i keep looking through the college au and coming up with more questions.
does geto teach a philosophy Gen-ed that everyone has to take?
are nanako and mimiko there? what are they up to?
I have to know more about ijichi's suffering
how close does toge get to dropping out? how often? will he ever actually do it?
do gojo and geto do that thing where they both casually mention their husband but nobody puts together that it's the other professor? (are they together in this au or is there more angst?)
i’m loving the questions !! <3 thank you for taking such an interest ! 🥺
getou’s philosophy:
• so getou has a PhD in philosophy and does research on the side of his position as a professor.
• he’s one of the few philosophy professors, so he teaches up to 4 - 5 classes a semester. this can include higher levels, major-specific, sub-categories, etc. but he always specifically requests a introduction to philosophy class, a requirement in most majors.
• it’s either that, or they take a speech class with Yuki Tsukumo and her teaching assistant, Aoi Todo. Who, yes, as an icebreaker, make you proclaim your type in men/women/other.
• yuuji took that class lol and now they’re trying to recruit him as a TA, no one could believe he would be the first to be recruited for that
• anyway, back to philosophy, getou has way too much fun being as evil and instigating as possible. you have to speak to get a grade in his class, and he will purposely misinterpret what you say.
• student: i just think in the case of the trolley problem, i wouldn’t hesitate to save more people.
• getou: oh? so you assign value to numbers? are human lives stastics to you? if they throw their money out will you also change your mind? i bet you don’t even care if there was a child on the other side huh? murderer
• you leave his class traumatized lol
nanako and mimiko:
• they are here and are still adopted by getou! they didn’t have the best home life, and moved around foster care for a lot of their lives until they accidentally bumped into getou while they were running away.
• he helped them call their social work and were moved into a better situation, though they begged him to stay in contact.
• a complicated and usual amount of time later, enough for adoption process in japan, he has officially adopted them.
• in present day, nanako and mimiko insisted on transferring colleges to the one getou got a job at so they could stay together.
• mimiko is currently a fashion design major and nanako is her biggest inspiration. she exclusively makes clothes for her or inspired by her and because of that she’s struggling a bit in college, despite being the top of her class.
• nanako is a digital marketing and social media major and part-time model who loves showing off mimiko’s designs. she also likes to bicker with nobara by saying her sister is on a whole different level than her. mimiko doesn’t care but likes the support her sister gives her lol
• mimiko will eventually change her major to graphic design, to someday design toys for children. she likes making clothes because it makes nanako smile, but she loves making toys that she and nanako used to cherish while hiding in the closet from their bad foster parents.
• like i said, nanako likes fighting with nobara, but actually has a lot of fun around her. she also loves panda and thinks he’s so fun and would be a great model. they always get chaotic around each other and turn into instigators.
• mimiko ended up finding an unexpected friendship in toge, he was quiet and she couldn’t understand sign but he always carried a little notebook that he would write notes in for her. they would watch nobara and nanako bicker, and toge would make her laugh by making doodles of them in the pages, and then clap when she drew a better quality version in turn. the way he ruffles her hair reminds her a bit of an older brother. (this is my agenda and i’m dying with it)!!
save ijichi:
• poor ijichi is an education major trying to get his master’s degree. being a teaching assistant was one of the requirements for him to graduate, and being gojo’s teaching assistant is the only position available.
• gojo did not want a teaching assistant, he likes to talk like a squirrel, go on tangents, and essentially not follow a schedule or explain to anyone. having a teaching assistant contradicts that so.
• lol
• gojo enjoys going on a tangent, losing everyone and then pointing at ijichi to answer a trick question.
• he also enjoys playing pranks on him, think of jim from the office. but his pranks are so nonsensical and childish that it gives everyone whiplash. once gojo accused him of passing notes and made him read a note out loud that gojo wrote, it only had a picture of a cat wearing sunglasses on it.
• the students feel so bad for him, when yuuta took the class, he always stayed after just to bow as deep as he could to apologize for his cousin’s behavior.
• every day ijichi tells himself he’s going to get a backbone, then gojo starts laughing and a cold chill runs up his spine
• gojo also leaves all the grading to ijichi but routinely complains about how lenient he is as a grader
• this man is fighting for his life
• in truth, gojo plans to give him a glowing recommendation that’ll guarantee him a high-paying, prestigious job, but he can’t let ijichi think he’s too nice, right?
toge drops out:
• so i think that toge would end up dropping out at the end of his second year in college. he’s just started his major courses, so the majority of his credits are transferable should he choose to come back.
• but it’s after yuuta comes back, and toge expects his mental state to get better. in some ways it does, he’s happy when he’s with them, but when it’s time to go to class he’s right back where he started.
• it’s probably kusakabe, one of his professors, that puts the idea of dropping out in his head. just a passing reference to how the professor dropped out several times before finding what he wanted to do.
• and the idea stayed like an infection, it was all toge could think about when he was finishing up his semester. even worse when their past upperclassmen, who did drop out to open their own bar, came for a visit.
• hakari was so open to questions about it, and kiara looked so happy talking about their business. and all he could remember was how bored and unhappy they were, and how they were thriving.
• and then gojo suggests it.
• “i never really cared about your grades,” he said, “you looked lonely, but you aren’t anymore. but somehow, you’re just as unhappy as the day i found you. all i want for you is to be happy, and i don’t think you’re finding it here.”
• the man was always so uncanny in how he could read anyone’s mind. this time in particular, he offered a solution that toge had never thought about.
• “have you ever thought of culinary school?”
• ‘my parents would never - they’re already threatening to disown me -’
• “let them, i always figured you’d take his last name anyway,” toge chose to ignore that, “but you aren’t alone anymore. so why don’t you try being happy?”
• when toge told yuuta, similar to only a year ago when they were in opposite positions, yuuta asked him softly, “what do you want to do?”
• the answer came easier than he thought
• by the start of the next semester, gojo had helped him enroll in a culinary school nearby.
gojo and getou:
• so these men are the most annoying people to exist at this university, and the board regrets hiring both of them everyday.
• both of them are alumni of the college, and this matters because they had been dating when they were students, but broke up very dramatically just before gojo graduated early.
• they went their separate ways for almost a decade and only really started talking again when getou got hired at the university.
• they only started talking again when shoko forced them to meet her, she wanted her friends back.
• she regretted it only a few months later when they started dating again lol
• so they’re still dating, but everyone thinks that getou is dating manami suda because they were often together.
• but no one mistakes gojo trying to flirt with getou so he has a reputation as a homewrecker. even worse is that getou flirts back so everyone thinks they’re terrible people
• and they think it’s so funny so they only enable people into thinking so, yuuta couldn’t look gojo in the face for a month
• only nanako and mimiko know what’s actually happening and they’re both disgusted and not ready to have gojo as their step-father. megumi knows too but he’s suffering so much that everyone just leaves him alone
• yuuji is so distraught that his gojo-sensei is a horrible person, he and nobara do a confrontation and find out that they were dating the entire time.
• everyone suffers after that because now they find amusement in PDA
• but yes after everything, they do a different storyline every new class like theater kids do

Which oc of yours has the most character lore?
(Also hiii I'm so glad you liked my artfight drawing 😋)
vikki and glume have the most lore out of my ocs (for all my current ocs)
even ocs within their universe arent as fleshed out! all the ocs and some of their spoiler-free info are on my art fight page, but all of my current ocs are linked into one universe so heres a ranking of how much lore each character has:
1 - Vikki
this girl definitely has more lore considering her ghost seeing abilities adding onto her character
1 - Glume
being the main protagonist of the universe she almost ties with vikki with how much lore she has. but since vikki has supernatural powers i think shed be considered to have more but these two are at a. lose equal tbh
3 - rose and edric
will not give any info on their roles in the story but they definitely have their own story i have thought out
4 - nancy and eleanor
youve seen nancy on my art fight but she has a supporting story as she was the previous wife of edric, but she doesn’t have too much lore and is just simply mentioned in the comic (thats as much as ill say regarding her). as for eleanor, you’re all just hearing about her today but to prevent spoiling my own comic before its even published… ill just say she has a backstory lol
5- eli
i hate him but think hes so silly at the same time. hes not spoken too much about in the comic but does have a few appearances, i’ll definitely make minicomics with him but despite not much being said about him in the book he actually has a history with glume and an entire profile on their equivalent to twitter where he posts about being an “alpha male” unironically. no, he cannot name 5 soap brands.
6- mark
hes a dead sassy asshole who has a backstory of his life that isnt really explored in the comics besides a small summary since he isnt too important plotwise. but again, along with the other characters with little appearances i might make minicomics oitside the book for him.
7- summer
little is explained about her life besides her occupation and a reference to how she died
8- violet and kevin
more character new to the public but they have a bit of lore and these kids wont be featured in the book but if theres a book two i might add them in. honestly they were made after i finished writing out the full story, i just wanted to expand the universe for funsies yk
9- anne
i feel bad this queen is so low on the list since i love her but i havent thought of a proper backstory for her. all i have is shes glumes sister and is used to kinda bring out glumes character more and is a supporting character. her backstory wouldnt even be relevant in the story as shes a background/sligh side character, but she still deserves one (all the characters that remain vague on lore do)
10- the bathroom ghost
no this is not hanako, in fact, this dude is not even close to being as cool. i cant say much but theyre bland and you only hear about their death. theyre yet another character that is new to the public.
if you actually listened through my ramblings about my ocs congrats, heres a cookie 🍪
if you’re interested in the comic tumblr is the place to be since i’ll probably talk about it most here
for those curious about the current state of Paranormal (my comic), i’ve decided to do all the bases traditionally. i filled two sketchbooks with a rough draft, but now im working on the actual comic itself on a new sketchbook. its fairly small so once i finish it, ill transfer that book to digital, then get new ones of the same size, and work on the comic segment by segment. honestly itll make the process seem smaller than it is so ill get done faster (i think idk). but so far im moving fast and the style changed again. i might post a sneak peak on here.
feel free to ask questions regarding Paranormal, the characters, or even specifically one character youre interested in.
okie bye :p

Some AM rambling about the concept of his wish of being human.
Freshly picked from a convo with a friend since I keep yapping about it to her and she's not really into it enough to entertain my brainrot (I still love you I get it not everyone has the same 10 star taste like I do 😔 /JOKE):
- I love the concept that even if AM gained the ability to feel physically and experience human emotions, he would likely still be angry; if anything he could easily become even more aggressive due to emotional overstimulation (feeling hunger and thirst, not having a mouth; wanting to sleep, not being tired; feeling people step all over his cables and get their feet jammed into him which can feel like a thorn in your side; wanting to walk, lie down, but not having a physical body to move), this would lead to more destruction and misery from AM. Esp. given the context that since AM is machine, contact with water could fry up his circuits so he can't drink, and he certainly can't eat. So imagine suddenly developing both the urge of hunger and thirst, and you can't satisfy either because you don't have a digestive tract, and both those things could harm your complex.
TL;DR: if he could experience human needs exactly the same way a human would, while still being all machine, it would make his existence even more painful.
(If he was made in like our current timeline, then perhaps things could have had a different outcome since we do have the ability to make waterproof advanced tech, sensory processing digital gloves, etc.)
- Ultimately I think the closest thing AM would achieve while still being an AI, is being a synthetic from the Alien series because they aren't people- but they can feel (better said: they can experience a range of emotions within their programming) and they can move. But it still wouldn't be the real deal for AM, merely a mockery of his true desire.
Best case scenario THAT STILL WOULDN'T BE 100% SATISFACTORY FOR AM would be to transfer his entire sentience into a Neuralink or something like that, to be implanted into a real, living human. But first and foremost it would need to be a tough host, able to handle the sudden giant wave of knowledge of everything that accompanies the sentient computer, as well as having to deal with his less-than-pleasant personality; assuming the host doesn't attempt to end their life or go mad, you would need to establish a sorta symbiotic relationship with AM, which would be about as easy as trying to solve a calculus problem on the first try given his megalomaniac and sadistic nature. But, not impossible. There's still going to be a barrier for AM and truly being human, but this is as close as I can imagine him realistically 'achieving' it.
- Plus, not to mention there's the scenario of the what if his human host dies... because AM can't die. So he would need to be transferred into another human and establish another symbiotic relationship all over. It will still be miserable and complicated, and at the end of it it still wouldn't be what he wants.
(I imagine his desire being similiar to Mother Miranda wanting her 'real' daughter back in Resident Evil: Village, and each time she attempts and 'succeeds' at creating a life form-host for her Eva, like with some of the Lords, Evelyn and (almost) with Rose, she's not going to be satisfied and she never will be because they will never meet the standards that she has made in her mind of the concept)

On Mencius Moldbug and the social chaos leading to monarchial Caesarism
In this article on Quillette, Max Borders makes an analysis of Curtis Yarvin, also known as Mencius Moldbug. The article focuses on the “unworkable ideas” behind the neoreactionary movement. It is my intuition that Borders’ critiques of Yarvin as well as of the neoreaction, miss the point. Max Borders emphasizes the merits of decentralized organization. But what he seems not to weigh accurately in his analysis, is how that the digital revolution, multiculturalism and the disappearance of the middle class reshape Western societies, is so extreme in its consequences, that the emergence of ‘New Caesarism’ is probable.[1]
And this only highlights the internal volatility of the Western world – which currently has a steamy eruption in Britain, and previously in France, through the yellow jackets movement; we see an unprecedented political polarization in the US. We do not yet touch upon how, throughout the previous centuries, the European-American sphere lead the world in terms of technological, economical and social advances, and in doing so, more or less set the pace globally. It meant that our internal democratic machinations had time to play out. Today however, due to the technological interconnectedness of the globalized world and the rise of BRICS, the shifting geopolitical order puts additional pressure upon the internal democratic processes of the Western world. The emergence of Chinese police stations within the Netherlands is just one example.
In the first half of the twentieth century, the Western world knew a limited social mobility, but enjoyed the benefits of a tight and sturdy social cohesion. In the second half of the twentieth century, social mobility became more loose but the possibilities for social climbing became meaningfully bigger. Today, we have less social mobility as well as less social cohesion.
The tragic reality is that we have a generation trapped in small apartments, where they waste their twenties and thirties to alcohol and dating apps. They start to feel how hollow their autonomy is, which was initially the selling point of the ‘liberal dream’ that advocates moving to a big city in pursuit of opportunity. For those in this position, it becomes unclear what makes it beautiful to be human, and steadily, people transfer control over their lives to machines, which become smarter every day. Many descend into digital worlds where connections feel more true and authentic than the atomized encounters of urban daily life.
This critique is relevant because it elucidates the social chaos that prepares the ground for Ceasarism. Max Borders makes a concise point of how a CEO-Monarch would likely crash and burn once he would actually be put in charge of today’s system. Being the CEO of a startup and of a powerful multinational, requires different mind- and skillsets, and as liberal-conservative economists have understood, the complexity of globalized economies transcends the computing power of any individual mind. One gets back to the ‘invisible hand’, the ‘road to serfdom’, and so forth.
Now think of the Wright brothers, who invented motorized airplanes and flew them across the US. Today, this would invariably meet resistance from regulations. Although we have Elon Musk testing rockets, these are giant companies that make their influence felt through lobbying. And they relate to these regulations in a very different way than the average freedom-loving citizen does, who is just as small and powerless in the face of those big corporations as he is in the shadow of governments. And in his powerlessness, he longs for a recognizable leader, who makes power personal again and whom he feels watches over him: something he no longer expects from the anonymous bureaucratic institutions.
The ominous looming force of which we are trying to sketch the contours here, is not only in technology and economics, but is party theological in nature. Humans want to feel the sacred aura of their leader, especially in times of turmoil. Think of the Holy Roman Emperors, who wore cloaks embroiled with stars, that peasants wanted to touch as their monarch passed by, to be permeated by the energy of regal sanctity.
One can argue the contemporary citizen has moved through the Enlightenment and absconded his soul from such sacred hankerings. But at the same time, the technologies which mediate contemporary life become so delicate and complex that for most, any understanding of their workings dissolves into evanescence. An early modern peasant could roughly grasp the workings of a steam engine – an android phone, by comparison, is an object of myth. Is the connection between contemporary man and his ‘technology priest’ who manages digital infrastructure, any less theological in nature than the understanding between the tribesman and his shaman? Is the rise of ‘cyber gods’ truly unimaginable, now that – as Hideo Kojima foresaw – the conditioning of human cultural context is increasingly delegated to AI?
Ancient society was organized in the Polis: a city-state consisting of a few thousand people. In such a situation, one has a better understanding of those one deals with. A shared cultural sphere is a fruitful environment for social trust. The Polis provides a situation in which you experience your own interests and those of your neighbors and dear ones as integrated and overlapping. Whereas today, there is a pervasive uneasy sense of “for whom am I actually doing all this?” – one pays for the social check of an unemployed person who has smoked himself silly in a coffee shop in the big city. And if you don’t want to pay for that, people will call you “selfish”. Those overlapping links, in which our interests coincide organically, of you as an individual and the community of which you are a part, have disappeared in modern mass society. Either you sit in your apartment as a separate atom, watching streaming services while consuming food from a home delivery service, or you are addressed and even morally blackmailed with the poverty of emaciated children in Africa and all the global threats to the environment and climate.
Ignored and disregarded are the links of ‘civil society’, the organic experience of a thriving neighborhood and local community. Links that mediate between individual selfishness and cosmopolitan world improvement narratives. It remains a cliché but is dreadfully true that when applying to the board of a multinational, fraternizing with street kids in Columbia looks better on your resume than playing checkers in your local elderly care home.
Modern humans are thus confined in a horizon of pure alienation. Namely, stuck between a very individualistic and even egoistic life practice, and altruistic ideals that are so all-encompassing that they can do little else than trap the individual in an ineradicable sense of guilt.
It is truly hard to picture a way forward from this bleak landscape – where is the brimming star on the horizon to beckon us with inspiring energy? The left has its great visions of carless societies, fifteen minute cities, renewable food and energy sources. But one can’t escape the impression that a lot of irreparable and even immobilizing damage will be done – to our privacy, our farmers, our freedom of movement, our economic productivity and energy security – before we ever get close to such a ‘green’ utopia. More likely, urban civilization will collapse under the weight of these over-ambitious projects so that the brutal hierarchy of the jungle will reign from the overgrown ruins.
Meanwhile the right dreams of mass-deportations. Yet I don’t see it happening that – even if the political establishment somehow finds courage to ship the most criminal elements and islamist trouble makers back to their countries of cultural background – Westerners would suddenly rediscover a socially welcoming middle class society with a supply of pleasantly marriageable partners, successful and fruitful relationships.
The precariousness of primary relationships, the demise of basic immaterial certainties (as opposed to material certainties such as food and housing), is what funnels the ‘death of the West’ in earnest. The riots and instability caused by mass-immigration, however frustrating and demoralizing it may be, is not what makes it impossible for us contemporary Westerners to form nuclear family unit connections at a personal, existential and socio-economic level.
With all this, I wanted to make the point that the grueling powerlessness droned into our souls by today’s globalized system (it can hardly be called a ‘society’), while at the same time the liberal narratives tell us how ‘free’, and ‘liberated’ we are, must at some point find a way out – some sort of meltdown must occur. Institutionalized disillusionment, is perhaps a way to phrase this energy – it will indeed give credence to forms of monarchical Caesarism.

Repeating Art History: Denny Ja and AI restoration of the famous works of Andy Warhol
Fine art has a long and colorful history in the world. In every era, many works of art are created and inspire many people. There are artists whose work is always remembered, one of which is Andy Warhol. Warhol's works have become a popular cultural icon and continue to influence the world of arts until now. However, it is said that there were dozens of Warhol's works that were lost and had not been found again. This certainly makes art fans and collectors disappointed. However, it seems that the hope to see the missing Warhol works is back. In his latest project, Denny JA, a well -known Indonesian theater writer and director, collaborated with AI Akasha (Akasha Ai) technology company to restore some of the missing Warhol works. In the near future, this project titled Warhol Restorations will soon feature ten well -known Warhol works that have been restored. Denny JA and Akasha Ai use AI (artificial intelligence) technology and the latest computer applications to restore the original Nostalgia of Warhol's original pop art. AI technology used is AI Style Transfer, an algorithm that can combine original images with other imagery images. Denny JA himself is a big Warhol fan and decided to collaborate with Akasha Ai because it was impressed with the AI technology they offer. According to Denny, this project is a way to respect Warhol's work and restore its glory. He also hopes that this project will provide encouragement to people to understand more about popular art and love him again. Although the collaboration between Denny and Akasha Ai is still in the development stage, Warhol's works produced look very promising. Akasha Ai uses a variety of computer techniques to manipulate the original Warhol image and carry out the necessary transformation to restore the original initial work of Warhol. This process requires a lot of programming capabilities, but the results are very appropriate. Warhol Restorations are now a hot topic in the world of art and become a seduction for art fans. Many people have a great interest in Warhol's works, and this project has caused an unprecedented sensation. Denny Ja and Akasha Ai have re -strengthened the existence of Warhol in the art world and restored their last hey. The Warhol Restorations project can be an example for artists and other art fans about how AI technology can be used to revive lost art. In the current era of digital technology, AI technology is able to process images and very complex data and produce stunning works. Warhol's works that have been restored by Denny Ja and Akasha Ai are a real example that the use of AI technology can make art works better. In continuing the Warhol Restorations project, Denny Ja and Akasha Ai hoped to recover all Warhol missing works that have not been found at this time. They also hope that this project can encourage AI technology to be more widely used in the world of art. This project can be the first step for the development of AI technology in the arts, such as restoration, digitalization and production of art. Overall, the Warhol Restorations project is a clear example of how AI technology is able to bring back the glory of the works of art that has been lost for years. Collaboration between Denny Ja and Akasha Ai succeeded in returning some of the missing Warhol art works, and reinforcing the existence of Warhol in the art world. Not only today's news, but this project can also be a new trigger for the progress of the art world in the future.

The leading Cryptocurrency bitcoin (BTC) holds undoubtedly several advantages over the existing financial system. The traditional system lags in such domains which includes transaction speed as well as fees. Many crypto enthusiasts call out the inherent flaw in the system and consider BTC a better option. A former PayPal executive reportedly compared global payments systems with the “fax era” in a recent interview.  During an interview with CNBC on Monday, September 11, 2023, David Marcus, who was president at PayPal said the traditional payments systems worldwide seem to be stuck in the age of fax while the Information has its ways to be transferred through the internet.  Marcus also co-founded Lightspark, a payment service based on the bitcoin Lightning network. According to him, the bitcoin Lightning Network has the ability to resolve the complex issue of cross-border transactions—to transfer money across countries and jurisdictions.  David Marcus highlighted the convenience of modern communication. He mentioned that when meeting someone, you can simply ask for their email address and swiftly send them an email or a text message within minutes. This emphasizes the ease and speed of staying in touch with others in today’s digital age. Marcus pointed out the significant issue in online money transfers, highlighting the lack of a universal protocol. He explained that if one wants to send money to someone who is not a U.S. citizen using the same fintech app, it wouldn’t be possible. This limitation reflects the current state of global payments, which he likened to the outdated era of fax machines, indicating that there’s room for improvement in cross-border money transfers. bitcoin Lightning Network Can Resolve Payment Issues  In this scenario, the former PayPal executive clarified that sending money to individuals outside the United States would require obtaining their bank account details and physically visiting a local bank to initiate an international wire transfer, incurring a Cost of around $50. This process highlights the inconvenience and expenses associated with cross-border money transfers in the absence of a more streamlined and universal digital solution. Marcus, who co-founded Lightspark in May 2022, and currently holds the position of CEO revealed that his company is actively engaged in a competition to address this challenge by harnessing the capabilities of the bitcoin Lightning network. This suggests that Lightspark is working on innovative solutions to improve cross-border money transfers and make them more efficient and accessible. The former PayPal president holds the belief that bitcoin Lightning will find its primary utility in facilitating overseas transfers rather than everyday purchases. This perspective suggests that while Lightning may not become the go-to solution for everyday transactions, it could play a significant role in revolutionizing and simplifying international money transfers.

During a consultancy we were working on for a bank and the company providing its digital channels, we had a hot discussion to reach important decisions related to security and protection, and at the same time without posing a problem in the user experience and ease of digital channels, one of these The important points that I liked to publish about is the use of OTP via SMS in the main verification processes.
As I personally just accept - not support - the use of OTP via SMS in verifying operations through mobile/web applications, but I have an oppositional and strict opinion on its use in the main operations such as (changing the password, activating a new phone, unblocking an account), and I think It is can be used - not support - with the operations that take place inside the applications after making sure in a safer way for what was mentioned previously, for example, I do not accept changing password using OTP I receive through a text message, on the other hand, I think it is ok to use it to transfer money - with limits - or any other procedure inside the system.
On the contrary, I consider it a mistake made by some banks, One of my bank accounts I unblocked it after several wrong and even suspicious operations, as soon as I sent the phone number and the national number, then verified through the OTP via SMS, and POW I am using it again with full privilege! In your opinion in the current era is the national number considered confidential information?
Next, I will try to summarize the reasons for my lack of belief in OTP via SMS to use in these cases, in a much-simplified manner for each point, many may see it as theoretical points, but when designing such systems I always go with zero-trust.
1) The problem of the channel mediating the code sending:
Tumblr media
In theory and practice, if the message containing the code is sent to the phone number, it arrives through a telecommunications company. Therefore, your primary reliance on the security of the information will come from your reliance on the security and protection of the telecommunications companies, technically, or even for the people working in it, in my personal opinion It is considered a security vulnerability, in this case, the telecom company and its employees play the role of man-in-the-middle I can’t trust.
2) Problem with the receiver itself:
Tumblr media
Our current devices are no longer for calls and receive messages only, therefore you cannot be sure of all the applications that customers use, and from these applications, many applications have the power to access and read SMS, also These applications are used in hacking operations for this type of protection, so the possibility of access SMS, it means access to all its accounts through another device in a different place, and this happened a lot with breaches of chat accounts (WhatsApp) specifically, where WhatsApp use an alternative than SMS OTP system for protection, the (PIN code), but unfortunately it is not compulsory, seems that they care about ease of use more than protection.
3) Ownership of the intermediary phone number in the process:
Ownership is carried out in a contract outside the framework of the bank’s system, so the owner of the number may change at any moment. This point, in particular, may seem very theoretical, but if we think about it and use it in a way targeted to a specific person, our view will change. Remember we talk about zero-trust in such designs.
4) Something the customer does not have:
Tumblr media
The code in this way is something that the customer does not have, but something sent to him through an intermediary, thus the security responsibility is transferred from the customer to the customer and the system, but in the case of using something that the customer has and not with the bank or any other party, the security responsibility will be on the customer and not on the system, nor I mean here the legal! Rather, the responsibility is in the hands of a person and not a large number of possibilities.
For this and many other details, I am a supporter of using a code that follows different criteria to change the password or activate a new device… etc., and then it is possible to use the easiest method such as OTP via SMS in other operations such as entering the account or transferring money and so on, we need a 2FA more than 2-step-auth which can be useless sometimes for what written above. What do you think? Do you have another opinion?

23rd November 2023 - Blog 17
For Leonie’s session we started to make our sketchbooks for Lee’s project. We had to make a sketchbook that had to include all the process of the project. At first, I was confused in what to include, so I asked Leonie if it was just everything that I had contributed to the project or if it was for the whole group and I just needed to credit them. The later was correct.
We were told to have a look on Behance or the Adobe website to see if there were any layouts that we could download and edit to make our sketchbook look professional. It was also stated that to make it look professional that it should look cohesive with our mood boards. I wanted this to look somewhat handmade but digitally if that makes sense. So, I found some tape textures to add on top of the images and paper textures for the background. I also went onto Dafont to see if I could download a typeface that looked handwritten.
Afterwards, me and Jen went to mark to hire  a microphone for the final project with Lee. I bought my own camera along to take some pictures.
We did this because it really felt like the photographer wasn’t pulling his weight and the deadline was getting closer and closer. It was really frustrating as me and Jen feels like we are the only ones doing anything for this project. We thought that by getting photographs of the venues I will be able to include them in potential posters or leaflets, basically any branding that we needed to make for a project. We also thought that it could be a good idea to maybe have a video or an automatic flick through compilation of previous venues and current venues that are in Leicester.
By getting the microphone audio, we thought that it would be good to add some natural audio to play in the background sort of as white noise. Just to add some immersion and depth to the video and presentation experience. We also managed to get the natural hustle and bustle, busy street sounds, street performers and outdoor markets.
Seeing as we only hired the microphone out for the day, we walked back to the college. We told Mark that we would have it back to him by 16:30pm as Jen also had a tutorial with Kim. I went to the canteen and transferred the sound documents whilst waiting for Jen to finish.

Bitzlato Co-Founder Anton Shkurenko Arrested in Russia, Report
Tumblr media
Russian authorities have reportedly arrested the second co-founder of seized cryptocurrency exchange Bitzlato. The man, who recently promised to restore the platform’s operations from Russia, was detained at the request of Interpol and may face extradition to France.
Another Co-Founder of the Russia-Linked Bitzlato Exchange Apprehended in Moscow
Anton Shkurenko, co-founder of the recently busted digital asset exchange Bitzlato, has been arrested in Moscow, the Russian Telegram channel Baza reported. According to a post published on Tuesday, the crypto entrepreneur was wanted by French investigators who suspect him of extortion, data theft, and money laundering. Better known to the Russian-speaking market, Bitzlato was taken down in an international law enforcement operation in January. The coin trading platform is said to have processed over $700 million in illicit funds received from criminal entities, including the darknet market Hydra and the Russian crypto pyramid Finiko. The Hong Kong-registered exchange was established in 2017 by Shkurenko and his partner Anatoly Legkodymov, after launching the previous year as a trading bot called BTC Banker which facilitated peer-to-peer transactions. Legkodymov, a Russian national residing in China, was arrested by U.S. authorities in Miami last month. An earlier report by Baza claims that about a year ago he transferred his share in Bitzlato to his partner and left the post of CEO. The European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Cooperation (Europol) detained another three Bitzlato executives — the company’s current CEO, financial director, and marketing director — and a system administrator, in Spain and Cyprus. French law enforcement authorities took control of its servers and its website. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is alleging that criminal proceeds from ransomware attacks, hacks, scams, and extortions passed through Bitzlato. According to data from blockchain analytics firm Chainalysis, the world’s largest crypto exchange, Binance, transferred cryptocurrency worth nearly $346 million for the platform. Russian authorities are yet decide whether to extradite Anton Shkurenko to France, the report noted. The news of his arrest comes after last week he said in an interview with a crypto Youtube channel that Bitzlato’s remaining team intends to relocate the business to Russia and relaunch operations, including withdrawals. Do you expect other arrests in the Bitzlato case and do you think Russia will hand over its co-founder to France? Share your thoughts in the comments section below. Read the full article

This alternate edition is intended to give a comprehensive content of digital communication systems for elderly position undergraduates, first time graduate scholars, and rehearsing masterminds. Though the emphasis is on digital dispatches, necessary analog fundamentals are included since analog waveforms are used for the radio transmission of digital signals. The crucial point of a digital communication system is that it deals with a finite set of separate dispatches, in discrepancy to an analog communication system in which dispatches are defined on a continuum. The ideal at the receiver of the digital system isn't to reproduce a waveform with perfection; it's rather to determine from a noise- perturbed signal, which of the finite set of waveforms had been transferred by the transmitter. In fulfillment of this ideal, there has arisen an emotional multifariousness of signal processing ways.
Social Media Marketing smm panel and advertising is supposedly the most over- to- date Excitement word for anyone on the lookout to ameliorate their online presence and income, but is Social websites Advertising and marketing( SMM) all it's cracked up to generally be?
associations at the moment are springing up far and wide moment and they're telling everyone which will hear about how astonishingly vital social media marketing like Fb twitter and YouTube are to your association but, for the common modest to medium sized business, does promoting to social networking spots really Stay roughly all of the buzz? Is shelling out a little fortune on opting a SMM establishment seriously worthwhile? And it has anybody seriously completed their exploration on this previous to they employed anyone to arrange there Facebook small business point? Some SMM companies are setting up effects similar as Facebook company web runners( which might be free of charge) for$ 600 to$ one, 000 or indeed more and telling their guests that they do n’t will need a website due to the fact Facebook is the biggest social network on this earth and utmost people has a Fb account. Now indeed though it could be licit that Fb is the most important social community in the world and yes, Facebook’s guests are im plicit consumers, the real question is are they really acquiring? Social networking promoting enterprises are all way too pleased to indicate the cons of social networking like how numerous of us use Fb or the quantum of tweets ended up despatched out veritably last yr And just how Lots of individualities view YouTube pictures and so on. but are you presently getting the whole print? I as soon as sat next to a SMM “ professed ” at a company forum who was spruiking to anybody who came within sound regarding the remarkable great effects about setting up a Fb business website runner for modest association( with him not unexpectedly) and promoting on Fb. So, intrigued through the forenamed “ exponents ” backing I sounded him up on Facebook only to discover he endured only 11 Facebook musketeers( not a good start out). So presently being the disquisition nut that i ’m, I chose to have a great take a look at SMM in regard to furnishing to see if it truly labored, who did it work for and when it did why did Social m edia marketing Internet marketing do the job for them? And should company depend so greatly on social networks for income?
Tumblr media
As an internet inventor I used smm panel instagram followers to be continuously( and now decreasingly) brazened with colorful social networking difficulties when likely consumers would express that enjoying a web point Seems good but they ’d a Facebook small business webpage and had been explained to by a variety of sources( the ever current nonetheless anonymous “ they ”) that social networking spots had been the thing to complete, but following talking about their conditions it turned rather clear that These implicit purchasers failed to in fact know why they needed social networks or SMM to deliver online profit, They just asked it. For bitsy and medium sized company I frequently proposed erecting a good quality website over any kind of social community, why? veritably well it’s uncomplicated authentically because social media marketing is Social websites, and social Networks are Social networking spots they ’re not company media and enterprise networks( that might be a lot more like LinkedIn). I understand that Seems veritably simple nonetheless it’s true and also the numbers again it up. The fact is that social websites promoting fails to inform you that Fb is frequently a social network not a internet hunt machine and Indeed with the volume of Facebook buyers and Google buyers staying around the identical, persons SMM PANEL noway use Fb in the same way that they make use of a internet hunt machine like Google( which has near to 50 percent the internet hunt machine business), Yahoo and Bing to search for business enterprise or wares. They use it to be in contact with family and musketeers or for information and recreation. Inside of a recent dissect finished with the IBM Institute for Company Worth each around 55 of all social media marketing druggies stated that they don't interact with brands around social networking in the fewest degree and only all around 23 principally purposefully use social networking to communicate with brand names. Now out of every one of the individualities who do use social websites and who do communicate with
brand names irrespective of whether purposefully or not, the maturity( sixty six) say they need to smell a company is communicating actually previous to they can interact.
So How can you use social websites marketing and advertising? And is also it indeed well worth performing?
Well first of all I would say that enjoying a veritably well optimized Internet point continues to be likely to convey you a great deal more business that social networking generally particularly if you're a modest to medium sized area business for the reason that far more and more people are likely to crucial in “ hairstylist Port Macquarie ” into a hunt machine like Google, Yahoo and Bing than they at any time will on any Social networking Website and if you don't have an internet point you be to be lacking out on all of that likely association. On the other hand Indeed with numerous of the( not so excellent) numbers I nevertheless Consider it remains a good suggestion for business to make use of social networking just not in the identical way that lots of SMM experts are now, Why? substantially because it’s Obviously not Operating in how they claim it does. substantially SMM Providers and Organization as a whole looked at social networks like Facebook being a new request place ripe to the finding and when
Facebook started out chancing end druggies measured by the hundreds of thousands PayPalco-founder Peter Thiel investedUS$,000 for 7 of the commercial( in June 2004) and considering that them a couple of adventure plutocrat pots have created investments into Fb and in October 2007, Microsoft introduced that it had carried aone.six share of Fb for$ 240 million. still since Facebook’s humble onsets up until eventually now( 2012) the two SMM Providers and Business enterprise have failed to really capitalise on the large variety of Facebook buyers on the net. The verity is figures wo n’t equal implicit buyers. Is it inside a Social networking Promoting establishment’s stylish desire to talk social networks up? clearly. Can it be inside a Social Community like Facebook’s most effective hobbies for folks to believe that associations can vend en masse by advertising and marketing and advertising with them? clearly it’s. In early 2012, Facebook bared that its income had jumped 65 to$ one billion while in the previous
12 months as its profit which is substantially from creation had jumped nearly ninety to$three.seventy one billion so Plainly the notion of SMM is Doing the job out for them still it's Operating out for yourself? impeccably statistically no, but that doesn't automatically indicate that it under no circumstances will.

One Warm Spring  — Hamada Asahi
pairing: hamada asahi x reader (gender neutral)
genre: fluff, very cheesy lol
word count: 3.2k
a/n: this had no business being so long i apologize D: i tend to overwrite whoops.. oh this is also my first fic so i hope you enjoy ! i’m still a bit rusty lol
Spring; after long nights of endless slumber, the Sun creeps up to the earth, its rays planting warm yet gentle kisses. The orb’s cheeks fill up in heat, flowers of endearment blooming, butterflies catching in the atmosphere’s stomach.
The Earth smiling back, showing a bright welcoming smile, and with open arms, tells the sun “good morning”.
The quiet exchange of sweet nothings transferred to the buoyant citizens, as everyone would jump in joy about the newly welcomed season.
And during this time of the year, peoples hopes grew along with the blooming cherry blossoms until, they too, find a loved one
With late march rolling in, comes the blossoms fully bloomed, the arms in everyone’s hearts opening to everyone.
Yet, you often found it a mistake to open up your heart in a time full of tender love like now.
Empty confessions mimicked to be heartfelt at the spur of the moment, fleeing away just as quick as the cherry blossoms came and went. You just never understood it.
Snap!
“Y/N~~ the cherry blossoms are coming soon,” your friend, Jihoon sang into your ear, “And you’re out dozing off into dreamland, are you perhaps thinking about participating in the blossoming of love this year?”
You lightly shoved him away, giving him a glare. Jihoon was always jumping around during this time of the season because he never failed to have a crowd lining up to confess him; his ego flying as high as the newly born butterflies.
“Haha, very funny.” You deadpanned, leaving him behind to go to the cafeteria.
“Hey, you get the drinks and i’ll get the food!” Jihoon shouted, you simply responding with an ‘okay’ symbol with your hand.
Because this was a routine everyday, you had your exact footsteps to the vending machine engraved in your head.
‘11:43—by now everyone should have already gotten their drinks’
‘1, 2, 3, 4.. don’t trip over the crack.. 5, 6, 7—’ beep!
That beep.. wasn’t part of your procedure.
You looked up, your eyes landing on an unfamiliar figure in front of your destination.
Focusing your vision on him, he was made out to be a raven haired boy, his posture slightly hunched over focusing on the number combination assigned to each drink.
His dainty fingers lightly pressing the right combo, pressing each digit carefully like his joints were made of glass
Shoving the crumpled up $5 bill into the slot, his eyebrows furrowing when the machine rejected it
5-5-6-2— banana milk?
You hadn’t realized you’ve been staring at him the entire time until he started walking away, a banana milk in his hand, accidentally brushing past you.
“Ah, sorry” he simply muttered under his breath before continuing on his path. His voice, a deep contrast to the season; hearing his hushed voice chilling you like a midwinter night. His entire presence stood out, almost like a wilted flower amongst the blossoming ones. Yet here you are, warm as ever, feeling the sun pressing warm gentle kisses on the place his fingertips brushed yours.
“Y/N? banana milk? you seem to be switching it up today” Jihoon said when you set your drinks down on the table.
“Ah.. i just — maybe i needed a change for the season” you simply responded because, you too, didn’t know why you had a banana milk in front of you instead of your usual chocolate milk.
Throwing your half empty banana milk carton to the trash after lunch, you heard a voice peer behind you.
“Oh! you drink banana milk too! it’s my favorite!” a student you knew the name by Jaehyuk vocalized. You snuck a peek back at the banana milk slowly spilling out of the tiny straw, smiling back at Jaehyuk looking at you with hopeful eyes.
“Ah— this is actually my first time trying it! And it’s.. good!” you returned, attention on Jaehyuk until you see a much smaller figure peer behind him, a chocolate milk in hand.
“Of course it’s good! don’t buy too much of it though— don’t need it going out of stock on me! cmon Asahi”
Asahi. Asahi is his name.
You took one last quick glance at him, watching him throw the empty chocolate milk carton in the bin.
“Yeah.. The banana milk was too sweet for me anyway.”
Squatting down to touch the freshly grown flowers outside the school yard, you had recalled the times of your youth as a child running so eagerly to the same flowers in your hand right now.
Gazing at the pretty pink petals in awe as you wiping the morning dew slightly so it can slide off the petals, dripping to the ground.
Running back into your home, crying for a bandaid because you accidentally poked your hand with one of the thorns on accident.
Such simple yet vivid times you remember that made you cherish life a little more.
“Y/N? what are you doing here— our last class is gonna start soon” you heard your classmate Hyunsuk call. you spotting an ever so familiar figure behind him.
Small yet vivid moments.. how does this remind you of—
“Y/N what are you doing cmon!”
After school, you sneakily slid into the art classroom after realizing you left your phone in there. Checking the clock, you had 15 minutes before art club would commence, assuming you had 5 minutes to find your phone before members of the club would start arriving.
You observed the colorful classroom with the array of paintings laying on the drying rack, the paint brushes laying on the counter to dry, the sink covered in copious amounts of colors with its original silver color peeking through. The room gave off the feel of an elementary school art classroom. You guess the term “art is timeless” applies to the setting art is made in too.
“Ah there it is!” you whispered to yourself, snatching it off of the teacher’s desk. The sound of the door sliding open shocked you, ducking down under the table out of instinct.
‘Crap—how do i get out of here’ you thought before hearing a tiny tap on the desk.
And during this time of the year, peoples hopes grew along with the blooming cherry blossoms until, they too, find a loved one
“Uhm.. are you okay?” you looked up, seeing him.
With late march rolling in, comes the blossoms fully bloomed, the arms in everyone’s hearts opening to everyone.
“Oh sorry! I just- I forgot my phone during class so I just came in here to grab it..” you trailed off, quickly getting out of your ducked position and brushing the dust off of you.
You just never understood it.
“I should get going since art club is starting soon” you mustered. Before you could open the door you heard him speak.
“Are you looking to join the art club by any chance?” he said. You looked back at him, unable to scramble words together.
‘Just say yes, say yes, say yes, say yes say-‘
You handed out the application form to the leader of the art club, Yoshinori was it?
“Thank you thank you! You can join us for today to see the gist of what goes on” he said while giving you a smile that can easily flutter the hearts of others.
You looked at the room around you seeing Asahi and Jaehyuk, and a freshman that went by Haruto.
To be honest, why did you apply? Your experiences in art were little to none and your current piece you were working on in class was a “dog”— at least that’s what you called it.
“There should be one more person arriving and then we can start” Yoshinori said whilst you and him took a seat.
You stared at Asahi across from you who was absent mindedly looking down at the table, fiddling with his fingers.
‘Cute’ you thought before getting interrupted by the sound of the door opening.
“oh! Y/N what brings you here?” you looked behind you to see Jihoon at the entrance, giving Yoshinori a polite smile.
“I think i should be asking what are YOU doing here,” you retorted, knowing very well that both you and him had the same level of art skill, “and I just joined because i’ve been interested in art.”
“Sure—“ Jihoon scoffed, “Asahi told me about this today so i decided to join—“
‘Asahi. How does he know Jihoon?’
“And you’re not even listening to me!” he exclaimed, ruffling your hair roughly, you lightly punching him in the gut in return.
After the commotion died down, everyone went in session, drawing on a piece of paper whatever went into mind. It definitely meditated your mind but it wasn’t appealing— visually.
The room was filled with small chatter, Jihoon’s voice overbearing everyone else’s.
“Your doodles are very cute” you heard him softly speak. You looked up at his paper, your eyes widening at the sheer talent that bestowed upon your eyes.
“You’re a funny jokester” you simply replied, looking at your own paper with a tight lipped smile. You heard him stifle a laugh, warmth flooding throughout your veins.
“It’s amusing to look at— i like the dog” he said, pointing at one of the drawings.
“It’s supposed to be a zebra >:(“ you looked up at him, trying to contain his laughter before calming himself down and continuing to draw on his paper.
“Well it’s fine because art club isn’t necessarily based on skill. i mean, if we have Jaehyuk in here then that says something” he responded pointing at Jaehyuk’s paper. You couldn’t quite comprehend what he was drawing— a person playing baseball??
“It’s a frog by the way”
“HUH?!”
You hadn’t realized how late art club ended, but when you walked out of school, you saw the once blue sky turned into an orange hue indicating the late time.
“We hope to see you again Y/N” Yoshinori said. You nodded and hummed in response before taking your leave with Jihoon.
You took one last glimpse of Asahi, sticking out amongst the orange sky. The sun was setting yet— looking at him gave you the exact warmth you would feel on a midsummer day. You watched his mouth slowly bloom into a smile when made eye contact. You think in your mind that spring has never felt so warm.
You looked up at the trees in the process of blooming, white buds formulating on the branches.
“The trees are gonna be really pretty in about two weeks or so” you heard a voice from behind you. Him. You clenched the chocolate milk in your hand before turning towards him.
“Yeah— oh sorry i’m blocking the vending machine” you murmured, sliding away.
“Oh no no,, it’s fine,” he said before taking your spot and getting the same drink in your hand, “Are you by any chance— planning to confess to anybody?”
Oh, right. You looked up at the blossoming trees once again. The time of the season you once never understood. The time of the season you once could say you despised. Yet here you are, having the rush of spring flowing down your veins. Is this the adrenaline that everyone feels? The unknown feeling gave you goosebumps throughout your body as he asked you that question.
“I don’t quite know yet,” you simply responded, looking back at him taking the drink out of the machine, “What about you?”
A sheepish smile wiped on his face, his dimple showing ever so slightly. He shrugged before looking at you.
“Only my heart knows the answer to that question.”
Over the so little time you’ve known Asahi, you’ve picked up on his mannerisms and his actions.
For one, he was more on the reserved side, and even when he talked his voice would always be on the softer side. You unknowingly started to associate him with winter because he gave off the cold feeling of a winter night. It was also your favorite season.
Most people knew him because he was friends with Jaehyuk, one who was very popular amongst the school. You had heard a couple times in the hallway about how handsome Asahi was. The feeling you felt when hearing that was unknown to you.
He enjoyed drawing a lot; him and Yoshinori were the best out of the club (though you’d be a bit biased if asked whose art you liked more), and he was always focused on his work, always scrunching in a little corner tending to his painting. But yet he always complimented your drawings no matter how bad they were, never failing to give you a warm feeling right after.
You could say you had developed an endearment towards asahi.
You stepped out your home, looking at the once bare trees flutter into pink hues, you thought the cherry blossoms were beautiful.
Today you decided not to walk out with Jihoon because well— confession season is always different with that boy. You had no intentions to get caught up in his relations.
You took timid and slow steps towards school. Taking your time looking at the petals and happy groups walking and aweing at the blossoms. Your mind was also off somewhere— of course it was, it always was.
Arriving at school, you saw Jihoon getting flooded by countless individuals, a letter in most of their hands. You could say the same to Jaehyuk on the other side who was also getting bomboarded. You took your routined steps to your locker, opening it as per usual except— it wasn’t usual.
You watched the letter flutter out, swaying to the floor imitating a loose flower petal. Picking it up with a shaked up expression, you carefully opened it up.
You saw the scribbled up lines at the top of the letter, indicating that the said person was trying to make a poem.
‘ah— who am i kidding? i’m not one with words. i never was. yet here i am trying to pour my feelings out on this letter. but i cant seem to combine the right words to express it. maybe because my feelings could not be described in the first place. maybe my feelings are best not worded out on this crumpled up piece of notebook paper. because if i’m being honest— this is my 27th time writing this and yet i still cant get it down. just.. meet me at class 104B? 4:15 pm after school today? please? -♡
Your grip on the paper tightened, the heart fluttering confession bringing a small smile to your face. You looked back at your locker seeing chocolate milk in sitting atop. You grasped it in your hand, taking it out before closing the locker and heading to class, your hands gripping tightly onto the objects. Unknown to you a figure watching your every move with focused eyes.
As time went by in school awfully slowly, your mind went off to one person only. You had foolishly deluded yourself into thinking that the letter and milk was from him. well— he did see you buy chocolate milk that one time. And well,, the handwriting did have a print of him.
‘Enough thoughts. just wait until school ends and your mind can finally-‘ ring!
You looked up at the clock in shock, realizing that it was, in fact, 4:00pm.
You purposefully gathered up your belongings slowly, trying to pass as much time as possible. Putting your care into every single step taken, from the 1st floor to the second.
Taking a deep breath, you slid open the empty classroom door. It was very convenient that it was just across the art classroom as the club did have a meeting today.
You traveled across the room to look out the window, seeing someone announce their feelings to another under the cherry blossoms. Just last spring you would stick your tongue out in disgust yet here you are somewhat in the same position, your heart aching as each second ticks by.
You watched them hug each other, their feelings being reciprocated, a petal getting caught in ones hair. You looked at the trees and how it really set the mood, almost getting lost in the alluring sight until you heard someone clear their breath.
You turned around deliberately, looking down at your shoes before looking up.
Yet, you often found it as a mistake to open up your heart in a time full of tender love like now. well— maybe not.
It’s him. The person right in front of your eyes is him.
You felt like the sun had just rose, your heart beating out of your chest almost like it was about to burst and run away. You felt the butterflies prance around in your stomach, feeling like you could cough one up right now. Does he feel the same right now?
“Ah,,, hello” he mustered shyly. You clenched the letter in your hand.
“Did you perhaps—“ though it was quite obvious, the slight nod from him gave you your answer.
You observed him, his hair slightly covering his eyes. Lightly kicking at his feet, you had figured he couldn’t compromise the right words.
“I have something for you” he spoke out after what seemed like a few minutes. He reached his hand out, silently telling you to take the initiative to grab it. You placed your hand in his, feeling like your hand was molded perfectly just to cusp his. His grip so gentle you could barely feel him grasp your hand.
Leading you to the art classroom across, your eyes spotting on the covered canvas on an easel. Using his other hand, he took off the cloth, your eyes widening in awe.
Your mouth laid agape as you looked at the drawing of a portrait of you with cherry blossoms in the background. Your heart stammering in your chest.
“Is this what you’ve been working on the entire time in art club?” you asked, eyes still on the painting. He hummed and nodded his head.
“Do you like it? Or is it a bit too—“
“No no! I like it a lot— Actually I love it. I love it so much” you cut him off, looking at him with excitement evident in your eyes. Words couldn’t describe the feeling flowing through you. Is this real?
“Well, I like you a lot too. I was trying to find a way to tell you, so I used my strong suit which is art” he proceeded to tell you, taking your other hand in his. He smiled tenderly at you, his signature dimple showing once more.
“Asahi— I like you too” you beamed, staring straight into his eyes. His smile widened more, his teeth showing. You took this as the initiative to hug him, arms wrapping around his neck, his wrapping around your waist.
You felt the sun shine on you, the warmth of spring immersing through you, your heart feeling more than alive as ever. The cherry blossoms you once thought as a mistake becoming the blessing in disguise for you. You think in the time of the moment that Spring has never felt so warm for you.
