he asks again like ten minutes later and darry just slams his head down on the horn for a good minute

Darry

Obviously the designated driver of car 1.

He wants to leave at 5 am, before morning traffic.

Will probably roll the windows down, not wanting to put on the a/c (if the car had it)

He chooses the music. and puts the station at a good volume.

He'd tap his fingers to the beat of songs.

Surprisingly doesn't get road rage often

There are occasions when he does get road rage

Makes it worse if people are arguing in the back

"god help me, I WILL TURN THIS CAR AROUND"

He hates it when someone asks to pull over to go pee.

ESPECIALLY if he just left a gas station 10 - 20 minutes before.

He'd buy 1-2 snacks for everyone until the next stop.

Sodapop

Either the front passenger, or sitting next to Steve in the backseat.

The KING of I-spy.

Actually, the KING of all car games

Besides Slug Bug.

He'd blurt out the most random things

He full on sings to songs he likes

Even making up some lyrics to the songs he cant understand

He'd fall asleep

He snores

But he wakes up at the slightest of movement

Would talk to Steve about the cars they see

Or the broads walking on the sidewalk.

Steve

He will leave a bruise when playing Slug Bug

Hates I-spy

Rambles on about the tuff cars that they pass

Would eat all of the snacks within the 1st hour or 2.

He'd have crumbs on his face.

Snores aswell, but its worse than Soda's.

Cracks his neck every 10 or so minutes.

Tries to thumb wrestle with Soda

Both ended up sore because of the angle.

Trys to turn the music up

Fails. (Darry slapped his hand)

Will hum to songs.

I HC that Darry has chronic pain from all the work he does and he still doesn't taje time off when he should

He definitely does-the only time he usher in pain is when he has deep deep DEEP pressure on his muscles-sometimes he’ll just ask soda or pony to sit on his back for a minute to loosen his muscles. or he’ll ask soda for a back rub. those work like a charm and he’s always more than thankful whenever soda does do this-i kinda have this headcanons that pony has a morbid curiosity with the human body and anatomy in general (me core) and he reads all about chronic pain and ways to help. but he’s twenty and his brothers both feel awful that he’s so young and already has the back of a fifty year old man. sometimes long and soda will literally force him to stay at home like they’ll get genuinely mad if he tries to get up. usually his forced day off is a saturday and while soda is at work pony will literally just sit with darry like “if you get up i’m not speaking to you for a week” and he’s so serious. one time darry tried to leave and pony literally didn’t talk to him for a whole week and that bugged darry endlessly.

poor boy just needs a hug. pile in guys, i’m driving to tulsa to hug him.

Dang, this is kinda funny. I didn’t even get back into Halo until, like, late March. In all fairness though, Halo music is always great.

Don’t know how Les Champs-Elysées got 4th though. Great song, but no way I listened to it more than 1484 other songs. How dare the damn French take my #4 instead of something else from ODST.
