KİBLEBULMA - DEVASA+ (3)
Tumblr media
Qibla direction holds a significant place in the Islamic faith, symbolizing the direction towards the Kaaba in the Sacred Mosque in Mecca, which is a focal point for Muslims around the world. The term "qibla" itself translates to 'direction' in Arabic, signifying the spiritual orientation that Muslims adopt during their prayers. To assist individuals in determining the qibla direction, various tools and methods have been developed, ranging from traditional compasses to modern technological solutions. One such method involves aligning a real compass with the direction of North to establish the correct qibla direction. Additionally, advancements in technology have led to the creation of Qibla finder apps and online platforms that offer accurate qibla direction information with just a few clicks.
The availability of tools like Qibla finder apps and online platforms has made it easier for Muslims to find the qibla direction with precision and convenience. These applications utilize GPS technology to determine the user's current location and provide the corresponding qibla direction, allowing individuals to perform their prayers with accuracy regardless of where they are in the world. Moreover, online Qibla Finders offer comprehensive databases that include the qibla angles of important cities and centers worldwide, enabling users to access this vital information swiftly and efficiently. By embracing these technological advancements, Muslims can fulfill their religious obligations with confidence and peace of mind, knowing they are facing the sacred Kaaba during their prayers.
Identifying the correct qibla direction is of utmost importance for Muslims when performing their daily prayers. The qibla finder as a focal point that unites Muslims globally in worship, emphasizing the unity and solidarity within the Islamic community. Ensuring that one faces the qibla during prayer is not only a physical alignment but also a symbolic connection to the center of the Islamic faith, fostering a sense of spiritual connection and devotion. By correctly identifying the qibla direction, individuals uphold a fundamental aspect of their faith and demonstrate reverence and obedience to Allah, enhancing the spiritual significance and efficacy of their prayers.

(same anon asking about letters to artyom btw) I heard that Nikita is a sensitive subject to him so I don't think he would reply to anything regarding him. Also I think the reason he hasn't been responding to letters is because 1: they're not getting to him because of the censorship or 2: he just takes too long to respond. I heard someone sent him a letter in July or August and got a reply back in December so it takes a looong time to send the message. Or maybe he's just busy idk. Doesn't it take money to send messages (also from the prisoner) too?
Yeah, I'm not surprised. I've only seen one letter from Artyom mentioning Nikita, and it's an old one. Of course I can't know what's in every single letter, lol, but I can totally see him not wanting to talk about him. I wonder EXACTLY why. I have a few versions, but whatever. 😒 Yeah, someone wrote a letter in the end of May (2024) and got a reply in the beginning of August. Someone else said that they received a reply in 2 months (2023 or earlier). Another person said: "I wrote to him in July, and he received the letter in 2-3 days, and I think the reply took 20 days." This is the info from the official site of that app: "The time to receive a response to your email depends on many factors: 1) how quickly the censor delivers your letter to the prisoner; 2) how quickly the prisoner writes the answer and passes it to the censor; 3) how quickly the censor will check the response and scan it to send it to your email. On average, the total delivery time for a response to an email takes 10-12 business days, but it may take longer." As for the money, most likely? Although this thing exists, but it probably isn't meant for random people. "An initiative letter is one that a prisoner has independently initiated to begin correspondence with family and loved ones. The letter of initiative form is provided free of charge by the administration of the correctional institution in which the prisoner is located. The recipient pays for such a letter."

Taxon Genesis Evangelion 1: Angels and Evas, Oh My
Tumblr media
Below the cut: The morphological taxonomicon of Angels and Evangelions; Lilim; and maybe a little something extra for you. All this and more on Taxon Genesis Evangelion!
(If you want to get right to the taxonomizin', skip ahead to the big bold ANGELS header.) The beings known as the Angels present a remarkable challenge to the taxonomist. They are comparatively straightforward to actually categorize on morphological grounds - several families being readily discernible - but are metaphysically provocative. Where the Messenger's Earths present an extremely close divergence from the Mainline Anthropic Cluster of worlds in most respects, they differ strongly on two key points:
The origins of human life;
The function and purpose of the human soul.
The Angels sit at the nexus of these two divergences. The Angel, if local accounts are correct, is essentially a human being that has undergone extreme morphological divergence based on the expression of a distinct pattern in its soul. This divergence is made all the more stark by the existence of multiple overlapping-but-distinct Messenger's Earths, constituting their own parallel Anthropic Cluster of universes tentatively designated as the 'Anno Cluster'.
This is well and good, but where does it leave us taxonomically? The Temple is divided, but tentatively advances the following schema from a strictly morphological perspective:
Tumblr media
FIGURE 1: An initial sketch towards a morphological taxa of Seed-derived Life.
All members of this phylum constitute what is locally called a 'Human', though the Temple does not endorse this usage. We instead suggest the use of 'Person', which appears to us to clarify the issue significantly - the Human being referred to the local equivalent of Homo sapiens, while the Person constituting both this species and its many cousins. However, even this convenience can take us only so far, as the persons referred to as Angels are reportedly '99.89%' similar to humans on a genetic level, rendering them no different genetically from a given human than a given homo sapiens is to another homo sapiens.
This, however, is further complicated by the origins of human life within the Anno Cluster's Messenger's Earths - that is, they are panspermic products with an ambiguous relationship to the rest of their biospheres. It is not, at the time of writing, clear whether all Earthly life in the Anno Cluster shares descent from the being known as Lilith, and the Temple tentatively endorses the position that they do not, and that only humans do.
This being the case, it is clear that the local equivalent of Homo sapiens is not quite a conventional example of Homo sapiens. From this specimen we will begin our taxonomy.
LILIM HUMANS
Tumblr media
FIGURE 2: Three typical Lilim Humans, the anthropoform inhabitants of the Messenger's Earths of the Anno Cluster. Observe the identical appearance to mainline Homo sapiens, which conceals a radically different evolutionary history.
The Lilim Human is, phenotypically and morphologically, identical to Homo sapiens. This is a case of the common convergent meta-clade of beings called, across universes, 'Humans'. It is a well known principle of universe exploration that along the anthropophilic curve, humans of some variety are a near certainty in every universe, though their precise origins varies. Most, but not all, are Sol-Terranidae - that is, the locational miridomain of [Carbonae] specific to the world(s) of Earth - and have little, if anything, to distinguish them on a purely biological basis from one another.
Given this, we now introduce the mythotaxon utilized for the base, mainline, prolific human: metanthropos generica humanitas. We have previously introduced this elsewhere, in the Taxonomy of the Homeworlds, but find it still a useful category. The corresponding niche taxa is Homo sapiens protagonum.
These two taxa are shared with the vast majority of humans across the Anthropic Cluster worlds. The specific taxa of the Lilim Human, however, is distinct. We observe that they are the direct product of panspermic interference in Earthly life, introduced by Lilith and gifted the Fruit of Knowledge. This origin bears certain cognates in traditional Earthling mythologies and their reflections in other Universes, but it will in turn bear consideration on this first of the 'two fruits' of the Anno Cluster before we formally taxonomize the Lilim Human.
The first fruit, the Fruit of Knowledge, conveys upon the human being the ability to produce itself ad infinitum and, consequently, to know oneself through the eyes of others. This knowledge-of-the-self produces a fixed phenotypical expression and self-awareness along the norms of the reflected metanthropos generica humanitas, including normal cognition - barring a certain innate suicidal tendency in the inevitability of Lilim Humans seeking species-level extinction as part of its drive towards the future, though this has also been suggested as a standard feature of all human kinds (see Spielrein, 'Die Destruktion als Ursache des Werdens', 1912) - and tool use.
We also observe that the existence of the Human Soul is uncontroversial within the Messenger's Earth as a physical reality. This, then, presents a second divergence point from common mainline m.g. humanitas, for whom the existence of the soul is rarely a physical reality even where it is possessed as a spiritual self. The soul is, allegedly, the source of that which produces the barrier between selves and enables the creation of the self's form. No non-Person has been observed to possess a soul in these universes, and they are, to a degree, transferrable and controllable.
This suggests that the Lilim Human is sufficiently differentiated from the mainline to warrant a distinct mythotaxon, as: metanthropos generica sapiens anima-carnogenesis That is, they are generic humans marked out by their possession of a soul that produces the flesh.
Hierarchically, we consider there to be insufficient evidence to warrant a distinct taxa for the Lilim Human, though we acknowledge that the Lilim Human shares no genetic ancestry with other members of the genus Homo. To the extent such a taxa is desirable, it is best recorded as phylogenetic rather than strictly hierarchical - the key difference being that the Temple endorses the hierarchical taxa as clade-ambivalent.
ANGELS
Tumblr media
FIGURE 3: A selection of Angels.
The persons known as the Angels are, according to local reports, Human beings who exhibit the many 'alternative' forms that a Human being might possess. We reiterate that the Temple prefers the language of Person to Human for this purpose, as it prevents confusion, though we acknowledge that in the context of the Messenger's Earths the close genetic make up, shared presence of not-incompatible souls, and shared cladistic origins do suggest that 'Human' is not an entirely inappropriate designation for the Angels. However, for the purposes of the Universal Taxonomy, we decline to nominate the Angels as members of the genus Homo.
We do so for two reasons. First, it the morphology of the Angels is wildly divergent from that of their human cousins. While they are nearly identical to any given human genome, the phenotypical expression produced by the nature of their souls - shaped in due turn by the Fruit of Life - is clearly non-human. It is also unclear whether the Angels are capable of reproduction as Lilim Humans are, though the Temple's various factions have largely agreed to waive reproductive viability for the present taxonomization due to the clear morphological patterns within the Angels.
Second, the Angels possess an entirely distinct biology from the Human on a more fundamental level. While they are genetically near identical, they are composed of an alternative form of matter. This, as we understand it, is the product of their receipt of the 'Fruit of Life', which grants the recipient utter self reliance in the form of a removal from the laws of thermodynamics and a source of free energy embedded within what is known as the 'core' of the Angel. They thus bear little functional resemblance to the Lilim Humans with which they are so closely related on a genetic level.
This, then, is the basis for proceeding with treating the Human as distinct from the other Peoples, and taxonomizing the Angels seperately. To that end, we now consider these entities collectively, with specific studies to follow. The Angels are:
Material entities, even where this materiality is comprised of pure energy.
Despite seemingly god-like stature and powers, not of divine nature, but mundane nature.
Alive.
This suggests that all the People, including both Angels and Human, are properly considered to be members of the Vitus and Corporae - that is, they are alive and are corporeal. It is clear that the majority of the Peoples, including most Angels, belong to the Eukaryota and, presumably, the Animalia as complex, multi-cellular life. For convenience's sake, we will nominate the Angels (but not Lilim Humans) as members of a Phase-Wave Phylum, Undamaterialida, though it may equally be suggested that this is best positioned at a higher level below the Corporae but above the Eukarya. But beyond these initial assumptions, a morphological taxonomy appears to be the best approach.
(We might also take the easier approach of assigning a wholly novel superdomain to all Peoples and Angels, but this - though taxonomically simple and not displeasing in its elegance - is something of a lazy tack. If the Angels bore more resemblance to cognate species of demon, angel, and magical being, we would not face this challenge as suitable phyla are already prepared for such specimens.)
Within this morphological study, we can observe certain patterns. First, there is a high order distinction among Peoples between those with clear, discrete and identifiable Cores and those that either lack clear cores or appear to have no core whatsoever.
Tumblr media
FIGURE 4: The 'Core' of an Evangelion.
In the former we may group most of the Angels, and in the latter, Lilim Humans and the pseudo-bacterial Angels. These we will treat as our classes for the Peoples, and we will tentatively nominate the former Koukyuuvasiae and the latter Akoukyuuvasiae.
THE KOUKYUUVASIAE
Within the former, we are confronted with a dizzying array of datapoints. This is the class of Shamshel and Ramiel and Arael - it is highly diverse in morphology, and identifying the most relevant is difficult. Nonetheless, the Pedant nominates bodily plan as being the next stage. Those Koukyuuvasiae that manifest a hominid-esque bodily plan (and thus, most closely resemble their precursor Seeds of Life, on which we will touch soon) constitute an Order, as do those with a pseudo-arthropodic form and those with what we nominate as 'weird' forms. These three orders we thus nominate as, in the same order previously mentioned: Adamiformes - 'Shaped like Adam'; Thyreoformes - 'Shaped like Shields'; Abstractoformes - 'Shaped like Abstractions'.
The Adamiformes
Within the Adamiformes, we find two families. The first is capable of moderate morphological transformation, comprising Sachiel, Israfel, and controversially, the Eighth Angel. (It is the Pedant's position that the manifestation of an essentially humanoid body at the heart of the Angel's mass is indicative of membership within the Adamiformes.) The latter is incapable, and consists of two members - Zereul, and one outlier we will return to later.
Tumblr media
FIGURE 5: The Angel known as Zereul.
Zereul should be distinguished from the similar Tenth Angel, which in its version of the Messenger's Earth takes the same mythological niche as Zereul but which is morphologically distinct, as it lacks the legs of Zereul and manifests certain features from the Thyreoformes instead. No such distinction is present between Sachiel and its counterpart, which we take as indicative of a point discussed in the assessment of the Adams and the Seeds.
We nominate these two families thus: Proteadamiformidae - those capable of changing shape; Fixusadamiformidae - those not capable.
The latter consists of a pair of genera, one of which we will revisit. Zereul is the sole species of the genus Annotokuhostilis as A. sardonicabrutalis, presenting our first complete taxa. We further nominate Zereul with the following niche and mythotaxa, which it shares with its counterpart, the Tenth Angel: Gargantua aforitoanankus flagellator Gargantuahostilis pseudotokuvillainus catharsisogenitor
The Proteadamiformidae consists of two genera. The first is another single-species genus, Stellahostilis, with the Eighth Angel as the sole member, S. evangelocadens. S. evangelocadens is given the following niche and mythotaxa, which it again shares with its counterpart, Sahaquiel: Gargantua astrumamoeba oculariforme Gargantuahostilis astrainvadans eschatogenitor
Tumblr media
FIGURE 6: The angel known as Sachiel, L. monohastatus.
The second may be distinguished by its ability - common, but not universal, among Angels - to project energy blasts. An alternative taxonomy might consider this in place of the body plan morphology as the Class-level characteristic, but we believe it may spontaneously re-emerge among Peoples as part of their shared heritage and so constitutes a homoplasious characteristic. This genus consists of Sachiel and Israfel, neither of which require much special analysis. We nominate the genus as Luxohastati and their species, respectively, as L. monohastatus and L. geminohastatus. Both share mythotaxa as Gargantuahostilis pseudotokuvillainus generica, but their niche taxa differ, with Sachiel placed as Gargantua megahominidae autocidus, and Israfel as Gargantua metahominidae synchronita.
Tumblr media
FIGURE 7: A character map of the Adamiformes, with appended species taxa.
The Thyreoformes
The next major grouping are the Thyreoformes - the Shield Angels. This Order is comparatively stable morphologically and consists of four species split across three genera, distinguished into two families, all of which resemble arthropods. The first of these is the Paleothyreoformidae and the second is the Neothyreoformidae. Unlike most of the Angels, the distinction here appears to be reality-based - we observe the Paleothyreformidae in one reality, and the Neothyreoformidae in a new one, with one cross-over taxa that appears in a morphologically distinct subspecies in both.
Within the Paleothyreformidae, there are two monospecies genera.
The first of these hosts Matarael, a four-legged pseudo-arachnid marked by its ability to spit acid from its ventral eye tearducts and its extremely weak AT field. Curiously, Matarael is adorned with many ornamental eyes that closely resemble Sahaqiuel, and while it is currently understood to possess a core, it is possible that this is not the case. We consider this possibility further elsewhere, in the discussion of Seeds. Matarael is nominated as: Acolytaphalangidus vitriolainfirmus With the niche and mythotaxa of: Gargantua opilionis demipoda Gargantuahostilis monstrumaseptimana oblituses
The second is the equally forgettable Sandalphon, characterized by a curious embryonic cycle that feature an early, Adam-resembling state that recedes into a curious arthropodal arrangement on hatching. When we recollect that the Adams appear to maintain an essentially humanoid bodily plan and that it is the nature of an Angel's soul that shapes their appearance, this seems suggestive that all Angels begin as essentially humanoid and then choose their shape - a property that, taken to its logical extent, suggests there is no actual speciation involved. In such a case, all Angels might simply be taxonomized as Annoangelus annoacolytus, but we will continue our morphological taxonomy because it pleases us to do so. We nominate the following taxa for Sandalphon: Infernatolerans anthroapobolus Gargantua pyromagmataincola paleogreebly Gargantuahostilis monstrumaseptimana oblituses, shared with Matarael.
The third genera, and the sole genus of the Neothyreformidae hosts two species, both characterized by a hardened shell-like carapace, weaponized flagella, and a prominent internal rib structure. This genera, the Costanovis, hosts the Tenth Angel, an analogue of Zereul, and the paired subspecies of the Fifth Angel and Shamshel.
Tumblr media
FIGURE 8: The Fifth Angel, C. phallovermis costaexposita.
Shamsel is one of the stranger Angels. This distinctly phallic - and phallic anxiety provoking - entity is characterized by a prominent shelled cephalic segment and an unarmoured body containing the characteristically unusual internal rib structure of the genus. In both cases, these ribs are present - in the Fifth Angel, the ribs are motile and exposed, while in Shamshel they are covered in flesh and static. Both angels utilize energized flagella. They are nominated together as: C. phallovermis, with subspecies costaexposita and costainternus Gargantua phallocorpus Gargantuahostilis monstrumaseptimana castratiometis
The Tenth Angel is easily confused with Zereul, its cognate expression. Both are skull-faced, seemingly intelligent (and malicious) beings that share razor-sharp flagella and a general bodily shape. However, they differ in the absence of legs from the Tenth Angel, distinct colouration, and a highly divergent internal arrangement of the Tenth Angel, which unlike Zereul, is capable of 'unfolding' itself to expose an internal rib cage and an extendible digestive system and jaw structure. The Tenth Angel is a more robust and, in many respects, considerably more horrific counterpart speciment to Zereul. We nominate it as: C. evangelophagus With niche and mythotaxa shared with Zereul as: Gargantua aforitoanankus flagellator Gargantuahostilis pseudotokuvillainus catharsisogenitor
Tumblr media
FIGURE 9: Character mapping of the Thyreoformes.
The Abstractoformes
Moving back from the Thyreoformes, two categories remain among the Core-bearing Peoples. The largest are the Abstractoformes, or those Angels with forms best considered abstract in nature. The smaller is a single species order - though we suspect that the 'Third Angel' most likely shared an original morphology with it - of pseudo-Cetacean, and we will briefly dispense with it.
This single species order, the Acolytacetaceaformes, consists also of a single known family, the Acolytacetaceaformidae, and its type species, Gaghiel, is nominated as: Nataramawus dentata Gargantua pesudocetacea anno Gargantuahostilis monstrumaseptimana dentatacetus
Perhaps the most interesting feature of N. dentata is the presence of the ubiquitous 'skull face' on its dorsal surface. This feature is shared with Sachiel, the Ninth Angel, Zereul and the Tenth Angel, the Seventh Angel, and in highly modified form, the first form of Israfel, but is otherwise absent among the Angels. If this feature is not homoplasious - like the energy weapons common to Angels and present among all but one of the skull-bearers - it may indicate that these Angels constitute a distinct morphological family within the Koukyuuvasiae, and as we will explore in the section on Seeds, potentially a distinct Adamic lineage.
The last remaining category of Koukyuuvasiae are the Abstractoformes. Within this Order, we may identify two families, each consisting of a pair of so-far singular genera a single species each. They are the Astroincolidae, or star-dwellers, and the Energetoiactidae, or energy-throwers. The former consists of the Angels known as Arael and Sahaquiel, and the latter, Ramiel and the Seventh Angel.
The core of Arael is somewhat ambiguous, and it has been suggested they should instead be placed among the coreless Angels. Such a reorganization would suggest a closer association with the Angels Leliel and Armisael, as all three are known to possess a level of intelligent interest in human minds. However, there is evidence of a strongly organized core within Arael and so at the present time we decline to do so. It is the sole specimen of the genus Psycheraptor, and is nominated as: P. pravidoaviluxa Gargantua astrumaves lumenoaves Gargantuahostilis astrainvadans traumataregenarares Arael may also be better classified as belonging to the Energy Beings superdomain, but this is so far unproven.
Tumblr media
FIGURE 10: The Angel Sahaquiel, or O. autoprecipitaro.
Its sibling, Sahaquiel, is quite unlike Arael. It possesses a body of definite matter rather than of light, and lacks the intelligent interest in human minds known of Arael and co. It instead seems to be a rather curious 'giant eye' that seeks death, sharing in its patterning with Matarael and the Eighth Angel. We nominate it as: Oculudeioanno autoprecipitaro And its niche and mythotaxa, shared with the Eighth Angel, as: Gargantua astrumamoeba oculariforme Gargantuahostilis astrainvadans eschatogenitor
The second family, the Energetoiactidae, is most synonymous with Ramiel, whose counterpart Sixth Angel is not meaningfully distinguishable, suggesting a point of common morphological priority between Adams. Ramiel is best understood as a form of hyper-energetic polyhedral life, characterized by an extremely high intensity AT field. It has been suggested, though it remains unproven, that the sheer force of this AT field is responsible for the Angel's primary octahedral form, creating it as a sort of physical incarnation of the platonic solid of the same shape. Such a model would identify Ramiel with Mercury, and in its secondary forms and their rapid transformation, this appears satisfactory. We nominate the following taxa accordingly: Apostoloplatoniformum mercurohedron Abstractiformes platoniforms octohedrones laserus Gargantuahostilis octusalea empathogenitrix
Tumblr media
FIGURE 11: The Seventh Angel, commonly known as 'Clockiel'. Observe the absence of anything resembling a conventional body plan and the curiously industrial appearance of this Angel. The Core is concealed in the large pendulum.
The other member, the Seventh Angel, is rather more difficult to parse morphologically. The closest analogue seems to us to be the stick insects, but even this is a far cry. All that we may say confidently of the Seventh Angel is that it possesses a core, energetic weaponry, and the characteristic 'skull face' of certain Angel lines. It appears to consist of loosely assembled skeletal tetrahedral segments, and but for the strongly demarcated core, might otherwise be better placed among the communal morphologies. Faced with such a bizarre entity, we nonetheless offer a tentative taxonomy as: Horaeacolytus mendaxocephalus Gargantua mekanikavitus fauxclockusfacus Gargantuahostilis monstrumaseptimana horaemookus
The Abstractoformes clade is, perhaps, best recognized as a convenience. We are entirely prepared to accept that it ought to be split further, but have refrained from doing so due to the risk of taxonomic inflation.
Tumblr media
FIGURE 12: The Abstractoformes clade of Angel morphology, with special guest Gaghiel. Note the absence of unifying characteristics.
Two more specimens bear consideration before we move on to the Coreless Class of Angels - the Third and Twelfth Angels. Very little is known of these Angels, save that they bear a core. The Third bore a skeleton at one point and retains energetic weaponry, while the Twelfth may be a collective entity or may simply have been altered by an aborted Instrumentality. In both cases, lacking in sufficient information, we can offer no taxa.
THE AKOUKYUUVASIAE
We turn now to the other major category of Angel, the Akoukyuuvasiae, or the Angels that do not host cores. This subgroup of Angels presents certain analytical challenges not present among the other Angels. First, lacking in a Core, can they be meaningfuly said to be of the same category of life as their counterparts? Second, do they stem from the same source?
We can offer only a partial answer to these questions. On the first, they are treated as the same by the local People, which we defer to as a matter of informational privilege of local traditions in the face of ambiguity. On the second, we conjecture that they do, but not necessarily in the manner usually assumed. See the discussion later of the Seeds for more detail.
These caveats aside, we may divide the coreless into two Orders - the Lilithiformes, comprising Lilim Humans and two special specimens, and the Acolytanoviformes, or 'Acolytes of Novel Form'. We have previously discussed the Lilim and will not repeat ourselves here, and so turn immediately to the Acolytanoviformes. Within this Order, we find two Families:
The pseudo-prokaryotes, consisting of Bardiel and sister species, the Ninth Angel, and Ireul, which we nominate as Acolytanovaprokaryotidae;
The amorphous and energy-based Angels Leliel and Armisael, whose Family we nominate as Evangeloamorphidae.
Among the Acolytanovaprokaryotidae, we may distinguish between two genera. The first is that of Bardiel and the Ninth Angel, which appear to be subspecies of the same morphological 'species' expression. Both are microscopic entities capable of forming into colonies with no apparent core that, given access to an Evangelion or presumably Angel, are capable of seizing control over the body. In this sense, they appear to be a parasitic colonial organism. We nominate them with the following taxa: Evangeloraptis anthropocontaminans Funga macrocolonialis mentalocomprimisor Microscopa hostilis friendkiller
Ireul, the other member of the Family, is perhaps the strangest Angel. It, with Israfel, constitutes the only known case of a 'plural' Angel - one that inhabits many forms - other than the Lilim, the Human-analogue of the Anno Cluster. Unlike Israfel, it demonstrated a clear capacity for tool use and complex planning.
This suggests the possibility that Ireul, unlike the majority of other Angels, may not in fact have been the recipient of the Fruit of Life rather than the Fruit of Knowledge. When we compare it to the sole other known example of such a recipient, we find in both cases: A distributed existence with no clear, singular core; Tool use and apparent complex planning abilities; Relatively rapid adaptation to complex environments based on cognition; An AT field that is physically distinct from that of the other Angels in either shape or colour; Suicidal tendencies as a result of its own cognition.
That other exemplar is, of course, the Lilim. The last point bears a brief explanatory note. The known end state of the Human being in most worlds of the Anno Cluster is 'Human Instrumentality', in which a portion of the species rejects individuality in the pursuit of self-annihilation and reunion with the whole as a gestalt entity. This produces an omnicidal event that may or may not include non-human life under its ambit (c.f. Ikuto's divergent 'Anima Universe', in which non-human life is explicitly preserved as part of the broader program of Instrumentality) but which results in temporary human extinction. The ability to conceive of, and pursue, Instrumentality is born of human cognition and emotional capacity, and so we may reasonably speak of a suicidal cognitive bias within the Lilim variant of the broad Human cluster - one shared by Ireul.
These peculiarities aside, we tentatively nominate Ireul as: Metalloincolacolyta ireula With the niche and mythotaxa: Teknovirales hyperintelligentsia anno Macrobacteria fauxandromeda ireul
Tumblr media
FIGURE 12: The Angel Leliel, or D. dysthymica.
The Evangeloamorphidae consist of two genera, each with a single known species that share a curiousity around Human minds. The first, the Diracidae, harbours the curious Angel 'Leliel', who exists in an extradimensional pocket realm capable of projecting shadows into its mainline physical reality. Leliel's core is not known to physically exist, though it may exist in this extraplanar dimension - in which case, it should be considered Koukyuuvasiae. We nominate Leliel as: D. dysthymica Hostilotenebra portalotenebra dysthymia Mentallometaphorus depressiocatharsogenitor
The other, Heliconoapostolus, consists of Armisael alone, an Angel that consists of a glowing strand of light that, when not engaged in hunting or contact behaviour, hovers in the form of a double helix. Armisael has no apparent core, attempts to rebirth other Angels, and behaves in a most unorthodox manner. The three Angels known to pursue Human mental contact appear to create a curious triad of sexual imagery - Leliel functioning as Egg and Womb, Armisael as physically penetrative Phallus and Sperm, and Arael as a metaphorical act of rape through forcible mental connection - that may be indicative of a shared lineage of the Soul predicated on attempting to fuse with others. This speculation aside, we nominate Armisael as: H. phalloplasmida Abstractiformes plasmidium sexualis Mentallometaphorus libidometaphora anno
Tumblr media
FIGURE 13: The Akoukyuuvasiae clade of Angel morphology.
This, then, is the scope of known Angel morphology, though it is possible that additional Messenger's Earths exist that may require taxonomization. [Read: If you want me to tackle the other, weirder angels - Diemay's angel and so on - ask. This was already too long.] But the Angels and Lilim Humans are not the end of the matter.
Special Subjects: Rei and Kaworu
Having previously spoken of the impact of souls on determining morphology of the Angel, we now turn to two curious specimens: the children known as 'Ayanami Rei' and 'Nagisa Kaworu', who are phenotypically relatively normal (pseudo-albinism excepted) clone-body Lilim Humans possessed of the 'salvaged souls' of two Seeds of Life. Neither subject possesses a known Angel-like Core, though they are capable of manifesting AT fields considerably stronger than those of ordinary humans.
Tumblr media
FIGURE 14: Ayanami Rei and Kaworu Nagisa.
It has been suggested that the reason Rei and Kaworu maintain an essentially human morphology - barring certain highly specific events that produce a rapid fusion of them with an extant Seed's body - is that they are 'bound' into Lilim Human form. This idea is not without merit, but we consider it to perhaps be overlooking an equally likely explanation. The basic genetic material of the Angels, and by extension, the Seeds, is human. The bodily plan of all known Seeds is essentially hominid. It follows that the range of morphological expressions of the souls attached to these Seeds is already inclined towards human or human-adjacent forms, and that these forms are perhaps less 'imposed' than 'suggested' to the Soul regardless of the morphological limitations of Lilim Human genetic expression.
This being the case, we find no basis to speciate Rei and Kaworu as non-Lilim Human beings on either the morphological or phylogenetic level. A tentative mythotaxa is provided, however: Metanthropos avatarika annospermae
However, Rei and Kaworu are not the only beings that are the products of Lilim Human cloning and soul experimentation. We now turn to the elephants in the room - the Evangelions.
EVANGELIONS
Tumblr media
FIGURE 15: A selection of Evangelions.
An Evangelion, from our study of the Messenger's Earths, is one of three things:
A clone of an Adam - the case in the older Messenger's Earth for most Evangelions - containing a transplanted human Soul;
A clone of Lilith, though we submit that Lilith is not meaningfully distinct from an Adam;
An Adam itself, reshaped.
In all three cases, an Evangelion appears to be a replica Seed that reproduces the genetics of that Seed and an essentially human, but greatly enlarged, morphology (barring minor abnormalities in facial arrangement.) As the products of Seed cloning, it is notable that all known Evangelions possess cores, including Unit-01, which in the earlier Messenger's Earth is the product of cloning Lilith rather than an Adam. We will return to that point shortly when discussing the Seeds, but for now, we note it as a morphological constant.
The Evangelions, we suggest, represent the 'default state' of Seed-derived life. It is clear that their morphology is not produced by a resident Soul, as they retain this morphology prior to the introduction of one to their Core. However, it is also clear that they are altered by human engineering towards a specific bodily plan, and accordingly, we offer them the following taxa as members of the Koukyuuvasiae and Adamiformes. They are the sole species within the family Homoadamofabricidae, and are: Homoadamofabricus evangelion With niche and mythotaxa of: Megacyborgae humaniformida humanobot Metanthropos avatarika gigantarobota evangelos

A second installment will follow shortly on the Seeds, the First Ancestral Race, and the implications of panspermia on Angelic cladistics.

“You can look down from the Ajna chakra (the “third eye”) and see everybody else’s material and mental realms; you see an infinite number of sidereal universes. Surrounding each spark of God is built a universe.” - Goswami Kriyananda
Sirian - Galactic Collective Talon Abraxas
We are The Sirians. We are here to help you to navigate your Earth plane during these challenging times. In today’s transmission we will be discussing the pineal gland chakra. We will give you the Ashkeru perspective on it. We will not be giving you any information on the throat chakra as you call it. From our perspective, it is not of importance at this stage in your development. You all need to realize that you do not primarily communicate via your voice as you may be conditioned to believe. We pay very close attention to your interactions and we are here to tell you that 99.9% of your communication is energetic, it is non-verbal. As you continue to evolve and integrate more of your Higher Selves and move through the fourth dimension, the less important your verbal communication is going to be.
When you start approaching the fifth dimension, you will all start developing a new chakra, a new energy centre between your solar plexus and your heart that will greatly reinforce the amount of Light that you can ground in your body. At the same time, you will also develop a brand new chakra just above your crown chakra that will allow you to process more inter-dimensional energies into your body. At that period of time the majority of you will start to communicate telepathically and you will lose the need for voice communication gradually. If you focus on all your other chakras and in particular to your heart chakra, your throat chakra is automatically taken care of. A being with an open and full heart will communicate clearly and peacefully regardless of the mode of communication, it does not matter if it is verbal or not. We hope we have provided sufficient explanation from our perspective.
Let us now move upwards on the tree of life, as we the Sirian Ashkeru beings see it, superimposed on your Earth-human bodies. The next chakra is the Third Eye as you call it and it corresponds to the organ residing in the middle of your brain called the pineal gland. Your pineal gland is quite possibly the most misunderstood organ in your anatomies. We know its full potential because we helped design it. It is important for us that you are aware of it because for us it is a compass that helps us always find our way back “home”. And your “home” dear ones is not just the Earth-plane home, it is the Galaxy, all the dimensions, all the densities and all the beings residing there.
Your pineal gland is your compass to navigating your intergalactic and inter-dimensional nature. If you want proof that you are not alone in the universe start reading up on the pineal gland, on its crystalline nature, on its electric properties, on its ability to induce altered states of consciousness and connect you to Higher Guidance. We want you to anatomically locate it inside your skull and then gently press your index finger, either of them, on the area between your eyebrows and bring the anatomically correct location inside your skull to mind. We want you to visualize your pineal gland as a light-bulb. A very big, bright light bulb.
There are a lot of theories on your plane that some chemical substances block your pineal glands, and you cannot use them. We are here to tell you that these are fear-mongering theories and that nothing can ever block your pineal glands other than your own consciousness. None of you, and we mean NONE of you, is blocked. There is no chemical substance strong enough to prevent you from accessing your Divine Inter-dimensional nature. Only your consciousness is powerful enough to do that. So, we urge you to stop giving your power away and instead we want to encourage you to start building a connection with your divine compass chakra, the Ka-lea-annah. We will give you a short mantra to recite after you have mentally visualized and anatomically located your pineal gland: Ka-lea-aki, Ka-lea-arah.
Keep repeating these words silently in your head. They are ideal to attune your pineal gland. Repeat them slowly, in a steady rhythm spelling the three syllables carefully and separately. Do this practice for several of your minutes. For those of you feeling a certain affection and closeness for Sirian energies, we recommend visualizing the light bulb emanating a bright sky-blue colour. We want you to know that any colour that is comfortable for you to visualize is the right one. After several rounds of practice, we want you to start engaging with your Guides on this topic and ask questions on topics you would like information for. For those of you that are ready for more advanced spiritual experiences we recommend doing this while you are very relaxed, just before you naturally drift off to sleep. For the rest of you we suggest you do this practice just before your main meditation practice or spiritual practice you are comfortable with.
We are the Sirians and we are pleased to connect with you All!

tangles in my hair
prompt: tangles in my hair
The heroine winced, threading her fingers around yet another metal hair pin. She unraveled the knotted curls, trying to ignore the pinpricking pain each pin set against her skull. She’d felt worse pain. Recently, even. Still. She hadn’t wanted to attend the ball in the first place.  After dancing with allies and enemies alike for the duration of the (incredibly long) event, undoing her hair seemed a colossal effort. She sighed, resting one arm on the cool metal towel rack. Unraveling one pin somehow seemed to produce further tangles in her curls, but if she didn’t get the pomp and pins quite literally out of her hair, she’d surely awake with a murderous migraine in the morning.
“Long night?”
The heroine jolted at the voice. She whirled, acutely slamming the funny bone of her elbow into the towel rack. Pain radiated up her arm. She cursed, unsure which was the worst offense – the pins and needles in her skull, her now-throbbing arm, or her archnemesis lounging in her bathroom doorway.
The villainess whistled, moving to catch the heroine’s arm in her grasp.
“You’re slow this evening.”
The heroine glared. “And you’re late.”
The villainess merely raised an eyebrow, now massaging the muscles of the heroine’s hurt arm. The heroine ignored the gesture – and corresponding pain relief – to level the villainess with a flat look.
“Not late,” the heroine corrected herself. “You didn’t show up. At all.” It felt petulant. It was petulant. But the heroine didn’t care.
“Were you waiting for me to make a grand entrance?” the villainess prompted.
“Yes,” the heroine admitted.
“Not my style.”
The heroine rolled her eyes.
The villainess ignored the gesture, instead deepening her massage. The heroine could feel herself melting at the touch. Her face heated.
“Still, you missed me,” the villainess chuckled softly. “I’m honored you thought of me on your night off.”
“Hardly a night off.” At that, the villainess raised an eyebrow. The heroine continued, “I danced with every male ally – and enemy – in or near my organization. I secured alliances, brokered deals. Hell, they all flirted with me. It’s if they can’t catch a vibe-”
“All the while, waltzing gracefully,” the villainess interrupted, teasing. “Belle of the ball.”
“Sure.”
“As per usual, then,” the villainess mused.
The heroine sharpened her gaze. “Your absence was not, as you would say, per usual.”
It was true. Despite the lack of grand entrances, the villainess had always deigned to make an appearance. Typically sticking to a choreographed arm tugging at the heroine’s waist, leading them both into the shadows. To welcomes whispers in the heroine’s ear. Once, when the villainess was in true disguise as a foreign agency member, they’d shared a covert waltz. The heroine could still feel the heat of the villainess’s body pressed against her own.
“So where were you?” The heroine demanded, interrupting her own thoughts. In response, the villainess merely tugged her forward, out of the bathroom and into the connecting bedroom.
“Sit,” the villainess ordered, pressing gently on the heroine’s shoulders so that the heroine took a spot on the rug, her ballgown, a frivolous but not unwelcome thing, billowed out beneath her. The villainess helped herself to a perch on the sofa behind, taking the heroine’s hair slightly in her hands.
“Head back,” the villainess muttered, and the heroine obeyed.
With soft hands that sent a chill down the heroine’s spine, the villainess located the hair pins one-by-one, untangling them carefully, easing the ache in the heroine's skull, before handing the pin down to the heroine. One-by-one the heroine took the pins, internally grateful for the villainess’s patience, which the heroine herself certainly did not possess. It was a gesture gentler than the heroine believed either of them could make.
“To answer your question,” the villainess said, breaking the silence. “I was on a different assignment.”
“Which was?”
“Classified.”
The heroine rolled her eyes, even knowing that the villainess could not see.
“Something I will have to thwart, then,” the heroine said.
The villainess pulled a particularly unforgiving pin from the heroine’s scalp.
The heroine winced. “Ouch.”
“Sorry.” The villainess did not seem sorry. “You’re tense.”
“And you’re being elusive.”
“Hardly,” the villainess murmured. “I’m right here, aren’t I?”
The heroine startled only slightly as the villainess’s lips brushed the shell of the heroine’s ear. The heroine turned, attempting to give her a flat look, but some part of her brain went fuzzy at the closeness.
“I thought we told each other things.” The heroine’s voice came out as a whisper.
The villainess looked at her softly. “Perhaps. Or perhaps you’re just too honest for your own good.”
“Am I?”
They were dizzyingly close now. Even the villainess seemed to lose her regular self-assured look, pupils wide. The villainess’s eyes dropped to the hero’s lips.
Looking back, the heroine was unsure which of them moved first, only that the villainess was now on the rug next to the heroine, hands still tangled in the villainess’s hair. Her lips were soft against the heroine’s, questioning. Heart pounding, the heroine deepened the kiss, her hands instinctively finding the villainess’s waist.
The villainess’s words rang in the heroine’s ears and the heroine pulled back, reeling. The villainess froze, hands stilling in her heroine’s hair, eyes wide.
“I’m too honest?” the heroine managed. Her head was reeling. Heart pounding. But she reached for the words. “I may have missed you, but you’ve always sought me out without fail. Never I, you.”
Surprise was a new look for the villainess, and the heroine found that she did not mislike it. “Sorry-?”
“No, don’t-” the heroine lost the words. She reached up, gently pushing a stray lock of hair out of the villainess’s eyes before lowering her gaze. “I didn’t know it was like that.”
“You want honesty?” The villainess whispered.
The heroine nodded. “Yes.”
The villainess's voice was gruff, soft. “It’s like that.”
This time, it was surely the who heroine closed the gap, unable to stop her from smiling against the villainess’s soft mouth.

Open star cluster Messier 6
Tumblr media
Open star cluster Messier 6, is drawn by the Grok AI
Messier 6, also known as the Butterfly Cluster, is an open star cluster located in the constellation Scorpius. Here's what astronomers know about it:
Basic Information:
Catalog Designations: M6, NGC 6405
Location: Constellation Scorpius, near the stinger of the scorpion
Coordinates: Right Ascension 17h 40m 20s, Declination -32° 15' 00"
Distance: Approximately 1,500 to 2,000 light-years from Earth
Physical Characteristics:
Age: Estimated to be around 100 million years old, making it relatively young for an open cluster.
Number of Stars: Contains about 80 to 100 stars, with some sources suggesting up to 300 when including fainter members.
Brightest Stars: The brightest star is a class B8 giant, which gives the cluster its distinctive V-shape, reminiscent of butterfly wings.
Apparent Magnitude: The integrated visual magnitude of the cluster is about 4.2, making it visible to the naked eye under good conditions.
Morphology and Structure:
Shape: Its distinctive butterfly shape is what most observers note, especially through binoculars or a small telescope.
Size: The cluster spans about 25 arcminutes across the sky, but its actual physical size corresponds to roughly 12 to 15 light-years in diameter.
Scientific Interest:
Star Formation Studies: Open clusters like M6 are crucial for understanding star formation processes since all stars in the cluster are roughly the same age and distance from us, providing a snapshot of how stars evolve over time.
Chemical Composition: Observations of the stars in M6 help in understanding the chemical composition and evolution of stars within open clusters, particularly how metallicity varies.
Distance Calibration: It serves as a benchmark for calibrating distances in the Milky Way due to its well-studied parameters.
Observation:
Visibility: Best observed from the Southern Hemisphere due to its declination, but it's visible from the Northern Hemisphere in summer months when Scorpius is high in the sky.
Equipment Needed: Visible to the naked eye in dark skies, but binoculars or a small telescope will reveal its butterfly shape more distinctly.
Cultural Significance:
While not as culturally famous as some other clusters, M6 is part of the lore of sky watching, especially among amateur astronomers for its distinctive appearance.
Messier 6 was cataloged by Charles Messier in 1764, who included it in his list to help comet hunters distinguish between deep-sky objects and comets. This cluster, along with its neighbor Messier 7, offers a beautiful sight for anyone exploring the night sky in the direction of Scorpius.
Source: Grok AI
First, let's correct a few inaccuracies
Modern (and already quite accurate) estimates of the distance to the Messier 6 cluster are inclined to the value of 1600 light years (or a little less). Accordingly, the linear dimensions are limited to 12 light years.
The brightest star of the cluster BM Scorpii is a red-orange giant of the spectral class K3. Before the time when stellar parallaxes began to be measured directly from spacecraft outside the atmosphere, these measurements were made with a high error. Therefore, it was believed that this star did not belong to the cluster and was located twice as close to us - in the middle between the cluster and the Solar System. You can understand why everyone liked this idea: Most of the stars in the cluster are blue and hot, and this one is red and cold — as if from another stellar family.
But now everything has become clear
BM Scorpii is indeed a very massive star, exceeding the Sun in mass by about 17-20 times. And in the 120 million years that the cluster has existed, it has lived almost its entire stellar life. Now it has already entered the final stage of its evolutionary path, and in some future (in a few million years) it will flare up as a supernova, scattering the matter of its outer layers around itself, and will give the cluster a nebula of an unpredictable shape. And in place of the core of this star, most likely, only a neutron star, or even a black hole, will remain.
The open cluster Messier 6 can be visible to the naked eye. It is better to observe it in the southern hemisphere, since its declination is below -30 degrees — in the middle northern latitudes it either does not rise, or even during the upper culmination literally lies on the horizon. And to see it without optics, it needs to rise high in the sky (and, of course, the observer needs to be further away from city lights).
It is interesting to compare this cluster with the Pleiades — the brightest and most beautiful open cluster in the northern sky. The M6 "Butterfly Cluster" is four times further than the Pleiades. But if it were in their place, it could look no less impressive. In any case, its brightest stars would be 16 times brighter - this is approximately 3 stellar magnitudes brighter than the magnitude they have now, and this would be quite comparable to the brightness of the Pleiades stars.
It is quite possible that this cluster was seen in ancient times by Ptolemy — in the second century AD (although this is only an assumption). And the first documented observation of the Messier 6 cluster dates back to 1654 and belongs to Giovanni Battista Hodierna.

Liam's death investigation official update
Tumblr media
The head of the National Criminal and Correctional Court No. 34, Laura Bruniard, processed last Friday the five people accused in the framework of the investigation that the Public Prosecutor's Office carried out on the death of Liam James Payne, which occurred on October 16 when the 31-year-old British musician fell from the balcony of the hotel in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Palermo where he had been staying for three days. Three of the accused were processed without preventive detention for negligent homicide, and the other two for the crime of supplying narcotics, and they were ordered to preventive detention.
The defendants were charged at the time by the head of the National Criminal and Correctional Prosecutor's Office No. 14, prosecutor Andrés Esteban Madrea, who investigated the circumstances of the incident from the beginning.
RLN, the victim’s representative who accompanied Payne on this trip to Buenos Aires to obtain his US visa again; the hotel manager, GAM; and the head of reception, ERG; are the three accused of “culpable homicide,” a crime contemplated in article 84 of the Penal Code (CP) and which provides for a sentence of 1 to 5 years in prison for anyone who “through imprudence, negligence, lack of skill in their art or profession or failure to observe the regulations or duties in their charge causes the death of another.” The judge also placed an embargo on all three of them for 50 million pesos each.
Meanwhile, the EDP hotel employee and a waiter whom Payne met in the Puerto Madero neighborhood and whose initials are BNP, were prosecuted for “supply of narcotics,” a crime specified in article 5, section “e” of Law No. 23,737 on Narcotics, which provides for a sentence of 4 to 15 years in prison. Both were given preventive detention and five million pesos in assets were seized.
In the case of RLN, Payne's companion during his stay in Argentina, there was a difference in the criminal classification chosen by the judge, since the prosecutor Madrea, when charging him and requesting his questioning, had done so for more serious crimes: abandonment of a person followed by death - contemplated in article 106 of the Criminal Code and which carries a sentence of 5 to 15 years in prison -, as the author, in ideal competition with supply and facilitation of narcotics.
"Bringing Payne up to room 310 in that state, where he was staying, was creating a legally unacceptable risk to his life," the judge said.
The accusations
In the resolution, Bruniard transcribes the five charges formulated by the MPF at the time of the investigations and whose details are as follows:
EDP (hotel employee): He is accused of having delivered cocaine, for a fee, once on October 15, 2024, at 3:25 a.m., and the next time on October 16, 2024, between 3:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., for Liam James Payne to consume during his stay at the Casa Sur Palermo hotel, located at 6032 Costa Rica Street in this city.
BNP (waiter): he is accused of having delivered cocaine, for a fee, on October 14, at 3:24 a.m., for Payne to consume at the hotel, where he even accompanied him to room #310, checking in with him, between 3:25 a.m. and 8:15 a.m. when he checked out. Also, on the same day, he is accused of having delivered more cocaine, for a fee, for the accused to consume, between 10:03 a.m. and 10:44 a.m., on which occasion Payne went to the defendant's home, at 400 Agüero Street in the Federal Capital, traveling in a taxi and returning to the hotel.
RLN (representative): he is held criminally responsible for the death of Liam James Payne through the execution of actions and omissions in the period prior to and contemporaneous that culminated in Payne falling from the balcony of room No. 310 corresponding to the Casa Sur Palermo hotel […]. Thus, the accused N. failed to comply with his duties of care, assistance and aid that he had towards Payne due not only to a pre-existing legal duty but also to specific functions of guidance and personal accompaniment, previously coordinated and accepted by the relevance and activities of his profession, abandoning him to his fate, knowing that he was incapable of caring for himself, knowing that the accused suffered from multiple previous addictions - to alcohol and cocaine - and having full knowledge of the state of intoxication, vulnerability and helplessness in which he found himself.
GAM (hotel manager): She was present in the lobby at the time prior to the events and noticed the state of health of Lyam James Payne, who was unable to stand due to the consumption of various substances. The manager was in charge of the establishment and allowed, at least by omission, for Payne to be taken to his room moments before his death. In the room, number 310 of the Casa Sur Palermo hotel, there was a balcony that, given the detailed situation, was a source of risk for Payne. […] The conduct that M. should have carried out was to keep him safe in an area without sources of danger, in company and until medical care was provided for him.
ERG (hotel reception manager): was present in the hotel lobby at the time prior to the events and noticed the state of health of Lyam James Payne, who was unable to stand due to the consumption of various substances. G. led a group of three people who dragged Payne to his room moments before his death. In the room, number 310 of the Casa Sur Palermo hotel, there was a balcony that, given the detailed picture, was a source of risk for Payne. […] The conduct that G. should have carried out was to keep him safe in an area without sources of danger, in company and until he could be provided with medical care.
"I maintain that the person named tried to leave from the balcony of the place where he was left because the forensic experts noted that he did not lose his balance. This is how the fall occurred," explained the magistrate.
The supply of drugs
In the case of the EDP hotel employee, Bruniard said he shared "the prosecutor's theory that the accused provided cocaine to Payne for a fee."
Based on testimony and analysis of some of the footage, he mentioned that the accused received “100 dollars” from the victim in exchange for buying drugs from him and that, on another occasion, the British musician sent a car to the defendant’s home in the Buenos Aires district of Lomas de Zamora to bring him more narcotics.
Regarding the waiter BNP - who in his defense admitted having given drugs to Payne but stated that he did so to spend time with him - the judge also agreed with "the prosecutor's thesis that the delivery of cocaine was for money."
To do so, he evaluated the chats between the musician and the defendant that talked about it, the hotel footage that captured the waiter's arrival at the hotel in the early hours of October 14 and his departure almost five hours later, and the fact that "Payne asked for money at the reception desk while the defendant was in his room."
"In this case, it was proven that both EDP and BNP supplied cocaine in exchange for money to Liam James Payne," Bruniard said, supporting the MPF's accusation.
The judge's thesis
In the grounds of the indictment, and after analyzing and validating the evidence collected by the prosecution, the judge developed her own "thesis" on what happened to the former leader of the band One Direction .
Bruniard stated that “it was proven by the testimonies gathered by the prosecutor that Liam James Payne had a history of addiction.” In this regard, he explained that he was seen demanding cocaine and alcohol by the staff of the Casa Sur Palermo hotel and that “the autopsy performed on his body showed that the death was caused by multiple trauma and internal and external bleeding,” and that “the presence of cocaine and alcohol in large quantities was confirmed.”
“On October 16, moments before 5 p.m., Payne was unable to care for himself,” the judge noted, pointing out as evidence of this the photograph incorporated into the case, which corresponds to the footage taken by a camera in the hotel lobby, where at 4:54 p.m. the musician was seen unconscious and being dragged “by three people.”
“The way he was being handled shows a state of vulnerability,” the judge said, referring to the situation of the hotel manager and receptionist, stating that “bringing Payne up in that state to room 310 where he was staying was creating a legally disapproved risk to his life.”
“Payne’s consciousness was altered and there was a balcony in the room. The proper thing to do was to leave him in a safe place and with company until a doctor arrived. The people responsible at the hotel that day were the manager GAM and the head of reception ERG,” he added.
When analyzing the hotel security camera recordings presented by the prosecution, Bruniard also highlighted that thanks to them it was possible to observe that the head of reception ERG “is the one who led Payne to be dragged to his room” and that “the images are compelling” when this defendant and the manager GAM are seen moments before 5 p.m. “in the hallway of room 310,” and that minutes later the victim was found dead in the restaurant's patio.
Payne wanted to leave through the balcony
In another section of the ruling, the judge mentioned that, according to her hypothesis, Payne did not faint when he fell into the void, but that, in his state of intoxication due to polydrug use, he tried to leave the room through the balcony and thus fell.
“I maintain that the person named tried to leave from the balcony of the place where he was left because the forensic experts noted that he did not lose his balance. This is how the fall occurred,” explained the magistrate, who to support this theory mentioned an extension of the report of the Forensic Medical Corps and an ocular inspection carried out on December 5 at the Casa Sur Palermo hotel, in which the magistrate herself participated.
“I believe that M. (manager) and G. (head of reception) did not act maliciously in relation to the singer's death, but they were imprudent in allowing him to be taken to the room and taking him there respectively. They created a legally disapproved risk and Payne's death is the concretisation of that risk. The named man tried to leave via the balcony, in the state detailed, he fell into the void and died,” he concluded.
According to the forensic experts, Payne fell into the hotel restaurant's patio "without any sign of defense," which caused multiple injuries to his body, especially to his head after hitting the concrete support of an umbrella directly.
"Payne's consciousness was altered and there was a balcony in the room. The proper thing to do was to leave him in a safe place and with company until a doctor arrived," the judge said.
The situation of the companion
Regarding RLN -who assisted Payne during his stay in Buenos Aires-, the judge held that “he is responsible for the crime of negligent homicide as the perpetrator given that he had assumed a position of guarantor in front of the family of the deceased.” Based on testimony statements and analysis of communications and messaging chats presented by the prosecution, she added that “it is evident that this defendant was Liam James Payne's contact for the hotel.”
She explained that RLN was present at the hotel moments before the dangerous situation occurred and this is supported by the images that show him leaving Casa Sur at 16:11 - some 50 minutes before the incident. "I believe that at that point, given the results of the autopsy, Payne's state of vulnerability was evident. N. could not trust that the rest of the hotel staff would act appropriately," the magistrate assessed, beyond the continuity of the investigation.
The rating
In justifying the criminal classification chosen for the three defendants for negligent homicide, the judge explained that "the situation of these defendants can be treated jointly, although each one must answer as the author for their act given that there is no co-authorship in the negligent crime and the way in which they have created the risk situation, which resulted in Payne's death, is different."
“In this specific case, I do not consider that N. (representative), M. (manager) or G. (head of reception) planned and wanted Payne’s death. They did not imagine the outcome but they created a legally disapproved risk. M. created this, in his role as manager of the establishment, by allowing Payne to go up to room 310. G. did so by leading the group of people who took Payne to the aforementioned room. […] What happened was foreseeable,” he said.
"In the case of N. (representative), he should have consulted a doctor given the commitment made to the family of the deceased. He should have done this without relying on what the hotel employees could do," he assessed.
Finally, the judge considered that "the three people who are being prosecuted have contributed, although not in a planned manner, to creating a risk that resulted in Payne's death, whether by action or omission."
Precautionary measures
In justifying the pretrial detention of the hotel employee and the waiter, Bruniard took into account the expected sentence for the crime for which they were prosecuted, which does not allow a suspended sentence.
Regarding the three defendants charged with manslaughter - who were not given preventive detention - the magistrate indicated that there were no procedural risks, that they have roots and that the sentence does allow for a suspended sentence. In any case, the prohibition against RLN, a US citizen, was upheld in order to guarantee his permanence in the country.

Ever heard of Hell Girl?
I can totally see a devil or an Infernal Duke offering something like the Hell Correspondence to mortals as a quick way to gather souls
If you don't know Hell Girl, here's an explanation
If you visit the Hell Correspondence website at just the right time and enter the name of someone you want to damn to Hell (if I remember correctly) the Hell Girl and her minions will appear and give you s black straw doll with a red thread around the neck. If you pull the thread, the person you cursed is killed and damned to Hell, but the cost is, you will also be damned to Hell when you die.
I could see it being a type of diabolic contract. They take one soul in exchange for yours, with no loopholes aside from divine intervention.
-----
I'm afraid that's another hard sell. You can contract devils to carry out assassinations all day and night, that's common! However, to have a devil drag an innocent person's soul to Hell and keep it there for eternity? That simply doesn't happen in Pathfinder. Often.
Skipping the Courts of Purgatory is a BIG cosmic no-no, and while demons and daemons may not care, the devils at least pretend to play fair, and thus the souls of innocents who are bound for other afterlives are usually allowed to leave Hell unless the devils think they can get away with keeping them. If devils could just skip the waiting line, they wouldn't work so hard to get their hooks into people and corrupt them beyond redemption!
Now, there are ways to skip the waiting line already, including the Ebon Acolytus, the Malediction spell, and most infamously Hellfire Ray, but all these methods will draw the ire of the Boneyard against both the mortal using them and the fiends receiving the souls, who will send a polite correspondence to the fiend in possession of a soul that doesn't belong to them commanding its release. If the soul isn't released to a proper afterlife, THEN the attacks begin as the forces of the Boneyard mobilize against the fiend, either directly via hunting psychopomps, indirectly via sneaking infiltrators to pilfer the soul, or by using agents in the universe to begin exacting their toll upon the fiend's mortal servants to force their hand. Sooner or later, one way or another, the error is corrected.
Only archfiends tend to have the power needed to hold onto improperly-sorted souls; anything less typically falls to the forces of fate. The only reason they get away with it at all is because... well... a lot is happening in the universe. Those three line-skippers above I mentioned cause a lot of chaos; it takes a while for the error of a missing soul to be spotted, then the soul must be located, THEN the fiend holding the soul must be contacted, and if the contact doesn't work, a plan to retrieve the soul must be made, and further plans must be constructed if the first one doesn't work. In the bureaucratic courts, it may take a while for an imprisoned soul to be freed, but one way or another it will happen, if not by the psychopomps themselves, then by the agents of other gods who are alerted to the soul-stealing. If your Duke is going around stealing the souls of high-ranking worshipers of Good-aligned deities, it won't be very long until he's confronted by one of them directly, at which point Asmodeus is more likely to hold up his hands and back away than to intervene, because he's been playing fair this whole time. As far as anyone knows.
... that's a lot of paragraphs, but this awoke something in me. If you really wanted it to work, you could skip the direct involvement of fiends altogether and make it a ritual that a mortal can perform themselves, condemning themselves and their target to a lower plane. Malediction and Hellfire Ray are allowed to work because they're the result of mortal choice, both damning the user for using them and giving the fiends receiving the souls a bit of plausible deniability, especially in the case of devils, who appreciate and exploit the existence of loopholes. If a devil is found to have a soul that isn't supposed to be there and confronted by the psychopomps, they can just hold it out at arm's length and go "Goodness gracious! I had no idea! Honest and truly, I thought this one was mine! Please, take it and put it where it belongs! I'll be sure to tell my followers to stop blasting people with evil beams!" while silently cursing the fact they were caught cheating.
Now, much like Malediction and Hellfire Ray, there's nothing stopping there from being an archfiend who simply knows the ritual, and happens to leave scrolls of it around in old dungeons and happens to tell its mortal worshipers that they exist. Why, this fiend may even retrieve the scroll FOR them if promised a juicy enough deal! But it's up to the mortal to actually use the power for themselves, allowing the fiend to wash its hands of the incident if it's actually caught by the Boneyard by going "I was just helping this mortal here achieve some revenge! It's their fault, not mine!"

Ok well Mark S is definitely rearranging Gemma’s brain cells or whatever, I’m not sure if that’s what every macrodat is doing?
I have a few thoughts here; first, I truly think whatever it is the macrodats do, it’s essential to the operation of Lumon. Every Severed location seems to have an MDR department, it’s not just at the Kier location. Also, Cobel and Milchick are genuinely also concerned with the performance of MDR. We can see this when it’s not clear if Helly will meet quota for the quarter. Meeting quota, files expiring, all of that is not incidental or arbitrary, there is pressure from above Cobel to get that shit done. It actively helps Lumon.
Second, they’re definitely not all doing the same thing. PLEASE read the Lexington Letter, it’s a fun read and gives really interesting insight into the world and I’m about to spoil it.
So Peg Kincaid (the narrator) is a refiner at her location who ends up being able to send coded messages to her innie and they correspond for weeks. Peggy K finishes a file at 2:30 and at 2:32 a truck belonging to a Lumon competitor explodes in New York, killing 6 people. Peg makes this connection and tells Peggy K to stop refining, in turn Peggy K is sent to the Break Room for like a week (at one point Peg comes to with wet hair! Hmmm pineapple bobbing…) and tells Peg that she’s probably right. Peg later flees her town, feeling as though she’s being constantly watched and followed. Soon thereafter she dies “due to complications after a car accident”.
So I’m gonna say that Peg Kincaid was correct that her macrodata file was tied to the explosion of the truck. I can’t see how what she was doing could have resembled what we assume Mark S is doing. It’s definitely possible that everyone at the show’s location is doing the same thing (cleaning up cadaver brains on the testing floor) but it seems unlikely that that was what was happening at Peggy K’s location.
Every location could serve a different corporate purpose, who knows. Helly, Dylan, Irving, and Mark could be doing four completely separate things (I doubt it but it seems possible atp).
UGH I don’t even have a conclusion, I just think the answer won’t be as simple as they’re rewiring people or reconstructing personalities onto chips or whatever. People have been saying that but it’s not like Ms Casey acts anything like Gemma did? (Or close enough to satisfy someone seeking to bring back a dead loved one or long dead CEO) So I don’t know if it’s all resurrecting people from the dead like I’ve seen proposed.

A new study published in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences suggests that specific networks in the brain, when damaged, may influence the likelihood of developing religious fundamentalism. By analyzing patients with focal brain lesions, researchers found that damage to a particular network of brain regions—mainly in the right hemisphere—was associated with higher levels of fundamentalist beliefs. This finding provides new insight into the potential neural basis of religious fundamentalism, which has long been studied in psychology but less so in neuroscience.
Religious fundamentalism is a way of thinking and behaving characterized by a rigid adherence to religious doctrines that are seen as absolute and inerrant. It’s been linked to various cognitive traits such as authoritarianism, resistance to doubt, and a lower complexity of thought. While much of the research on religious fundamentalism has focused on social and environmental factors like family upbringing and cultural influence, there has been growing interest in the role of biology. Some studies have suggested that genetic factors or brain function may influence religiosity, but until now, very little research has looked at specific brain networks that could underlie fundamentalist thinking.
The researchers behind this study wanted to address a critical gap in understanding how brain lesions might affect religious beliefs, particularly fundamentalism. Prior research suggested that damage to the prefrontal cortex could increase fundamentalist attitudes, but this work was limited to small sample sizes and focused only on one part of the brain. The authors of the study hypothesized that instead of a single brain region being responsible, religious fundamentalism might arise from damage to a distributed network of connected brain regions.
“My primary interest is and has been mystical experience. But in the process researching the cognitive neuroscience of mystical experience, I came across brain network associations with religious fundamentalism,” study corresponding author Michael Ferguson, an instructor in neurology at Harvard Medical School and director of Neurospirituality Research at the Center for Brain Circuit Therapeutics.
To explore whether damage to specific brain networks could influence the likelihood of holding religious fundamentalist beliefs, the researchers used a method called lesion network mapping, which helps identify how different regions of the brain are connected and how damage to one area might disrupt related brain functions. The study involved two large groups of patients with focal brain damage, giving the researchers a unique opportunity to analyze how different types of brain lesions might be linked to religious beliefs.
The first group consisted of 106 male Vietnam War veterans who had sustained traumatic brain injuries during combat. These men, aged between 53 and 75 at the time of brain imaging, were part of a long-term study conducted at the National Institutes of Health. The second group included 84 patients from rural Iowa who had experienced brain injuries from various causes, such as strokes, surgical resections, or traumatic head injuries. This second group was more diverse in terms of gender and had a broader range of injury causes.
Both groups completed a scale designed to measure religious fundamentalism, which asked participants to respond to statements reflecting rigid and inerrant religious beliefs, such as the view that there is only one true religion or that certain religious teachings are absolutely correct and unchangeable.
For each participant, the researchers mapped the precise locations of their brain lesions using advanced imaging techniques like computerized tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). These scans were then analyzed using lesion network mapping to see how damage to certain brain areas was connected to changes in religious fundamentalism scores. The researchers also compared the brain lesion data to a larger database of lesions associated with various neuropsychiatric and behavioral conditions, which helped them understand how the brain regions linked to religious fundamentalism overlap with those involved in other psychological traits.
The researchers found that damage to certain areas of the brain, particularly in the right hemisphere, was associated with higher scores on the religious fundamentalism scale. Specifically, lesions affecting the right superior orbital frontal cortex, right middle frontal gyrus, right inferior parietal lobe, and the left cerebellum were linked to increased religious fundamentalism. In contrast, damage to regions such as the left paracentral lobule and the right cerebellum was associated with lower scores on the fundamentalism scale.
“The strength and reproducibility of the signal between psychological self-report measures of religious fundamentalism and the functional networks we identified in the brain surprised me,” Ferguson told PsyPost. “It increases confidence in the results.”
Interestingly, the researchers noted that the brain regions identified in this study are part of a broader network connected to cognitive functions like reasoning, belief formation, and moral decision-making. These areas are also associated with conditions like pathological confabulation—a disorder where individuals create false memories or beliefs without the intent to deceive. Confabulation is often linked to cognitive rigidity and difficulty in revising beliefs, characteristics that are also found in individuals with high levels of religious fundamentalism.
The researchers also found a spatial overlap between brain lesions associated with criminal behavior and this fundamentalism network, which aligns with previous research suggesting that extreme religious beliefs may be linked to hostility and aggression toward outgroups.
“It’s sobering, but one of the takeaway findings is the shared neuroanatomy between religious fundamentalism, confabulations, and criminal behavior,” Ferguson said. “It refocuses important questions about how and why these aspects of human behavior may be observed to relate to each other.”
The researchers emphasize that damage to this brain network does not guarantee that a person will develop fundamentalist beliefs, nor does it imply that individuals with strong religious convictions have brain damage. Instead, the findings point to the possibility that certain brain networks influence how people process beliefs and how flexible or rigid their thinking becomes, especially in the context of religion.
“A major caveat is that these results do not indicate that people with strong religious beliefs confabulate or that individuals high in religious fundamentalism commit crimes,” Ferguson explained. “Rather, our data may help us understand the style of cognitive or emotional processing that increase or decrease the probability of holding fundamentalism attitudes.”
The authors suggest that future research should explore how this brain network influences religious fundamentalism in more diverse populations, including people from non-Christian religious traditions or from different cultural backgrounds. It would also be valuable to study patients both before and after brain injuries to better understand how changes in the brain might affect religious beliefs over time. Additionally, research could investigate how this brain network relates to other types of belief systems, such as political ideologies or moral convictions, to see if similar patterns of cognitive rigidity or reduced skepticism emerge in these contexts.
“The personal beliefs of the authors span a broad continuum from adherents of religious faiths through agnosticism to atheism,” Ferguson noted. “We approach the weighty subject matter of this research as earnest seekers of scientific data and encourage readers to receive our results in the spirit of open-minded empirical inquiry driven by scientific curiosity and without prejudice or malice to any group or faith.”
The study, “A neural network for religious fundamentalism derived from patients with brain lesions,” was authored by Michael A. Ferguson, Erik W. Asp, Isaiah Kletenik , Daniel Tranel, Aaron D. Boes, Jenae M. Nelson, Frederic L. W. V. J. Schaper, Shan Siddiqi, Joseph I. Turner, J. Seth Anderson, Jared A. Nielsen, James R. Bateman, Jordan Grafman, and Michael D. Fox.

Significance
Religious fundamentalism is a global and enduring phenomenon. Measuring religious fundamentalism following focal brain damage may lend insight into its neural basis. We use lesion network mapping, a technique that uses connectivity data to identify functional brain networks, to analyze two large, independent datasets of brain lesion patients. We found a network of brain regions that, when damaged, are linked to higher religious fundamentalism. This functional network was lateralized to the right hemisphere and overlaps with the locations of brain lesions associated with specific neuropsychiatric and behavioral conditions. Our findings shed light on neuroanatomy that may influence the emergence of religious fundamentalism, offering implications for understanding the relationship between brain networks and fundamentalist behavior.
Abstract
Religious fundamentalism, characterized by rigid adherence to a set of beliefs putatively revealing inerrant truths, is ubiquitous across cultures and has a global impact on society. Understanding the psychological and neurobiological processes producing religious fundamentalism may inform a variety of scientific, sociological, and cultural questions. Research indicates that brain damage can alter religious fundamentalism. However, the precise brain regions involved with these changes remain unknown. Here, we analyzed brain lesions associated with varying levels of religious fundamentalism in two large datasets from independent laboratories. Lesions associated with greater fundamentalism were connected to a specific brain network with nodes in the right orbitofrontal, dorsolateral prefrontal, and inferior parietal lobe. This fundamentalism network was strongly right hemisphere lateralized and highly reproducible across the independent datasets (r = 0.82) with cross-validations between datasets. To explore the relationship of this network to lesions previously studied by our group, we tested for similarities to twenty-one lesion-associated conditions. Lesions associated with confabulation and criminal behavior showed a similar connectivity pattern as lesions associated with greater fundamentalism. Moreover, lesions associated with poststroke pain showed a similar connectivity pattern as lesions associated with lower fundamentalism. These findings are consistent with the current understanding of hemispheric specializations for reasoning and lend insight into previously observed epidemiological associations with fundamentalism, such as cognitive rigidity and outgroup hostility.

Two of the authors of the above paper also published the following:
Abstract
Background
Over 80% of the global population consider themselves religious, with even more identifying as spiritual, but the neural substrates of spirituality and religiosity remain unresolved.
Methods
In two independent brain lesion datasets (N1 = 88; N2 = 105), we applied lesion network mapping to test whether lesion locations associated with spiritual and religious belief map to a specific human brain circuit.
Results
We found that brain lesions associated with self-reported spirituality map to a brain circuit centered on the periaqueductal gray. Intersection of lesion locations with this same circuit aligned with self-reported religiosity in an independent dataset and previous reports of lesions associated with hyper-religiosity. Lesion locations causing delusions and alien limb syndrome also intersected this circuit.
Conclusions
These findings suggest that spirituality and religiosity map to a common brain circuit centered on the periaqueductal gray, a brainstem region previously implicated in fear conditioning, pain modulation, and altruistic behavior.
--
For reference, I previously posted about a similar study from 2017:
Abstract
Beliefs profoundly affect people's lives, but their cognitive and neural pathways are poorly understood. Although previous research has identified the ventromedial prefrontal cortex (vmPFC) as critical to representing religious beliefs, the means by which vmPFC enables religious belief is uncertain. We hypothesized that the vmPFC represents diverse religious beliefs and that a vmPFC lesion would be associated with religious fundamentalism, or the narrowing of religious beliefs. To test this prediction, we assessed religious adherence with a widely-used religious fundamentalism scale in a large sample of 119 patients with penetrating traumatic brain injury (pTBI). If the vmPFC is crucial to modulating diverse personal religious beliefs, we predicted that pTBI patients with lesions to the vmPFC would exhibit greater fundamentalism, and that this would be modulated by cognitive flexibility and trait openness. Instead, we found that participants with dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (dlPFC) lesions have fundamentalist beliefs similar to patients with vmPFC lesions and that the effect of a dlPFC lesion on fundamentalism was significantly mediated by decreased cognitive flexibility and openness. These findings indicate that cognitive flexibility and openness are necessary for flexible and adaptive religious commitment, and that such diversity of religious thought is dependent on dlPFC functionality.
--
It should be noted that fundamentalism is not exclusive to (traditional) religions.
“… fundamentalism, properly understood, is not about religion. It is about the inability to seriously entertain the possibility that one might be wrong. In individuals such fundamentalism is natural and, within reason, desirable. But when it becomes the foundation for an intellectual system, it is inherently a threat to freedom of thought.” -- Jonathan Rauch, “Kindly Inquisitors: The New Attacks on Free Thought”
Flat Earth, anti-vax and wokery (modern feminism, "anti-racism," "gender identity" ideology, fat activism, etc) are all fundamentalist in nature. There is no evidence you can present to disabuse them of the tenets of their faith.
This phenomenon creates a problem for society in dealing with fundamentalist and false beliefs, especially when they have attained cultural dominance and institutional power. And particularly when they're held to be inerrant and absolute, and those who hold them regard dissent as heresy, and those who follow available evidence as evil heretics.
A good test for this is to look at the reaction when the belief is questioned; is the questioner regarded as factually wrong or morally suspect?

The Trees are part of the Squid's Plan! (major main quest spoilers)
After spending way too long playing through the new quests in SSO, I've come up with a theory. A real long theory. That the Life Wardens are siding with both Dark Riders and Soul Riders in order to repair the Wild Weave and reconnect with one another, inadvertently helping the Dark Riders to free Garnok.
Lemme explain.
Tumblr media
This is the map in the Fort Maria portal room. It shows the seven major Life Wardens that we know of, but it also gives us some clues about the story going forwards.
First, the obvious.
Tumblr media
Yeah, there's no way that little illustration in the corner is anything but Ol' Squiddy's Tentacles. But we knew he was imprisoned between worlds, in neither Pandoria nor Jorvik - so finding out he's been chilling in the Wild Weave, or a location only accessible by it, makes sense.
Tumblr media
Next, when it comes to putting a name to each of these trees I think most are fairly self explanatory. We've known about most of these trees for years, even if they've never been a part of the story, such as with the Ice Tree by the Stonecutter's Vault in Dino Valley, and the Unnamed Tree way up near where you finish the Red String Trail in the Firgrove Mountains.
Where it gets interesting is with the two trees I couldn't place; such as the one between the Sentinel Tree in Mistfall and the Ice Tree in Dino Valley; and the one on the far left, signified by floating islands.
In my mind it makes sense to have a couple of the trees sprouting in Pandoria, since the two worlds are connected by the tree roots - and the only floating rocks I know about are in Pandoria - but who knows.
Tumblr media
Overlaying the normal map on top of these locations makes it pretty clear that they're supposed to correspond to real map locations. The only anomaly is the Ice Tree and Sentinel Tree, whose positions are reversed on the portal map.
What's interesting is that Garnok, if I'm following the map's logic correctly, would hold exactly the same positioning as the Dark Core Oil Rig.
(For context, we know the Rig's position from old skybox errors that used to show it when stood in the right spots, some maps from the books (which I know aren't always canon anymore, but hey it's the best we've got) and, most recently, if the player looks South when entering Devil's Gap, thanks to that little black hole we helped Sunshine open up recently.)
Tumblr media
Where am I going with all this? Okay!
Firstly, we know that the trees have helped the Dark Riders in the past. The Life Wardens have repeatedly said the only loyalty they have is to each other, and quite frankly after what the Jarl did, who can blame them. (Thanks Jon).
This is going into massive spoiler territory for the most recent quest as of 17/1/24 so if you haven't completed it yet, flee.
Tumblr media
The Sentinel Tree in the Wildwoods has been corrupted by Pandorian magic for a while now. But in the newest quest, we saw Sabine using the Runesmasher to break into it and create a portal to free Erissa.
Side tangent about the hammer:
Tumblr media
For those who didn't play the Halloween quests, basically one of the Jarl's servants got the ice valley smith to make a hammer that could destroy runestones, broke one open, and a Vala witch gave him immortality. Aka. Sive (or an identical Vala witch), who is deeply connected with the Life Wardens and who probably gave Sabine the hammer when we saw her in Devil's Gap, has no problem with this action.
The Life Wardens, or at the very least Sive, their ally, wanted the portal opened and Erissa freed.
Why?
To re-grow the Wild Weave.
Tumblr media
Assuming Garnok's position on my map was correct, the only way the Dark Riders now have to free him is to go directly through the Wild Weave.
And since we're good people who like nature... yeahhh the Soul Riders are totally going to end up healing some trees and inadvertently opening the path to Garnok wide open.
Tumblr media
Oh yeah. We're going to mess up royally.

I've never read the books but I've watched the show as soon as it came out and in s2 I really loved Elayne and I ended up shipping her with Rand after just one look. I know what happens in the books more or less so my question is do you think we'll have some deep interactions this season? (I think it will just be in ep one right?)
I can't wait to see them fall in love with each other and I wonder when that will happen in the show...
first of all, congratulations on having impeccable taste and correct takes haha a testament to the power of the randlayne meetcute!
in the trailer we saw a brief glimpse of elayne giving rand a pep talk about leadership, and in the books around this time there's similar stuff with elayne helping teach him about leadership and politics (though a lot of this is offscreen in the book version). and i think it looks like it's just the two of them talking in that moment, so i bet we'll get at least one good one-on-one conversation between them in 3x01 (how long it will be, i don't know, might only be a minute, but the show tends to be really good at packing solid emotional connection into even brief interactions, so i think it will feel like a meaningful interaction regardless of length!)
i would love if they get to speak again in 3x02, but i don't know! based on the episode blurbs with 3x02 saying rand and egwene are forging a new path, it sounds like this is the episode when the waste-bound travel party heads out (whereas elayne is remaining in tar valon), but i can't guess yet whether they'll head out straightaway in 3x02 or whether they'll linger in tar valon a while longer and head out later in the episode. although we do know elayne's family will be coming to town in 3x02, so elayne might be too busy with all that to have any more scenes with rand.
since it sounds like rand's emotional plate is pretty full this season with randfear and randgwene, and since he and elayne will be on separate trips for probably the rest of the season, i doubt we'll get any concrete romantic interactions for randlayne in s3. when might we start getting those interactions? that's anyone's guess! i have high hopes for s4, but i just don't know. in the books, it's quite a bit longer than that before they next see each other, but the show has proven that it's willing to move characters to a different geographic location than they were at the corresponding point in the books if they think doing so can help them tell the story more effectively (ex: mat goes to the aiel waste with rand & co in the books, but in the show he will instead be joining nynaeve and elayne's roadtrip because rafe felt there was more space for mat to have a story arc specific to him in that roadtrip than in the waste roadtrip where mat would be playing 5th fiddle to rand, moiraine, lan, and egwene). so, i can definitely imagine ways they could adjust elayne's future story to transport her into rand's location for s4 instead of her book location and let her spend solid time with him, and i hope this is the route they go, but only time will tell!

{ paranoid that an ask I sent ended up in the void, so. here goes. dismiss if you'd like, it's a shorter version of the og and I wrote I so it could be ignored as well bc Bridge ic fully expects to be brushed off lmfao-- }
Good morning/evening.
I come to extend an offer. Your immediate correspondence is not mandatory, nor is any kind of response if you feel so inclined. I recall in the past that you have mentioned having an interest in interstellar travel--ever since I first asked, in fact.
I would like to give you that opportunity. Assuming you don't have any pressing matters to attend to this Christmas, of course. Polaris should be a relatively safe trip, about 433 light years out into the Milky Way. Still within our cosmic neighborhood, easily located any time of year and is symbolic of the holiday if my research proves correct.
I will be awaiting your response. Or lack thereof.
Thank you for your time.
This was buried in spam so long that I have a feeling it's too late for that now; appreciate the offer though.
