it seems that not only did Russian gamers want a portable version of Counter Strike, their modding scene was at least active enough to dress up this simple game in various different flavors of Valve’s competitive shooter.
You choose what team you’re on, a map, and anywhere from 1 to 6 enemy bots to fight against. There’s a short window for you to enter the buy menu by hitting 0 and picking up what gear you can afford. From there it’s just a matter of survival!
Which one is the original? I have absolutely no idea. Yes I can see the text that says “original version” on that first image, but I can’t confirm if that’s actually the first major build of this game or if it’s the ‘original version’ of a CS1.6 themed mod or what. If anyone happens to know the history behind these, I’d love to hear it!
