this is kind of random, but poking around on the glee subreddit recently, I saw quite a few names from people I recognize from tumblr. And I'm just kind of curious what the final straw was for you finally giving up on that place? I think for me, it was their Pollyanna-ish need to sugarcoat how ugly things became bts. I mean, those people will still lose their minds if it's suggested it wasn't "scheduling conflicts" that kept Dianna out of the The Quarterback or that Lea/Naya weren't besties.

Oh kind of random is my jam. I've talked briefly about leaving the sub before but I guess this is my opportunity to fully ponder. Tell all! *NOT* clickbait: why I left the sub! Lmao

I wanna reflect on your final straw first because I find it interesting. It's not something I ever paid much attention to but you're apt with the Pollyanna-ish need. On the one hand, I get it when people are fed up with discussions around BTS drama and the lives of real people that we'll never get to know the intricacies of and the full truth. On the other, such is the nature of forums that popular topics will get rehashed and people will have differing opinions. My problem was with the users who'd be so quick to dismiss everything and it was like they wanted to shut all discussions down. Idk if it's still the case now, but if you were on the sub last year you know what I'm talking about. And it's like, dude, just block the thread of something you don't have to engage. Buuut I also get what it's like when you look at every second post and thread and feel like blocking them. The sub becomes not such a great place to be at that point.

So, interesting point, but my final straw was a little different. If I had to pinpoint one exact thing then, well, I guess I could but it feeds into larger problems so I'll explain those too. One thing that broke the camel’s back? IIRC, I took a bit of a break at the end of last year and when I checked the sub again I saw what was not the first but not even the third or fifth post that basically boiled down to “Santana deserved to eb outed/Finn wasn’t THAT wrong” or something of the sort. I cannot emphasize enough that I firmly believe this is the single worst Glee take to have and I genuinely have no interest in talking to anyone who holds that view. At best they’re incredibly ignorant. And I got tired, you know? And this is where I started to see this was part of a larger problem, because like I said this was far from the first time I had to see that with my own two eyes. That is the nature of a forum and I used to appreciate that, the discussion, the engagement. But it’s different from a platform like tumblr where you can curate your own experience.

The joke goes, fandom is you and the five people you haven’t yet blocked. And though that’s obvious hyperbole, the older I get the more I vibe with it. I got tired of so many users on the sub and started blocking more and more. Not for sharing opinions, no, but for their behaviours and style. It got incredibly repetitive, which, makes sense for a fandom that’s so old and inactive. But I feel like there’s so much to explore when it comes to Glee and fewer and fewer of those convoc were happening on there. That’s a big thing, no actual convos anymore. Just those elimination games, oh god. And not to be a hypocrite because I myself conducted one but that was what made me realize how they’re no substitute for things I actually enjoy about fandom. It wasn’t a great experience organizing the Solos Showdown, tbh, and that came down to users. Not to shit on all of the sub because there were and am sure are wonderful peeps on there. I miss quite a few of them. But on a platform like Reddit, on a forum, you have to deal with it all and I just didn’t want to anymore.

Another thing is that I had been wanting to take a break from the sub for a long while before I actually did but I felt stuck with it if I wanted to be part of the Glee fandom. There was a period of time I really, really enjoyed on there but it was relatively brief and after that I just stuck around because, for some reason that is now beyond me, I thought Gleek tumblr was all but dead. It’s the great luck of things that just as I finally started withdrawing from the sub because the overall bad vibes were too much that I magically found Glee tumblr. I had been following a handful of people but, seemingly all of a sudden, in December 2021 it was like something clicked. I still don’t know why to this day but I just, started getting asked about Glee. And started a wonderful opportunity to be able to talk about Glee in a different way with different people and start putting thoughts together more cohesively. I also got back into giffing (hugely thanks to @sohoseance‘s Paintbox project, shoutout 💖) which is so unique to tumblr and was another reason to become more active on here.

Once I was active with Glee things on tumblr, it was over for the sub. Why stay on there and constantly roll my eyes when I can just chill here, curate my fandom experience, hang with the two dozen or so people I know won’t have outrageous and blood-boiling things to say? Opinions can differ and I have much love for mutuals with different faves but they won’t be regurgitating the same old shit. I’ve always been a tumblr fandom girlie ant the sub just feels like a detour I briefly took in 2021. Now, don’t get me wrong, I am grateful for a lot of things. The sub basically saved my sanity in 2021 and there were wonderful users on there, some of whom I now call friends. I did my singing statistics series on there, which I for some reason still hesitate to migrate onto tumblr. I liked the forum aspect of reddit for a brief while there and I liked some discussions. But it’s ultimately a different platform and one that I don’t think is sustainable for how fandoms, for me personally.

I’m sure the answer is in there somewhere, but TL;DR the final straw was realizing that I’d always have to deal with shit on the sub and the good wasn’t outweighing the bad anymore, not nearly. And because I found a community on here, I no longer felt like the sub was my only option for fandom needs.

세븐틴 (SEVENTEEN)

Stop, before you proceed reading, open a new tab and search for Seventeen. Now, what did you see? Did you see a simple number? Or Did you know the magazine or the exceptional group I was about to tell you about? “Seventeen” before its just a number to me, but then when the year 2016 came, it turned out to be the most beautiful thing that came into my life. Korean pop is not new to me because of the songs Nobody by Wonder Girls and Gangnam Style by Psy. As a kid, I used to hear it thousand times, and in school, we use these songs for our convocation day. 2015 - the year BTS, EXO, GIRLS GENERATIONS, and more influenced my friends.

Fast forward to the year I became crazy, but I genuinely felt happy. I learn to know Seventeen; they are composed of 13 members with 2 American and 2 Chinese members. They are called Seventeen because they are half into three subunits: the Hip Hop Team, Vocal Team, and Performance Team, to add all 13 members + 3 dub units + 1 whole group = Seventeen. They are initially 17 members before they debuted, but unfortunately, 4 of them did not debut. One of them is Kim Samuel; his mom did not allow him to debut because he was still very young.

The Hip Hop Team is composed of 4 members, who are the rappers of the group. S.Coups (Choi Seungcheol) is the Hip Hop team leader, and SEVENTEEN. Second is Jeon Wonwoo, who ranked 72nd in the Most Handsome Faces 2017. The third is Kim Mingyu, the tallest member in Seventeen and has been an MC in music shows and had been guests in different Korean shows. Lastly, Vernon (Choi Hansol) is one of the group’s Korean American member and second to the youngest.

The vocal team has five members who are the group’s vocalist. The first member is Yoon Jeonghan, the subunit’s oldest member. In 2015, he had long hair that made him look like a girl, and many people were fooled by it. Later on, Jeonghan said that he would never grow his hair that long again. The second member is the reason why I met seventeen. He was born in Los Angeles, California, and a Korean American. He is fluent in English and has an incredibly soothing voice, which I love about him the most; plus, he is outstanding at playing guitar. He is no other than Joshua Hong, and in Korea, his name is Hong Jisoo. The next member is the subunit leader and the smallest member in the group, and the man behind every song that seventeen has. He composes their group songs and even soundtracks of other Korean Dramas. He may be small but has the most potent voice; He is Woozi (Lee Jihoon). Next is DK or Deokyeom (Lee Seokmin), the funniest member, but his high notes are not joking. He is very caring and soft, which everyone loves about him. Lastly, Seungkwan (Boo Seungkwan) won an award for being a good entertainer in various shows. His vocals are also incredible that made him sing Korean dramas official soundtracks.

Lastly, the Performance Team is the dancers of the team. The first member is Hoshi (Kwon Soonyoung), the leader of the subunit. He is one of the people behind the stunning choreography of the group. Seventeen became famous because of their routines and unbelievable synchronization even though they have 13 members. Jun (Moon Junhui) is Chinese and has exceptional visuals. He may be a dancer, but his vocals are terrific. Next is The 8 (Xu Minghao) is also Chinese and in charge of b-boying. He is good at art and has an extraordinary taste in fashion. Lastly, the maknae (youngest) of the group is Dino (Lee Chan). He learned dancing since he was still young, and he choreographs two of their group songs. Isn’t they are all talented.

Seventeen became my source of happiness. Some may think I am exaggerated, but no. Seventeen were my company through my ups and downs. Their songs comforted me a lot and motivated me to keep going. I can say that I am a successful Carat (Seventeen fandom name) because my family is supportive of me, and I have seen them perform live once. September 29, 2018, the night I won’t forget, I witness them sing, dance and talk in person. What makes that night extra special is because my mom is with me. We watched the concert together even though she is not a fan, but she would join me after that night in singing seventeen songs.  I could say that it was really the BEST NIGHT EVER!

as for my ocs (hallura doesn’t count i refuse to count her here LOL) i actually am quite proud of the ascian oc, poseidon, that my best friend and i worked on together through shadowbringers. (SPOILERS!!!!) poseidon is a “more whole than most” ascian, and sister to hades. she was in love with the 14th member of the convocation (tyche, hallura’s predecessor), and because of tyche’s sacrifice at the sundering, poseidon retained her memories and powers, but would never be the full ascian that hades was. poseidon was initially born as a joke because my friend sookie has it out for hydaelyn and we all called her an ascian….and then ascian confirmed happened so we rolled with it LOL

pets: a doggo! her name is popohau (snowball in hawaiian!) and she’s the love of my life. i’d never had a pet before her, and i honestly couldn’t have asked for a better first pet because she’s the sweetest thing i’ve ever known.

1.      Un projet personnel et professionnel

Je m’appelle Olivier, j’ai 22 ans et ai grandis à Madagascar où j’ai effectué l’ensemble de ma scolarité. En 2017 après l’obtention de mon bac Sciences et Techniques du Management et de la Gestion (STMG), spécialité mercatique, option natation-musculation, je suis venu en France pour étudier. J’ai été accepté au lycée Jean Aicard à Hyères dans la section BTS MUC, dont j’ai obtenu le diplôme 2 ans plus tard, en 2019. Durant ces deux premières années d’études j’ai effectué 13 semaines de stages, étalées sur la durée de ma formation et 2 mois consécutifs entre les deux années. J’ai pour cela postulé à Promocash, filiale du groupe Carrefour, spécialisée dans la restauration hors foyer, les métiers de bouche où j’ai été recruté et travaillé en tant qu’assistant commercial et touché un petit peu à la préparation de commandes.

En ce qui concerne mes qualités, je dirais que je suis patient, calme et toujours prêt à aider, les points que je verrais à améliorer seraient, ma prise de parole, être un peu moins réservé et j’aimerais également améliorer ma culture générale. Mes valeurs sont les suivantes : le respect, la patience et la loyauté.

Du côté de mes centres d’intérêt il y a l’histoire, la natation et musculation, la lecture, le monde fantastique et un peu les sciences. Ce qui me motive est la continuité de l’entreprise familiale agroalimentaire ayant débuté à Madagascar avec mon grand-père, et ce pays lui-même qui me tient à cœur.

2.      Que savais-je faire avant d’intégrer le programme ?

Avant ma formation j’ai réalisé 13 semaines réparties sur les deux ans de mon BTS MUC dont un stage de deux mois en fin de première année.

D.     Projets menés en dehors de ma formation

Je n’ai pas vraiment mené de projets en dehors de ma formation, venant de l’étranger j’utilise une bonne partie de mon temps libre pour prendre des nouvelles d’amis de Madagascar ou pour aller les voir. J’ai tout de même réalisé des projets avant mon arrivée en France qui étaient les compétitions de natation au sein de mon lycée, auxquelles j’ai participé.

3.      Ma formation actuelle

A.     Les objectifs de ma formation

Les objectifs de ma formation sont d’améliorer mes connaissances actuelles et d’en acquérir de nouvelles. Mon objectif est d’utiliser ces connaissances et compétences afin de diriger au mieux l’entreprise familiale que je souhaite reprendre et assurer sa pérennité.

 Les compétences sur lesquelles je souhaite réellement progresser sont :

·         La comptabilité car dans le pays où je compte m’installer il est difficile de déléguer et il faut toujours revérifier ce qui est fait, il faut toucher un petit peu à tout et la comptabilité est quelque chose d’important dans l’entreprise. Je pense qu’il faut juste que je m’y mette sérieusement et que pratique.

·         La prise de décision, j’ai tendance à m’adapter à ce qu’il se passe ou à ce que les autres décident, je dois donc apprendre à prendre une décision sinon au moins donner mon avis. Je vais tout simplement me lancer, même si ce sont des décisions anodines ou du quotidien.

 Parmi les objectifs que je m’étais fixés en rentrant à l’ESC Clermont, quels sont ceux qui sont :

La maîtrise de certaines compétences, je pense  surtout à la comptabilité.

Pour ce qui est de l’oral, je pense que ce qui me  bloque surtout c’est l’improvisation ou le fait de passer un oral/jouer, par  exemple en négociation on nous a fait vivre une situation de vente en tant  que vendeur ou acheteur et il fallait mener l’entretient, cela me bloque  alors qu’en entreprise ce n’est pas le cas car mon sujet est préparé et je  sais pourquoi je vais vers le client. Ce n’est pas vide de sens comme une  mise en scène.

 C.      Mes compétences (MGE1, MGE2, Césure)

Au début de ma formation j’avais déjà bien étudié le marketing, la vente, le droit, un petit peu le management, grâce à mon parcours. J’avais donc déjà des compétences dans ces domaines-là.

À la fin de ma première année, je peux dire que mes compétences en management se sont améliorées grâce aux cours de RH, domaine que je n’avais encore jamais étudié. La compta même si je ne la maîtrise pas encore tout à fait est une compétence que je souhaitais développer en arrivant à l’école. Les cours de négociations m’ont permis d’affiner ce que j’ai appris en vente durant mon BTS notamment au niveau de l’analyse de son interlocuteur et les différentes étapes de la vente.

D.     Expériences professionnelles réalisées pendant le parcours

Mon stage de fin d’année MGE1 de 3 mois : J’ai réalisé mon stage chez « C’est qui le Patron ?! ». Cette entreprise de l’agroalimentaire a vu le jour en 2017. Nicolas CHABANE son fondateur en a eu l’idée, suite à la polémique de la rémunération des producteurs de lait. En discutant avec ceux-ci il s’est rendu compte qu’il ne fallait que 4 centimes supplémentaire par litre de lait pour que l’éleveur vive de son métier. Nicolas a donc rassemblé une équipe et a créé « C’est qui le patron ?! », le but est de rémunérer au juste prix les producteurs et redonner du pouvoir aux consommateurs sur leur achats. Cela a donc commencé avec le lait, l’équipe a créé un questionnaire avec les éléments du cahier des charges à faire voter par les consommateurs via le site internet. Aujourd’hui 172.9 millions de litres de lait ont été vendus et 16.2 millions de personnes, soit près d’un quart de la population française, consomment les produits CQLP qui sont aujourd’hui au nombre de 28, dont un doit arriver prochainement en rayon et 6 autres sont à l’étude. Tout cela sans commerciaux ni publicité.

Je travaillais donc dans la communication tout en aidant, au niveau commercial et logistique.

Voici les tâches que j’ai pu réaliser au cours de mon stage :

Communication :

·         Création de publications destinées aux réseaux sociaux.

·         Réponse aux consommateurs et producteurs via le formulaire de contact du site internet.

·         Sous-titrage des vidéos à mettre en ligne, les sous-titres YouTube n’étant pas fiables.

·         J’ai également procédé à du phoning auprès de sociétaires (les sociétaires sont des consommateurs) qui ne recevaient pas nos mails, cela posait un problème car nous devions leur envoyer la convocation à l’assemblée générale annuelle.

Commercial :

·         Étude de marché sur les pâtes, le produit étant en difficulté. Je me suis donc rendu dans différentes grandes surfaces pour récupérer des photos et informations sur le prix, la marque, les label, l’origine du blé, la méthode de fabrication. Après avoir mis cela sous un document Excel et après analyse j’ai pu donner mes résultats à l’équipe produit qui a pris le relais et mené sa propre enquête, en plus de ce que j’avais déjà fournis.

·         Compilation des « lettres directeur », les consommateurs peuvent demander le référencement des produits dans les grandes surfaces, nous les compilons, faisons un bilan de la demande et envoyons cela aux supermarchés.

·         J’ai également préparé les commandes et organisé les produits que nous avions reçu exceptionnellement aux bureaux pour une livraison groupée.

Logistique :

·         Écoulement d’un surplus de produits dont la DLC arrivait à échéance, chez le logisticien SKIPPER par le quel nous passons pour les livraisons groupées. Après un point des produits les plus urgents à écouler grâce à une extraction du stock chez SKIPPER j’organisait l’enlèvement des produits par la Banque Alimentaire à laquelle nous en faisions don de ces produits.

 L’ambiance dans l’entreprise était très décontractée, mais à la fois sérieuse, pour ce qui est de l’avancement du travail à faire. La hiérarchie est horizontale. Même si la communication n’était pas ce qui m’intéressait le plus, leur façon de communiquer est intéressante, elle est « artisanale », beaucoup d’émojis sont utilisés dans les publications et réponses aux consommateurs, de plus ils utilisent souvent la formule « nous les consommateurs », en s’incluant dans ces derniers elle se rapproche des clients.

L’étude de marché m’a permis de découvrir plus en profondeur le marché des pâtes et certains codes comme l’utilisation de la couleur bleue, que la plupart des marques appliquent sur leurs emballages ainsi que le rouge. De plus c’était la première étude de marché que je faisais pour un produit.

Enfin la logistique m’a beaucoup intéressé, car c’est un élément important pour une entreprise alimentaire, et qui doit être totalement maitrisé. Surtout que les livraisons groupées n’ont vu le jour que récemment dans l’entreprise suite au partenariat avec la start up Welco, permettant de grouper les livraisons ce qui réduit l’impact carbone, en comparant avec une livraison par personne, cela permet aussi aux commerces locaux de se faire connaitre, un petit producteur, un bar, une épicerie de village peut se signaler en tant que point relais CQLP ce qui amène les gens à connaître ces commerces.

4.      Quel métier vis-je ?

A.     Mes futurs métiers

Comme dis plus haut, je souhaite reprendre la direction de l’entreprise familiale à Madagascar sur le marché de l’agroalimentaire. Cependant je ne sais pas encore si je resterai un peu en France, après ma formation, pour travailler dans autre chose avant de retourner à Madagascar.

C.      Mon plan pour atteindre mon objectif professionnel

1.Acquérir et affiner mes connaissances du commerce,  gestion, management, marketing afin d’avoir tous les outils en main pour  reprendre l’entreprise.

2.Acquérir de l’expérience grâce aux stages de fins  d’année. Peut-être un emploi temporaire à la fin du cursus.

3.Rentrer à Madagascar et commencer à travailler dans  l’entreprise familiale en passant par l’ensemble des postes (vente, usine  etc.).

CMR University 4th Annual Convocation 

CMR University conducted its 4th Annual Convocation for the students graduating in the year 2019 at the CMR University, Kundalahalli Campus (CMRIT), Bangalore on Sunday, 3rd November 2019. Dr. C.N. Ashwath Narayan, Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka, Minister for Higher Education, IT and BT & Science and Technology & The Pro Visitor, CMR University presided over the event and conferred the degrees. Speaking on the occasion, the minister said commended the University for having successful come so far in so short a period of time

Update: Life

Last year, amidst convocation season, Juni asked to pray for her miracle (ask her if you wanna know what it is 🤫). I told her to pray for mine.

At the time, I was waiting for a confirmation on a really important job post. I went on 2 separate interviews, followed up, called every few days, and even sent an email but to no avail. No reply whatsoever. Hence the very very need for a miracle.

I still haven’t received a reply from them. And at that moment, I thought that I had lost that miracle.

With a heavy heart, I reevaluated my life plans and goals. And whilst crying under the rain, then at 7-Eleven opposite KTM Serdang station (Faz and Ika can vouch for this lol), waiting for the 540 Bus to go home, I made the painful decision to stop pursuing my postgraduate studies, move back home in Johor Bahru, and focus on finding a job and building a career of whatever skills and talent that I had developed over the year at SOLS 24/7.

I was completely lost and confused and other than the painful scar it left on my heart, my phone took a toll too as it dropped on the way and the screen cracked 😂

I could really really use that miracle now, I kept praying.

As the months go by once I’ve moved back home, I began to rebuild myself. I began a routine of praying dhuha every day, I talked it all out to friends, I journalled everything, everyday. I was putting my self back together.

I then got a job working at a Korean Winter Program, I GOT TO SEE BTS, travelled with new friends, saw my friends get married, even secured myself a stable job, and most importantly, met (or discovered) my forever people.

People who will be there to validate my feelings when I’m upset, to listen to what I have to say and not tell me that I’m being too much, to actually have an opinion on my random outbursts, and to share my joy and wonder at whatever brain fart that I would have at such untimely of times.

We don’t always see eye to eye, we don’t agree with each other 100%, nor do we share the same opinions on everything, but at least I know that with them, I could have an opinion without being judged.

I thought the miracle that I wanted was in a job that I had wanted ever so badly in the hustle and bustle of Kuala Lumpur. But what I got in return is to realize that my dreams are never too big, my plans are never too ambitious, and my opinions are never too loud.

I may be a looooong way before I achieve any of it, but I’m glad to know that my forever people will always cheer me on. And that is all the miracle that I’ll ever need ❤️

HI ANGELS!!! ✨✨✨✨✨ how is everyone doing??? I hope you all had an amazing day/night/morning!! i’m gonna update ya’ll on how today went but ima use ‘keep reading’ bc I dont want to spam ya’ll too much lol 😂

I’m going to use bullet points bc I feel like I’ll go on a tangent if I don’t... so:

my roommates and I started the day with a transfer student BBQ get together thing?? where we met a bunch of people (but idk if we’re actually going to be ‘friends’ if that makes sense lol) and I networked with two organizations that seem super cool and I’m going to look into how to join them!!

then we went to our convocation and it was super emotional because it’s going to be US ON THAT STAGE GETTING OUR DIPLOMAS IN TWO YEARS HOLY SHIT????

afterwards we went downtown to go pick up our cute lil bikes and i swear the roomies and I make up the powerpuff girls bc i got a peach bike (blossom), one got a turquoise (buttercup) and one got a custard color (let’s pretend bubbles is yellow and not blue lol) 😂😂😂 I have to go back tmr though bc I want to add a basket to it!

we came home after to make dinner (actually it was me who cooked again surprisingly???) and then attended a mandatory apt meeting where all of us living in the building met each other and went thru rules and stuff

then fINALLY we went back to campus to go to a dance/social/event thing but it was mostly freshmen so we dipped early lmao 

SO YEAH it’s been a super eventful day!!! I”m exhausted and horribly sunburnt lol but I’m going to go fold my laundry and catch up on bts news bc I think the only times I’ll be able to actually sit down and reblog stuff is when i wake up/before I sleep sjdfjflakjfalfjdsakf but I guess that’s better than nothing!! I just wish the app was better so I could be more active from my phone??

ANYWAYS!! that was essentially today!! I’m going to try cleaning up my side of the room bc it’s still half unboxed stuff and it’s irritating me lmao

-Fonction :

A) -Visite des chantiers de construction de TANA et de sa périphérie pour proposer les produits et les services de PROMA -Rédaction de rapports de visite -Etablissement de devis pour les chantiers visités -Suivi des dossiers des chantiers visités et offres envoyées (relances téléphoniques ou nouvelles visites)

B) -Réception des clients au bureau du Service Commercial et établissement de devis -Etablissements des factures

D) -Conseils techniques aux clients de PROMA Tana

E) -Appui technique au centre de PROMA Trade Tower

F) -Interlocuteur technique de PROMA Tve (recherche de fournisseurs de pièces de rechange ou de consommables, recherche d’atelier de fabrication ou de réparation de pièces de l’usine……)

II-Profil : -Titulaire d’un BTS en Génie Mécanique ou Electromécanique (St Michel ou IST,……) -Titulaire d’un Bac Technique (OM ou MF, FM) -Bon niveau oral et écrit en Français -Bonne communication -Maitrise de l’outil informatique : Word, Excel, Autocad,….. -Expérience professionnelle comme technicien en constructions métalliques ou commercial sera un atout.

III-Qualités Personnelles : -Dynamique, enthousiaste, créatif (ve), réactif (ve), organisé (e), rigoureux (se), autonome, intègre, grande capacité de travail, disponible, aptitude à travailler en équipe
