One thing I love about making my cruddy little videos is having certain realisations about Nowhere Boys, like someone saying something in the background that I've never really noticed or how insane the bbc censorship of this show is (removing both Andy and Felix off-handedly saying that Sammy was better looking than Sam, removing Jake holding up Andy's voodoo doll in Series 1 and Felix holding up Sam's in Series 2, removing us much as they can of Sam muttering one sentence about the dark arts despite it being in the background, etc.) or...
Jake anytime Felix and Sam interact
vs
Sam anytime Jake and Andy interact
(I'm absolutely gonna compile clips together to make a stupid little crack video)
@overnightheartbeats said: "what is your problem?" - for andy from this meme.
Andrew had properly RSVP'ed through the written invitation as he had told the youngest Grey sibling he would do, and despite his earlier threats to her, he was at the charity gala per his parents expectations; dressed in his finest three piece suit. He'd already made niceties with the host and hostess and of course greeted his own parents, and now he was more or less free to himself - to be on his best behavior of course, but still, he had a little breathing room.
When he heard Phoebe's voice he couldn't help the smirk that found his lips though he painted a look of annoyance on his features as he turned around to face her. "What is with you?" he asked, taking a sip of his scotch. "Are you obsessed with me or something?" he teased, unable to help as his smirk crept onto his features. "But please, tell me what I did to upset you now Little Grey?"
One thought as I finally watched the interview/podcast with Chester.
Really liked how comfortable Andy is with his college friend. I always love when two real friends talk and share little glimpses of past years and memories. Of course we are mainly used to Andy talking on Late night w/ Seth (bffe of course and groomsmen) or even Tonight w/Jimmy (who introduced L.I. to Lorne), but each convo has a different (not in a bad way) vibe. As we all have with each one of our long term friends. (They really laughed about the intro- both Chester's and Seth's - snl is deeply in Seth's heart and soul).
And it was really cute when Chester reminded Andy stories from the past, and of course of his wedding with beautiful -Jay-Z fan- Joanna.
There were uploaded parts of the interview previously, but some of them -those where Chester asks Andy to decide one choice of some dilemmas- were not part of the main (an hour long!- thank YOU) interview. Can we wait for at least one dilemma more? Or am I just biased and excited because Andy is resurfacing and just keep on asking more? Oh well... He talked a little about Lee, too - anybody having an idea about is happening with the movie? I know it had a screening in Tiff, but are they still searching for a company to buy it?
I will probably post some little thoughts and stuff nobody asked me here and then, like sth little I would write in my daily scrapbook/journal, just for fun and my recent 'love' for this guy. Used to watch Snl videos occasionally on Youtube, but when I watched b99 in quarantine and again in May -where all begun- I finally realised who Andy was.
Scorpius had been staring at his best friends wrist since he had found her in the crowd, he had tried his best to keep his eyes on her face, but he knew he was also doing a terrible job at it. "Alright, I've tried to mind my own business, but let's face it, I'm not sure I'm capable of that when it comes to you." Scorpius commented, handing her a drink. "It's complicated?"
Who: @aindreisblythe and Rory
Where: Sunny Side Up Diner
After meeting Aindreis and stumbling onto the topic of astronomy, Rory realized quickly that she had made a new friend. There was something she always liked about the moon and the stars and she could go on for hours talking about them. So having a friend in town that she could relate to in regards to that, made her feel at home a bit. As she sat across from him at the diner, they waited for the server to come take their order. "You know, growing up in LA, I was never able to actually see the stars at night. So ever since moving here, I find myself looking up at them each and every chance I get. That is before my brother yells at me to come inside." She chuckled, playing with the fork on her napkin.
" i think i owe you an apology, " and it isn't much, really, but until they get out from beneath the thumb of the upper echelon, the best he's been able to do is grab one of the cocktails from a server platter so that he can present it with a sheepish smile. that feeling is unfamiliar to him, honestly, though it's not everyday that he manages to write himself into the karkaroff twins bad books - it was probably always gonna happen, at least someday, but merlin, he wishes that he hadn't gotten andie caught in the crossfire. hence the drink. " i knew she wouldn't act right, but i should've given you a better heads up, " or any heads up, really, though this is another thing that arturo neglects to add, " mikaela doesn't mean any harm by lookin'. nikolai, on the other hand... "
Andrew couldn't help the slight chuckle that left him at her retort. He'd always thought that sass of hers was amusing. "It would be odd if it were a social call coming from you, since you usually reserve those for my brother." he mused. Blue hues glanced down as she dropped the envelope on his desk. "The point is to probably maintain the Grey-Goldman alliance, clearly." he said with confidence as though it were obvious. Their parents had been friends since he was a kid. He reached out and grabbed the envelope holding it up slightly. "Tony get one of these?" he asked, unable to help his curiosity.
