sleepover question!!!! top 5 carb-related dishes?
Oh man we're just gonna throw me back into carb-loading pre-tournament hell
At number one we gotta go with the grilled cheese sandwich. All the best strawberry blonde hockey centers have a pre-game grilled cheese. Not just any grilled cheese, though! You need thick country bread, at least 3 cheeses (I recommend mozzarella, cheddar, and provolone), and enough butter to feed a small family. "But MJ, cheese isn't a carb!" That's where the country bread comes in. It's gotta be thiccccc.
Coming in at number two we have roasted red potatoes, particularly the ones made by one's 85-year-old blind Irish grandma. I don't know what she puts in them, but I can't have anyone else's anymore because they just make me sad they aren't hers.
At number 3 we have the humble waffle. There is no wrong time or place for a waffle. All my D&D characters love waffles. It started as a joke and I am married to a beautiful woman known as the bit.
Sneaking in at number 4 we have Brazilian cheese bread. I discovered this when a new grocery store opened near me in undergrad, and it's my new go-to mid-afternoon snack. Despite this happening several years ago, I still do not know the appropriate portions to bake.
And, naturally, we can't close out without something pasta-themed. My most controversial opinion remains that corzetti is the superior pasta shape. I think it's the Catholic in me. Throw some pesto in to go with it -- 11/10

19. the veggie you dislike the most?
I think I've talked about it before, but I have a gene that makes me super sensitive to bitterness, which means that the tiny, nigh-imperceptible bitter taste in cauliflower is the ONLY thing I can taste, and it sucks because people throw cauliflower in everything going "oh, it tastes like nothing," but not to me! So that's why it's at the top of my shit list, because it's everywhere
