Board game notebook

Needed a new hardcover nb and wanted the cover to sit flush with the pages (standard loose leaf notebook paper), so I cut up the box for a Betrayal at House on the Hill my roommate was throwing away. Here's how it looks so far.

I really dig this. Messed up the front: the punch holes are off and I scruffed up the edge while shortening the front. Overall, though, I'm happy with the turnout. I quite like the minor bits of damage: the wear and the whites.

I will use this guy for a bit, take home notes, and if it seems functional, I'll think on ways to finish the cover. I'll likely replace the binding with a black Proclick spine cut down to the right number of rings.

I want to make more of these! Could even see myself selling a few. Will be on the lookout for good candidate games -- both box and board -- next time I'm at Goodwill or wherever.

I get the appeal of Sonic the Hedgehog being its own urban legend in his world (IDW can we now call it earth) like, a blue blur that appears out of nowhere, destroys some robots, maybe picks up some wildflowers while he saves entire civilizations like it's just a walk in the park and just a few people get as much of a glimpse of him from up close (and that means you're also getting a close glimpse to this week's god of destruction so maybe be careful with that)? it is really cool, but the side of Sonic that is well renewed, the one that it's known by the world as a protector, a hero to some level, the side thay annoys restoration members, the side that gets recognized by the masses, praised by children, feared by villains and admired by almost everyone to a certain level... one that is big enough for him to get bootleg merch? The Formerly Captive Unicorn

Handmade watercolor journal(canson watercolor paper) , the outer cover is hand painted canvas done with Angelus paints, inner cover is a perfect fabric I found second hand at a reuse store! the covers and pages are sewn using some silk thread I waxed. Braided embroidery floss bookmark and magnetic latch. Medieval/Limp binding style !

Done as an art trade with a local peep but I also take commissions for custom journals! Inquire in DM if you're interested :)

Dragon Notebook || Next [tba]

Started this a while ago and haven't done much with it. I do wanna continue it though so here's page 1 for y'all! A notebook-style mini-comic done by Ares about Fire Dragons and their behavior and habits. There's not a whole lot known about fire dragons so Ares takes it to himself to start jotting down notes when he realizes being friends with a dragon could help gather more information!

Also he gets to doodle dragons and he's perfectly fine with that.
