The California Faculty Association is going on Strike against the California State University system!

They are fighting for:

Better pay so they can afford to live in the state they're teaching in.

More manageable workloads to allow for effective student support.

Expanded counseling services to improve students' access to mental healthcare.

All of which should be reasonable, considering:

The CSU's expendable net assets have grown from $3.3 billion in 2012, to $8.1 billion in 2022. If CSU management funded our bargaining proposals from their annual cash surpluses, they wouldn't even have to draw from these reserves.

Teachers can do the math, but CSU management is hoping you can't.

So second round let's cut down to the absolute basics that we want, ok?

- no yelling at union members and a concious effort to compliment them more

- pocket money, so we have a degree of financial independence

- Boris Johnsons head

- Sunday Afternoons off because work life balance

I strongly suspect that if you made a venn diagram of type 2 diabetes friendly foods, ibs friendly foods, and low histamine/histamine sensitivity safe foods, you would end up with very little in that center overlap

I got accepted into my transfer school of choice! I’m hoping to get accepted to the apartment nearby. This fall is gonna be challenging of starting to become an extrovert and joining clubs. After years of hiding in my room with anxiety from the world and not making my own real friends. I’ll have my associates and be working towards my bachelors with fellow programmers!

Dazu kann einem nichts mehr einfallen:

Im Angesicht des Wassermangels fordert ein hinterwäldlerischer CSU-Bürgermeister allen Ernstes eine Talsperre. Nicht, weil er um die Wasserversorgung der Bevölkerung fürchtet -auf die Idee ist er noch gar nicht gekommen-, sondern um weiterhin Floßfahrten in seiner Gemeinde durchführen zu können.

Um mal den verlogenen und heuchlerischen CDU-Schreihälsen den Wind aus den Segeln zu nehmen:

Keine Partei ist korrupter als CDU/CSU und das war auch schon immer so. Abgeordnete/r ist ein Full-Time-Job und wer so viel nebenbei arbeiten kann, vernachlässigt nicht nur die Aufgabe, für die er/sie gewählt wurde, sondern ist in der Regel auch befangen. Bemerkenswert hierbei auch, wie hoch die Balken der kleinen CSU und der kleinen FDP sind. Deutschland ist wegen der CDU das Geldwäscheparadies Europas, weil CDU/CSU (und FDP) immer gegen schärfere Regeln gegen Geldwäsche gestimmt haben, die nirgendwo sonst so lasch sind wie in Deutschland. Warum wohl?

Wieso ist Scheuer nie zurückgetreten? Wieso tritt Amthor nicht zurück? Ein Fall wie Graichen würde in der CDU gar keine Beachtung finden und in der langen Tradition mit so vielen schwerwiegenden, tatsächlichen Korruptionsskandalen untergehen und stur ausgesessen werden. Weil die CDU keinen Anstand hat. Und korrupt ist bis ins Mark.
