As you provided a detailed report on Agust D’s actions, you couldn't help but notice a twinkle of amusement in Yoongi's eyes. He had always been a man of few words, but his gaze held a silent appreciation for your wit and fearlessness in this line of work. Since meeting Yoongi, your professional relationship with him had always been one of mutual respect and trust, despite the dark world you both inhabited.

"You've done well, doll," Yoongi finally acknowledged at the end of your report, his voice laced with admiration. "I appreciate your dedication in doing this. This isn’t easy work, especially with so many eyes and ears working for Agust."

Your heart swelled with pride, knowing that your efforts were recognized by your boss, your leader. However, you know you can’t be feeling a certain type of way over his innocent comments.  You took a step closer, your voice lowering to a whisper. "Boss, may I remind you that there are eyes and ears on you too? It's crucial to maintain a certain level of decorum and professionalism."

Yoongi's lips curled into a sly side smile, his gaze locking with yours. "You're absolutely right. We should be more careful, especially when it comes to our private activities."

Boy arrived for Welive #1 wired and ready to defy the employee manual that says no live broadcasts without permission.

Besides the Bam butt wiping TMI, Jungkook also said he emptied his freezer so he could keep his (8) frozen beer mugs in there ready for action. And also (10) smaller glasses... maybe pilsner glasses? 400ml is not a small glass. 18 large servings of adult beverages. Priorities.

Gotta admit, I was stressing for a minute over the remark that he’s stopped working on his album... but Jungkookie says he’s kind of into this living like a rock for now. He’s not feeling pressured or overly anxious to be working or trying to make himself work. How he said what he said implies maybe he is really relishing this “doing what he wants at age 25...” Good for him. He deserves to slack for a while.

And he got me laughing out loud when someone commented for him to stop drinking, it’s not healthy... he says, if his body stays healthy it wonders what it’s supposed to do and it stops doing its job so he introduces unhealthy components (like beer) for it to wake up and fight inside and that’s how he’ll become healthy... HAHAHAHAHAHAA, oh Kookie. Don’t tell people that! they will believe it! Armys are gullible! 

What he really meant with that explanation is: “don’t lecture me.”

Jungkook gave us the long awaited tattoo explanations. Honestly, does anyone think NO ONE has EVER asked him what the tattoos mean? Do you think he’s NEVER had to explain to anyone? EVER? What exactly would anyone expect him to say about certain ones? He also didn’t speak about covering the tiger with the black sun... he says when he first got them, he didn’t put much thought into it so maybe the tiger was one of those things and he covered it up with something that had more meaning. An eclipsed sun. And he got the eye because he wanted to be mindful of his actions because he’s always being watched... he says this right after saying he got tattoos thoughtlessly, LOL! I’m sad to hear he had a bad tattoo experience here in the States.

Wishlist for PJM1

I don't know about about you, but my feeling listening to VIBE is that Jimin, and we as a people, can only go up from here. So I decided to list everything I'd love to happen in PJM1 - from the music, to the potential features/collaborators, to the styling.

The Styling

For PJM1, I've always hoped Jimin would channel Victor Nikiforov. For my readers who don't watch anime, please bear with me here. I'll explain.

Platinum grey or silver, waist-long hair. Solid neutral colours on form-fitting pants or anything that highlights Jimin's beautiful dance lines. Victor is a character from the anime Yuri on Ice (highly recommended). He's a world class figure skater, a good-natured and kind person who mentors the main character. And this man is all lean muscle, executing calculated and refined movements while he glides over ice, even when he performs intense and sometimes aggressive routines. He's beautiful and I can't not see Jimin in him.

With this sort of styling on Jimin, I can easily see him switching between elfin elegance and an almost cruel and quiet intensity, or even having both energies co-exist mid-performance. Like an assassin.

I know Jimin is blonde right now, likely already filming for PJM1, but what I would give to see Jimin in this styling. His hair being almost waist-long is a firm requirement in my wishlist.

The Music

Who should I kill, fuck, or marry to have Jimin on a rock song? What will it take? Because I need the universe to gift us with the one track that will reset all life as we know it - Jimin utilizing his low and upper registers on a rock song. No other genre has the range and versatility to embody anger, joy, sensuality, pain, grief, humour, like rock music. Another wild card I've dreamed of for Jimin, is for him to include a song in the Afrobeats genre (and to collaborate with an actual African artist, not just lift their sound verbatim *cough* B.I.).

Jimin on a song like Vibration by Fireboy DML will solve the birth rate crisis in several countries. It would be club banger of the century.

(Add in a reverse modulation for Jimin to come in with his lower register, a bridge, and an Adonis or two *%#@*! in the MV and it's a wrap)

Looking at the roster of producers Jimin is working with, PJM1 will likely lean more pop and R&B, but at least one song with symphonic metal, folk rock, alternative or psychedelic rock, would suit him perfectly and elevate his album over the current milieu of k-pop.

And this is probably an unpopular opinion, but I love rapper Jimin.

He'll need to work on his breath control, but he's got everything else. If Jimin has even just one song where he simply speaks over a beat, anyway he does it, I might lose it.

The Features / Collaborators

Anyone who has followed me for more than a few months has likely seen me gush about:

Taka from ONE OK ROCK,

Tyler from Twenty One Pilots,

Mitch from Pentatonix, and

Asa - a queen and in very loose sense, the French-Nigerian analog to Erykah Badu.

I don't know how to explain it, all I can say is I can hear their voices together in my head and it sounds like paradise. If Jimin has any of those four on PJM1, I'll ask for nothing else.

Fireboy DML whose song I linked above isn't my favourite collaborator to work with Jimin in terms of vocal contrasts, but I do like the music he makes and think Jimin would body any of his songs.

The next best thing, is of course either Yoongi or Jungkook collaborating with him on a track. As this is his first solo album, I wonder if he'll go the route of the rapline so far, in seeking out only voices outside BTS, or if he'll include any of the members on his first album. If he does, Yoonkook has to be the obvious choice because if Who was incredible and Tony Montana made me look twice at Jimin, having either or both members on a song with him is sure to create magic.

so funny story, my mom is actually down the bangtan rabbit hole. every time i go to like some reel on IG or post about them, she's already beat me to it. and she loves herself some jay kay but run BTS dance practice yoongi was so powerful i think he's testing her loyalty.

i mean, how many amazing yoongis have we gotten to enjoy over the years? mint yoongi, mic drop headband yoongi, daechwita yoongi? and somehow this iteration of yoongi is even more powerful than those?

it's also hilarious to me how yoongi pretends to not know the effect he has on people. but then he does all of the things he knows will set the fandom on fire lmao

So my favorite YouTube twin reactors (Jared & Jordan) finally reacted to Daechwita and goddddd the satisfaction I get when I watch other people be blown away by songs and performances that blow me away. 🤩🤩

And that got me thinking - what are BTS songs that blow your mind and drive you mad and think, wow they really did something like this (production-wise, lyrics, performance… the whole package)? Give me 7 and let me know why! And note, this is completely different from a favorite BTS songs list (I’d probably be ranting heavily about this)

Mine would be:

Blood, Sweat, and Tears - literally every time it plays, I feel like it’s the first time I’m hearing it. The whole thing is so damn sexy.

Save Me - the contrast of the simplicity of the MV with the complexity of the song with its EDM vibe but it’s still somehow so raw and emotional drives me wild. And black cap, skinny jeans Jin still haunts my dreams.

Fake Love - the instrumental (and the transition to the song during performances) is so ominous and haunting. It’s amazing how this song gives me literal chills. Also, JK’s abs.

Tear - the way I hear the whole song literally on the first note. It’s just so meaningful and emotional and the green lighting, rm’s crazy rapping, suga’s ‘getting shot’ actions, and j-hope’s panting give me all the feels

Serendipity - I would inject this song, this MV, this performance, and this Jimin in my veins if I could. I am so, so in love with this song I can’t explain it

Black Swan - it’s such a raw song and it feels stripped down but not at the same time. Like FL, it’s so haunting (also bc the movie played with my mind a bit). It’s a masterpiece that I think took bts to a whole other universe

Dis-ease - the vibe is so nostalgic yet so unique, so funky and old school but also so new. And that bridge is just so, so insane with the way the vocal line was transitioning

During Hobis live he was asked about Yoongi’s friendship tattoo but he said that it should be up to Yoongi when/how he wants to share it …. But what if… Ryen.. I’m so serious about this.. What if he reveals it during his next music video!!! We all know that he’ll be one of the next members to release new music and the way he did it before was to spring the Daechwita music video on us and remember how he’s been hinting that there’s a third agust d/suga ???? RYEN DEAD SET ON THIS!! This would explain why he hasn’t shown his tattoo 😭

I’m also thinking what if… what if it’s on his wrist??? Like on his pulse point because we (army/bts/music) keeps his blood pumping?? Or what if it’s on his ring finger because he’s devoted to us??? OR WHAT IF IT’s ON HIS CHEST CLOSE TO HIS HEART BECAUSE WE KEEP HIM ALIVE!!!!
