, about the Steven thing. With Steven, he hogged screen time away from stories about Pearl garnet, amethyst etc, and they are also main character. Sad as it feels to admit, and all of his potential to the themes of helluva boss. Fizz isn’t a main character, without Blitz or at least one of the main characters there, Fizz has absolutely nothing to do with the main story. At all. His ship even less so.
Idgaf about fizzozzie (in canon) anymore either they’re just… so emptily written. The only interesting thing left is a breakup. Not a wedding. It feels like Fizz ditched imps to upgrade himself to royals and hellborn and now he’s a “royal imp” implicitly treated as superior to other imps, because of talent. They don’t have enough going on for a separate show, Fizz is fine where he is. When he’s away from Asmodeus he shines as a character. With him…he’s just empty.
I cant keep lying to myself. Within this overarching story—They bore me, they add nothing to it, unless the worst thing possible is true and they’re just stolitz fuel…which makes no sense…the two relationships have zero in opposite nor the same.
I think that’s why people preferred Oops to Mammons special…the latter is filler and nothing more. The protagonist wasn’t in it enough, and in Oops they introduced a brand new and interesting relationship, and potential to start a love triangle plot, hell even a love square or polyamory, but….it just doesn’t. They stick to the status quo. Very disappointing.
Lastly no offence but I hope the speculations don’t turn out to be true….I hate them ^^;

So, now and then, I hear people mention how the audio tape played by Henry in Pizzeria Sim can be linked to the year of when the game takes place, since it is called HRY223. Consider how Henry mentions the Devil and Hell in his speech on that tape, though. 22:3 is a passage from the Bible's Revelation that states God will enter a city, therefore removing anything accursed. To me, HRY223 seems like it could be a reference to this passage, since Henry is trying to destroy the possessed animatronics, which can be seen as accursed due to killing people.
What are your thoughts on this?
Could be both. Though you are mixing up Henry's final speech in the main ending with the HRY223 one, where those terms aren't brought up at all, so that decreases the likelihood it's referring to the scripture. I feel like Scott put the 223 there to indicate something more personally.
I will say the 223 as 2023 would moreso be when the tape was recorded, which I think was around the time of FNAF 3, so FFPS might be a bit later.

The Restaurant in FNaF 4 is Freddy's
Tumblr media
Despite everything, I believe that the restaurant in FNaF 4 is not Fredbear's Family Diner, but is Freddy Fazbear's Pizza.
Let's begin with the first obvious question: why?!
Tumblr media
This image helpfully demonstrates the similarities between not only Happiest Day and FNaF 4, but also Follow Me.
We have a screen with a show stage. To the right, a screen with two tables. To the right of that, a screen with a door to the right, and another door forward leading us to the safe room, where we'll find William Afton and Spring Bonnie.
That's very specific and I find it hard to believe to be a coincidence. The FNaF 1 restaurant and the FNaF 4 restaurant are at the very least the same building.
Yes, there are differences, but those differences don't contradict the similarities, and they're a lot more forgivable if you consider that the FNaF 4 restaurant was trying to parallel both Happiest Day and Follow Me and arguably even Stage 01, and it couldn't look exactly like all three at once because each of those had differences, too.
The most compelling difference, I'd say, is the fact that the door to the very right is a bathroom in Follow Me, but is an exit in FNaF 4. However, the FNaF 1 building has no exit in FNaF 1 or 3, so if Scott were to depict someone entering this building, which I do believe he's done in FNaF 4, then he'd have to invent an exit.
Tumblr media
The Breaker Room map also appears to contradict this, showing the restaurant next to the FNaF 4 house as only a rectangle, no bigger than the elevator Eggs Benedict rides down on... yeah, the scale's pretty messed up here.
My personal interpretation of the Breaker Room map is that it's very incompletely and very imprecisely reminding us of FNaF 4, but even if you take it hyper-literally, there's a good case that the gray parts of the map haven't been updated since 1983, since there's still a dot in the Bite Victim's bedroom on the left. This would be before any major changes to the building. Alternatively, it's only showing a part of the restaurant, not the full scope of it, just like with the houses.
The second obvious question remains: where's Freddy? If this is Freddy Fazbear's, then where's Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy? The restaurant is absolutely covered floor to ceiling in Fredbear's image.
And yes. It is.
Remember to smile, you are the face of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza.
That quote is at the end of every single tape in FNaF 3, and it is specifically directed at employees dressing up as Fredbear and Spring Bonnie. At the time that the FNaF 3 tapes were recorded, Fredbear and Spring Bonnie were the face of Freddy's.
It's right there in the TV show: Fredbear & Friends. Fredbear is the frontlining character at this point in Fazbear history.
Because although we never see Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy animatronics in this restaurant in FNaF 4, we do see the characters show up in the masks and the plushies that can presumably be purchased at the restaurant right next to the house of the kids that own them, as opposed to them being from some other restaurant further away and not seen in that game.
Next, what about the Fredbear's hat teaser?
Tumblr media
Actually trying to make the letters fit just ends up messy. The "ER" being two of the last letters in "pizzERia" is a stretch, but the text needs to be stretched in order for anything to fit.
It's a super weird teaser image, because the immediate obvious answer upon first looking at it is "Oh, it says Fredbear's Family Diner," because that ends in ER, so then if the intention is that you line the letters up, and you confirm that it is, in fact, FFD, then what's the puzzle, even? Just an extra step of work? Why would Scott put that black shadow over a part of the word if it doesn't obscure the obvious and correct answer?
Even if I believed that the FNaF 4 restaurant was Fredbear's, I'd still be perplexed by this teaser image for a number of reasons, so it's not a very convincing argument.
Plus, the hat being property of Fredbear's Family Diner doesn't necessarily mean that the FNaF 4 restaurant is Fredbear's. There's a number of theories wherein Fredbear is moved from restaurant to restaurant and this could be referencing that.
One might bring up the possibility that the building is the same in FNaF 1 and FNaF 4, but that it was Fredbear's during FNaF 4, and later changed to Freddy's before closing down.
Which brings me to my next point: the MCI.
Tumblr media
As I established in my last post about when the MCI happened, I firmly believe that the Bite Victim witnessed the MCI.
And if he did, he witnessed it at the restaurant he frequently visits, based on the line "Don't you remember what you saw?" being uttered when the Bite Victim fails to leave that specific restaurant. What he saw was not at another location.
We already know from FNaF 1's newspapers -- the Rosetta Stone of the FNaF lore -- that the MCI happened at Freddy's, so if the Bite Victim saw it at the FNaF 4 restaurant, said restaurant is Freddy's.
But it goes deeper.
It's been well-established that the murders happened in the safe room, as FNaF 3 introduced those rooms to be the perfect place that Afton could murder kids and not be caught by surveillance footage, and that's where the kids get their revenge, yadda yadda yadda.
So if the bodies were never found because the kids were in the safe room, and they only exited the safe room once they were inside the animatronics, then the Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy animatronics all had to be inside the safe room. Unless William dragged them there himself, why would those animatronics have been in the safe room, unless the MCI happened at a Freddy's where the Fredbear animatronics were currently taking over?
That's FNaF 3's reason for establishing that Fredbear is the face of the company during the tapes.
I'll leave you with one final thought:
Perhaps one of the key differences with Fredbear and the rest of the MCI animatronics is that the others were in the safe room, but Fredbear was in Parts & Service, when a child was stuffed into it.

FILM REVIEW: Five Nights at Freddy's (2023)
As a FNAF fan, this film finally getting released made my year. A comfy night me and my little brother spent using the movie tickets I won at a coffee cart raffle, eating candy and popcorn and then having Thai takeout to wrap the night up. A nostalgia trip for both of us.
WARNINGS FOR: heavy plot spoilers for the film and original games, mentions and descriptions of gore, child death, child abuse (physical) and blood
POSITIVES
And that's really what this movie is, a nostalgia trip. Because I want to make one thing clear. If you haven't seen anything about FNAF, especially the silver eyes trilogy of novels, you probably aren't going to enjoy the film. If you only know fanon information and nothing about the canonical lore you probably aren't going to enjoy this film either... that's two things (/ref).
The final 'twist' isn't well set up because that's not what they were trying to do. From the very start a FNAF fan knows that 'Steve Raglan' (played by THE Matthew Lillard! One of two original Ghostface killers!) is absolutely William Afton. The final fight is just fan service for us fans and not a well plotted, set up reveal. What's the point of it? Acting as if we don't already know?
The choice to make the characters like Mike, Abby, Garrett, the missing children, Vanessa, etc parallels of existing characters in the FNAF universe instead of new people or exact adaptations is something I actually liked as well. I've heard some people are confused about it or just don't like it but a lot of that comes from expectations before the film released.
A LOT of people had it in their heads that the movie was going to be some hardcore jumpscare and gore-fest because "FNAF is so dark!" when... let's be real here. The darkness of FNAF has always come from lore behind the games and not visual representations of it. The closest we've ever really gotten to gore is some red pixels during one of the FNAF 3 minigames depicting William Afton's death in the springlock suit.
It's 2023 we can like kids horror either out of nostalgia or genuinely thinking it's good. Plenty of adults like Goosebumps and whatever. This movie was never going to be an R16-R18 horror. Imagine cutting off a good 3 years of your fanbase for 'accuracy' that isn't even accurate! Knowing how trapped and lost the missing children are after having their lives cut so short by such a selfish monster is already dark and way more accurate to how the games handled the lore.
It probably doesn't help that Scott helped work on the film and considering he's a devout anti-abortion, donating to homophobic politicians in secret Christian I doubt he would've been okay pushing the gore too far.
If anything, the lighthearted tone touching on the missing children still being actual children and not just murder machines makes the few gore and blood scenes even more shocking. The aunt's team of vandals getting attacked, the babysitter getting CUT IN HALF and the springlock scene at the end of the film are all good at raising the tension in such a colourful environment focusing on a family focused story.
CRITICISMS
The only two things I could criticize are:
1) Elizabeth Lail's acting. As Vanessa, she's noticeably more... exaggerated than her other cast members who all try to come off as realistic as they can for their characters. And not in a Renfield or Jack Griffin type of way where they're just purposefully odd or straight up nuts compared to everyone else. Just some of her line deliveries are a bit 'off' or even a little cringy? It's not that big of an issue and you don't notice it most of the time but I thought I'd mention it.
2) The lack of context for Vanessa and William's father-daughter relationship. It's heavily implied that William abused Vanessa as a child. Seeing how he behaves around her even as an adult, treating her less like a person and more of a tool or a verbal punching bag and with his track record with his kids in other universes (slapping daughters and gassing sons with hallucinogenic gas really doesn't get you father of the year) and the fact he gave a dead kids toy to his own kid as some fucked up 'trophy', it's pretty obvious.
But we really don't get any deeper context for her behaviour during the film specifically. Vanessa constantly lies and hides information in the film and it comes off as very, very annoying for a while. We can see by the end that William put that behaviour in her as a child so he wouldn't be caught murdering kids because his daughter told people what he was doing. But we never get to see much of this other than the brief confrontation at the final fight so it's harder to sympathize with her almost getting Abby killed. The movie's pacing is good so I think they could've pushed a few extra scenes in with her and William without slowing anything down. We all knew who he was anyway and they didn't have to reveal she was his daughter before the end because in the games she's already a brainwashed follower of his ideals.
WOULD I RECOMMEND THIS MOVIE?
Yes! It's fun, colourful and good for people who don't like non-stop nasties for a movie night but are still interested in something tense. Just don't expect to love it nearly as much if you know nothing about FNAF or the canon lore ("why is Cassidy not a girl?" "why is Cassidy blonde?" tiktok comments are starting to get to me)
A fun watch for fans and light horror fans :)

Shout out to the ocs that are a vital part of my life but ive never drawn b4:
The Monster queen: she is the mum of all things considered monster. She comands them... She's real scary too.
Dusty: essentially a parallel universe springtrap, he ate someone once due to unknown reasons but i think he had an episode of some sort. He's a musician! He's one man band is called Kill Star and he's mainly known as doing rap as well as rock. He's a loud mouth grumpy and kinda a bully but irl, he's a sweet bottom who loves his friend BB and has a HUGE crush on a girl. He sends her love letters lmao.
Shank & Rubin 2 girls fighting monsters
Hank & Rubin 2 guys fighting monsters
The backroom girls : a big white butch russian lady, a small skinny albino shunshine/ energetic girl, a wise silent and cool leader with flowing black hair who has no idea where she comes from, and 3 other ladies that I've never visualized b4 except for the fact that one of them has a olive green color palette.
The night guard palls, a group of night guard ladies from different fnaf alternate universes
Anny character from my made up planet Sita wich is kinda a fantasy world with it's own history and "religion" and this one really important legend.
Satelite girl: a girl living in a space ship making robots and small gadgets who left earth as a small kid after it turned into a desert wasteland after killer robots took over the world and then a crazy nuclear zombie apocalypse killed everyone and everything and is on her way to Sita. She's obsessed with just creating living beings and alchemy, she also made Dusty in this time line who can be explained as a alternate version of springtrap i guess. She also records videos talking about veriest things kind of like a vlog and sends them off into space, hoping it would reach her father.
The desert dweller: the last remaining human on eath, she lives in a single skyscraper in the middle of the desert with nothing else around, all the other units in the building are empty they don't even have furniture in them let alone trash. Nothing. She just has her unite and a little set up on the roof of the building wich she uses to watch the desert by night and the stars, other than that she has a tablet but she mainly uses it to check for anything new that might be posted on the internet.
Life and death: before there was anything and nothing there was desert, no planets no suns everything was just a desert, and there were 2 wounderers a tall rabbit man and a huntress. The rabbit had a loud personality and liked to drink and sit around the fire when it got dark, the huntress was emotionally distant and introverted, she loomed in the dark and liked to over see everything. One day they came across each other and just decided to travel together, they didn't know where they were going or what they were searching for but slowly they became friends. Until one day they came across a building, it looked like a smaller version of the taj mahal. There were ivies decorating the walls and in 2 corners there were 2 big pink buds. They went closer to inspect the flowers but got trapped in them instead. Death was the first to wake up, now a large, tall guy with black hair in bears skin. He waited years for the huntress and eventually she woke up as well. She had long pink hair and antlers decorated in gold jewelry and was dressed in a simple white robe. It's said that as soon as she stepped foot outside the building and on land the sky exploded and became full of lights and color but when death stepped foot on the land the stars started falling. They live in a castle, life's pink with flowers growing on the ceiling and deaths black. Life is lively and child like but she can be very hateful, death is in love with life, he's sweet and responsible but he can be very jealous.
The primordial goddess : she's a sleeping goddesses wich can be seen from sita like how the milky-way can be seen from earth. She has wild long brown hair with flowers growing in them and she wears a brown dress.
The lovers of Cicil: there was a race war going on in Sita hundreds of years ago between the fantasy creatures (dragons, nagas, fairies etc.) and the " humans" but there were also conflicts within the groups. Evelyn a teen with some special powers is working for one of the troupes, as a "test dummy". One day she was seen by a wealthy changeling called Duke and he fell head over heals for her so he took her in but she fell in love with his lackie/slave/prisoner Alias. He bought Alias off the black market when he was a child and made him do his dirty work. Eventually Duke had to leave for work over seas and since Evelyn did want to be pampered by the servants she decided to work in the castle instead, during that time she bonded with the staff as well as with Alias. After 2 months Duke came back with his older cousin and he quickly noticed what was going on between Alias and Evelyn and he told Duke that her feelings towards him aren't mutual and that he should let her be since "she's just a child", Duke, not believing him decided to throw the first lavish party in decades so he can make a move on Evelyn. It's hinted that before that he sent Alias away because he didn't care foe Evelyn's feelings and wanted her all to himself and then made a move on her but it was very unwanted on Evelyn's side. After that he still had the party where he crowned himself the king of fairy foke and made a move on Evelyn wich went horribly wrong with her slapping him and running after Alias and into the woods. With them finally being united and Duke heart broken they were mistaken for a deer by a huntress and shot ro death by 1 arrow, wich became infamous as "the arrow that never misses". Duke, now all alone and heart broken just decided that life was worth nothing anymore and with that he sat on his throne and died. The huntress, in remorse, swore to spread their tale of the 2 enemies to lovers forever and thus ended the race war. Their bodies are under a case of glass to this day, still as fresh as the day they died.
The voluntary fire fighters: made of Dusty, a girl who sounds like hatsune miku, a camera headed guy in a suit, a ghost kid and a fierce girl in a green shirt. They were a group who was burning zombies after the robot takeover. They lived long and died heroes.
The warrior: a girl in black and red who fights day to day obstacles that manifeat as monsters.
The devourer: a woman who can destroy entire universes by doing 2 hand gestures. She works and lives at one of the scp sites and agreed to interview some entities in exchange for somethings. She is kidnapped by a alternate version of springtrap and they're now trying to defeat a world ending monster.
Goddess of creation: a girl who rescued a shooting star and got a wish granted. She's possibly satellite girl.
Diana: the huntress from the lovers of Cicil legend. She became the wife of a wealthy naga but he already had 39 wifes and so she poisoned them leaving the naga all alone. It's debated why she did this, maby it was jealousy maby it was because the naga was just collecting women for his pleasure, nobody knows. She has really pretty long black hair :)

Chapter 4: Lunch With the Boss [AO3]
Summary: The semester is almost over and the summer is coming quickly. Jennifer Acker needed to figure out what she was going to do for a job. Thankfully, her cousin calls and offers her one. Not as fortunate, she'd be helping design the props and rooms for his upcoming horror house based on all the myths and legends surrounding a particularly notorious failed restaurant chain. Despite her easily frightened nature, she accepts and is brought into a whirlwind of mystery surrounding the bloody past of Fazbear Entertainment.
Welcome to Fazbear’s Frights, where the scares are fresh and the rabbit is out to get you.

The next morning came and went like a breeze. Harrison had been surprisingly very happy to go meet the Emilys and had even demanded the front passenger seat when Quinton had driven over to pick them up.
The boy in question was cackling to himself as he struggled to click in the seatbelt, much to the amusement of the other two. The laughter had dwindled down to irritated grunts as the buckle refused to click in place.
Jennifer enjoyed her poor younger brother's struggles as she calmly slid into a backseat and easily snapped in her own belt. She gave him a look of sibling superiority when he glanced back to glare at her. He went right back at it with more frenzy, to which Quinton gracefully intervened and helped him click it in.
Harrison huffed and crossed his arms in response, a grudging "thanks…" muttered from his lips. His cousin chuckled and patted his head.
"Sorry, kiddo. This old girl has some issues regarding the front seat belt locks. Nothing on you, I'm sure you don't have nearly as much trouble in your mom's car."
"I don't." Harrison sniffed, nose upturned. Though his embarrassment was still running hot as an iron, burning into his cheeks. This time Jennifer gave out a little laugh and his cheeks turned brighter.
In an effort to save Harrison from any further humiliation, Quinton turned on the radio and found a station playing some fun oldies from the 70s. Fitting, considering who they were going to see.
Shifting into the correct gear, they were off. The sun was shining and blue skies as far as the eye could see. It wasn't too hot outside either. A perfect day to go to lunch out in the countryside. It didn't stop Jennifer from messing with the hem of her shirt as her mind filled possible terrible scenarios. Some things stemming from bad experiences in the past but mostly just what her imagination could bring up.
"I can't wait for you guys to get there and meet Henry and Charlie." Quinton suddenly said and knocked his cousin from her thoughts. She wondered if he had noticed. Although one glance at him showed her that he had his eyes squarely on the road ahead. "They're just the neatest people. Oh! And not to forget, there's also Marionette that you get to meet."
"What?" Harry blinked and then narrowed his eyes at his cousin. "You're not going to make us watch a stupid puppet show right? Cause that stuff's for little kids and babies."
"Ha, no. I mean the animatronic that Henry built to keep his property safe. Her name is Marionette and you'll see why once you get there." Quinton gave the younger boy a sly glance. "And for the record, she actually looks pretty creepy. You'll be impressed, I'm sure."
Jennifer could feel her heart rate sky rocket and she clenched her shirt's material at her chest, right over her heart. She knew this was a bad idea. There was a walking, scary-looking robot on their property? Sign her off. Shred the paper and incinerate it, cause she was going to spontaneously combust.
"W-why didn't you mention this before?" She choked out with a shaky breath. Quinton had enough sense to look guilty.
"Because I knew that if I had told you, it'd be like dragging a cat into the bath to get you out here."
She couldn't deny that that was a good representation. She eyed the door and out of the window, at the trees to gauge just how fast they were going. She could possibly make it if she jumped out, right? Then she could just walk home… provided she didn't break every bone in her body.
"C'mon, squirt. Where's your sense of adventure?" Her cousin goaded, in the hopes of sparking some courage. "It's just one little robot. And eventually you're going to have to deal with some, if I ever succeed in convincing Henry to make a bot or two for Fazbear's Frights."
Her head snapped back to her cousin, eyes wide and wild.
"What do you mean by that? You— you want some of those things roaming around the halls of the attraction?"
"Yes. What, did you think that people would be startled by the props alone?" He raised an eyebrow.
Both of them ignored Harry's mutter of "that's so cool!"
"I don't know. I just figured that you'd have people in costume. There's people out there that can make some pretty neat robot costumes." Jennifer threw her hands up. "I just figured this would be like a normal horror house."
"Since when have I ever done anything "normal"?" Quinton snorted and gave her a look through the rearview. She blew out some air.
"Never. Couldn't even get ready for the day normally."
 "Hey now! That's hurtful."
"I remember that you used to be convinced that brushing your hair while swinging upside down would give you the coolest hairstyle, or whatever."
That caused Harry to laugh and their older cousin to groan.
"Look I was young and stupid—"
"And now you're old and stupid."
This time he glared back at her. Jennifer only raised an unamused eyebrow. His look turned contemplated and it slowly dawned on him to her actual worries.
"You don't think that the myths are true, right? Those robots weren't on a murdering spree. Or if they did hurt someone, it wasn't for revenge or whatever."
"No, of course not." She answered back, perhaps a little too quickly. With a sigh, she rubbed the bridge of her nose. "Purposeful or not, there is still some level of danger. There were some injuries that did take place and one confirmed death that we know of. Maybe due to some error or bug in their programming but it still happened. Still a possibility. You can't ignore that."
"And I'm not!" He blurted out, shoulders raised. The look of startled surprise on Harry's face shook him out of his frustration. He took a deep breath. "Just... trust me, Jenni. Please. Give this a chance."
His words caused her own anger to melt and she slumped down into her seat. Honestly, she should have known he'd push for something like this. Should have been obvious. He was always the one unafraid of anything. Always ready and willing to face the next challenge head on.
Using animatronics designed to run around their horror house to scare the ever living daylights out of people? That was exactly the type of blood pumping, nerves rattling thing that he'd be into.
The car stayed quiet for the rest of the trip. Jennifer deep within her thoughts. Thinking over the pros and cons of having actual animatronics for the attraction. There weren't very many pros she could think of.
She'd only ever heard of terrible tales about having these things around. All the accidents and injuries and stories…
And Quinton wanted to bring one within arms reach. What a magnificent idea.
"We're here." Her cousin announced as they turned off the main road and onto a well-worn dirt road. The siblings looked around in awe at the beautiful and big property.
It was a brilliantly green clearing of wild-growing grass surrounded by beautiful trees. There was a main dirt road that led to the garage and house. A small fork just before the house had a smaller, less trodden road leading off to a worn down barn in the distance. The smaller road was made up of two trails with tufts of grass in between leading to the barn, which suggested it was worn down by car tires.
The barn itself wasn't painted in the typical red but was a dark brown accented with a lighter brown. There was a sign lifted up on the side that faced towards them which proclaimed Fredbear's Family Diner. The sign was in clear disrepair. In fact, the entirety of the building was in forgotten shambles. Green vines were overtaking one side of it and growing slowly to the other. There was something both foreboding yet special about it. Despite it's dark history, life was still yearning to reclaim it.
Jennifer bit her lip and brought her attention to the house that was steadily coming closer as Quinton drove on. Her eyes roamed around it in search of the dreaded robot that she'd just learned patrolled the property. It wasn't in sight. She wasn't sure if she was relieved or concerned.
The car came to a stop right in front of the white-painted garage doors and Quinton turned his head to smile at the others.
"Alright! It's time to meet the Emily's. You're gonna love them." He smiled and got out. Jennifer's adrenaline spiked as she realized she'd have to get out in the open. In its domain.
She gaped and reached out when Harry just as happily slid out of his own seat and closed his door with a slam. She watched as he walked over to their cousin and simply stood next to him, giving her a raised eyebrow as they waited.
It took a couple of halting tries but she opened her door and stiffly got out. Eyes not once leaving their surroundings. There wasn't going to be any surprise attacks on her or her family, no sir.
Quinton locked the car with a loud honk which made her jump and yelp. He patted her shoulder in both concern and amusement.
"Hey, it's going to be okay, squirt. I won't allow anyone or anything to get you, alright? You and Harry are both perfectly safe here." His words didn't seem to do much in soothing her. He sighed, taking a hold of her hand with one of his own and using his other to tilt her head up so their eyes met. "Hey, do you trust me?"
She searched his eyes, brows furrowed. She nodded firmly, having perhaps found what she needed. He let go and gave her nose a pinch.
"Good. Because I'll be the first to bat off whatever comes our way, okay? We're a team. Family. Ohana."
That last word caused Jennifer to slip out a tiny smile. Lilo & Stitch had always been her favorite movie. Her go to, when she needed to relax away from some of life's struggles.
"Okay…" She sucked in a deep breath. "Let's get in there and get this over with."
"Hey, maybe by the end of this you'll have a robo-bestie? Y'never know." He sneered when he heard her scoff. With a shove to her shoulder, he booked it for the front door. This caused Harry to laugh and follow, as Jennifer gave chase.
All three were laughing and being overall menaces to each other once they reached the door. Though Jennifer had sobered up once her cousin had rung the door bell. Her hands clasped tightly together as they waited for a response.
The door opened with a creak, slowly revealing an older man. His hair was red with white intertwining at his temples and speckling his facial hair. He had round, old fashioned glasses and plenty of laugh lines. He looked exactly like how Jennifer would expect a warm, loving grandpa to look.
She didn't know whether to feel relieved or suspicious. So, she simply settled for following Quinton's lead. For now.
"Hello again, Mr. Bixby!" The older man gave a big smile and clasped one of Quinton's hands between his own. He gave it two shakes before releasing it.
"Hello yourself, Mr. Emily." He gave his own brilliant smile. "It's good to see you again, sir."
"Come now, if I remember I told you to call me, Henry. None of that formality."
 "Then please call me, Quinn."
"Well, all right. If you insist, my boy." The older man chuckled. His gaze went beyond Quinton and he took a good look at his other two guests. His smile never faltered. "Ah, you two must be Harrison and Jennifer Acker. It is wonderful to finally meet your acquaintance."
He went ahead to shake their hands as well before inviting them inside.
Jennifer's eyes roamed the beautiful mahogany furniture that filled the living room. There was a cream colored cabriole couch set that went along with the matching material that sat on top of the flat surfaces. The pillows that sat on the seats looked very fluffy and comfy.
The group walked through the room before she could get a good look at what was in the tall display cabinet she spotted in the corner.
As they moved down the hall, she noted various pictures that were framed and hung onto the walls. Many seemed to feature Henry and a tall man with dark features. Two held a woman, who wore a ballerina outfit in one and a gorgeous wedding dress in another.
 His wife?
The majority of them were of the same three children. Two boys and a girl. Jennifer figured the girl was Charlie, but who were the two boys? Did Henry have more than one kid? Her brows furrowed.
That couldn't be right. She'd have remembered if Quinn had mentioned him having more than one child.
The sight of the kitchen shoved all previous thoughts aside for the time being. It was the absolute opposite of the living room. From the pots and pans to the seating area, everything was mismatched. Even the colors weren't of any similarity. Yet there was still something congruous about it. It was even rather homey. It made the living room feel superfluous and showy, which was probably the point.
"Please, don't mind the mess. I didn't have any time this morning to clean up." Henry gave a nervous laugh. "Living out here, there's always something in need of fixing or being rebuilt. Then there's the company, of course…"
"We don't mind. Our place can get pretty messy too, sometimes." Harrison spoke up, happily making his way through the room. He looked perfectly at home. Henry's expression softened, a warmth filling his gaze as he looked at the boy.
"Is that so? I bet you're the one who probably makes the most messes." There was a spark of mischief that filled the older man's eye. It made him look so much younger.
Harrison stiffened, half way through reaching out to touch a salt shaker in the shape of a smiling elephant. He looked over to Henry with a guarded pout.
"I don't have any idea what you're talking about." The boy evaded, looking away. Henry chuckled and mercifully let it go.
"I just need to grab a couple of things here. If y'all want, you can go right out that door. Charlie's already out back, making up some dogs and patties. Figured you can never go wrong with a good old barbeque." He pointed to the door at the other side of the kitchen. It was open, with only the screen closed to keep out the bugs.
 All three guests perked up.
"Hot dogs sound really amazing, actually." Jennifer said, surprising herself. She didn't expect to already feel as comfortable as she did. The man hadn't been at all what she thought he'd be. Not that she'd spent any time actually dwelling on it. Even still, he was a stranger. People were always more than they seemed on the surface. It wasn't yet time for her to let her guard down.
"Agreed." Quinton echoed, giving Jennifer an approving squeeze to her shoulder. "My mouth is already watering at the thought of a homemade cheeseburger."
"Food." Harrison rubbed his belly. "Food is always good. Unless it's broccoli."
 The adults laughed.
"Well good. Now, go ahead and make your way out then. If you'd be so kind as to introduce Charlie to your cousins, Quinn?"
"Will do, boss." Quinton gave Henry a mock salute with a crooked smile. He went ahead and corralled the others outside.
It was much the same as the front of the property, with wild grass surrounded by a ring of trees. However the treeline was closer here. It was a peaceful area. With fresh air and twittering birds. If Jennifer listened hard enough, she could even hear the babble of a small river or stream.
Closer to the house, there was plenty for one to entertain family and guests. Off to the left was a fire pit surrounded by logs and camping chairs to sit on. In front of them was a picnic table, with some disposable plates and cups sitting beside a folded plaid cloth. Finally, to the right of them was where the grill was situated, and in front of it was a woman. No doubt, she was Charlotte Emily.
Said woman looked at them from over her shoulder. Ponytail whipping around with the movement. A smile graced her face upon seeing them.
"Well, hello there!" With one more quick glance to the grill, she turned herself a little more towards them. "It's so good to see you again, Quinn. I tell you, Pa was so glad that you agreed to come back for another visit."
"Glad to be back. This place is a heck of a lot more charming in the daylight than it is during the night." His words caused the woman to giggle.
"Too true. I won't deny it gets a bit spooky out here, come sundown."
Jennifer shivered at the admission. Bringing up her hands to rub at her arms. She noticed that beyond Charlie and the grill was an old, decently sized shed. Vaguely she wondered what was in it.
Then her eyes caught the other woman's and she offered up what she hoped was a smile.
"Why, hello to you both as well." Charlie gave a little wave. She was just as warm and charismatic as her father.
"Ah, yes. Charlie, meet Jenni and Harry. Guys, meet Charlie Emily." Quinton happily presented everybody. The siblings offered their own greetings to their second host. Then the young man looked around. "Where's, uh, Mari at?"
"Oh… around. She knows how creepy she can seem to people not acquainted or used to her." Charlie idly flipped a patty. Then she rolled her eyes up in thought. "You know, I think you're the first person who met her and just immediately accepted it. Outside of the family, that is."
"Well, I have to say. I've seen many weird things in my travels. An artificially intelligent robot puppet isn't too far out of the realm of possibility to me." Quinton shrugged and moved to take a seat at the table. Both Acker siblings continued to stand awkwardly near the screen door.
Jennifer knew that this was because Harry was waiting on her and wanted to see what she would do. It was just so paralyzing to hear her cousin and this other woman talk about a robot so familiarly. Like it was just another living being, living their life.
Maybe she was simply biased and had seen too many movies that warned of the dangers of AI. Because apparently the robot had AI. That had been some new information that she would have appreciated to know beforehand. She had simply assumed it had maybe some simple written parameters about keeping the family safe. Like a metal guard dog. Not think for itself. If AI was even that advanced in real life.
Had the animatronics from all the horror stories been AI, too?
Feeling her skin begin to crawl and knowing that she needed to push her mind out of thinking about the implications of potentially sentient machines, she looked back to the unfinished table supplies. She looked over to Charlie.
"Would it be okay if I helped set the table? It feels odd that I'm just standing around while you're doing all the work."
"You don't need to do anything you don't want, dear. You are the guest." Charlie looked back over with a smile. Though her face fell into understanding when she could see the anxiety practically wafting off the other girl. "I would appreciate the help, if you're offering…"
"Thanks." Jennifer slumped in relief and quickly got to work.
"No, thank you. I apologize that we weren't able to get everything done before you got here. Everyday seems to always present a new challenge for us Emilys." Charlie gave out a laugh, using a spatula to pick up some of the dogs and patties. She swiftly sat them inside a tinfoil carrier. There were a few more still cooking.
"It's no problem. I entirely understand the feeling. Just got let out of my latest semester of college. There didn't seem to be a time where I wasn't swamped with something."
"Oh, college! What are you majoring in, if I may ask?" Charlie's question presented a wonderful distraction from previous musings. Jennifer was happy to switch to thinking about future career possibilities and what she may want to do with her life. This subject was exactly what they stayed on as the two women worked on getting lunch ready as the boys occupied themselves.
Henry came out not too long after with some salad, veggies for the burgers and dogs, and some condiments. He'd also haggled the boys into helping him set up a foldable table to set next to the grill and bring out all the buns.
Once everything was ready, everyone grabbed their plates and got to work in filling them up. They all choose their seats at the table and Jennifer found that she didn't feel awkward at all about sitting right next to Charlie.
The other woman had insisted on sitting next to her, teasingly stating that girl's had to stick together. She also didn't find it too hard to smile at Charlie for it.
It was rare for her to feel so at home in an unfamiliar setting. There was just something that felt safe about this place. No wonder families had been so okay with coming to the original Fredbear's. She supposed that no one could have ever foreseen that a child would get their head bitten off by one of the robots. Speaking of the old restaurant, it had been unexpected to find that it had been on their property.
Jennifer looked over at the worn down converted barn with curiosity as she munched on her hot dog.
"She was our pride and joy at one point." The voice in her ear made her jump. She twisted around to see that Henry had scooted down his bench until he was sitting across from her at the end of the table. His hands were clasped and he looked on at what was left of the diner in nostalgic wistfulness. Slowly, his brilliant green eyes turned to look over at her with a soft smile. "Though, like all good things, it came to an end."
"I'm sorry about what happened. I know that what that boy and his family went through must have been so terrible. But it's also awful that you had to shut down your restaurant over it. You seem like such a wonderful and kind person." Jennifer was surprised at how much she meant that. She truly felt remorseful that such a person like this kept befalling upon such dreadful circumstances.
Henry hummed and stroked at his beard, his gaze going back to the diner. His eyes seemed to harden at whatever he was remembering.
"What happened in '83 was a tragedy. It was also a sign that I should have quit while I was ahead." He sighed as he took in the confusion that glittered across her face. "In my youth I was devastated. For them. For myself. For my restaurant. I wasn't yet ready to let go. But what happened to Evan— later to William's sanity or lack thereof… I should have just let go. Moved on. Perhaps followed my father's footsteps and just took over the ranch."
All these vague allusions only made Jennifer more perplexed, as she looked on to the diner. She was honestly becoming more curious as time went on. With Quinton's excited ramblings and now Henry's reluctant mutterings. She knew there was something more to this. To what had happened and perhaps what is happening now. Scary things may not have been her forté, but mysteries? She always loved a good mystery.
"Well, in the end, you're here. With your family and seem to be doing just fine. In my book, that seems pretty good." Jennifer gave Henry a warm smile. He smiled back, though it hadn't reached his eyes. She was starting to realize why Quinton had stated he was a kind yet sad man. There seemed to be something that'd happened to him in the past that he couldn't let go of. Something that needed closure. She wondered about what it could be.
Another last glance at the diner and Jennifer moved to get up. She'd finished her lunch and wished to clean up, though Henry stopped her before she could.
"Would you and Harry perhaps like to take a look?"
"I'm sorry?" She blinked. Henry chuckled.
"Of ol' Fredbear's? I can ask Charlie to give you both a little tour of the grounds while your cousin and I talk out the fine details."
"O-oh, um…" Her previous anxiety began to spike as thoughts of the Marionette animatronic suddenly glittered through her mind. Moving around and away from the house probably gave her a higher chance to run into the thing. She didn't think she was at all prepared for that.
Unfortunate for her, Harrison had overheard and eagerly came over.
"Oh, wow, Mr. Emily! I'd love to see what's in there. Maybe we'll see some ghosts." He wiggled his fingers in the air, with an exhilarated grin.
"No, no. No more ghosts. They've all moved on for the most part— w-well, provided there were any in the first place." The older man stumbled, scratching the back of his neck with red tinted cheeks. He glanced over at the others, inevitably catching his daughter's watchful gaze, before relaxing upon realizing the still calm atmosphere.
"Aw, okay." Harrison gave a pout. Then seemed to get over it fairly quickly. He was still getting the chance to check out an old, semi-abandoned diner. Especially one that all his friends assumed was haunted. That'd score him some bragging rights for sure. "Can we go right now?"
"Well, first of all, I'm gonna need some help in picking up our mess." Charlotte butted in, an eyebrow raised playfully. Her arm had extended out to gesture to the remaining garbage and food left upon the outside table. Most especially, Harrison's own big mess.
"W-we can help you, Charlie." The boy gave out a nervous giggle, head ducked down.
"Well, if you're offering, then could you please pick up anything that needs to be thrown away? Jenni, if you'd be so kind as to wrap up all the leftovers and place them on an available counter space in the kitchen? Don't be afraid to move anything to make some space if needed." Charlie held up a roll of tin foil and handed it over when the other young woman came up to retrieve it. Both Acker siblings had eagerly gotten started, one ready to get it done fast and the other relieved for just a little bit more procrastination. Charlie nodded appreciatively before making her way past them. "If you two need anything holler. I need to go inside and see if I can find those old keys to the diner."
"Sounds good, Char. Thank you for being willing to occupy our guests while Quinn and I talk shop." Henry got up from his own seat, which prompted Quinton to do the same. Charlie waved it off and gave her father a warm smile. Then the older man perked up, having forgotten something. "Oh! And sweetie, while the youngin's are helping pick up, why don't you go see if those keys are working correctly. I recall having a hard time opening up that darn door the last time I had the place inspected."
"Way ahead of you, Pa." She gave him a mock salute, to which he gave out a small laugh.
"Inspected?" Jennifer looked up from her work, glancing over to them curiously.
"We surely don't want the place falling apart or becoming a health hazard, would we? Plus, it'd be a shame if all my previous hard work was simply left to rot." Henry shook his head. "It may have ended badly but old Fredbear's still holds a place in my heart. Plus, we occasionally use it for storage or some extra space for parties. The wide dining room makes for some good family get-togethers."
"Not that we have very many of those anymore." Charlotte rolled her eyes before finally disappearing in the house. Henry sighed sadly and nodded in agreement. He pushed any more of those melancholy thoughts away, before politely urging Quinton on.
"All right, son. Let's go on and head over to my office. I have all the papers and the sort ready for us there. We have much to discuss, I'm sure."
"Yes, let's. Thank you again for having us over..." Quinton's voice faded away as the two men made their way further into the house and out of view. It was both a blessing and a little strange to be left alone at a stranger's home. Helping clean up, as if they'd been there for years.
It also kind of felt nice. Like the Emilys already trusted them to be left to their own devices within their own personal piece of the world. Then again, they did have that robot bodyguard roaming around. Perhaps they just simply didn't feel any need to worry as much, thanks to it keeping a watchful eye on their land.
Or maybe they just genuinely enjoyed and felt comfortable enough around them.
Jennifer had a hard time believing that last part. Her mind couldn't fully wrap around just simply being at ease around one you didn't fully know. That's not to say you shouldn't be kind or polite. Just that one needed to be careful. She'd had one too many people walk all over her, in her younger years, to not have a guard up around people that weren't her family. Or Harper.
She wondered how her best friend was doing. All alone in her childhood home, as she tried to convince her cousin to house-sit for her. The brunette couldn't wait for her to fly over. She made a mental note to call her and catch up.
"Done!" Harrison's voice carried over to her from the fire pit. She looked over as he proudly looked upon his hard work.
"That's awesome, twerp. Why don't you come over here and help a sibling out? I just finished wrapping everything and I need to get it all inside."
"Aw, what?" The boy groaned. "Why do I always have to pick up the slack? All you old people are slow."
Jennifer's eyebrow slowly raised up. Had he seriously just said what she thought he said?
"Oh…?" She fully turned towards him, placing down the roll of time foil. He froze up as he took on her expression, realizing that he'd just bitten off more than he could chew. "I'm sorry, could you repeat that? I don't think I heard you correctly. Because from what I remember, the house was a pigsty when I came back home. Mom's been swamped with work and you've just been sitting on your butt playing mostly videogames when I got settled in. Have you been the one keeping things clean? Have you been the one making sure there's some proper meals on the table? So, again, could you repeat that?"
Harrison had begun to sweat bullets halfway through her rant. He squirmed where he stood, frozen in the light of her frightening gaze. Honestly, throughout his life he was always more scared of angering his sister than his mom. That wasn't to say that he didn't respect his mother, just that she was never really good when it came to dishing out punishments and the like. He had always had an easy time getting away with stuff due to his mom's forgiving and gentle nature.
But his sister… she had taken up the mantle of being the firm hand in his life. A place where, supposedly, his father would have taken had he been alive to do so. The thought of disappointing his mother would be hard to swallow. The thought of disappointing his sister would be like choking and gasping for air. He wouldn't be able to live with himself if he'd ever lost their approval.
Jennifer had been there to all of his life's biggest moments. School events, sports games, and would always be willing to do something with him. Even if she found it boring and boyish. He could remember the many times she'd willingly wrestled in the mud with him. Thrown a baseball in a game of catch with him. Listened to him rave about the latest game coming out. Happily sat around and helped out in whatever crazy project he'd think up; from "improving" the toaster to fixing up his alarm clock when he'd accidentally broke it one morning.
He'd never willingly tell anybody this, but his sister did everything he'd assumed his dad would have done. Everytime he thought about his "dad", it'd always be in comparison to Jennifer. Which was weird cause she was a girl and most definitely not a dad.
"U-um…" He shifted in his place, twiddling his thumbs. "It was nothing. I think you're the bestest sister in the world. There's no one like you and you're very hard working and did I mention that I love you? Cause I love you lots—"
"Okay, bud. I get it, you don't have to slather it on so thick." Jennifer rolled her eyes with a smile, any irritation fading away. She loved her baby bro and would do anything for him. Not that she'd ever let him know that last part. He'd become power hungry and unbearable. "Get over here and help me, please."
He quickly stepped up and grabbed onto the nearest containers, earning himself a warning about being careful when he nearly overturned. With two pairs of hands, the job was done quickly and they sat down on a log that sat around the fire pit and waited for Charlotte to come back. They looked at the unlit cauldron-like bowl with wonder. Their home didn't have anything like this.
"I wonder if we can convince Henry and Charlie to let us come over again and roast some s'mores?" Harrison thought aloud, as he poked at the burnt remains within the bowl with a stick he picked up.
"I'm sure they would, they seem really nice. I honestly wouldn't mind coming back here. It's rather peaceful." She looked around the grounds with a smile on her face. They'd been there long enough that the sun was lowering on the horizon and shedding pretty warm colors on everything around them. It wasn't sunset yet. That wouldn't be for another couple hours more. She couldn't believe how quickly the time went. It truly flew when you were having fun. To which she did have fun.
"You wouldn't even mind it even with Marionette here?" Her brother's words caused her to dig her nails into the palm of her hands. Well, now her mood was ruined.
"You know, I could have easily gone the rest of the day forgetting about… that."
"Sorry." His apology didn't sound very true when paired with his grin. "I kind of want to meet her though. I'd love a chance to meet a robot. You think she can talk like you and me?"
"N-no!" She winced at her immediate response. "May-maybe? I don't know. I've only ever met animatronics at amusement parks. They only spoke in recorded voice lines. I want to say that I highly doubt it. Henry may be considered a "mechanical genius" by Quinn, but surely he couldn't have figured out how to create true AI before even most of the professional engineers."
"How do you know he's not a professional?" Harrison narrowed his eyes and crossed his arms.
"Why would a professional mechanical engineer choose to create a small diner for family entertainment? And not for a bigger, more beneficial job?" She gave him a sharp look.
"I don't know." He deflated when he didn't have a counter argument. She sighed and patted his shoulder comfortingly.
Then a loud bang coming from the diner reached their ears, followed by a rather loud screech. It sounded like something was mangling metal.
Jennifer shot out of her seat in a heartbeat and pulled her brother up with her. She pushed him behind her as her mind struggled to catch up to what she'd heard.
"What was that?!" Harrison squeaked out.
"I-I don't know but it came from the diner."

FNAF Security Breach: Analyzing Vanessa’s Therapy Tapes With Violet-Tinted Glasses
Or at least an attempt to, as we’ll see shortly.
My main goal for today is to show what we could learn if—emphasis on that if—William Afton was controlling Vanessa at certain points of these sessions. Both for Vanessa’s character and for William’s.
This is also assuming that someone (or something) else is controlling Patient 46 in order to avoid a conundrum.
Buckle up once again. This is going to be even wordier than last time, and a whoooole lot more in head-canon territory rather than actual theory. Below is a summary of each session with certain parts of dialogue being discussed.
——
Tape 1
This is what I’m going to call “The Benchmark Tape”, as this is Vanessa at her most… Well, I say normal, but she’s still pretty irritated.
Cone to think of it, I can’t tell if her defensive tone is because of her genuinely not knowing why Fazbear’s has called her in or not. If I recall correctly, she had a similarly aggressive tone in the FNAF movie. I know that’s a very different timeline, but I can’t help but wonder…
Anyway, it turns out that this isn’t her first time here. She was actually brought in for anxiety sometime prior to—I can only assume—Glitchtrap’s antics in Help Wanted 1.
Her new issue is “sudden” and had “come up unexpectedly”, according to the therapist. I assume this is about the encrypted conversation she’s having with Glitchtrap and/or 46, but I suspect there’s something else too. Something I’ll get to in the next tape.
Vanessa does admit to talking to Luis from the marketing department. She thinks “he’s nice, I guess”. Keep that in mind for later.
Before I move on, however, there’s one thing I have to confess: I honestly thought that Vanessa’s voice went flat only a couple of times after this tape. And, thusly, it was a good indicator for when William is the one actually talking.
Turns out she’s actually deadpan for nearly the rest of the recordings.
Soo.. Yeah. That wasn’t a good strategy after all.
Thankfully, FNAF Wiki’s transcript of the CDs and @kevciaran’s William Analysis came in clutch. I’ll be combining both of their methods and using them as tools: The Wiki’s use of marking Vanny’s fainter lines, and anything that lines up with what Kev noticed in his Sister Location segment.
Anyway, onto…
Tape 3
A new therapist has replaced the old one. Vanessa, though obviously more “tired”, is aware enough to notice. The new woman, however, isn’t all that worried. According to her, all this research she’s been doing makes it feel like they’ve “known each other for weeks”!
Therapist 2 recaps on something we haven’t heard about before: her dad Bill. She double-checks on the name, but all the only answer she gets is muttering… For a second. Then we get our first response from William.
“I try to do what I’m supposed to do.” - I want to say he’s ignoring the question (as he did in Sister Location), but.. He sounds so tired, I can’t tell if it’s intentional. He might actually be just thinking out loud or—dare I imply it this soon—even deflecting for entirely different reasons? Either way, it’s.. even more ominously morose than that one Scraptrap line. Which is a feat.
Therapist 2 unwittingly agrees with “Vanessa”, then goes back on topic. She walks through the custody case, understandably badmouthing her (“her”?) dad along the way. She concludes the gentle-as-possible recap with relaying the fate of Vanessa’s mom— Which, although censored out by an audio glitch, does not bode well. What also doesn’t bode well is this sudden response:
“I was supposed to be a good girl” - Yes. The Wiki’s ‘faintly’ method implies that it’s William saying it under the guise of Vanessa. Considering that this is unprompted as well (along with the even more noticeable voice crack [and now I’m getting even more concerned for the man’s wellbeing]), I can only assume that William was having some… worrisome memories and was trying to get his thoughts out while staying in character.
Thankfully, Therapist 2 comforts Vanessa as best she can. It wasn’t Vanny’s fault, after all. Yes, she did provide the testimony that caused her mom’s apparent demise— But, again, it’s her dad that should be blamed here. Not her.
Or… “her’, if the whole custody case thing was the sudden issue that came up. Given the fact that the previous therapist didn’t bring it up at all in the Benchmark Tape, the fact that Vanessa suddenly gets all deadpan from here on out, and Patient 46’s introduction into this narrative… Call it a wild hunch from left field, but I now have my suspicions.
Tape 5
Therapist 2 confronts Vanessa about her texting a non-employee during work hours. A manipulative non-employee at that. When she asks about who this person is, Therapist 2 hears this response:
“I get a lot of messages from friends. I like when Luis writes to me, he's funny.” - William not only dodges the question (again), but he also attests to texting Luis. …That, or he’s trying to match up with how Vanessa acts again. Either way, he thinks Luis is funny— Even cracking a half-smile of sorts, which I wasn’t expecting. Make of this what you will, I guess?
Therapist 2 is having none of this. She warns Vanessa that her files are being hacked. Files with a whole bunch of details about her life on them. And what does Vanessa answer after being asked about the ramifications?
“I'm not in the tech department. I just type on the computers.” - …Yet another deadpan dodge by William. Given his prior work in both business and technology, he’s gotta know the actual answer to that.
Therapst 2 agrees with “her” again, but once again issues a word of caution: This stranger definitely knows a lot about her. And the reply?
”Lots of people know more than I do. Sometimes I need to listen.” - Okay, now we’re back to William just thinking out loud. This is pretty telling, however. It almost implies that William’s confidence has dwindled a bit since UCN… Though, again, it’s also possible that he’s trying to impersonate Vanessa for currently unknown reasons. I’m definitely not ruling that out.
Tape 7
Therapist 2 is out [blame Patient 46], and Therapist 3 is in. However, this time, neither Vanessa nor the therapist seems bothered by this. In fact, they have a very brief talk about candy before they start. Therapist 3 offers some, but “Vanessa” answers:
”No, thank you. Those have thirty-five calories a piece.” - …Well, I’m not completely sure if this is William answering here, going by the lack of indicators. However, given the fact that Vanessa apparently orders cupcake cookbooks according to a scrapped FNAF AR email (and, y’know, the fact that she later has a job that requires her to run up three floors), I’m going to assume that’s the case. This does imply that William is bizarrely health-conscious… Which makes a lot more sense when you remember that one description of him from the Silver Eyes. Guess he doesn’t want to look “fat and affable”, even as a ghost haunting someone else’s body ..
As the rest of this session concerns inkblot tests, I’m going to assume Vanessa quickly regained control here and move on. Her answers are something to note, being “a tree house” and “a beetle”. There is also ‘I like to sit outside and read’ in response to one of the questions, but this really could be either of them.
Tape 9
This session starts with Vanessa smelling some flowers that Therapist 3 has set out. They then have a one-sided conversation about gardens and hobbies, which reveals Vanessa apparently doesn’t have hobbies. Therapist 3, always being the chill kinda person, offers up her craft space in her basement as a place to do stuff. “Vanessa” refuses, saying this almost as an aside:
”I don’t like dark basements” - Given William’s history with dark and empty rooms, this one’s actually not that surprising. Dark basements, though? …I’d say this is a reference to Sistsr Location and brush this off, but that bunker had plenty of lighting. Maybe—dare I say it—we have another hint that William’s childhood was miserable??
Tape 10
This one is short, but at least it gives a hint as to what Vanessa actually looks like when haunted by William.
Case in point: Therapist 3 notes “Vanessa’s” comfy posture, even stating ‘It looks like you could take a nap’. Guess Will really likes the chair.
Therapist 3 also brings up Vanessa’s discussions with the Encrypted Individual, mentioning that it’s getting more serious. She asks if it’s distracting her from her work, which prompts this:
”My work is important. There's a non-disclosure agreement.” - There’s not only a grit of her teeth during ‘My work is important’, but there’s also a slight smugness in ‘There’s a non-disclosure agreement’. For a second, the William we’ve seen for the past ten years comes back in full force.
Key words there: For a second. As we’ll see in the next tape, things quickly become less smooth-sailing and more “oh no” inducing.
Tape 11
This session begins with Vanessa admiring the blue sky, which Therapist 3 comments on. The conversation quickly changes once Therapist 3 brings up Vanessa’s search history. Therapist 3 inquires if Vanny’s been doing private searches on company time, which leads to:
”I get breaks” - Short, sweet, to the point. Also completely dodging the question. Again.
Therapist 3 tries again, but from a different angle. She brings up the fact that Vanny is ordering some stuff to make a costume. She asks “what are you going to make?”, which gives us the return of the indistinct muttering.
Therapist 3 (with much better hearing than Therapist 2, I reckon) catches a part of what Vanessa is saying. “Did you say the costume is a secret?” she inquires in genuine confusion. “Why is that?
“Vanessa” panics.
“I can't talk about this. He said he would always be watching. He could be here or there or anywhere in between.” - …As if I wasn’t concerned about William’s wellbeing already. Not because he sounds paranoid here, but because there’s a very high chance he’s right. Patient 46 has had a habit of being the cutting off point for the last two therapists, and Therapist 3 hasn’t been cut off yet…
Therapist 3, unfortunately, doesn’t take this as a warning. She assumes that this is about Vanessa’s dad and advises Vanny to resolve the issue. Vanessa seemingly pushes William aside and yells about “locking ‘him’ away” (most likely referring to Glitchtrap). Her voice finally breaks the deadpan threshold, only to sink back into it a few seconds later.
The tape ends with Therapist 3 and Vanessa talking about facing a memory head-on. This could be narrative foreshadowing somehow, but we’ll have to wait and see.
Side Note: I can see William saying “I have! I compartmentalized him. He's locked away.”; but Vanessa sounds like she briefly regained control there. If that’s the case, then it could be inferred that William got too scared and ‘let go’. Maybe.
Tape 12
Unfortunately, it’s time for Vanessa to go to the Pizzaplex. Therapist 3 offers to continue the sessions away from Fazbear Entertainment, but the offer is shot down by Vanessa:
“I'm needed somewhere else now. Thank you.” - Short, bittersweet, and absolutely ominous. For Vanessa, we know where she’s heading. But William? No idea. What we do know is that Vanessa definitely regained most of her control by the time Security Breach happens. So that probably means William’s haunting was only a temporary procedure. And, until we get more explanations, we’re not going to know exactly why.
(Also: It’s kinda heartwarming to imagine William thanking this therapist with a geniune half-smile. Vanny’s tone is seriously so warm, yet so tired.)
(And, by the way, Therapist 3 disappears after this tape. Somehow, Patient 46 strikes again…)
Final Notes
William, as expected, is not up for answering questions directly. Unlike in Sister Location, however, he seems to not take pleasure in this. There’s no smile in his words here, save the occasion ones that I’ve mentioned. Just a general sense of weariness.
When he does show emotion, it’s mostly just panic and/or self-loathing. He could still be trying to act as Vanessa, sure, but he did also crawl out of UCN. Maybe it broke his confidence enough that he can’t even trust himself anymore…? To the point where he’s also in danger of being manipulated? I mean, it did happen with him in Fazbear Frights epilogues…
Tangent aside, he is definitely not the same after the FNAF 6 fire. There is not a lot of bragging. There is not a lot of smiling or hinting at plans. He even mutters a few times, which is something he’s never done up to this point. He’s officially reached the same levels of brokenness his son Mike had, whether Will wants to admit this narrative irony or not.
Also, Vanessa apparently has enough trust to let him talk during the majority of these sessions. I dunno why that’d be the case, but maybe it’s just a temporary truce.
TL;DR on the whole thing: I’m very concerned for both of them, if this turns out to be true. It’s one thing to have an innocent bystander get mentally hijacked by a bizarre virus. It’s another thing entirely if the bystander and the ghost that’s haunting her are in agreement about being in absolute peril. Especially if it’s the ghost of an absolute villain whose entire livelihood once centered around making others suffer.

Reminiscing Childhood Pt. 1 (Kodoku's Lilacs, The Life of a Flowstar, No. 14)
So this won't just be like a Pt. 1, Pt. 2 like the hospital trip, I'll do this like once in a while. Unfortunately, I have a terrible memory with childhood for some reason, but I'll look through old photos of me to see what I can remember. For now, let's talk about a place that isn't the same from before.
Chuck E. Cheese, where a kid can be a kid. I remember this place like I am still there. There was a big place where you can go up and chill in this racecar, there was a stage with Chuck E. Cheese and the others, you had a cup with tokens to go play games, and there was even this tube where we stand in it and tickets fly around and people can watch, there was even home video recorded of me and someone in there too, I was like 2-3.
It was a happier FNAF, and yes I'd like to bring that up lol. FNAF was also a childhood thing of mine, I remember watching Markiplier doing his playthroughs when they first came out. I even had a Toy Freddy plush, I remember hanging out with my friends with their other FNAF plushies too, including them having Golden Freddy. I could've sworn I still had it around this house I'm currently in somewhere, I know I made a cringe video with it, I don't know where I could've lost it. Anyways, back to the present (more like a year ago lol).
After a few years of leaving my home state, I came back to visit for the whole summer, and I did many things, including go to the same old Chuck E. Cheese. But wait, this wasn't the same old Chuck E. Cheese I'd remember. This was 2022, the playground with the racecar was gone, tokens and tickets were replaced with the virtual card. The saddest part, was the stage and the tube with all the flying tickets in it, gone, as it never was there. It hurt my heart that the stuff I grew up with was gone, but at least I had fun, I got into a photo booth with my little niece, and I still have that picture sitting at our refrigerator.
Not gonna lie, it's making me sad knowing that it's not the same Chuck E. Cheese with the tokens in the cup and shit, but like life, stuff has to change. Like my childhood turning into an adulthood, like my happy freedom turning into a boring life working as a cashier until the day I die. I'm happy I did visit the place tho, it was most likely going to be my last time visiting anyways, considering that state is expensive, but it was worth it. I bet it's probably gonna be the same nostalgia looking back at this Tumblr journal. Anyways, I hope you found my reminiscing interesting, and have a good night.
Sincerely, Kodoku.

FNAF - Springtrap x Listener SFW: Open the Door | ASMR Roleplay | Voice Acting | Audio
[M4A] [Manipulation] [Seduction??] [Flirting??]
You're the guard in FNAF 3 and Springtrap appears at the windows and tries to convince you to let him into the room with you. After all your employers have been terrible for throwing you in here with these monsters. He's on your side. He wants to help you get out safely without those other terrible animatronics hurting you. They won't touch you while he's here. So, won't you open the door?
The soft boy attempts to be spooky scary. Did it work? It's a very different tone from any audio I've tried to do before. If you have more ideas for Springtrap/Afton please let me know! I'm having a hard time coming up with ideas for him so without requests I don't know that I'll make another audio of him.
If you enjoy listening to my audios please considering dropping me a small donation on Ko-Fi or supporting me on Patreon (where at the moment you get optional access to my Discord and HD downloadable MP3s of all my audios). I improv/write, record, and edit all of these myself, as well as doing artwork for any original character roleplays. It takes a while to put everything together so any support is appreciated. Audio commissions are currently open, information is in my pinned post.  As always, I also post my audios to Youtube, and have Youtube, soundg-asm, Twitter, AO3, Ko-Fi and Patreon.
(Also up in better quality on my soundgasm. SFW audios are in full on Youtube.) [minors + ageless blogs dni. this blog is for 18+ only.] [do not repost/reupload/edit my audios]

Hi! As a masc enby person I love so much your blog! I loved your puppet story and your cat is beautiful! Could you maybe do something with Spring Bonnie in it? Either head canons or a story, whatever you feel like. Romantic or platonic I don’t mind either. If reader uses they/them or he/him pronouns or both is fine, myself I use both. I will be happy no matter what you write. And only if and when you feel like it, I don’t mean to bother you, thank you so much! -🌻
Ofc I can! Sorry for taking so long, a lot's been going on lately. I did, however, manage to finally get around to it though!
Also dw you don't bother me at all :0 (in fact I encourage you to request more in the future if you want. The ask limit is 10 per hour--)
(Also thank you for complimenting patches!! <3 she’s a great cat i love her a lot)
Spring Bonnie (FNAF) x Masc Reader
Warnings: N/A
.
Spring Bon, all things considered, is a pleasure to be around. Sure, he might not be the most talkative or social being but that works out very well for you – the two of you can sit in prolonged silence enjoying each other's company. It works especially well since his love language is quality time, though he does seem very fond and set on gifting you things from time to time. Not a lot, and usually only on special occasions – if the special occasion is that he wanted to surprise you to make your day a bit brighter.
Even though you're pretty sure you're good at hiding how you feel he's much better at observing and putting two and two together than you'd think – he's yet to not notice when you're under the weather for whatever reason. Days like that usually end up with him being by your side as much as he can be while the two of you work. It works out when you're serving, not so much when you're on kitchen duty or working in the back for whatever reason.
That's what you get for working minimum wage – you end up with minimum training having to do tasks that definitely weren't in your contract. You're surprised you didn't get injured during one of your shifts, especially when your manager instructed you to go to the back to fix up and clean up the spring bunny. Supposedly a child tripped and spilled pizza sauce onto him, though how did a child manage to throw a slice as high as the tall animatronic's shoulder is beyond you. Maybe they're just REALLY good at playing catch.
That's alright though, you didn't question it. You know better than to question things around here – and at this point things might just happen. If you don't care, it doesn't matter.
You knew there's something more about those spring-trapped robots than the ones you've seen before though. Spring Bonnie especially, might be because you've always been fond of him. The chill that went down your spine when you realised that his eyes are following you ask you gently dab the red stain off him threw you off completely. You surprised yourself when you took a step back and clicked your tongue at him, apparently very fed up with having to do so much in one day.
“Really? You're just gonna stare at me? No thank you? You've got hands, you can clean yourself, you know.”
You didn't expect a response, and with how tired you were you would've chalked it up to exhaustion speaking. To be fair though, you're too tired to care. It doesn't matter anyway. You barely managed to rise your eyebrows when his voice box clicked to life to thank you.
“Huh... Alright. You're welcome.” With a shrug you get back to work.
By the time you were done getting the stains out and fixing up his arm you've basically recited your entire life story up to this point (with him politely listening and asking questions when he thought was appropriate), not caring much to overshare with the probably sentient bunny. Who cares if he's got a recording device inside of him? At this point they can't fire you. Literally, they've got no one else who'd cover for others – you're pretty much the only reason this place is still standing. #1 Employee of this, last and every month since your favourite co-worker quit and their responsibilities were thrust onto you instead.
Sucks, sure, but at least you don't have to worry about going home hungry – there's more than enough pizza and food to feed you for breakfast, lunch AND dinner.
Since that day you've been much more aware of the animatronics, though Bonnie went from your preferred one out of the two to absolute favourite. Soon enough you went out of your way to spend time with him, chalking up on repair and upkeep manuals just to become the designated mechanic for the both of them. If the restaurant doesn't have to pay extra to hire a professional and can use you to fix them without insurance? That's alright. They'll just wash their hands off any association with you if something horrible happens to you.
While you're painfully aware of that, you don't care very much. You have a lawyer friend, and you're not dumb enough to go digging into the spring locks – that's off the table. You can definitely do general upkeep though.
More than once you've stayed hours behind closing just to hang out with Bonnie more, and once or twice you've snuck him out while he was supposedly out of order (according to the most trusted employee - yourself).
A few times you've briefly thought about sneaking him out for good or buying him off the restaurant but then you remembered you're living paycheck-to-paycheck and the last thing you want is to get arrested for property theft. For now this will have to do. Later? Who knows. Maybe you'll manage to rent an apartment close enough to the diner next year.

William Afton / Chinese Zodiac Analysis - Golden Rabbit
I think I mentioned this topic a YEAR ago, maybe even 2, but a recent thread of William’s obscession with rabbits reminded me of it. (For the record, if you read Resurrection Seeker, my AU, you’ll see why I have him obscessed with rabbits. Funny story, there’s a demented ass scene in Fatal Attraction I saw through a parody and now because of how I wrote William’s backstory and inspiring my own obscession with rabbits, well, not sure if I could ever watch it...) TANGENT ASIDE, in my research for my AU, I stumbled across this Chinese Zodiac for rabbits (it’s my Chinese zodiac too! But mine is Fire Rabbit) and I wanted to write up some comparisons between William’s character and the zodiac. I don’t believe any of this was intentional on Scott’s part and is a happy coincidence.
First off, you must assume William is born in ‘51, which isn’t too farfetched, considering he was probably late 30s-40s in 1980ish~ when Fredbear’s began.
1951 February 6, 1951 – January 26, 1952 to be precise.I personally made William’s birthday in November but that was based on his first appearance in FNAF 2 (and ironically made William and Henry have bdays lining up w/my wife and I which is sort of a running thing I do with our OCs) and obviously we have no birthdate for him.
Rabbits tend to be gentle, quiet, elegant, and alert as well as quick, skillful, kind, patient, and very responsible. However, they might be superficial, stubborn, melancholy, and overly-discreet.
A few words stand out here, although not all match William’s canon descriptions: elegant, alert, quick, skillful, superficial, stubborn, overly-discreet. These stand out the most to me. My AU William is actually gentle/quiet and melancholy before he gives into his own demons, too. Most of the first mentioned words relate to William’s narcissism/manipulation, ability to build animatronics, and his ability to get away with murder on several occasions.
Males who belong to the Rabbit zodiac sign always treat people politely, with a gentle smile that makes people feel that they are credible and sincere.
when encountering tough difficulties, they are never discouraged but instead remain persistent in their endeavors to find solutions. This means they eventually achieve enviable success.
This is for males specifically under the golden rabbit. Even if William’s actions weren’t genuine (treating people politely) this is evident of his manipulative social skills to get people like Henry, the customers, or kiddos to do whatever needs to be done and ties into his persistence on gaining immortality, his need to be better than Henry, and ultimately appear as a successful person (I imagine his home life wasn’t good and was a lot of “we look great on the outside but are assholes on the inside”, especailly considering this ideal was common in 50s America)
Gold Rabbit: Kind-hearted, conservative, lively and enthusiastic
This section describes the element and what it means. In this case, gold. I am disappointed this doesn’t line up as much as I’d expect it to, except that it really fits his persona as Spring Bonnie. Once again, the character he plays has to appear kind (ex: when he tells Suzie her dog is alive and he will help her) and lively/enthusiastic (ex: Glitchtrap’s dancing which is also shown in the novels as Springtrap) If you’re worried I left conservative out, well, it’s a hard word to pinpoint in 2020. I’m American so I can only view this politically on face value (big business first, mainly), which would align with William or any businessman from the 80s. Everything was about appearances, money, and power. For the word itself, it’s defined as averse to change or innovation and holding traditional values, which doesn’t fit much at all, IMO. This one was kind of a miss.
Lucky numbers: 3, 4 6
Unlucky numbers: 1, 7, 8
I don’t have too much to add for the numbers, unfortunetly. If anyone could think of anything, I’d love to hear your ideas! The only thing that stood out to me was “1″, aka TOYSNHK / The One you should not have killed. Fits the unlucky number well...
Lucky colors: pink, red, purple, blue
Unlucky colors: brown, dark yellow, white
This is really interesting! The funtimes are associated with pink and white. Ballora and the Afton family line’s eye color tends to skew towards blue. Red is the color of passion, of blood, love, and anger. Then, well, do I need to write an essay about PURPLE?
Ironically I couldn’t think of much for brown, but the dark yellow is very close to Spring Bonnie’s sprite color and I find it amusing and ironic that it’s unlucky, considering the springlock suits, considering Afton’s first death (and if you believe the novels, the springlock incident he survived once). White is shown as a symbol color for the ghost children or ghosts in general (and correct me if I’m wrong, but remnant also), so this could be a good implication for white being one of William’s unlucky colors!
I won’t go into the flowers or directions, mostly because I don’t feel like researching those things and we rarely see this things appear in FNAF in a relevant way. If you want to look into it yourself, the link to my resource is at the bottom of the post!
Careers: Intellectual, scholarly, and learned, Rabbits can enjoy a good career as well as wealth. With a pair of dexterous hands, Rabbits have a gift for calligraphy and painting as well as tailoring and cooking. The best careers for Rabbits are in the fields of cultivation, breeding, education, religion, health care, medicine, culture, police/judiciary work, and politics.
Skill with computers, machines, science, and politics sounds right in line with William to me. He’s shown being able to build robots and other devices like the SCUP, he’s quite literally a mad scientist researching remnant, and politician’s personality (generalized) line up with liars, manipulators, and people who can put on a show.
A/N: Breeding. That’s just funny (but also expected) If I had to make this fandom joke serious, I mean... he has three children.
Rabbits should be more careful about all aspects of their lives in Rabbit years. The next Rabbit year is 2023.
Well, FNAF 3 happened in 2023. Not really sure it was bad luck for William, but it is kind of cool that it takes place in the next Rabbit calendar year. (And if you’re wondering, no, I’m dreading it.)
Strengths: Rabbits have good social relationships. They are popular with others as they are gentle and considerate. With a good sense of humor, they can turn a dispute into a good discussion and make enemies into friends.
Weaknesses: With an excess of universal love and charity, they may have conflicts of interest. With a lack of resolution, they have trouble with being emotionally swayed.
I mean both of these really just boil down to William’s personality of being a manipulative, jealous asshole in canon. This would just be repeating the points I stated earlier.
Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this short little breakdown. Is it 100% accurate? Hell no. I’m personally missing a lot of these traits and everything should be taken as a fun experiment to possibly use for headcanons and satisfy curiousity for one of FNAF’s underdeveloped characters and his possible relationships with others. Again, if you’d like to do your own research, here’s a starting point below. I’m sure some sites will vary a bit and I used mostly information for the Golden Rabbit specifically, so your info may differ. This was just a fun side project I wanted to do for a long time and I’m glad I got to share it. I bet even some Spring Bonnie (as his own character) enthusiasts may find this useful!
