Kotaro jumps, startling Takato, surprised at the sudden voice in his ear-piece. "What? What is it?" the younger brother asks.

Kotaro covers the side of the headphone where the microphone is to answer, "Someone tapped into my network—or called me with some auto-pick-up function. Stay quiet for a second." He stops talking and listens to Rin finish talking. He blows air out of his nose and half-smiles at the addition of figuratively. Evidently, this was someone who knew what he looked like, or at the very least knew the information of his recent status as an amputee.

"I'm persevering, as usual. Keeping myself scarce," he says before sighing. "Making do on supplies, although I haven't been in a position to pawn things off like usual."

His voice quickly loses its friendly tone when he adds, "So, are you an independent AI or are you trying to track down any escapees to dispose of?"

Cyber Anon. What would happen if Uzi Doorman from the YouTube Webs series Murder Drones showed up in Hyrule

So. I knew absolutely nothing about Murder Drones. And after a solid thirty minutes on the wiki about it, I now know a few things about Murder Drones.

My first thought: they look like angsty Kirby antagonists.

My second thought, which actually answers your question: Uzi seems like a very angry person? And also apparently hates humans so I'm fairly certain that she'd do her best to kill everything on sight. Which is a problem, because not everyone deserves to be killed on sight, you know?

Of course, there's also the secondary problem caused when Uzi goes after a Cucco.

"...Should we... rescue her...?" Speck asks faintly, as a literal apocalypse chicken war rages around them.

"...I feel like she... maybe deserves this?" Vio says back. "I mean. She did actually decapitate a Cucco, so... this somehow seems like a reasonable response, on their part?"

"...We should probably figure out where she came from and put her back."

"Agreed."

Artificial Phoenix movie changes

*cracks knuckles* Okay I said I would do this for at least one curious reader, so here we go. I'll eventually drop it under a cut because it is gonna get long haha, if you guys want me to expand on any of these details just let me know !

The opening to the movie is more or less the same, though Leonardo's mistake is less from sheer arrogance and more in eagerness to use his mystic powers. Training with Draxum has proved fruitful, and Leo's just a bit too excited with how good he's getting with his abilities lately.

When they end up with Casey Jr. in their lair, they don't really believe he's from the future until they end up finding the memory locket on his person. Casey tells them he got it from Master Michelangelo, and Mikey and Draxum know it has to be the same locket though the image inside it is different.

There is also a funny add on to this happening in the background where Sho, upon seeing Casey, congratulates Splinter on his grandson. Splinter wants to know where he got that idea, and Atsuko mentions the pair of them do share a lot of features. If this was being animated Splinter would look at her, next to Casey, with a similar expression on his face as the kid and say "I don't see it"

When Casey mentioned the Kraang, both Draxum and Karai recognize the name. April also realizes that's the same things as the creature she found among the empyrean.

The attempt to get the key back also goes just about the same, though Leonardo's desperation to recover it is more out of fear of something else too powerful for them to handle getting into the city and taking something else away from them. But of course, in his attempts to stop that from happening, Raph gets kidnapped.

Donnie's decision to even make all those escape pods also had to do with him wanting to give them an out in case things got too dangerous (and it still only worked so well).

Everyone is desperate to get Raph back, so the boys all go to do this while Draxum, Karai, April and Cassandra all try to find a way to destroy the key. This time it's not just Leo that causes the run through the subway to go to hell. (Leo is constantly asking his grandmother if Raph is still alive).

Casey Jr. has to give all of them a lecture, and is shocked they're even acting like this when Donnie is the one who harshly reminds the kid they aren't their future selves, but they still understand his point and try to collect their feelings so they can save Raph with a more level head.

Also for the record, Casey has met Cassandra during this film, but he has chosen not to reveal how he knows her or why her image is the one coming from his locket (along with another figure who's far too blurry to make out). Cassandra is determined to find out the answer when this ordeal is over.

Raph still gets possessed by the kraang.

Cassandra and Karai are both part of the ground squad, trying to get Casey Jr. to the key so they can close the portal.

The events to seal the kraang are more or less the same, and while Draxum will deny breaking down in front of April, Karai and Cassandra when Leo is trapped on the other side of the portal, April may mention it to Leo later anyway.

Speaking of breakdowns no one is having a good time for the record, but Atsuko tells Mikey that Leo is still alive, and he's not going to give up.

Meanwhile in the prison dimension, Leo is about to give up, but then an incoming hit never connects, because his father's spirit appeared (I have been tempted to write this scene up at the very least).

Get the shit kicked out of you by a ghost Kraang leader.

Well, not that hard, just enough to keep him busy while Leo makes a run for it and eventually reaches Mikey's portal.

Draxum does not stop pestering the boys for weeks while they recover, and when Leo starts calling him Dad on purpose he pretends he's been doing it all this time.

Cassandra eventually gets the truth from Casey, but Mikey's still curious about why Casey's locket plays the same song that his does (Casey isn't sure why)

Hey, not familiar with your story here. What's this about memories being traumatizing? How could they be even close to traumatizing enough to make a Rebellion era persona user lose their persona? Especially Ryuji? He would have had to forgotten accidentally causing the death of hundreds, or that of close friend to even hope of losing his persona

... Um!!! Both? Both. Or - childhood friend he doesn't (and I didn't) remember is in a coma. Because of us being very very stupid kids. He - uh. Jumped into danger to save the rest of us.

Also, us being stupid kids are why Eaters are in the Digital World. Eaters. Well. Eat data. I... don't think I have to spell out what that means.

Also Eaters are the cause of! EDEN syndrome! Which I don't think everyone who contracted actually survived! Because being in a coma is really fucking expensive!

The only reason I'm not a constant and irreversible mess is that we sort of. Rewrote reality to make sure none of that ever happened? At least in my timeline?

Abt the cyber AU, what enhancements do Lucky and Miner have? (Also do you have any ideas for the Jonronero-Smith bros in this AU? 👀)

With his arm, that does all the arm things, Lucky has enhancements to his sight and stamina left from baseball days! They do wear out over time though, since he doesn't have as strong of a need in them.

Miner just has his heart, which is better than a regular human heart for the most part! He doesn't anything else throut his life.

As for the boys! They are too little to get any cybernetic parts and none of them really need to. Only when they are adults they may get something for their lines of work.

Leo basically grows up with such unusual parents and it's alright to him, but Micky is a bit weirded out. Especialy by Lucky. It takes him a long time to even get used to being around him. He's more chill with Miner since his augmentation is essential for his life!

And since Leo is becoming a doctor in the future, in this au he's also specialises in augmentations!! He may even help his dads taking care of their robotic parts.

No offense but why the fuck does Triborg have a dick? Like when Cassie does her move, the x-ray shows he has genitals. Why do the Cyber Lin Kuei even have reproductive parts anyway? I doubt they're functional(at least I hope they aren't) and even if they are, I'm not having Cyber babies I'd all too productive when you just convert them through force.

I don’t think MK lore even clearly stated how much original human body and organs the Cyber Lin Kuei still possess and some earliest prototypes could be less mechanical than the later, upgraded versions. As Triborg was introduced in Mortal Kombat X, and was accidently created by Special Forces when they "brought the drives to a secret S-F weapons lab, then downloaded several files into a test body", he could be the less advanced type, especially compared to Kronika’s design done to Frost, however most likely his whole body was artificial to begin with - unless Special Forces did some nasty experiment with human body.

However I would not pay mind to X-Rays, as this is just one of cool game mechanics to emphasize damage done to character. Cassie’s move to hit her opponent in the genitals is shown as it is done on any other human male, most likely to avoid additional cost, as I imagine animating the whole sequence just to acknowledgeTriborg’s robotic body and what is inside alone would cost money and time while the change wouldn’t add anything important to story mode - even if the X-Ray as it is may be seen as the implication Triborg still can have sex. But then again, the X-Ray also shows that Triborg has human bones that are shattered during attack or that a normal blade can pierce his metal armor which also makes little sense if we think about that for too long. Especially breaking Triborg’s neck vertebrae as he can literally detach his own head to use it as a weapon and if he still had human bones, muscles and spinal cord that should not be possible for him to do. 

So worry not, even if for some reason Triborg was not deprived of his reproductive organs, I doubt his programming includes the desire for natural reproduction or just sexual pleasure. As Triborg’s ending shows, he would mass produce bodies for his brothers and sisters by using advanced technology of Special Forces, not by making babies himself in natural (human) way.
