To say I’m heartbroken by what happened with BioWare and EA regarding dragon age would be an understatement- however, at the same time, I saw it coming a million miles away.

From the development hell DA was put through, to the final result not having DLCs, to the final result also being a shadow of the previous instalments in the series in terms of writing and gameplay- it was clear to me they wanted dragon age done and finished as fast as possible.

I’m sorry, but I really didn’t like Veilguard. I loved it at first play through, and my opinion sharply declined on my second. It felt like a shadow or a mockery of the games I love. It felt like the equivalent of giving your kid sibling an unattached game controller and letting them play just to shut them up.

The game spent so long trying to be cinematic that it forgot to be good- or rather, it never had a chance to be good. It just needed to be shiny and it needed to sell. That’s the shape of all things lately- and it makes me rage and it breaks my heart.

More importantly, the people fired are going to have an incredibly hard time getting employed again. I know Trick Weeks was talking about how difficult it was to afford raising a child in Canada, and now both they and their partner are unemployed.

What EA and BioWare did to dragon age was cruel on multiple levels. I hope one day we live in a world that allows these stories to be told by people who love to tell them, who get compensated well for telling them, and in a way that is authentic to the story itself and not to any speculative market.

watching the season one finale of Ghost Whisperer was so crazy my mom was like "yeah that happened here once" and I was like huh????? so I looked it up and yeah when my mom was 11 a whole ass plane fell out of the air and crashed into a residential park. Have we ever talked about Big Baby or their sibling's alt modes? Big Baby should be a giant jet just like daddy to keep Optimus exhausted. His gigantic cuddly baby who flies out of reach and cries when no one can reach it when it gets stuck somewhere too high, the poor thing. Bring back Ultra Magnus being weird about the baby and not trusting it so being a flight frame autobot just makes him more suspicious of the nice little bitty that wants to play with grandpa

Conversely Gremlin baby should be a little truck, just to make Megatron more disappointed. He had to push out a vile little creature of a cybertronian, it was tiny and runty like an autobot, and it couldn't even fly, what was the point of having the damn thing. Like yeah he loves it but it isn't making the job easy - 🌱

YES big baby's absolutely a flier. it got its alt-mode fairly young and has been terrorizing poor optimus since. he can barely even lift his baby anymore, how tf is he supposed to keep pulling it out of trees and high beams!! he always has to call in megatron to deal with it... the first time the baby just leaps into megatron's arms and transformers mid-fall, optimus almost faints. megatron is so proud of his baby's quick thinking.

it's a pity the baby's a flier instead of its little sibling, megatron would have much preferred that.
