may i present to you, my favorite beetle

it's a cyclommatus stag! they originate in Southeast Asia and the males have super large pincers that are bigger then their whole body! they often use them to wrestle other males, which makes them perfect for my beetle fights in animal crossing Not only that, but they're super expensive in the pet trade system, with prices around 700 bucks and higher

Also I think I have seen this in Animal Crossing - although I do more fishing there than Bug hunting! I love his pearlescent rainbow sheen - I hope he wins ALL the battles!

THIS is my favorite beetle!! An Eastern Hercules Beetle (Dynastes tityus) a kind of rhinoceros beetle I once owned the shell of (before my doggo nibbled it up >:[) I love the yellow and spots And the triceratops-esc horns - PLUS they're so SO shiny!!

i keep thinking about beetle grubs now that i mentioned one...... god. am i really willing to risk it all by importing in a species thats not allowed to be imported. i really want to own a cyclommatus metallifer more than anything i adore them so much but i dont exactly want to risk the job i just landed at a very important scientific institution and aza accredited facility over some shiny beetles

alright folks, we're moving kyle in with wolfgang.

katt would've been a better fit, but katt is moving in with cherry when i decide i want to make their house.

i'll type this as i go along, since it'll be funner that way.

perhaps you folks will enjoy the brief peek into the types of commentaries i give.

the first floor gets left as is, it's one of my favorites aside from flick and c.j.'s place.

the second floor gets to be mostly catered to kyle.

also the second floor gets an atlas moth model because i feel like these two would think atlas moths are awesome. (because atlas moths are, but that's just my opinion.)

also a cyclommatus stag model on top of the cabinet thingy.

i'll put a great white shark model, too, if i find room for it. (update, it's next to the couch now.)

and boom, it's done, there's a lot more stuff that i didn't mention but it's alright.

we have a piano on the second floor, too.

it's that one orange piano, so it works with the theme.

the couch is also orange.

anyway, i might do another commentary depending on what house i make next.

Mix and match creature composed of a variety of DNA. Includes Kit Fox, Bumblebee Bat, South China Tiger, Domestic Goat, Red Rattler, Cyclommatus Stag Beetle, Bee Hummingbird, and Tanimbar Blue-Tongued Skink.

That said, her form is not set. She can alter her form at will, though she has a base form that she likes. Said base form changes every once in a while when she gets bored.

Rattles tail when stressed.

Has to beat her wings like a hummingbird in order to fly with said wings. She usually floats instead.

Her claws are made of a strange crystalline material that is razor sharp and as durable as titanium.

Not blind in her right eye, but her vision is definitely worse in that eye.

Wears a bunch of different scarves, so you can draw her in a variety of styles.

HIII hmmm i generally say hercules beetle but i also like cyclommatus beetles. also a fan of centipedes but i don't know much about specific species

ok i only have three more fish to catch (giant snakehead, saddled bichir & mahi mahi) & SEVEN bugs (cicada shell, scarab beetle, giant, cyclommatus & giraffe stags, horned hercules & walking stick) then my critterpedia will be FINISHED!!!! have to wait til july to get any of the bugs n may/june for the fish but STILL 💪
