#thranduil#the hobbit#lotr#myart#i wanna start drawing him consistently for all of these doodles anyways#i hope his emotional state/proximity to elrond will be apparent by how ornate or stripped down his clothes and jewelry are :)#he wears dark warm colors and greens elrond wears cooler colors and occasional red and copper their tailoring is to personal taste#i like that rivendell elves have really elegant lines in their clothes it makes sense w the art nouveau architecture#i think thranduil dresses p singularly tho i think his tailoring and color choices are all of his own (dramatic)#ugh wish these geezers would hurry up and court each other so i can draw elrond wearing a flower crown in the greenwood

like pitfall i bought for fodder price and i think shes got very cute colors. she came like this
and i put riopa on her now so shes currently the left pic but im planning on putting jaguar as her primary. which is not the biggest project in the world i guess but its one of my starter ones and also i got her for 5 gems.
#i couldnt find a tertiary that i felt like added to anything i could do with her instead of distracting#but i also in general think i prefer more stripped back gene combos and xxx/xxy dragons most of the time#and i think the thing a lot of people do where they just like... Need to put all 3 genes on a dragon even if they dont mesh because more#genes is better ends up making a lot of really ugly dragons who could look better if there was less going on...#also theres no dragons on the market with her color combo period. shes the only one ive been able to find#which is a shame because i think copper + coal has a lot of potential to look pretty good on a dragon if you utilize it right#personal
