Plot: Five Hargreaves just got his first job and finds out he got assigned a partner, a very powerful and pretty one.

Notes: Y/n has powers of Wanda Maximoff. Also In this five spent only a few years in the apocalypse. Like the day he turned 18 he was welcomed by the commission. Then he reappeared as his 18 year old when he went back to 2019.

Warnings: Non but cursing. Also this is really shit but this is my first five fic in a long time. Season 3 spoilers

Length: Very short.

Five Hargreaves never thought he would ever be in a situation like this. He left home and ended up in the apocalypse then after a few years, the day he turned 18 he was contacted by the Commission.

Catching his breath as blood drips down his clothes, sweat mixes with the blood on his face. Body’s laying all around him as the knife he used to kill them still in hand. A breath escaped his mouth in relief that it was over but also in disappointment he had to kill.

His head perks up at the sound echoing through the alleyway, but only red fog was seen covering up both entrances. The sound belonged to someone walking in high heels and he gripped the knifes handle.

“I have to say I was expecting to be disappointed” the voice spoke from close behind him. Five turned around and held the knife up pointed at the person.

But his heart stopped for a second and eyes widened at the girl in front of him. She was everything he pictured paradise to look like, or maybe just his own paradise. But the smile on her face didn’t match her mischievous voice.

“And who the hell are you?” His face went back into a glare, no matter how beautiful she was he didn’t know her so if he had to kill her. He would.

“Y/n, you’re new partner. I was sent here to make sure you got the job done.” She stuck out her hand for him to shake. Five looked down at her hand but didn’t take it but letting his hand with the knife fall.

“I don’t need a partner” She giggled at his statement.

“I don’t either. I could kill you in a spit second, before you could just puff away” She stepped closer and he stepped back, his jaw tightened and knife right back up.

“But, I figured two people who survived the apocalypse could be of use to each other” She winked at him and turned back around walking through the fog.

He stared in confusion trying to work through what she said. “Two people survived- Hey, wait” he chased after her only to get out of the fog and find nothing and just a empty street.

“Dad who the hell are these assholes” Ben speaks as his siblings walk on the balcony above him. “Shit” The other set of Hargreaves say together looking at their brother- Well, in another timeline.

Everyone started to talk and soon enough a fight broke out, Ben punching klaus and Luther sticking up for him then that caused him to also get punched. Then a whole fight broke out between everyone.

Then here five was, looking up at the sight of you. “Five” your voice just like the last time her heard it.

“Y/n” he asked getting up from the floor and walking up to you. You just smiled, batting your eyes at him. He pulled you from your waist and pulled you closer.

“Ew, are all you guys perverts” Jayme groaned watching him kiss someone who isn’t there. She took matter into her own hands once again and kicked him, sending him flying down the stairs.

One second and he looked up from the ground again at the sound of fighting, his brother, Luther being attacked by the sparrow academy.

“Bigger isn’t aways better” Marcus said punching him and Luther just took it. “Is that what you tell your girlfriend” The bigger man took a swing but he just jumped up.

But before anything else could happen everyone had the same feeling. Whisper echo through the house and soon red fog came out of the floor.

Five quickly jump up and made his way too the area they all where. He pulled Luther behind him and looked around, this could be another trick.

“What the hell is this shit” Ben screamed angrily while they all search for the source. The crash of the main doors flying open and across the room hitting the stairs.

“I’m going to fucking kill you” A angry woman screamed and fives eyes widened. Oh, fuck.

A woman came into view and everyone stiffened and ready to fight. “You’re a fucking idiot do you know that?” She glared at five and he sighed, putting his hands in his pocket.

“Good to see you too, darling” She used her magic to lifted him from the air and over to her. Her hands glowing red as she set him down in front of her.

“Darling? You left without saying a word. Then the next thing I know I’m teleported to 1961. And you know how I knew it was you, little shit? The blue fucking portal, I mean really? You drag me into shit all the time, but you keep leaving me alone every time.” Your voice made everyone flinch.

“Who the hell is she?” Luther whisper to Marcus but he shrugged and muttered something about not knowing you.

“Then I’m back in 2019, but it’s not the same timeline. So what the hell did you get into-Wait, is a cut on your face?” She raised a hand up to his cheek and wipes of the blood.

“I’m fine” he put a hand onto of hers and smiled. She looked around the room and glared each of them.

“Who the fuck hurt him” She stood back and not only did her hands start glowing again but so did her eyes. Five laughed as they all watched in fear.

“Oh shit that’s the girl you dreamed about” Jayme said from behind her. Y/n turned and took one glimpse into her head and knew she hurt him. Well, hurt him the worse.

Y/n moved her hands and Jayme was set flying into the wall, red energy glowing around her.

“Only I get to hit him” She turned back to five and smiles at him. “I’ve missed you” Five went to kiss her but a sting across his cheek stopped him.

“You’re still a fucking idiot” She pulled him into a kiss. He didn’t seem to mad about it because he knew he deserved it.

“I’m so confused” Luther watched them kiss and get a little heated like no one was watching.

“Little bro as game” Klaus stood up and almost falling, but a big stupid grin found its way to his face.

“Of course I do” Five pulled back, you giggled.

“Who’s next?” Your eyes turn red again and looked at the sparrow academy.

They all ran out the door and you followed slowly while making it hard for them to do anything. Giving them hell, torturing them while smirking.

“That’s my girl” Five watched as you run after them.

Assuming there is a season 4 of the Umbrella Academy, here is what I think all the main characters’ arcs are going to be about:

- Lila and Diego: I’m assuming there will be a time jump between season 3 and 4, probably a few months. That means Lila will be near the end of her pregnancy or have a newborn baby, and their arc is going to revolve around them panicking over being parents.

- Luther: Searching for Sloane. Assuming she exists in this universe, I predict that he’ll find her but she won’t have any idea of who he is, and Luther will spend the first part of the season trying to rekindle their relationship.

- Allison: I’m assuming she’s trapped in some type of artificially made dimension? Kinda like WandaVision, where she’s living in a false reality to cope with her pain. Over time, I’m assuming Allison will become more and more dissatisfied by this false reality as she notices that Claire and Ray don’t act like real people but rather just do whatever makes Allison happy. I predict the rest of the Umbrella Academy will find a way to help Allison break out of this false world and rejoin them in the real one.

- Klaus: I think Klaus will have a really hard time coping with the fact that he’s no longer immortal. I think the fact that the Void was the only place where he didn’t feel like a freak or an outcast is going to impact him pretty heavily. In season 1, he used drugs in order to drown out the ghosts. In season 4, I think he’s going to be looking for a way to cope with the loneliness now that he can’t see the dead and the world still sees him as a outsider.

- Five: I think he will find that he really does depend on doomsdays and apocalypses to give his life purpose (as multiple people commented on in season 3). He will also find it extremely annoying trying to live his life while everyone perceives him as a teenager, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up staying with another member of the team just because he can’t get an apartment or housing while looking like a teenager (if this happens, I think he’s most likely to stay with Viktor). I think that Five will be the first person to become obsessed with getting their powers back, because Five needs something — ANYTHING — to focus on now that there is no doomsday.

- Ben: I think we will encounter both Sparrow Ben and Umbrella Ben in season 4 (since we saw a second Ben on a Korean train during the credits). I think Sparrow Ben will be focused on finding a new purpose and a new group of people to belong with. I have no idea what Umbrella Ben will be up to, but I imagine that Sparrow Ben will have an identity crisis upon meeting Umbrella Ben because he was compared so much to his counterpart in season 3. I hope Sparrow Ben spends time reflecting on his relationship with the rest of the Sparrows so we get more information on Marcus, Christopher, Fei, etc. Also, tell us what the Jennifer Incident is!!!!!

- Viktor: he will miss Allison the most out of everyone. I think Viktor will play a huge part in saving Allison from her false reality, and hopefully — HOPEFULLY — the two will have a proper conversation where they can sort out their differences. Even if things aren’t the same between them, I hope they can at least understand each other again. I think he will also have a moment where he’s like “man, I spent my whole childhood thinking I didn’t have powers, but then it turns out I did, but now I really don’t have powers!! I’m back to square one!!!”

It seems like the villain of the series is going to be their dad. I think all the main crew will realize that this new reality is very corrupt and strange because Hargreaves owns everything, and the siblings will have to unite once again in order to get their powers back and stop their dictator dad.

Headcanons for Five Hargreaves (Umbrella Academy) that are true cause I said so;

- growing up in the manor he was SUPER anti - smoking, (“klaus smoking kills, there’s STUDIES tha-“) after he goes thru the apocalypse tho, he figures that his lungs are already toast from the toxic fumes and dust, so he would occasionally indulge when he was in an adult body. after he got back to his kid body tho he fully quit again. (And acts like he’s always been against it)

- he doesn’t REALLY mind being in his kid body, (no more joint pain, he’s faster, sharper) but he really misses how tall he was. One of his biggest issues with the body is that it doesn’t “command respect,” and having to ask for help to reach the top shelf of the liquor cabinet, isn’t helping…

- he wants a dog SO BAD. Biggest dream absolutely ever is to be a dog owner, (tell me he wouldn’t be an amazing dog dad) but because of his lifestyle and the fact that he can’t sit still long enough to keep himself alive, (let alone a dog) he tries not to get too attached.

- he HATES getting sick. In any body. When the Hargreeves siblings get sick, their powers tend to act up. And while this isn’t so bad for the others, for Five it’s a nightmare. One minute he’s laying in bed, the next he’s in the garden lying in a puddle. (He also is a HUGE baby about being sick. The second he can’t breathe thru his nose just count him out)

- five secretly has a major sweet tooth, he loves literally any and all desserts. (Most of the Hargreeve siblings do tho, mostly cause they weren’t allowed to have any as children). But when Five is in his adult body he gets diagnosed as pre - diabetic. To combat this, he just kinda lies and says that he doesn’t like sugar, and kinda convinces himself he doesn’t. (Who’s gonna tell him tho that half the fruity drinks he’s mixing up r like 98% sugar???)

- he kinda started talking to Dolores as a joke; almost treating her like a diary, eventually tho, he gets really attached to her. At some point he gets really freaked out at how dependent he is on her, and ditches her on the side of the road. He came back within the hour and profusely apologized. Since then, he’s just rolled with it.

Summary: The beginning, your story.

It all started about 50 Years ago, well 50 years and 2 months ago to be exact. I'll never forget that day, because the day started perfectly normal.

Nobody tells you just how loud the sound of silence is. at that moment, I felt like I could hear everything and nothing at the same time.

Aged Eight.

It was around 2-4 in the morning judging by the colour of the dark blue sky outside and she was woken by her dad sprinting out of his room, petrified. She'd never seen him so panicked.

Her first thought was, maybe they were being robbed? maybe someone broke in?

That was until her mum sprinted out after her dad with her brother in her arms. He was limp and blue.

She felt her body stop, she ran over to her parents and reached out to her brother and she'll never forget the feeling of touching his face.

She stood there as her parents panicked and rushed calling the ambulance and once they got there she still stood watching them leave with her brother.

She still had hope though. I mean this stuff only happens in grown up movies? It definitely won't happen to us. Right?

No. Of course not.

Right?

She was taken to her grandparents house and stayed there for a couple hours with her two other brothers.

She sat there on the sofa, watching her grandad pace up and down the kitchen.

But after awhile she sat watching out the window of the front garden. Waiting. Waiting to see her parents again with her brother.

Maybe he was sick? And needed some medicine?

Maybe he needs some cheering up?

We'll make him better. He'll be fine. This is just a really vivid dream.

Not long later she saw her parents arrive without her brother.

Maybe he had to stay at the hospital cause he still needs medicine?

No. All the optimistic thoughts are gone because

she just knew.

She could feel it through the window and across to them.

She just knew.

He's not going to be okay. She felt it.

Her parents came in crying, "he's- he's" they didn't even get the word out and we all knew.

It's not going to be okay.

He's gone.

Forever.

Because that's the thing with time, nothing can buy it or get it back not even the richest or happiest.

But things didn't get much better after that.

Aged eight:

Around five months after her brother passed away, all her family were still mourning.

But today her parents both went out to grab some food for her and her brothers.

And once they collected all the things they needed. They left, hopped in the car and drove back home.

But on the way, a drunk driver swerved into the side of their car, killing them both.

She was devastated and it still didn't get better after that.

It actually got worse.

None of her distant relatives wanted to take care over them so her and her two younger brothers all had to go separate ways.

She never saw her brothers again.

She gave them both massive hugs, sobbing as they went different ways.

And your probably wondering 'how does this relate to five Hargreaves?'

The little girl in this story didn't go to an orphanage or a foster home or a happy place at all.

A certain man flew over to England and somehow got the social services woman to give him custody of you.

A man you had never met.

Reginald Hargreeves.

"Come with me, come on now don't hover around." He said sternly not even batting an eye to you.

You followed him still in your nightgown, trying to hide your sobs.

"Y/n? Are you listening to me?" Five cut you out of your thoughts as he waved a hand in front of your face.

"Huh?"

"I was saying...If my calculations are correct we can get back all we have to do is get a briefcase." Five said grinning at you near the end of his sentence.

"Oh god, what now?"  You asked tiredly

"Well..i was hoping-"

"hoping I could use my powers?" You cut him off and he nodded with a somewhat pleading grin.

"Alright..but if this time doesn't work I'm gonna kill you myself." You sighed and he nodded behind you grinning as you walked off.

After Reginald took you in, he helped you understand your power to great lengths.

"Reality warping".

You can change reality and quite literally defeat the laws of science. However it does come with some cons.

You can only change things you know or can imagine.

You have to be in 'the zone' is what you call it.

And one of the biggest cons is, when you use your power it drains you.

And I mean drains you.

Your energy levels - actually no, all your levels go down.

"Go down the left corridor and into the wooden door. And I'll meet you" five whispered and you nodded.

You did as he said and sneakily went into the wooden door, it was a meeting room and If im five was right, it would be filled with people in around two minutes.

You hid behind the door in the corner of the room and waited.

When they began walking in, you sat there and held your feet to your head.

Once you calmed down and focused, all the men began dropping dead.

Once they were all on the floor, five blinked next to you and grabbed a briefcase.

He grabbed your hand and blinked you both back to the middle of nowhere.

"Y/n?  you okay?" He asked you and you nodded tiredly.

"Do ya think it's gonna work?" You asked him breathlessly and he didn't respond.

Your guess was he probably didn't wanna get your hopes up to much.

HEEEY! It’s the Hargreaves kids’ birthday today, and you know who else? I have!! hehe i just want to take the opportunity to let everyone know 😎 i was planning to write a whole bunch of posts in honor of this, but due to illness i will write 1 or 2 so…. happy birthday to Sparrow & Umbrella Academy, me and the rest of the lucky ones that wasn’t adopted by Reggie!🎉🎉

Let’s start from the beginning, okay?

Almost all of Viktor’s life is self-loathing and endless attempts to live like a “normal” person, but something goes wrong every time.

Leonard? Dead. Sissy? Dead. Harlan? Dead.

Seriously, this is some kind of cruel joke on this poor man. Didn’t he deserve to finally be able to love and be loved?

And it would seem that nothing could be worse.

But unfortunately it can always be worse.

Viktor meets someone in his life who makes his life happy again, as bright and filled with love as when he was with Sissy.

And it would seem, why is Viktor still unhappy? Why does Viktor feel good and bad when you are near him at the same time?

Why does Viktor feel like he’s a kid and stuck at the Academy with his dad again? Why does he feel like he has to be around Leonard again? And most importantly…why does he feel like he’s stuck in the situation with Sissy and her husband again?

And he hates it. Fucking hate this feeling. This frightens and annoys him, he wants to hide and run away, but at the same time he feels that he will explode.

Don’t get me wrong, Viktor doesn’t hate you, he just feels really bad about having a huge crush on… YOU. No, let me rephrase that, he have a huge crush on a person who already in relationship. In relationship with Five.

Fuck.

Once again, Viktor got stuck. One part of him says it’s okay, Viktor is a grown man, it’s okay when people fall in love and he can get over it.

The second part says that Viktor is disgusting, he shouldn’t feel this towards you. You are already in a relationship and you are happy. You are not Sissy. You don’t need to be saved. And besides that, Viktor shouldn’t take away anyone’s happiness, especially if it’s Five, his brother and the only person in the family who appreciated him.

Therefore, Viktor chooses the only correct path in his opinion. He will try to do everything himself, not talk about it with someone, like Allison or Luther, hell no, if Five finds out, then most likely you will find out! And Viktor doesn’t want that.

But how can Viktor stay so far away from a cutie like you? You are the clear sunshine in his life, his muse and inspiration, the only living person that keeps him going strong.

And Viktor would try to get rid of his feelings for you. But don’t expect him to distance himself or try to find someone else to replace you. In fact, I see this picture in his head, how he convinces himself that he is stronger than this and he will simply get over his crush on you like “that’s wrong, I really shouldn’t fall in love with them” but as soon as he sees you, his mind goes to “never mind. what was I talking about? oh, right, my love for them!”

And I just can’t help but see the picture of how Viktor literally radiates joy next to you.

Viktor can sit on the couch, listen and watch his family talk about something, and Viktor would remain quiet and calm, no one would notice that he was sitting with them all this time… until you just look in to the Hargreaves house and like “hey!” and Viktor would be like “omg! it’s them!!”

Viktor is literally puppy. Hold him closer, love him, hug him, pet him, give him everything and protect him!! how could you possibly say no to him when he have those pretty eyes??

And you know what? He takes advantage of this. Viktor may be one of the kindest people you’ve ever met, but he’s not as innocent as you think.

“Would you like to go shopping with me?” he asks, looking at you with his big puppy eyes.

You turn to him, smiling slightly and he smiles back at you. He always smiles when he’s around you, you think, but wasn’t he always like that?

Viktor always seemed to treat you like you were his family. He could share anything with you and you could share with him. You would understand him and always help, and he, in turn, trusted you with all his heart and you appreciated it, knowing how much it means to him.

“Of course,” you say, and run your hand gently over his shoulder as you walk past him. “Give me a minute.”

And he nods, obediently waiting for you until you return. He could wait for you for hours if that meant you would only spend time with him. With no one else, of course.

Viktor thought about you and about what his life could be, if everything was finally according to his desire. What if he met you before Sissy or Leonard? Could he be as happy now as before? Or would he fail again? Or maybe be happier?

“Where are you two going?”

Viktor flinches and his attention is fixed on Five. He was so lost in own thought that he barely noticed Five enter the room. Not that Five wasn’t a master of sudden appearances…

“Oh, uh, we-” Viktor starts and smiles nervously, awkwardly rubbing the back of his head.

“Just take a walk. Do you want to join us?” you appear behind Viktor.

Your hand gently rests on Viktor’s shoulder, as if trying to calm him down and relax, but despite the calming gesture, Viktor barely noticeably trembles under your touch.

Five narrows his eyes at this and crosses his arms over his chest, his eyes on the two of you and Viktor noticed how much the former peaceful atmosphere had changed.

Viktor’s smile becomes more forced. He wants to keep this picture where everyone is happy and nothing is happening, but for some reason Viktor is sure that Five can see everything, he thought, and as soon as Viktor notices how your hands are still on him, he catches himself and moves away.

You look at Viktor in surprise, not understanding why he reacted like that, but you remain silent and instead glance at Five and then at Viktor.

Five glared at Viktor for a few more seconds before he nodded and gave you a small smile.

“I would love to, dear.”

Viktor sighs.

Things didn’t go as Viktor had planned.

He expected that this would be another reason to be alone, only he and you, but unfortunately, he should have known better, because he didn`t know that the situation would turn into a banal “third wheel”, where Viktor was the third wheel, while you and Five enjoyed each other’s company quite pleasantly.

Of course, you weren’t evil enough to forget about Viktor’s existence while you were with the Five, no. In fact, you paid enough attention to the two guys, the only “but” was that every time you touched Viktor the slightest, whispered something in his ear and laughed quietly, probably saying some stupid joke, Viktor could feel how Five staring at him.

You preferred to be blind, or did you really not notice how tense Viktor was every time with you, especially under the strict supervision of Five. You didn’t quite get it, given how close the two had been since childhood.

But did it ruin your time? No. Viktor and Five? It is hard to say.

You were constantly pulling either Viktor or Five by the sleeve, pointing to different store windows or any object that caught your attention, saying something like “ah, look over there, Viktor!” or “let’s buy this thing Five, please?” to which 7 would nod and laugh softly with you in response, and 5 would grumble at how childishly you would behave.

“Damn, wait for me a bit. I seem to have forgotten something.” you stop abruptly and turn around, quickly apologizing until you leave in a hurry.

Viktor turns around and looks at your figure, mouth open to ask if you need help, but he trails off, deciding to stay in awkward company with his brother.

In the past, the two got along very well, enjoying the peaceful silence and Viktor would be lying if he said he didn’t miss it.

“I see how you look at them.” Five starts.

“Huh?” Viktor’s eyes widen at his words, after which he visibly stiffens. “What are you talking about, Five?”

Five tilts his head slightly, smiling, his back pressed against the wall.

Viktor awkwardly rubbed his palms and looked away, as if a boy who was being scolded by his father, and he blushed, going through the possible options for words.

“Listen, Five, they are very nice and sweet, but we are just friends and…” Viktor defends himself.

“Please, don’t lie to me,” Five speaks calmly and patiently. “Tell me the truth. We are family after all.”

Viktor sighs and looks around to make sure you’re nowhere near, after which he leans against the wall next to Five, rubbing his temples.

“And what if you right? Yes, I, uh…I kinda like them and I know that they already in relationship with you,” Viktor is actively gesticulating, looking down, nervous. “Don’t think I’m trying to steal them from you, god no, I mean, you’re probably mad at me but I would never do this to you Five.”

Five patiently listens to him and replies after a moment. “I’m not mad at you.”

“Wait, your not?” he blinks few times as he looks at Five.

Five nods and Viktor smiles at the gesture, visibly relaxing.

“You are still young and young man like you tend to be like that.” Five pats Viktor on the shoulder and he looks away, smiling slightly. “But next time, think twice before taking my partner on a date behind my back.”

Viktor nods weakly, choosing to remain silent instead.

Five notices your figure in the distance and he waves lightly at you to get your attention. You smile brightly at the two men and quickly run up to them, out of breath.

“Sorry, I’m a little late. Are you two all right?” you said, worried.

“Of course, everything is just wonderful.”

On October 1st 1989 43 women around the world got pregnant the only thing peculiar about this is that none of the women were pregnant the day before. Reginald Hargreaves went on a search to find and collect all of them. He got 8.

Sadly number Five and number 8 went missing over that time number 8 realised he had powers he could control time with a flick of his wrist and he could also move objects with his mind

It had been 13 year's since the pair went missing and they're siblings had to live with two chairs empty every morning and night until they moved out and then

Their father died

Now five and eight had found a way back into their timeline but somethin had went wrong five had miscalculated and and they were stuck in their 13 year old bodies again. Which sucked ass if you asked 8

As soo as the funeral service had started all seven siblings gathered around along with their mother and chimp butler named pogo. They watched as number one or Luther as their mother named him dumped his ashes into a sad clump of bones. Pogo asked if anyone had any last words and as always diego or number two wanted to pick a fight with Luther. So they did diego went on and on and on about their father couldn't even name them and other thing 8 couldn't care for so he rolled his eyes at the immaturity of it all.

Luther finally snapped as he predicted and as they were fighting five nudged eight to use his powers. So he did covered the two in a black smokey outline and pushed them apart, and spat at the two "stop acting like children your in you fucking 30s get it the fuck together before you break something." all of them looked surprised at their brother's hostility as he was always the nicer one of the eight. Eight just rolled his eyes and walked into the house with five and Klaus not far behind.

the medium

He had been looking forward to this. There was no apocalypse around the corner, no impending doom that took any amount of attention off of you. You deserved more than that; you deserved to be the sole medium for his energy.

So, when Klaus asked if you two were up for a quick road trip, he agreed. Begrudgingly. Despite saving the world, it was still an incredibly dangerous place. He needed to keep you safe; he had done everything he could to keep the world intact, he couldn’t have the disgusting creatures in it take you from him now.

“You’re an idiot,” he said to Klaus, pulling you tighter into his side. “But we’re in.”

“This actually isn’t so terrible,” Five said, looking at Klaus. You were safely buckled behind Klaus, the windows were down, everyone was getting fresh air. What wasn’t perfect? “Come to think of it, my whole life I’ve been under the gun; missions for Dad, working for the Commission, trying to survive the apocalypse. I was always looking around every corner, just waiting for the other shoe to drop. It’s nice to just breathe, and to not be panicking over that one for once.”

He turned and smiled at you, you nodded in acknowledgement.

“I’m not that bad,” you groaned. He laughed, reaching back and patting your knee.

“You’re not,” Five amended. “Everyone else is, though.”

“Retirement is suiting you,” Klaus mentioned, smiling, though it was slightly strained.

“So, I’ve circled all the roadside attractions along with way. I’m not sur we’re gonna have time- we have the Brownsville Big Nickel.  Oh! Ricky’s Bakery has award-winning pies-”

“If you just let me explain-”

“Or there’s this cowhenge-”

“That’s it– don’t– listen to me! Just shut up for two seconds, okay?”

You could see Five’s serene look become pinched up. “Pissed,” you believe the term was. Or, at least that’s what his siblings had said.

“Okay,” Five snarked. “I’m all ears.”

“We’re going to Pennsylvania to find my birth mother. Yay!”

“Excuse me?”

You flinched. Five turned quickly, muttering an apology. He’d always done this; there was never a day where you two couldn’t get along. And when he snapped? It was never at you; you never gave him reason to snap. When he woke up, his eyes immediately scanning your spot in the bed, you were always there. That phase had passed. You were stuck together for good now, and it was for the better.

“I’m sorry, okay? I’m sorry. I just needed somebody to come with me for emotional support!”

“Oh, emotional support, like a Schnauzer?”

“I knew you wouldn’t come if I told you, so what was I supposed to do?!”

“You’re godda-” he cut himself off, looking back toward you and then back to Klaus quickly. “You’re absolutely right I wouldn’t have come, Klaus. You know why? Because I’m supposed to be retired! I’m supposed to be taking her on vacation or buying a house for us! This is it!”

“I know!”

“This was supposed to be a carefree road trip.”

“Well, it still can be, babe.”

A sign was just up the road. “WORLD’S BIGGEST BALL OF TWINE.”

You could see Five’s eyes widen, and he turned to you. He gestured to the bar above your head. Nodding, you grabbed onto it.

“Ball of twine! Klaus, turn! Ball of Twine! Turn!” And with that, he lunged over the middle and took hold of the wheel, pushing it to the left.

“What? Five! Five!”

“It’s one of the best ones! Come on!”

“Five, we’re gonna die!”

The jolting of the car made your eyes widen, popping from your skull. You held on tighter, your nails digging into the cushion you were sitting on.”

“I don’t care! Let go! You know what– no twine, no birth mother!”

And there was the ultimatum. After nearly two car crashes you finally turned into the road that led to the world’s biggest ball of twine. The road that led to Five’s momentary euphoria.

“Yeah,” Klaus said, dragging out the word. “you know, I don’t know why, but I thought it’d be a lot bigger.”

“Seems pretty big to me,” Five said, holding you to his chest, his chin atop your head, his arms rubbing yours up and down from the morning chill.

“Eh.”

“Here’s the real question: How do you know that your birth mother is in Pennsylvania?” 

“Well, because I was on the ass end of a two-week bender-”

“What’s a bender?” you muttered. Five’s grip tightened slightly, and you could see him give a sharp look to Klaus.

“Something you won’t be experiencing, sweetheart,” Five assured.

“Is that a bad thing, or?”

“No, yo- just pretend Klaus didn’t say that; he’s being an idiot.” You shrugged in response to that.

“I can’t tell you the exact date,” Klaus continued. “Because we were boofing Xanax-” 

Five covered your ears after that.

“Klaus is Amish,” Five commented as you came upon a village.

“This explains everything,” Klaus smiled, talking over a mooing cow. You turned around to study the creature, memorizing its features.

“How does this explain anything?” Five grabbed ahold of your waist, turning you around to stand with him.

“Because look! Look at this place! This is everything my childhood was missing!”

Klaus began to walk along toward one of the barns before Five called out to him, releasing his grip on you for a moment. “Hey, uh, Klaus?!”

“Yeah?”

“Wait up a minute. Doppelganger check. You feel anything strange? Itching, sweats, gas, anything like that?”

“No. No, I feel great apart from the old rash on the tackle, but what can you do?”

Five’s face told you that you didn’t want to know what “the tackle” was.

You were placed in Five’s lap, a country song playing in the background as Five was singing and finding new places on the map. Other than periodically asking what you thought about a place or if you were comfortable, you two stayed quiet.

“I think you’re going to love retirement, sweetheart,” he sighed. “No more running around after idiot siblings or trying to stop seven billion people’s deaths. Just…us. That’ll be it- for the rest of time, it’ll be rest and relaxation. We both deserve it.”

You hummed.

“You tired?”

“Yeah,” you whispered. It’s true; the bed smelled like cat pee and you couldn’t sleep on it. You couldn’t really sleep without Five at all anymore. You were far too used to him keeping you nestled into his chest. Last night, you remained alone.

The cows began to become irritated, you could tell. They began to moo in distress. You looked toward them, surveying their movements.

“What is-”

“Oh, crud.”

“Oh, can’t I get one fucking day off?” Five whispered, mouth agape.

“Five, what’s a fuck?”

“Oh, god. Nothing you need to worry about. Stay in the car. I have to work some things out.”

The Hargreaves siblings as Aunt's and Uncles

Ok so given how much talk there was in the latest series of the umbrella academy of the Hargreaves siblings having kids it got me thinking about what sort of aunt/uncle the other siblings would be

Luther (ft Sloane)

He'd be the "fun uncle" with no idea whatsoever about actually keeping a child safe.

Like you can't blame the guy for trying but he's clueless. Sloane is legit the one who makes sure the kid has food & water and is kept alive.

Luther however is the party thrower. Doesn't matter the reason, if it's an excuse to have a party he'll have it. But he'll have the person at the center and makes sure the person feels loved. They do

Plus you can guarantee there will be stories of his time on the moon. Some of the kids are genuinely interested and will ask for them, whereas others are just like "oh shit here we go again"

Diego (ft Lila)

Everyone assumes that Diego isn't "Dad material" (y'know with the whole lone wolf vibe) but this guy really wants to a good dad. There's no way he wants to be another Reginald to his own kid. Lila's the same. No way in hell she's replicating her own mum and the same goes to their approach to being an Uncle and Aunt

That's not to say they always get things right. Sure the kids know these two love them, but some things are... questionable

If someone wants to do some dangerous shit, they won't discourage them knowing they will do it anyway. Instead they'll come with and make sure they do their questionable shit safely

Allison

Ok i had no idea where to go with Allison, like S1 & 2 Allison or S3 Allison. So here goes

S1&2 Allison is the most responsible of all the Hargreaves siblings. She's got experience with Claire so she knows what to do.

She's not as "out there" as her siblings for days out and shizz but that's doesn't mean she's boring. Picnic's, cinema, play dates and so on.

S3 Allison literally doesn't acknowledge her siblings, nor their kids. They all know about each other but she doesn't acknowledge or respond any attempts to spend time with them

Klaus

This guy is just the chaotic uncle. The kids love spending time with him as a result as you never know what's going to happen.

Like Diego he doesn't talk them out of doing questionable shit but makes sure they do it safely. He's the one who makes sure they eat before going out on a heavy drinking session, and makes sure they can get home safe. He'll be the one giving out contraception. And educates on drug use

Plus he'll be the first to step in if he thinks it becomes a concern. He's done the addiction thing and he's sure he does everything to make sure no else gets addicted.

Five

Five doesn't really spend much time with his nieces and nephews. Like he will at social gatherings but generally not. There surprisingly okay with that.

Although all the Hargreaves had to grow up fast, Five grew up faster than they did and that's a significant factor.

He'll be the uncle however they go to for any sort of intelligent conversation and debate however. That's his niche.

Viktor

Viktors the uncle they go to if they need a safe space. Whether it's because they feel overwhelmed by life and need time out or need someone to talk to because they are confused by their identity.

It get to the point most have their own keys and Viktor will just walk in and find various niece's and nephews just chilling in his home who definitely not there when he left. And he just accepts it. He didn't have a safe space when he was younger so if he can provide that for others then so be it

“This isn’t you’re home” Mr. Hargreaves said to the group of people in front of him. The ones he meet a long time ago claiming to be his kids, seeing how out of order they were he decided not to adopt them at all.

“What are your talking about? This is the umbrella academy” Allison spoke confused.

“Wrong again. This is the sparrow academy” They all turn their heads up to the balcony. A group of people looked right back at them but their attention was snapped away when someone stepped out from the side.

“Dad who the hell are these assholes” Ben, their dead brother now alive spoke, he wasn’t like they once known him.

The umbrella academy cursed out to each other knowing that a mistake was made, not knowing if it was for better or worse yet.

“They call themselves the umbrella academy” The father spoke as the sparrow academy siblings came down and stood beside ben.

But they all glanced at each other and then back at the other set of siblings in front of them. Trying not to show a rise of panic they felt.

“You need to leave” Marcus spoke sternly, the others didn’t take that well.

“Like hell we will” Diego started to walk closer but Luther put his arm out to stop him.

“Like dad said this isn’t your home, so leave. You don’t know what you risk just being in this house” It sounded like a plead and his eyes looked afraid.

“Why do you mean?” Five poked his head. The others glanced at him, knowing that it was him that she wanted.

“She’ll come for you” Ben spat at the younger looking boy.

“Listen Ben-er-ino, we don’t realy have time for another riddle” Klaus walked to the front of the group and stepped right in front of ben. “So quit your yapping and hug your brother” Klaus opened his arms for him to take as we stepped forward.

Ben glared at him and slapped him across the face causing him to tumble back and across the coffee table. “What the hell, you didn’t have to do that” Luther yelled.

“Yeah he did”

Then a fight broke out between the two sets of siblings, the umbrella academy getting their asses handed to them.

Now it’s been one day since the fight broke out and everyone was feeling their best. The world seemed fine unless you count some chances but it didn’t seem like the end of the world.

Expected for Allison who didn’t have her daughter.

But they had convinced her to come along for a stroll since it would be good to get out and get some air.

“Why can’t we just jump again” Allison questions while they sipped on their drinks. All now had their eyes on her.

As five was about to answer but the sound of screamed echo through the park and they looked back to see people running away. The sun started to dim and it was replaced by red, the sky was all red and it started to storm.

“What the hell” they looked back at the building they once lived and recently got into a fight. It looked horrifying there, the clouds being a dark shade of red and black, it looks like a tornado was forming in the sky above it but it never did.

“We have to go” The others groaned but followed. Wondering if this was another dooms day.

Thunder and lighting could be heard, striking so hard it shook the ground. But that wasn’t all that was heard, screams from the outside and now sounding like it was in the building.

The only thing human sounding was chuckling and even then it wasn’t right.

“And here I thought we had a deal” The sparrow academy siblings dangled from mid air while red energy twirled around them, they could feel it coving their whole bodies.

“We did- I promise, we were just about to call you” You smirked and batted your eyelashes at him. Finding it funny he would lie to you in a situation like this.

“Marcus, Marcus. You do know I can see into that head of yours don’t you? I mean every thought is just spilling out of that head of yours” You walk closer to them, looking up at them in the most evil way.

“Not only were you going not going to tell me, but you broke another part of our deal.” Your used your energy to fly to his level looking him dead in the face.

“I trusted you, all of you. Gave you silly little enemies to fight so the public would love you and, you do this. Do you remember what I said If you even laid a finger on him?” Marcus eyes winding in fair and so did the rest.

Since everyone was focused on something else no one heard the door open and foot steps approaching.

“Please don’t-” Before he could even finish you moved your fingers and pressure start to build up around them.

They scream in pain while trying to get away but they were no match for your powers. The force around their body’s squeeze them only to feel something worse within them.

A burning sensation was felt in their chests and they screamed, their inner body’s started to glow red.

“Do you feel that, all the pain is just a glimpse of what I felt. I didn’t want to hurt you. I gave you options and yet, you still disobeyed me.” You watched them all scream in pain.

“But I hope you know this is me being reasonable” You crushed your hand together and their screaming got louder while the pain only got worse.

Their eyes started to bleed from the corner and their veins start to show, you knew you should stop. But how could you when they asked for this themselves.

“Y/n” your eyes widens and turned your head at the voice calling you. Heart fluttering as tears welded up into your eyes. Not caring anymore about the sparrow sibling you stop you magic as they fell to the ground.

“Five?” You questioned flouting down to the floor yourself. He looked different, the look in his eyes had changed. He must be tired is what you told yourself.

Five moves towards you looking over your features and the new looked you had. The tired look on your face, the eyes staring back at him that had lost all life. Your outfit looked new but it looked like something a comic book villain would wear.

You reached up to his cheek and searched for any signs he wasn’t real. But he was, he was real.

“Thank god” You pulled him closer while wrapping your arms around him. He didn’t know why he didn’t hesitate to hug you back after witnessing what you had just done.

The sparrow academy only sat up a bit from still being weak and watched still scared about losing their life’s. The umbrella academy watched the person they once knew as sweet and caring torture people.

“What happened” Five pulled away from you, and your heart throbbed at the lose of feeling him.

“I lost you- You guys just left without a word and I…” You stutter, remembering the feeling you once felt and to be honest still did, until now.

“I couldn’t feel you. Non of you, until today. They helped me see” You away as black spirits found their way to you, going into the back of your body.

Everyone watched in fear taking a step back except for five. He couldn’t blame you but how could he. He too was stuck without his family and loved ones, and he did anything to get them back. He hated to admit it but if he had the chance he probably would be you in this situation.

“I can make it right this time. You have to believe me” You pleaded. Hoping he wouldn’t think you were a monster and leave you again.

“I-i, I can bring everyone back, I can make this reality a good one. Everyone can be happy” Your eyes filled with tears as you continue to stutter looking around for anyone to help.

“Allison” you locked eyes with her. “I can bring back Clare and Raymond” Her eyes widen and her heart speed up. “You can?” you nodded your head fast.

“I can do anything you want.” Your breath start to pick up and you don’t know why but you felt out of place.

“Y/n” you felt five grab you hands and pull you into him. “I’m here now, i wouldn’t leave just claim down” You realized in the reflection of his eyes that yours had been glowing.

“Sorry” You blinked them away and just looked at him and it made you claim down. You looked back at the sparrow academy and it wasn’t full of hated or evil, it looked soft and guilty but they still didn’t trust you.

You stepped towards them while five reached for you but you insisted you weren’t going to hurt them. “You wouldn’t have to worry about me hurting you again, I’m sorry” You pushed back at red energy shot out and it wasn’t small either.

In fact it went through the walls and into the outside world fixing anything you wanted. The others watches as it just looked like red fog around them but not feeling any different.

You healed the sparrow academy and the broken peaces of the house went back into place. Soon the last shot of energy shot through your body as you took a deep breath.

“What just happened” You hear klaus mumble to everyone confused.

“I made this world a home for everyone” you turned back at walked to five. “I just hope everyone includes us.” You asked wondering if you still could be with him after everything he has seen and now knew about you.

“I said I’d love you forever. And i’m not a quitter” Five chuckled and pulled you by the waist and now only inches apart.

“Together forever, darling”

I was interested in doing a The Umbrella Academy

I would be playing as Five for the main but can double up on the others. I am looking for someone to play a Klaus. This will happen after season three or so.

The plot idea: We all know the iconic scene of Klaus being Five’s dad for the reasons of saying the world. Now that the Hargreaves are powerless, they are stuck and Five begrudgingly agrees for Klaus to be his dad for reasons of a minor needs a parent. Over time, Five and Klaus get over their trauma that they have.

PS, we can totally have Dave be alive if you want Klaus and Dave together.

Listing off my favorites order for umbrella academy cause I'm bored. (Based on all aspects)

1. Five (always been always will be my favorite)

2. Klaus (in general just a very charismatic and lovable character with good development)

3. Allison (I've always loved her characters concept and although she was not a very good person thus season, I loved how much of her character we got to explore)

4. Lila (she's just a general badass and does the most random shit sometimes and I love her for that)

5. Ben (although I miss nice Ben grumpy Ben was very interesting to see. Especially if you start to consider the variables that affect why he acts differently

6. Victor (I loved how they handled his transition in this season and I loved how he came into his own after season two. His conflict with the others was also super interesting)

7. Diego (I loved his father arch this season and I feel like he'll be a great dad.)

8. Luther (I've never been fond of Luther but this season he was just a really sweet guy)

9. Hargreaves (I hate him but he had a very interesting character this season. I never knew what to think of him until I'd already been fooled)

10. Stan (He was so cute. The epitome of a chaotic 12 year old.)

11. Sloane (she was so sweet too and just a great match with Luther. They're so basic but it's perfect)

12. Fei (she's just so cool. I love her posture and character design)

13. Fernando (Mostly comedic relief but he was fun)

14. Pogo (I find his story interesting in the teenage time line. Not a lot of screebtime though)
