Sailsong was a beloved figure of Oardivia, known for her infinite patience and gentle, selfless nature. Her presence was a source of comfort for many, especially Tectonichus, who was very attached to her. During her time as speaker, she brought the colony of Oardivia into a Golden Age, always putting the well-being of Oardivia’s people before anything else.

Crosswave became leader after he led a famous battle against alien raiders that resulted in zero casualties for the Oardivians. His strength and courage was greatly admired, and for many centuries, he worked alongside Sailsong for the betterment of their people.

It’s still not known what exactly happened to cause his change in personality later on, some say he grew very fond of Sailsong but was rejected, others say his views simply changed with time, and others still suggest that some kind of alien tech altered his mind.

Regardless of what the truth could be, Crosswave suddenly turned against Sailsong, murdering her in the Grand Gatherhome.

The day she was killed was the day of The Deep’s Scream, that would be followed by many years of silence from Tectonichus.

With Sailsong out of the picture, Crosswave had complete control over the Senate, using words, charisma and intimidation to sway most of the senate to fit his new ideals. Those who refused to see his side were arrested, lost their reputation, or even killed.

For several centuries, Crosswave controlled Oardivia. He used law enforcement and the military to keep civilians in line, and delivered harsh punishments even over simple things.

A young Royal Blue would eventually work up the courage to challenge Crosswave for his position. The fight was brutal and Blue very nearly died, but he had managed to take the tyrant mech down, using his own trident against him for the finishing blow.

I caved and bought a cheap stream mop since mopping the floors is the chore I hate the most and I constantly put it off until it stresses me out even more and the floors feel awful to walk on

But I vacuumed real quick (should have done a better job) and then used the steam mop and holy shit?

Like I have a bissell crosswave also, and while it pretty great it just takes more steps than my adhd brain can handle most days so I don’t use it much (though it’s super awesome when husband dumped a full mug of hot cocoa on the carpet and it literally slurped it all up)

This though? I can definitely do this weekly

Well, I finally had the time to use my new crosswave floor cleaner.

I used vinegar even though the Bisselloids tell me I have to use their hormone disrupting solution. Why on earth would vinegar damage the inside of this machine when I can simply do a round with water at the end to rinse the inside out ?

Anyway. I filler up and it's not doing anything. The machine is on, but it literally won't work. My FIL comes in to ask how it's going and I tell him it's good I bought the 1month return at the pawn shop because it sucks ass. He says, I'll take a look. He flips it upside down and there's a piece of cardboard covering the roller brush. It's brand new! Nobody even used it and I paid half price. BUY YOUR ITEMS USED!!!!!

Anyway. He takes it off, which is funny. He's the fixer upper guy and it's always some stupid shit like that. So now I use it and yeah it cleaned the floor. Empty out the gross dirty vinegar after each room. Finish all the rooms. I start cleaning the parts, as you do after each cleaning session to make the crosswave last as long as possible. Lastly, I have to remove the roller to wash that. That was a little nasty. Pinch the tabs to remove the "roller window". Oh my GOSH the gobs of hair and bullshit caught on the comb that combs the roller, I started fucking gagging. I thought I was going to fucking throw up. I'd been wiping my feet off with a towel before getting in my bed because wearing socks grosses me out even more. This house is huge, old, full of shit and cats, and I will have to do this every week

For real, having to deal with my MILs shitty ass loud shitty floor cleaners has been a nightmare and the floor gets dirty within a day anyways. It was causing me so much stress that it was probably triggering some seizures I had. This is like the fifth and most expensive thing I have purchased now that I have a job
