Random non-fic rambling, but the tail of my Leviathan cosplay is at the point where I can wrap it around things. Before sewing the inner part, I measured the length of his tail relative to his height from various pictures, averaged them, and then scaled it down to my size. It can wrap all the way around my body two and a half times.

Now, I'm short (5'). Leviathan is probably way taller, and since the tail I made is proportionately scaled down (it's a little over 10' long), his tail would be longer and could probably definitely wrap around somebody's torso at least three times.

Do with that information as you please.

The art used for the Vingilot is from one of the Silmarillion's covers (I think it was a Chinese one but I wouldn't swear it - I still have the cover saved if anyone's interested)

Description for the Ulysses : Developed by Whitmore Industries, it is 382 Feet (116.434 meters) long, can go 18 knots, has 12 torpedo launchers in 6 external ball turrets which capable of firing explosive proximity torpedoes out of launchers that have 180 degrees of movement, and had a crew of 201 at launch! The bridge is located within a glass enclosure at the front of the ship so you can look out into the ocean like you are in an atrium. It's like an air craft carrier but a sub; it also housed 24 mini subpods and many other land terrain vehicles. It was eventually destroyed by a leviathan.

my fallen london OC! i made them by accident a few months ago and as you can tell ive very quickly developed scoundrel brainrot. it's a terminal illness for which there is no cure and the symptoms are instead of brain there is scoundrel.

in terms of actual character rundowns, their full moniker is The Bandaged Scoundrel, though i tend to call them "the scoundrel" for short. their real name is D█████, but they'd sooner die permanently than respond to or even acknowledge its existence.

they are! a bastard! a rat! a son of a b___! a motherf______! they are vain beyond your wildest imagination and they think they're the most infallible perfect being in all of existence and they have the exact attitude of a saturday morning power-hungry cartoon supervillain on cocaine.

and also, perhaps most importantly, they're Really Fucking Stupid. because of course they are.

they are resplendently awful. they are inevitably going to cause their own demise in an act of pure karmic retribution. they are a speck of dust in history that desperately keeps trying to insist they're actually a tornado. i love them dearly.
