Thought I'd give your ask a try. I love dad Optimus and son Bumblebee.

How do you think dad Optimus reacts to Bee's potential partners?

It depends on the partners honestly.

- if the partners are both Jazz and Prowl, he’s hesitant but gives approval.

- Optimus pulls Jazz aside and Prowl both together and alone and make it very clear he will use rank and force to make their spark’s miserable if they hurt his bitlet mech in any way.

- He tells Prowl in so many words he will make the stoic mech lose composure and shows Jazz that even if he is a beast in the field, he is no Optimus Prime.

- Of course Bumblebee never finds out, he just happily sits on his sires lap and tells him about his day and how happy he is while the others know just how terrifying Optimus really is as he smiles looking at the two who are statue still failing to look unfazed.

- If its Tarn trying to get with Bee Optimus does not care about peace nor does he care about being civil or having honor. He will make sure Tarn knows to never set pede near his bitlet again. Megatron does not do anything to stop Optimus, he warned his troops, they should’ve listened.

- Oddly if its Soundwave and Shockwave Optimus is down right pissed but does nothing to stop it. Bee is in his rebellious phase and he hopes it will end soon. He bites his glossa in hopes it will be over soon and Bee will pick a nice autobot he approves of. Bee does not. Optimus almost rips his finials off when he sees Bee taking care of Shockwave and Soundwaves sparklings Rumble and Frenzy. They look like a family pod and he wishes it would stop. Its Ratchet that pats his shoulder armor and tells him to look at the bright side, “he’s well protected. Those sparklings nearly offlined a mech for trying to touch him. What do you think Shockwave and Soundwave will do?” Optimus isn’t so against it after that, after all- anything goes to protect his bitlet.

- Optimus out right refuses for Bee to Starscream which leads to Bee running off and Optimus leaking coolant chasing after him. Optimus does NOT want anything to come of this and he can’t live a peaceful life cycle knowing his bitlet is mated to Starscream of all mechas. Until he sees how loving and genuine Starscream can be. He’s still a menace and a scrap screamer with everybot else but for Bee he’s at least tame, bare-able and sweet sparked.

- Optimus honestly puts the least amount of pressure on Thundercracker. He’s civil, plans things, looks at the bigger picture, is not Starscream or the little menace Skywarp. And he easily sees how smitten Thuncracker is about Bee. He didn’t put up much fight when he saw Bee returning those feelings and didn’t object when Thundercracker asked to spark bond with Bee. When TC is seen cuddling with Bee Optimus forgets TC is a decepticon who should not be relaxing in an autobot base with his bitlet wrapped in a blanket in recharge on his chassis while said seeker writes a play dedicated to his bitlet….Optimus actually doesn’t mind this. His bitlet is happy so he is happy.

- last but not least if its Blitzwing…Primus help them. Its every creators worst nightmare to know their sweet, precious gremlin bitlet is being courted by the likes of Blitzwing. The afthole seeker turned triple changer who courts his bitlet in some of the sweetest and most chaotic ways imaginable. Blitzwing draws countless images of Bumblebee in recharge, fueling, fighting and gazing at the stars. He would think it sweet if it weren’t the triple changer he saw half devour a mech for touching his bitlet inappropriately. The only reason he stopped was because Bee demanded him. Optimus was NOT fond of Blitzwing asking for Bumblebee’s servo and spark. Nor was he fond of how gentle Blitzwing could be with his bitlet when it was just the two of them. Optimus will deny stalking them he simply had the same route as they did. Even when he looked through their shared home and watched as Blitzwing made fuel for the both of them every lunar cycle without fail because apparently it was his love language.

-Optimus definitely didn’t break down leaking coolant the moment his bitlet said he was in love and spark bonded to Blitzwing. And no, Optimus didn’t hold Bee hostage in his arms leaking because he didn’t want to let his little bitlet go. He did no such thing.

Basically Dad optimus is protective and wants only the best for his baby bot while also being emotional.

TF FANS PLEASE CONSIDER

Sparkling!Bumblebee (I’m imagining TFP as I always do, but go ahead and headcanon any ’Bee you want) being so small and tiny that when Optimus Prime transforms, he can just plop ’Bee into his passenger seat and buckle him in to carry him around. When they’re not zooming around to get to places, Optimus will park and let ’Bee sit in his driver’s seat. ’Bee excitedly grips the steering wheel and mimes driving, and enthusiastically yells “BEEP!” to pretend he’s honking the horn. Eventually, when ’Bee is a little older, Optimus will explain to him that his semi truck horn is different from the regular Vehicon horns, but in the meantime, Optimus plays along, and even honks for ’Bee to make the little sparkling think it was his doing. And ’Bee clambers all over Optimus’ seats, and clicks buttons left and right, even though he has no idea what they do. When ’Bee finally gets tuckered out and falls asleep, Optimus switches on his engine, only to discover that his hazards, wipers, and heater are all going at once, very noisily; and he has to urgently shut them off before the mechanical symphony wakes up his son.

Soft Bumblebee+Optimus where Bee wakes up after a nightmare and sits on the couch with tv as background noise and Optimus finds him. He's been staying up late doing overdue datawork and noticed there was light in the main room so he checked and found Bee silently crying so he comforted him and stayed with him as long as he needed.

blitzbee double date with megop?

- Megatron teases Blitzwing for having a size kink constantly.

-In return Blitzwing teases Megatron that he has a size kink too, not to mention how star optic Megatron gets when he makes Optimus curl with energon around the faceplates.

- They always banter before landing on the clearing to meet their autobots. Optimus is fussing over Bee who looks ready to fry Optimus circuits. Optimus doesn’t know what Blitzwing means when he calls Optimus a “natural creator” while smirking at Megatron who fires a blast his direction that gets misdirected by Bee.

- Blitz thinks Bee know exactly what it means, he just doesn’t see any point in telling Blitz to stop since its true and annoying the yellow bug. When Bee says he hopes their breeding kink kicks in soon so Optimus can stop parenting him, Blitzwing cackles so hard his random persona almost bites his own glossa off.

-Only Optimus is clueless as to why Megatron is refusing to look any bot in the optic as he swells with energon on his cheek plates making Optimus worry and creator him further proving the two bots point.

- Megatron pulls out a special blend of high grade and oil for himself and Optimus while Blitzwing enjoys being fed copper and nickel sheddings that Bee seasoned to perfection with energon.

-Optimus tells Megatron things he’s learned while researching forbidden archives while Megatron listens star optic and captivated. Completely spark sick for this caring bot who has no idea the power he holds. If he so much as asked Megatron to seize every forbidden datapad from Cybertron itself, he would.

-Bee and Blitzwing shake their helms at the two spark sick leaders while also being quite touchy and affectionate themselves.

-Blitzwing has to hold Bee, needs to feel his frames warmth to be assured he is safe and whole while Bee needs to feel Blitzwing beside him. Within optics search and servo’s reach. Both have some ugly scars of the past they only share with the other and they understand. It was not at all rushed in their opinion when they spark bonded very very early in the relationship. They didn’t tell others knowing how it would look but they knew each others sparks and each other as well as themselves.

-they could not survive nor live let alone exist without the other and so they bonded. They could see Optimus and Megatron were in the same boat except they waited a normal rushed pace to spark bond.

-it was odd meeting like this so often to simply be with their other so intimately while with another couple but they felt a comfort in their double dates as well.

-it was both a safety and familiarity in having frequent double dates.

- strength in numbers and Optimus had a horrible time away from Bee. The bot bonded to Bee early on before meeting Megatron or even leaving Cybertron when he accidentally sire bonded with the younger mech. Bee was still not happy about it for reasons only Blitzwing and oddly Prowl, a far closer friend to Bee than the others beside Blitzwing, knew about.

-As much as Bee still didn’t like it he loved it. He had a hard time staying away from his now sire and felt utmost comfort and safety when in the presence of him and his conjunx.

-a far strangled distant connection was felt to Megatron as well and while they didn’t comment on it, Optimus was always happy to see them acknowledge and sit in comfortable silence with the other by choice. At times going out of their way to find the other even.

-Not to say Blitzwing didn’t have a more friendly relationship with Optimus. The two simply enjoyed their shared love of fine arts together. Blitzwing was more into physical art but he did enjoy novels and literature too. They compared their favorites to those of Earth who learned could be quite talented even with such a short lifespan.

- they enjoy going out on solo dates yes but they much prefer their double dates more often than not. But none will admit it aloud. It was known. Just never spoken.

Papa Prime Headcanons 2

After a tough mission or when Bumblebee gets backlashes from particular disturbing events of the war, Optimus will tell him old stories. And he extend his ERM field to further comfort Bee and only leaves once Bee is in full power down. That is also one of the few moments that Optimus fully relaxes and let's his emotions out.

Whenever Arcee starts to pull back from everyone and her past regrets come back Optimus spaars with her or just silently drives next to her on patrol. He just let's her vent without giving advice if she doesn't ask for it.

After Smokescreens arrival he and Optimus had a long talk about Alpha Trion and Cybertron in its war days. At the end Smokescreen broke down and Optimus hugged him and wrapped him up in his ERM field until he calmed down again.

Knockout and Optimus once got trapped in a mine collaps due to stray blaster fire. Instead of facing of against each other, Optimus witnessed Knockout curled to a ball in a corner hyperventilating. He slowly got closer and gently extended his ERM field to calm Knockout down. He talked to him in hushed tones until they where freed. Knockout never forgot that day and after he joined the autobots he thanked Optimus, who just regarded him with the same gentle smile he held all those years ago on that same day.

Optimus has in his cabin a photo of the entire team that miko took, raf edited and jack printed out to robot size. It is his most treasured possession and his good luck charm. So whenever he feels unsure or doubt he touches his chassis to remind himself who he is fighting for. The team doesn't know that and think he touches his chassis because the matrix lies there.

June once witnessed Optimus reprimanding the children for putting themselves in danger yet again. As she leaned back she commented more to herself. "He is such a dad." To which Ratchet answered. "Oh you have no idea". The entire team except for the children and Optimus himself realized that, Optimus sees the children as his own sparklings. And noone is gonna mentioned it. Mostly because there is an ongoing betting pool for when Optimus is going to realize that his sire protocols are running.

So in light of recent bots getting freaked out by human bodies (hilarious btw thank you for those 😂), one idea popped into my head. So I have a "Dad sneeze" (as a 17 year old female this amuses my dad to no end) that sounds like I'm getting stabbed. Miko has this as well and will lie in wait for the perfect opportunity to get the bots to jump. The bots will never know peace ever again

Sneezing is a thing for Cybertronians, in a sense at any rate. They are capable of blowing air out of their vents harshly to clear debris and reset their systems. They are used to their own kind making such sounds. But the squishies? Nah that's TERRIFYING.

Miko figured out the bots get scared of humans sneezing when Rafael had several sneezes in short succession. She watched as Bulkhead tripped and fell in his panic. Arcee skidded a bit on her wheels. Bumblebee's door wings perked right up and his optics cycled wide in terror. Ratchet cursed and dropped his tools. Optimus keyboard smashed hard. Wheeljack and Ultra Magnus were in the middle of an argument at the time and immediately slipped up and halted, their respective horns blaring.

Miko learned, and through this, she thought it would be even more hilarious if the sneeze performed was even louder. Thus her scheme was formed. Her sneezes are loud and aggressive, the team do not know this. As such, it wasn't hard to wait until the team were doing a weekly debrief, and upon feeling a sneeze coming up, allow it to run its course.

Sounding like a gunshot, Miko's sneeze sent the entire team into various states of alarm. Optimus puffed up like a cat, his plating flaring and his finials snapping up. Ratchet jolted so harshly that he looked ready to duck and cover. Bulkhead and Wheeljack both dove for cover, uncaring of grace. Ultra Magnus threw whatever he was holding in Miko's direction, which she barely missed being squished by. Bumblebee and Smokescreen made various noises, Smokescreen squealing and Bee dipping into frantic whirls. Arcee froze up like a deer in the headlights.

Despite the danger, it was a win in Miko's book even if it resulted in a dent in the wall from Ultra Magnus's gut reaction.
