Can I ask for book recommendations? I’ve been trying to find something that surrounds being an unpleasant, weird girl but it’s never right for me. I’m honestly very jealous of people who can watch or read something and see a character that makes them think ā€œthis is literally meā€ because I’ve maybe only had that experience once and I’ve chased that high ever since. And it’s a very, very niche character with absolutely zero discussion surrounding him. Same with the movie. No clue how I found it, honestly…
A lot of the girls I find are very out spoken and appear confident, which I am not and find it hard to relate to. I’m somebody that would rather starve than go and talk up somebody to order. A lot of the girls rely on something to escape the mundane, whether it is cigarettes, drugs, sex, alcohol… I don’t drink, never have or will and the same can be said for everything else I listed. I think not relying on cigarettes or alcohol to unwind is actually weirder than needing it, at least based on the way I’ve had past coworkers react to that.
I’d just like to read about an introverted, quiet loser who doesn’t need to have a love story to show that she’s not a lost cause. The fact I struggle to have my ā€˜weird girl’ character makes me feel even weirder. Worse, I’m too boring. Maybe I’d like to read about boring, I don’t mind. Said movie/book was probably the most boring slice of life ever, and that’s why I liked it so.
If you can think of anything that’ll satisfy this possibly hard to find niche, I’d appreciate that. Thank you. At this point I feel as though I have to just write it myself which I’m considering.

I want to buy perfume but all perfume just has this artificial chemical smell and yeah, I guess that makes sense but it’s not pleasant to me. I want to either smell like the air freshener in my bathroom or coffee grains. Or something.
The perfume in my home range from notes of carnation, coriander, sandalwood and vanilla (means nothing to me) to black cherry, Turkish rose, almond and plum (also means nothing to me) and it’s just the same chemical bullshit to me. I don’t know anything about perfumes and scents so it’s hard to shop for them because I’m meant to trust their description of ā€œit’s like a misty, cold night with cobblestone beneath your heelsā€ when I don’t even know what the hell sandalwood smells like anyway. I never got smelling flowers because they never had a pleasant smell to me. I’m not a scent girl, I’ll admit. Sometimes I think sweat smells good and I’m not afraid to say that. I do not have a good grasp on refined smells. I keep it stank, I suppose.
I just want to have a scent and I’m jealous of people who do smell like good perfume because to me the concept of good perfume is so rare. I’m afraid the concept of Bisous Cerise Noire eau de toilette with black cherry and oleander top notes is lost on me. I would prefer to smell like a Mr Tom peanut bar.

Adriana was declared dead in February. Her baby was prematurely retrieved via autopsy on Friday 13th this June. Please read.
Tumblr media
Adriana died when she was only nine weeks pregnant, where her baby would be the size of a raspberry. Her family was not given the choice due to the very strict abortion ban in Georgia.
Once pregnant, your body is deemed as property and Adriana was kept as a human incubator and her case is seen as black bodies being used as an experiment to showcase that even when dead, your body can still be viable and used. They’ve shown that from the beginning the unborn will always have priority out of any out-of-womb person. Adriana went to the ER and they had refused her as she was pregnant. She died from a blood clot that could’ve been prevented if they gave her the medical treatment she needed.
The hospital claimed it was something they had to do because of the Georgia House Bill 481 which prevents any abortions in the case that there is a present ā€˜fetal heartbeat’ which is typically occurring in the 6th week of pregnancy 1, but there is no requirement that you must keep a corpse useable for gestation. The Georgia Republican Attorney General made a statement that the law did not require medical professionals to keep a woman declared brain dead on life support. He made a statement where he said, ā€œRemoving life support is not an action with the purpose to terminate a pregnancy.ā€ 2, 3.
This raises the threat that even deceased your body will be used to breed and you will be used as an incubator with machines to prevent you from decomposing. Her body was used to prove some kind of point at the expense of her and possibly her baby with the high risk of lifelong complications. Once again they prioritised the life of an unborn baby, not the seven year old son Adriana already had who now doesn’t have a mother and especially not Adriana herself. A child in utero will be deemed more important than any other life outside of it.
Her family should’ve had time to process their loss all the way in February. Instead, she was kept to be a host to this baby and she was unplugged as soon as they were done this her. Only now can they bury her. Her family still have to pay the medical expenses for all of this. For everything that has been done since February and any medical expenses that come from the prematurely extracted baby, along with her funeral.
"It’s torture for me. I come here and I see my daughter breathing ... but she’s not there […] It should've been left up to the family."

Just another person mad about Sabrina Carpenter because I’m as online as the rest of you.
Tumblr media
I find it weird how people act like Sabrina’s music isn’t about men and she doesn’t centre them in her songs. Sure, her fans tend to be women, but that isn’t what her music is about. In fact, she does make the man she’s lusting over the focal point, putting down another woman in the progress.
Funny how people point out she has a song called ā€˜manchild’ that insults men when her lyrics are:
Why so sexy if so dumb?
And how survive the Earth so long?
If I'm not there, it won't get done
I choose to blame your mom
Sure, some women do treat their sons as their amazing angels. Still, when a song is insulting a man yet she still expresses desire for him and she says his bad traits are because of a woman… You see what I mean, right? But I digress, I’ll stop cherry-picking and talk about what everybody else is.
Sabrina has built this sex-obsessed persona for herself that doesn’t receive much flack because she’s visually an innocent person. A rich, blonde white woman who constantly states she’s small, and I unwillingly know her height because she frequently says how teeny tiny she is, therefore harmless.
Her singing ā€œI’m full grown but look like a niƱa, come put something big in my casitaā€ is odd. She doesn’t look like a little girl either, but after a Lolita shoot I’m getting the impression she wants to be seen as a weak and vulnerable little girl to cater to men. She looks full grown, who is telling her this??
I’ve seen people react to others criticising her recent actions with ā€œlet’s not put down women just because it seems like we have permissionā€ like yes, let’s treat this petite, blonde white woman with fragile hands as she can simply do no wrong. I admit sometimes we can wildly blow things out of proportion, especially when regarding women, but after witnessing one artist create a whole subculture that worships abusive dynamics and perpetuates that being a submissive, weak-willed woman that needs to know her place is peak femininity… Not all of us wants to see that again. Not all of us can write this off as satire because it’s not. If she claims it was an attempt, it was a shit poor one. Satire can fall flat. Jokes don’t always land. This is a petite, blonde and blue-eyed white woman who is richer than I’ll ever be who is referencing Lolita, which shows that she’s dipping her toes into this ā€˜abused woman’ aesthetic I see so many young women fall for. It’s not an aesthetic and it certainly isn’t satire. Her calling herself a ā€˜small little girl’ and then making repeated references to the heavily romanticised story of a grown man falling in love with a fourteen year old and seeking to corrupt her sexually isn’t a coincidence. This is intentional.
What’s satirical about reminding women that this is the position they’ve always been forced into throughout history? On their knees, submissive and supposed to take any beating their husband gives them because if you’re his wife, you’re also his property, and how else is he supposed to let off some steam after work? What would make it satirical is if she was poking fun at this dynamic, letting herself be the one in control while the man was on all fours for her. No, instead she has to crawl around like a dog and look oh so pretty while doing it. She doesn’t want to make men uncomfortable, after all. Doesn’t it speak volumes how it’s women who are complaining about this and men are quiet? Because no man is going to be made uncomfortable by this. A man will see Sabrina on the floor with her hair being pulled and look at the faceless man on the cover and easily be able to insert himself as her abuser. This will turn a man on, and once again women will have to be reminded that this depiction of womanhood – one we’ve tried so hard to separate ourselves from – is still so desirable to men.
I read a comment on her Instagram that said ā€œthis isn’t subversive, it mimics the violence it’s failing to critiqueā€ and I think that’s a wonderful summary. Her radio friendly pop music simply has nothing to do with such heavy topics, she’s using it to excite and entice those who will find it attractive. I hope after seeing this negativity she will act her age instead of the age she is pretending to be.

Quick rant about the ā€˜WLW’ label.
Tumblr media
I feel with the sudden influx of people calling themselves WLW on TikTok they’ve completely erased what that word actually means. I’ve weighed in on a conversation thatā€˜s about men and I’ve immediately been told I cannot have an opinion because I’m a lesbian. I’m not. I don’t have lesbian in my bio, I have WLW. People were too busy laughing at saying ā€˜wuh luh wuh*’ that they didn’t pay attention to what it means. It’s not a synonym for lesbian, it’s a synonym for sapphic, which I don’t see the fourteen year olds on TikTok use. I’ve gotten into small spats with actual queer people who insist I’m wrong. They shockingly go silent and stop replying when I pull the definition out though.
It’s an umbrella term because not every woman who likes women is a lesbian. If theres a topic about just that, it’s less exclusionary than if they were just to say lesbian. It’s why we say sapphic too. These new self-realising queer children need to stop correcting people and misusing gay terms that have so much history behind them simply because the labels are trendy to them. It’s so frustrating having people misunderstand an identity and having the gall to tell me I’m wrong about how I identify when they just learnt the word.
Once again… It feels like an erasure of some kind, where people treat binary sexuality as easier to understand and quickly look over the weird smear in-between. It shouldn’t be hard to understand that it’s bad when you use a very inclusive umbrella term to mean one, strict thing.
I’m seeing this spread over to gay also. I saw somebody call that blue and green gradient flag the mlm flag. If you aren’t talking about the achillean flag, then say GAY! Stop swapping out gay and lesbian for something more palatable. Many lesbians dislike the whole WLW thing because they are a lesbian, and throughout history that’s been treated as a dirty word that’s shameful to say. If you mean lesbian, if you mean gay, say it. Don’t swap it out if it isn’t necessary. If you aren’t trying to use inclusionary language then do not use inclusionary language.
Tumblr media
* On side note regarding this, it’s so frustrating how ignorant people would act once they’ve gotten their hands on a brand new gay term. You’ll see two butch wives with their on screen username being ✃ Scissor Sisters ✁ and they’ll still be typing ā€œw-wuh luh w… wuh?ā€ like those are full blown LESBIANS, and you know that for a fact. We get it, you got a brand new word to play with, but stop pushing it in everyone’s face. I do not want important queer labels to be reduced to a TikTok trend that’ll be treated with an eye roll because everybody acted so erratically and ignorantly once they found it.

T//rf: I dislike women being treated as only their autonomy. Women are not just ā€˜baby factories’ meant to either push out the next one or create the head of a household. So many women cannot have children and more and more women are choosing not to have kids at all. My anatomy shouldn’t define me.
Trans woman: Holy shit, the new Deltarune chapter was peakkkk.
T//rf: You can only consider yourself a woman if you’ve had a fetus in your womb for nine whole months šŸ˜šŸ˜‚šŸ˜ Let’s see how you handle being postpartum while also having to look after a newborn baby, that’s when I’ll talk womanhood with you šŸ˜‚šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜‚ If you’re going to falsely claim to be a woman then you should’ve been expecting a tiny tot yyyesterday šŸ˜‚šŸ¼šŸ¼

Biphobia and misogyny during pride rant… *ą³ƒą¼„
What’s more male-centred than thinking every bi woman is actually straight and every bi man is actually gay…?
Tumblr media
I dislike how biphobia is always so prevalent within queer spaces. I’ve always heard and occasionally laughed at jokes about ā€œbisexual women and their boyfriendsā€ and I then realised so many people who say that are saying it with contempt. They say it mockingly, with doubt because ā€˜ugh, she isn’t bisexual, she clearly prefers men’. Women with husbands, boyfriends, ex-boyfriends are all treated like bold-faced liars.
When you are a bisexual woman, you unsurprisingly do like men. Sometimes your preferences can be split evenly in the middle, but sometimes you do prefer one more over the other. You can make your joke about how the woman who ā€˜claims’ to be bi might’ve never dated a woman and has had five boyfriends, but there isn’t a rule to bisexuality where once you leave a man, you need to date a woman. There doesn’t need to a be an even gender ratio in a bisexual woman’s dating history for her to be acceptable to you.
Tumblr media
Tangent: Growing up. I’ve also seen that people who would claim to be bi would take it back later. I was incredibly bitter. As somebody who has always been closeted and would prefer for people to just assume, I hated this sudden surge in women who claim to be this thing I’m not fully confident with. This is my life and my occasional burden of being fifteen in the backseat being told by a grown man that dating a bisexual is opening yourself up to being cheated on and lied to. Queerness becomes trendy and cool every few years and every other, we see that people are trying to dampen the sound of pride. First we laugh at companies and their rainbow logos for trying to capitalise on queerness. Now, we notice their silence amidst a climate that is growing more hateful and less tolerant. Before they were proudly saying they didn’t mind if they lost supporters, because they support us. Now they realise their support isn’t worth the loss of money.
Tumblr media
All of this to say I don’t actually care about girls who may have had a superficial label. Some people have their label journeys. Straight, bisexual, asexual biromantic, an a-flux biromantic with a fem preference, lesbian. Some of these journeys are shorter and might end with the person being straight. I think people see bisexuality as the temporary phase, the mid-stage of deciding between straight and gay. This is what I would expect from outside the community. Not within.
When openly bisexual women are actually enthusiastic about women, people just say that she’s a lesbian. You were so spiteful before that bisexual women aren’t as passionate about women as they are men, but when they are…? Suddenly that label you ridicule isn’t even in your mind. In fact, you’ve changed it to one you prefer, one that’s more palatable to you because if you saw somebody you actually like as bisexual, your negative view on them it questioned.
Tumblr media
Yes, I’m sorry very sorry Billie Eilish was seen kissing a man in photos that breached her privacy. She wasn’t ever a lesbian though. She was always called a queer-baiter and was pushed to come out. She likes woman and will make music about her love of them, much like how she makes music about men. It is very weird to act like you need ā€˜lesbian representation’ from a very real and alive woman. Your parasocial feelings on living, breathing celebrities shouldn’t be what validates your own sexuality.
Tumblr media
The language that arises when talking about bisexual women is absolutely awful and spouts woman-hating rhetorics that I’ve heard being said by men for years now.
A bisexual woman isn’t tainted by a man, just like how a straight woman isn’t. It is vile to think a woman’s worth is depleted by dick. It is foul to know your attraction to a woman exhausts when you know she isn’t untouched by men. When you speak how it disgusts you that a queer woman might’ve had a cock inside her and how you couldn’t be with a girl like that, you are repeating what incels have said about women for years. It’s misogynistic to determine a woman’s worth depending on what’s been in her. Your opinion on her shouldn’t be what her bedroom life is. With terms like gold-star lesbian*, there’s a purity culture surrounding queerness that shames women who have been with a man and one that treats her like she’s used, soiled goods. This is misogynistic. You dislike bisexuals the same way incels dislike all women.
*I do understand if you’re proud to have never questioned yourself and never had to experiment. Some people did though, and as long as you don’t feel superior to those who weren’t as sure as you, whatever. I don’t think you’re more of less of whatever label you have just because you had to figure yourself out.
There is also this sour, pathetic mindset that comes in when discussing a bisexual girlfriend. ā€œA bisexual woman might be with a man after meā€¦ā€ So what? Does an attraction to a man = being male centred to you? Bisexual women aren’t as male-centred as you, who is focusing on a hypothetical man she might date. You’re stressing and devaluing a woman over a non-existent man. You’re generalising an entire group of women simply based on their vicinity to a man. If you want to be a man-hating misandrist, maybe don’t hate women while doing so.
Tumblr media
Uhhh… Happy pride!
